This is not the same Beaverton Honda it used to be. People were nice and helpful before they moved to this bigger, newer, fancier location now. We just had our service done there and the employees made us feel unwelcomed. Was it because our car is old and we are not buying new cars? Or maybe their workers are overworked and stressed. Before the pandemic, we would drive half an hour to Hillsboro to get services. This time we ended up here again because they are close to us. read more

The worst car buying experience in 30 years. Started working with Ernesto who communicated well. The day we were going to look at a Honda Passport he was unavailable and we got stuck with the highest pressure salesperson I can remember, Jake. He was doing everything he could to sell all the add on warranties for thousands extra. As we kept saying no, there was one add on called sealants that he said could not be removed but was not part of the published price of the car. We finally negotiated a higher amount for our trade in and accepted the extended warranty and paid for the sealants. When we got home it was clear that the sealants was an extended "appearance package warranty" When I told Ernesto about this and mentioned fraud I got a call from a sales manager who returned our $877. Next, we live in WA and the collected fees for licensing and registration. With our temp tag ready to expire I pinged Ernesto again and magically got a call from our local licensing dept that the paperwork was in but no fees were transmitted. We had to pay for it directly but Beaverton Honda said they would send a check. That did not happen. Fortunately we had used a credit card for part of the purchase and were able to file a claim for those fees. This dealership is dishonest and I would recommend you go anywhere else. read more

This dealership used to be better. Prices are high, including for service, but its hard to even get anyone on the phone to ask questions. We bought several new cars at this dealership, and have serviced them there - so it is disappointing. The only reason we continue is that they are the closest Honda dealer. Worst place, NEVER! I have a brand new CRV Every time I take my car in for service something comes back wrong! - 1st time my car came back with two big scratches - 2nd time my car came back with missing bolts where the air filters are. - 3rd time I took my car in cause my backtail gate wasn't opening.. I had 5 to 6 people come out and try to figure it out and no one could figure it out so they told me to make an appointment and because my car is new it would be covered to fix it. Then they tried to charge me.. and I had to pay for a rental car out of pocket.. come to find out..there wasn't anything wrong with it. Such a waste of time and money. -4th time I called to make an appointment and I was trying to get connected with the manger and the gentleman by the name of CURSIT actually hung up on me. I had a really poor service experience here a couple weeks ago and I have done everything in my power to get in touch with management before writing this review to see if they would be willing to remediate it and they have not had the decency to even call me back to hear about the situation let alone remediate it. I called to schedule an oil change for my new Honda that I leased through Beaverton Honda back in January. I also was having an issue with an error on my dash when I backed up that told me to see the dealer. I was told that the oil change would be quick but due to the diagnostics, it would require a 6 hour appointment block. My husband and I only have one car so I went ahead and scheduled this appointment with the acceptance that I would just wait at the dealership for the max 6 hours. Fast forward to the day of my appointment, I dropped my car off and 3 hours in I still hadn't heard anything so I texted the number that they provided for checkins. I was told that my car was next up for diagnostics but that it would happen at hour 4. At hour 5, I still hadn't heard anything new so I messaged again. This time I mentioned that I wasn't able to stay for more than 6 hours. This was because I needed to pick my child up from school and I had alotted the time needed for a 6 hour appointment block, as I was told during scheduling. At 5 hours and 20 minutes, the rep came out to find and told me that the diagnostics still hadn't been run and the oil change hadn't even been performed and that alone would take 45 minutes and put me over the 6 hour appointment block, not to mention if they ran the diagnostics and actually had to fix something. This was incredibly frustrating to me that I had just wasted 5+ hours for nothing. The rep did not care and asked if I wanted him to get my car, which I did because I needed to go pick my child up from school. He got my car and did not say a word to me as he gave me my keys and I left after just wasting so much time. I called the service department after I left about the poor experience and wanting to know if there was a way they could remediate it so I didn't have to come another time and waste 6+ hours and they said that they would pass a message to Brandon Fonville, the Service Manager. I did not hear anything back so I called and left a message for Brandon Fonville the following week. I also left a message explaining the experinece to Tim Nelson, General Manager, via the contact page and when I didn't hear back from him, I called and left him a message. Honestly the service experience was bad and I was pissed about the total waste of time but the total lack of care for a customer after the fact has been even worse. I would expect that Brandon or Tim would have enough care for a customer to call them back even if there was nothing else they could do to remediate the situation. I came in because my car said to see the dealer. You are the dealer that I leased the car from, I would expect you all to have a little more care for your customers and their time. I will not be re-leasing or purchasing a car through Beaverton Honda again. I would like to go somewhere that ACTUALLY cares. read more

