A close friend of mine found this location and wanted to try it. Personally I was impressed by the simplicity yet elegance of this location. The waiters were very inviting and really made you feel as though you're a very important guest. I love the elegance of paperless menus. You simply scan the QR code that's found on the center of the table you're dining at and voila, you have your menu. There's plenty of parking and the restroom was outstandingly clean. When it comes to breakfast options or any option for that matter, you have plenty to choose from. Honestly I couldn't make up on mine. My friend went with the Thai Tea pancakes. I wanted to give the Chocolate Fantasy pancakes a try. Usually I would order orange juice along with my pancakes but at this location, a drink doesn't seem to have room because the pancakes are satisfyingly big in size and they give you three of them. Unfortunately when our order arrived and my friend took a bite out of her Thai tea pancakes, she wasn't too happy about it. She stated that the pancakes taste ordinary and she couldn't she taste the flavor of Thai tea. Unfortunately she returned the pancakes. I, on the other hand fell in love with mine. I have to admit they were a little heavy with the chocolate but other than that it was awesome. The price isn't bad for the portions that they serve. They have gluten free pancakes. It's pretty good. The whipped cream that it comes with sometimes has this sour cream flavor to it. Not sure if it's how they make it or if it's old but I get the whipped cream on the side. Sitting outside, the service is slightly slower than inside. The space inside feels small because of how the tables and chairs are set up. It does get loud inside. The food is good. I prefer this location over the Glendale location. Parking is better and I find that we like the overall experience at the Burbank location. read more

Shiver me timbers this place is unreal! Open bar seating allowed us to skip the wait, AND see pretty much every dish get taken out. Everything has that polished almost adorable cartoon food look to it if that makes sense, feels like a dream. Had a pancake bacon and eggs combo, upgraded to matcha pancakes for the win. Also tried the fiancés croissant dish with strawberries, cream cheese and whip (the MK). Gotdam. Staff was incredible, SHOUT OUT TO SKI!! I had this place bookmarked for years and finally got here today! Yay! We went on a Monday for lunch and even though it was crowded we were seated right away. I wish they had real menus. I hate scanning the QR code and reading the enormous menu on my little phone. Yes the menu is huge! I had the Eggs Florentine. That's eggs Benedict with spinach. Yummy. The hollandaise wasn't too heavy. And it came with a ton of potatoes that were different. They weren't oily at all, almost like they'd been baked. It was very noisy inside. A few things were very wrong. At number three the location was very dirty and had zero ac it was very un enjoyable and the Glendale location was much better. At number two we have the food it tasted like it was very cheaply made and was extremely cold.And last but not least at number one we have the customer service. Waiters were wearing random clothes so you couldn't tell who was a waiter and who was not. The waiters would stare at you asking them for service and continue to walk away. This place hasn't changed their quality is just as good and the food is just as delicious as a few years ago when I first visited. This place is a cool spot for brunch and parking is always easy. My friend had the Summer's Dream and I had the Chocolate Tuxedo which has brownie bits. Yum! We also had huevos rancheros to share and I had the Pooh's Sunrise with 2 eggs 4 pcs of bacon. I love the pancakes here because its fluffy and that mascarpone cream and homemade whip is sooo good! Their sides are also good and I know they have so much more on their menu like waffles and crepes but I seriously cannot get enough of their pancakes. (Also, Im more of a pancake person anyway. Not much to say, this place was amazing & incredibly accommodating. The food was made to perfection and the scene was cozy. Always PACKED though, so be ready to wait a bit before being seated. Oh! My family stopped at Bea Bea's for breakfast before catching a flight out of Burbank. The waitress was nice and my favorite part of my breakfast was the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes which were crazy good. The rest of my breakfast was fine nothing special. My family felt the same way about what they ordered. We spent around $30 per person which seemed unreasonable and I would not return. The other individuals in my party enjoyed their food. I ordered the matcha pancakes and while the outside was the delicious- the inside was uncooked and tasted like raw dough. When we brought up to the server that it was just dough inside, she dismissed me and said it got squishy because of the sauce. It has a lot of ingredients and can fill you up fast, but it was also very dry despite drowning it in sour cream and avocados. Definitely a good and safe breakfast choice. - tuna melt- Hope you like the taste of tuna. I am not used to such huge amount of it between breads, so if you enjoy the taste I recommend it. Definitely a filling sandwich and I only had half of it! -chicken pesto panini- I hope I got the name right lol but this was a good alternative to the tuna melt because it tasted a lot lighter but still flavorful. A solid sandwich choice! -Matcha pancake- I have saved the best for last. This pancake would be the sole reason why I would venture out into Burbank just to have a taste of this again. I had pretty high expectations already since my cousin hyped this up and yet it still exceeded my expectations!! You can taste the matcha but it isn't overwhelming or bitter like how I imagined and just the perfect amount of sweet for both sweet tooth's and those who prefer less sugar. The lady who worked there called us to apologize for forgetting to put the whipped cream on the pancake but honestly it was so darn delicious that it wasn't even necessary. Tried the Thai Tea pancake... it was amazing!! That was probably the best thing there. Sweet potato fries were great!! I also tried a burger, and it was a bit dry, it needed sauce. The onion rings are nice and crunchy but I wish the batter had more flavor. I was disappointed with the crab cake eggs Benedict. I felt as though the crab cake part was flavorless and a little bit fishy... and the hollandaise sauce was also flavorless like an unsalted egg yolk. It definitely attracts the geriatric taste palate, but I'll definitely be back for the pancakes, waffles, etc. !! read more

For my Valley people, this breakfast spot is a cross between Cici's Cafe and Norms. This is located near the Warner Brothers Studio (actually pretty close to Toluca Lake), but technically it's in Burbank. FOOD QUALITY - The presentation of the food looks just a little fancier than Norms, but I would rate Bea Bea's and Norms food quality about the same. It's satisfying breakfast food. - the Eggs Benedict was good, but I prefer a more sour & yolky-tasting hollandaise sauce. It comes with breakfast potatoes and one slice of tomato. - the crepes that came with the Kin's Sunshine's plate was great, but it was more like a skinnier pancake with powdered sugar (there was no fruit included). The crepes had nothing else in it (in fact, it is served with syrup on the side) - the breakfast sausages were my favorite; very hearty - Bea Bea's Breakfast Pancake is a pancake that has eggs, ham and cheddar cheese INSIDE OF THE PANCAKE. My dad really enjoyed it, but my aunt was less than approving (you'll have to try it out for yourself). He gave me some and I enjoyed it (I kind of want to try making it at home). AMBIANCE - As far as ambiance, it's a super causal restaurant that kind of has the same ambiance as CiCi's Cafe. Those dining room tables are hard; I hit myself a couple of times because I was next to the back door so I had to move frequently to make room for the servers and customers passing through. PRICES - On average, the prices are between $12 to $15 per plate. However there are cheap options (like oatmeal costs $8.50) and there are also pricier plates (like the ones that have NY steak costs ~ $24.95). MENU - One of this restaurant's strengths is that there are a lot of options to choose from. This was the determining factor for selecting this place because I was going with someone who is a super picky eater. WAIT TIME - For a party of 7, it took 30 minutes to get seated on a Saturday around 10:30AM. CONCLUSION - Solid breakfast spot. If I am in the area, I will return again. read more