I leased a vehicle from Beaverton Honda recently. I went in with a credit score of over 800 and knew exactly what I wanted. They have a "One Person, One Price" motto, which I thought was nice. After sitting down with the salesman I was shown multiple options to lease or buy, both the model I wanted and another. I specifically asked if this was the best deal and if there was an option with no money down. After being told there was not, I agreed to a lease option and went on my way. Literally within hours I start seeing adds for their dealership, and the car I leased, for no money down and less than my monthly payments. I called the dealership for clarification as to why I wasn't shown these options. The salesman took several days to call me back and literally said, "We don't show those options unless people specifically ask for them."....which I did! I feel disrespected and taken advantage of. I would recommend another Honda dealership over this place to anyone looking for a new vehicle. read more

deceptive, passive-aggressive salespeople, and the salespeople know nothing about the cars. one spent half an hour trying to convince me that a feature which is actually standard from the factory, boldly listed on the Honda web site, doesn't exist and would have to be added afterword at significant expense. The business model is that the salesperson is the only one you talk to, which basically hides the people making the decisions and results in vague communication and withholding of information during discussions. This experience quickly went from good, to the worst experience ever quickly. I purchased a brand new 2018 Honda Civic Sport 6 spd manual in Orchid White. I thought I was being told the truth from the get go and instead I was fed nothing but lies and having Brandon, in sales bend or omit the truth all together. Thanks buddy! I'm so glad I could drop 26,xxx on a car plus 1500 down to get NOTHING that you promised. 1. I was told that the "extra", select vehicle coverage and the dings, dents, tire repair covered ANY damage to the outside of the car for 3 years. That was a flat out lie. So I just paid almost 900 more for what exactly? 2. I was told with this coverage I would never have to worry about a rental or being without a car. Also a lie. I ACTUALLY only get coverage if I bring it in and you deem that it is regular maintenance, and then you go through a third party company called Esos or Ethos and they cover the rental. I've had my car less than 4 months and I've already needed service twice! The first time was for a nail/screw in my tire. I was told, oh it's just the sensor because it's cold out so we will fill the tire and come back if it comes back on. Then he tells me that 3 tires were at 40 lbs of pressure and the 1 I had mentioned was at 20. This is NOT a malfunctioning sensor BUT I listened and left anyway because you were so busy. Sure enough the next day the light came on, on my way to work and so I called again. This time I fought for an actual appointment so it would actually get fixed. Had to fight for a rental then as well. So now I bring my car in for the clear mask behind the door handle on the back driver side to be fixed as its peeling and has dirt under it and it looks horrible. Less than 4 months and its already peeling. Super impressed. So they fix that, keep the car overnight. I also asked that the rock chip be repaired because, again, I was told it was covered. In fact it is not covered and it would cost me $1200 to fix and then you have to replace the clear bra. Excuse me?! The clear bra is covered for 10 years, no matter what so why would I have to pay for that to be replaced after a rock chip is repaired. Then why isnt this rock chip covered either? Well Lynda states, per your contract it's only paintless repair we cover. Well thanks Lynda, the "manager". So instead they threw some touch up paint on it that looks horrible. Like a child painted it on my brand new car. Sales never once apologized or attempted to fix my problem. I'm only 32 & have many more car purchases in my future but NOT from you people. I will NEVER do business with you again unless you make this right. I will say, your ONLY saving grace was Eric the service advisor. He was the ONLY person who was kind, apologized, understood and offered me what solutions he could. At least he tried. The rest of you ought to be ashamed. I'm sure of course it couldnt have anything to do with the fact that my hair is teal and I'm covered in tattoos because you wouldnt discriminate or anything. Yet a proper white person in a suit, I can almost guarantee would NEVER have been treated as I was treated. So in closing, avoid Brandon, the sales guy and avoid Lynda, the sales "manager". He will lie to you and she will talk to you like you're stupid. You just lost a loyal Honda customer. Guess my next car will be a Toyota. read more

When we said we were were ready to buy and headed to the dealer she got us through the process in less than 2 hours including a test drive. We did not feel pressured and she knew we didn't want to be there a long time either. I would like follow up my previous review as Beaverton Honda has since reached out to me to make things right. I would like to add a disclaimer that I don't leave many reviews and my intent was not to get anything for free but rather provide feedback. That being said, my recent experience with them has been a night and day difference. I received a couple of follow up calls from their management and they ended up sending a technician to my home to perform the maintenance. Very important, I felt extremely safe with regards to COVID, Gordon was wearing and mask and gloves to protect me and my space. He was extremely polite, professional and communicated with me throughout the entire process. It was the follow up from the management that will keep me as a loyal Honda owner. Not to be trusted. We had been deciding on a vehicle on their used lot that was a very specific custom Jeep. We had driven it 3 times including an overnight test drive. We were taking our time doing research regarding warranty options, calling MOPAR and AEV, etc. We decided to purchase the vehicle on Monday morning, called our salesman to let him know and sent our pre-approved finance paperwork from our bank to them. Our salesman said they would get it washed and ready for us. We told them we would be there in 1-1.5 hours. After we arrived at the dealership, they informed us that someone else was driving the vehicle. They had taken it out of the wash bay, let them test drive it and then sold it out from under us while we stood in their showroom and watched helplessly. Tim, the sales manager refused to help and provided no solution other than, "too bad." The GM added that "somebody made a mistake". But we still ended up getting shafted. If this dealership does business this way I'm glad I'm not giving them my money. UPDATE: The general sales manager, Linda, called to let us know definitively that the Jeep was now sold. My wife gave her a heads up that we would be filing a consumer protection complaint. Linda responded by hanging up on my wife while she was still talking. Very professional. This dealership uses ILLEGAL BAIT AND SWITCH tactic to sell cars. They advertised a certified used HRV at a low price to bring buyers in. Test drove the car and said I wanted to buy it and would put a down payment to hold it until the next day to complete the paperwork. Nick said that was not necessary the car would not be sold before my appointment. 20 minutes before the scheduled appointment for finance Ty called and told me the car I wanted was sold. Brought my car in for service and was kept waiting 3hrs after the diagnostic was done in their waiting room without contact. After a total of 4 hrs for them to read the computer codes, still no one came so I went to inquire. I was given an estimate of the cost of repair and told it would be another 5hrs. So I returned home. I was contacted 30 min late and had to rush in rush hour traffic to get back before closing. Then was given a bill for $70 more than what I was quoted. When I asked about this the service associate, George became condescending. When I commented on this he became more agressive, interrupting, talking over me, more condescending and told me "it's just who I am". Beaverton Honda - Auto Repair Near Me - Beaverton, Oregon

This is a tough review for me, because parts of the buying experience were good, and parts were terrible. I'll do my best to lay out the facts. I was looking to lease a new Honda, and my sales rep, Kalea, texted me a rate of $344/mo (with some money down) which was far better than anything else I had been offered. I came in, and about 2 hours into the process (they had already run a credit check and were just starting the final paperwork), out comes the finance manager, Kristen. Kristen tells me that they had made a pricing mistake (something about how another sales rep, David, had calculated the residual value in a weird way which threw off the numbers), and that the actual payments would be $358/mo. Over a 36 month lease, this works out to over $500 more than we had agreed to. It also felt like the classic "bait and switch" that dealerships are so famous for. I suggested they include the upgraded floor mats (my cost would have been about $200 for this - I'm sure their cost would have been far less). While Kristen apologized, she also refused to do anything else to make it right, as she claimed she had already given me the best price possible. She did offer to buy me a soda, which I found insulting for a $500 price increase. I also suggested additional free service (such as an oil change) - they were steadfast in not negotiating in any way. I asked to speak to Tim Nelson, the GM of the dealership. He came over and was even less sympathetic than Kristen. Dealing with him was actually the worst part of the entire experience. He was borderline rude, and had an attitude of "take it or leave it, I don't care." Ultimately, I decided to go ahead with the deal because the $358/mo amount was still a better price than anyone else had quoted me. Ironically, if Kalea had quoted me $358/mo initially, I would have been very happy and this would have been a great review. I may be naive, but I actually believe the pricing quote was an honest mistake, but it was a big one, and one that was made so far along the process (they had already run my credit check!) that by failing to make it right they had waisted much of my day. Finally, I feel like it's a huge double standard: when a dealership asks you to sign to agree to a price, they will not budge, no matter what. However, when that same signed paper has numbers they don't like, they can change them without batting an eye. Ultimately, I enjoyed working with Kalea and I hope and believe that most people will have good experiences with her. However, their big signs promising "One person, one price, one hour" failed on all 3 counts in a huge way for me, and I think the GM, Tim Nelson, handled everything extremely poorly. read more

BEWARE OF SERVICE DEPARTMENT! Bought a brand spanking new 2018 Honda Odyssey from another dealership after having a not so great sales experience here... but we live closer to this dealership and figured we'd use them for service. Went in for an oil change and surprise! Their employee backed our car into another vehicle. Okay, accidents happen, it sucks, but we were willing to see how they sorted it out. Fast forward to the following week when they still hadn't returned any of our calls or followed up with us to let us know how they planned to solve this problem. Husband called and spoke with Amanda who was extremely polite, apologetic, and helpful, but said it ultimately wasn't her call to make and she'd review it with the service manager, Andy, and have him reach out to us. Heard from Andy later the same day who was truly awful to my husband. Said they wouldn't replace car seats (even though it was recommended by our car seat manufacturer) and tried to downplay the accident as "a scratched bumper." We got a loaner, they fixed the bumper, and here we are now -- still unreasonably arguing about replacing car seats per manufacturer recommendations. As if I would ever put my kids' safety in danger over Andy's bottom line. He tried to suggest I was extorting him (though I offered to send a copy of car seat manual as well as cut straps on current car seats) and conveniently his superior was not available for the next week. Solid work for an oil change -- crash the vehicle, poor communication, insult the customer, and though we've asked for no compensation beyond replacing car seats, refuse to to do so. read more

I was traveling from Southern California to Portland. I noticed an odd rpm pattern with my Civic CVT transmission on downhill slopes. I had just had my vehicle serviced before my trip and thought something was missed by the dealer in my hometown. Arriving in Portland I made my way directly to this Honda dealership as I was concerned I'd be left stranded. We were greeted by a gentleman named Mikey. He listened to my concerns checked with a service advisor and came back with great news. Evidently the CVT computer is programmed to activate higher revs than I thought would suffice. Turns out no problems with my car. I was grateful for their honesty and giving it to me straight. I would definitely recommend seeking Mikey out at the check in line and having him give you a hand. I took my car in for what said was a 3 hr service, coolant and a oil change. I didn't need my tires rotated. After 4 hrs I found my service person, he seemed surprised I wanted to check on the statues of my car. 20 minutes later I had my car. Should have checked the car before I left the shop, found black marks on the passenger side from their automatic car wash machine. Took my car back the next day and had it buffed out. One week later try to use my windshield washers and no fluid. Checked my report card from Beaverton Honda and it said washer fluid had been filled. I guess a second trip back to the shop that should have been completed the first time. I think I'm going to find another Honda dealership for service. This isn't the first time things have gone wrong and Beaverton Honda doesn't seem to care if my visit was satisfactory or not. So I won't be going back to Beaverton Honda. read more

recently took my Honda here for an Oil change. Big mistake. price was twice what it was only months ago. took over 2 hours, had to find the tech after the wait to see if I was spending the night. My car is in great shape, practically new because I don't drive it. should have been a quick thing. Their "point" system is a set up - does anyone ever get money off or do they just say that? Then couldn't find the keys to leave, tech had to try - finally we found them. Tech admitted others cut in line - who's fault might that be? When I called it was wide open the lady said. When I was there it was chaos - people waiting everywhere, some arriving after me, leaving before me. maybe they are more interested in selling than maintaining. As all other dealers, I had one of the worst experience with the dealer. I sold them a car when I signed everything they told me oh the check is not gonna be ready until tomorrow at 11 AM. I called them 11:50 AM to make sure my check is ready they said no it will be ready by 2 PM, so I finally show up at 2 PM and the checks still wasn't ready I had to wait another 30 minutes. After an awful first meeting at the Beaverton Honda dealership, I vowed to never return. This dealership was offering 2.9 APR on brand new Hondas. To qualify, you would need to have a credit score of at least 660. They said they ran my credit through all three agencies and 619 was the highest score they found for me. Based on this number, I was told I was ineligible for the promotion. I found out three days later from a different Honda dealership that my credit score was actually 668!!! Still not great, but it would have allowed me to take advantage of the deal. They lied.. and I don't know why. I was ready to buy a 2020 Honda that day and even said that outloud. It didn't matter, because Manny's lazy, lackadaisical (think Eeyore) approach to helping me find a car was void of enthusiasm. I did not even test drive one single vehicle even though I was there for almost two hours. I do not like posting ugly posts but this dealership needs to be called out. Fast forward to 24 hours later, I get a call from Selso (Manny's Mgr.) to do his obligatory check in with people who have come in but did not make a purchase. I get it. He was pretty nice and sounded like he knew what he was talking about. I told him I was and still am ready to purchase a car, but left out my experience with Manny. I told him EXACTLY what my credit score was, how much I could afford & how much I was planning to put down. He said he could definitely get me into something and asked if I wanted to make an appt. with him. I decided to go for it -even though he had the next two days off. I believed him. What a fool. So I Waited for him to return to work. I went in to meet Selso yesterday and Manny was awaiting my arrival at the front door. I thought he was taking me to see Selso... nope...I had sit and deal with this dude all over again. He doesn't seem to care and his complacency was obvious. He ran my credit which was higher than I thought and showed me my options which did not align with my conversation with Selso.Manny quoted me cars that were $100 over my budget and (AGAIN) tried to talk me into getting a lease. I was very clear about my reasons for not going down this route. At this point, I felt I was being taken advantage of and was really upset. I felt lied to and disrespected by Selso and asked to speak with him. He too, tried to sell me a lease and again, I said I was not interested. He would not let up. I know why it is not smart to lease a vehicle. You are basically renting a car. I already rent my apartment so I am not willing to put money into something that I do not own if I have a choice. On Top of it, he tells me that even i purchase a lower priced car, my APR would be around (12%!!!) for a SEVEN YEAR LOAN!! That's when I knew there was something shady going on at this dealership. I just purchased a Subaru Crosstrek back in December, 2019 with a 6% APR. Unfortunately, that car got into an accident and was totaled. Selso tried to explain it away saying that maybe something changed in my credit report since then. He was right! My credit score went up!! I told Selso that he lied to me and that I no longer trusted him. He was well versed in everything he had to say as the Manager, but all in all, a liar is a liar and he lied and wasted three days of my time. If he would've told me that my only option was to lease a car, I would not have waited for him to have his two days off so I could meet with him. I also let him know that it was rude to make an appt. with me and then push me off to Manny. I told Selso I was not planning on coming back to the Beaverton Honda dealership because of my first experience and the only reason I came back was because of Selso's enthusiastic optimism to help. Lies. Sure, we all know to be careful of salesmen but this took the cake. Shame on them for taking advantage of someone just to line their own pockets. I know Selso said whatever he had to say to me on the phone several days prior, just to get me in the door. I am incredibly turned off by this whole experience. Listen to your gut and don't let them take advantage of you. In sum, you should listen to your customers especially if you want them to trust you. You should be upfront from the earliest point and not drag people through your b/s games. No matter how you try to defend yourself, you were wrong and you are liars. Never again. You've been warned. Car buying experience - make you sit around forever so a guy can explain the warranty to you and try to upsell you on service plans and other stuff we don't want. Just call it what it is and do this when we negotiate the price of the car. Service dept - very confusing and inefficient. Do i talk to someone when i pull the car in? Do i stop where the sign says to stop? Do i go in this room or that room to talk to someone? So many people directing me to different service departments. They forget to do stuff you ask for and apparently give you written appraisal and written offer to purchase your vehicle from you while you wait for your vehicle to be serviced. All completely unsolicited. I think that is is disgusting. Mail - we keep getting mail saying we qualify to upgrade our vehicle. Thanks for letting us know something we didn't already know. We have the right to purchase a vehicle. That's great news but we will stick with our relatively new and perfectly fine vehicle. read more

I love my car. I've been hooked on Hondas since my first one, a 1985 Civic DX hatchback that I could parallel-park one-handed at 35 MPH in spaces designed for motorcycles -- the perfect car for San Francisco living. My current -- a CR-V -- reflects two things about my journey from that first Honda (which was stolen and stripped... *sob*): 1) after totaling my second Honda on sheet ice in Eastern Montana, I wanted all-wheel drive, and 2) I move a lot, and need to haul huge amounts of *stuff* all over the country, with five cats as (unwilling) passengers. Sure enough, my CR-V has been the perfect work vehicle, the perfect road-trip vehicle, and the perfect balance between decent gas mileage and comfortable functionality (it doesn't exacerbate my back injury, like vehicles lower to the ground do). So when it's time for scheduled maintenance, I tend to take it to the dealer. Alas, St. Johns Honda moved away to BF Beaverton... *grumble*. (I used to be able to drop off the car and walk home.) Hooked up the GPS, headed over Germantown road, deep into the heart of the 'burbs. The entry is confusing. Like 31 Flavors without time for deliberation, because one is shunted into lanes almost immediately upon turning at the service sign. Go figure, I ended up going to "full service" when I should have headed toward "express service". (I knew I should have taken that left toin at Albuquoique!) Note to courteous service staff: when making an appointment over the phone with a client, give them a heads-up, please? At least ask if this is their first visit, yah? Inside the full service bay, numerous desks line the throughway, like concierges at a futuristic drive-through salon. I looked for the usual helpful signs: "start here", "customer service", "customer check-in"... something like that; instead, each desk had the name of its occupant, prominently displayed. I felt a little like midwestern tourists I've seen in P-town, standing nonplussed in front of a restroom labeled "either/or". I picked a concierge at random, introduced myself, told him I had a 4:30 appointment... he told me about the "express service" lane. And then he told me to leave the keys in the car and he'd take the car down... told me where to head to check in. Well, that was nice! I didn't have to take the beast back out into traffic. I walked down, and waited in a short line to check in, seeing my name and appointment time flashing on the computer screen on the desk beside me. Check-in took minutes. I asked for all-synthetic oil with my 45K maintenance; alas, Honda only carries MobilOne (I've boycotted ExxonMobil since the Valdez spill... *sigh.* The sacrifices I make for my baby). Was directed to the waiting lounge. Enter the Twilight Zone. Free internet on their computers, buncha reading fodder, big-screen TV. Free coffee drinks. No one around. All the scene needed was for "Girl from Ipanema" to be playing in the background to lend it that "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" je ne sais quoi. The coffee drink dispenser had a hopper of coffee beans attached; thought I'd try something. Tried the hot chocolate first, for unknown reasons. Tasted like brown water; threw it away in the nearby trash bin (there was a prominent sign on the machine: "tray is NOT a drain". Guess they have a lot of this problem). Tried decaf coffee. Not bad, but the canisters of coffee creamer came with no stir-sticks. I watched as the creamer slowly dissolved into the coffee, feeling surreal and somewhat creeped out. Decided to call a friend who lives in the area, so I didn't end up in the X-files. Pretty much as soon as I left the building, I got a phone call that my car was done -- early. Hung out with friend (he bought me a bubble tea), came back, got hopelessly ensnared in conversation about Macintosh computer systems with the nice guy at the checkout counter (I think he's sold, at this point). Service, as he went over it with me, was thorough and complete. They even rotated the tires. My beloved Honda and I drove away into the sunset, happy. read more

Was told it would be a quick and easy process doing business with them. 45 days later I've still been dealing with them. I went to them instead of a shady dealership because I didn't want the hassle that those came with. To my surprise they are the shadiest dealership I have ever had the displeasure of working with. They didn't disclose the damages my car had when I was looking at it, nor some of the auto loan agreements. They quickly push papers in front of you telling you to sign and rush you out the door. The $1,500 lesson I learned from them was always read before signing, and follow your gut. If something feels sketchy, it probably is. read more

I purchased a new vehicle last year from Beaverton Honda, I have been here about 10 times for maintenance etc. There is always a bit of a wait but I like the waiting area, tv, magazines, plenty of seating and plugs so I can work, quiet, clean and some snacks. First time I came here, staff at the desks weren't very Welcoming and did not know what I was supposed to do or the process and they did not really acknowledge my presence when I came in as they were busy but did not seem concerned. Since then, it had gotten a bit better and usually the staff that I deal with who actually do the maintenance or repair on my car that I speak to are friendly and helpful. They recently changed the process I was told by one of them last time I was there about a month ago. They now come up to your car when you pull up and they do an inspection and go through a checklist with you. Then you are routed to reception. It is more streamlined and organized which I like. Dropped off my 2019 CR-V vehicle 2 weeks ago to get oil changed and for them to look at the driver's seat which has an annoying squeak every time you move your body. Still under warranty. When I picked it up on Saturday Eric, the service technician, said they need to contact Honda USA, about the squeak and said he'd call back first part of following week (dropped off previous friday). Waited until following friday and finally called HIM back. He said they don't have a fix for the seat. I said so I have to live with a crappy driver's seat and he said "yea, I guess so". Called back to speak to the service manager about it and person who answered the phone said she would send him an email to call me back. Have waited over 1 week and still no call from the service manager. Last time I go back for service or to buy another car at Beaverton Honda. read more

I took my car to Beaverton Honda for appraisal early this week and left with my car leather seat cut on the driver's side (Beaverton Honda personnel(s) found the cut - unfortunately I was not there when they inspected the car). Prior going to Beaverton Honda, I had just visited another car dealership for appraisal without any cut reported. I threat my car like another baby and would have (for sure) noticed this cut. my infiniti needed a lot of work done to it. The dealership told me my car was worth nothing and wouldnt give me a trade in value due to the work needing done on it; so they kindly "took it off my hands". I purchased a new car from honda at a crap rate with me putting down over $20k and them not budging on the cost of the cr-v. Come to find out a few days later Honda sold my infiniti an at auction and made $4300 off of it. I was screwed. I was lied to and was told my car was worth nothing. This is directed towards the service department. I've been coming here for about 9 years. I've always been pleased and they've always treated me with a high level of professional integrity, honesty and made me feel welcome. I moved my patronage to Beaverton Honda from another Honda dealership (Larry Miller...now Dick's Honda) years ago after having quite a few negative experiences, both on the purchase of a vehicle and in the service department. I'm on my 2nd Honda Ridgeline and upgraded July 2017 to a "2017" model after having my 2007 Ridgeline for 10 years. I went in for an oil change in April this year and an unintentional incident occurred while having service done there. I immediately brought it to the service manager's attention (Tony) and we discussed several options. When it was all said and done they went above and beyond correcting the issue and making me feel respected and valued in the process. I can not say enough positive things about Tony and his team in the service department. The communication and honesty is top notch and I will gladly give them my business for life - as well as feel comfortable referring anyone else to them. Thank you Beaverton Honda - especially Tony. In a day and age where it seems everyone is ready for a battle on pricing, good service, etc. you all are old fashioned and put me first every single time I come in and truly care about doing the right things, the right way for the right reasons. The purchase experience might be good for most of the people. But the service experience is a disaster especially for the add-on services other than the regular oil change. I have done the full details, 4 wheel alignment, and transmission and brake oil flush(recent). Full details came out with the swirl mark all around the car. The car leans to the right side after the 4 wheel alignment. Recently, they spilled the engine oil, not a little amount. There were a strong oil burn smell. I open up the hood and found the spilled oil on the engine was burning with smoke. Don't recommend to go over there for any services, seriously!! read more

Visited Beaverton Honda today to look at a late model used vehicle. It was disappointing that the only people wearing masks were customers, and there was no effort at risk reduction. Employees at the service desk were sitting close to one another with no masks and no gloves. When we asked to look at the vehicle we had made an appointment to see, two men without masks or gloves went out and drove it back, no wipe down. We really liked the look of the vehicle, but we'd like at least a modest effort at sanitizing. I asked about it, and he said no we don't sanitize them between people or between him driving it and us. I'm not in a high risk group, but I'm a little older, and we just didn't want to take the risk. We were disappointed that they seem to be thumbing their noses at the so social distancing recommendations. read more

As George Costanza once said, "Yeah, right. I'm gonna get my car repaired at a dealership. Why don't I just flush my money down the toilet!" However, due to having to get my airbag replaced for free (recall), I also had them investigate some weird noises while my car was there. They identified two things that needed to be fixed and since I already had to invest $100+ for the diagnosis, I just put that towards the cheaper of the two repairs. Got the other issue fixed at a locally owned shop with excellent service not far away for a margin of the price quoted at Beaverton Honda. I will say that everyone I encountered was nice while I was there, however I could do without the weekly phone calls/emails asking me to call them about my Civic. No I am not going to trade in my perfectly fine, paid-off since 2010 car for a brand new one. Take the hint, I'm gonna run this ol' boy right into the ground! read more
