Had engine work done on my 2017 Santa Fe Sports. My husband got a call and was told the car was ready, so he picked up the car during lunch, drove back to the parking lot near our office, then left the car in the parking lot for the rest of the afternoon and went back to work. My husband came to pick me up around 3:30. I walked downstairs and saw his upset face and was told the car temperature spiked up just while he drove around the block around 350 ft to come get me. Engine light came back up, temperature gauge spiked up 20 seconds after starting the car, and wouldn't shift out of 2nd gear (car has automatic transmission). My husband got on the phone and told the adviser that we had a tight schedule, so he promised to have a rental car ready when we arrive. However, when we got there, no rental car and the adviser kept walking in and out of the office not giving us any update. After 30-minutes, he finally came back and told us they needed to run some more updates on the car and finally got us a rental. Their service department did a poor job on the quality check before handing the car back to us. Luckily, even though we were late, but we did not miss our 5-year-old's graduation party. We were so worried that the car was going to stop in the middle of the freeway and we couldn't get the car to go faster than 45/mph. It was our first major work done at this service center and when we get our car back (hopefully nothing else is wrong), we will not come back and we will try a different location. read more

The staff was kind and attentive not to mention the work done on my car was UNDER the original estimate! How cool. Would have been a great experience if they didn't lie to me, I feel sick to my stomach. They said they were doing a soft inquiry, that my credit score would not be affected, and they did a hard inquiry for a type of car I did not even want. I was looking for a mini SUV, we were approaching hour three of this experience and I was confused, alone, and given a paper to sign for the soft inquiry. They came back with info on a four door sedan, and I received a notification from credit karma that there was a hard inquiry and my score dropped 41 points, for a car I didn't even want, that we didn't even talk about! And they tried to say I could just put the seats down to make room without anyone in the car. I should have known better than to go to a dealership alone as a woman, I guess it's true what they say about car salesmen, they're just going to try to take advantage of you. Horrible! Was asked to bring my car in to see if they could fix my issue quickly (I'm an hour drive away). It wasn't a quick issue so I had to schedule an appointment. Scheduled an appointment. I got sick so I called and rescheduled. Showed up for my appointment and they said it'd take a minimum of 3 hours. Then I was called back up for the them to tell me that they had no record I rescheduled my appointment and it'd take 8 hours to a day to run a diagnostic. All I need is a software update. Beaverton Hyundai must have so much business they can't return phone calls or texts on a simple inquiry what a 30k mile service costs. Their schedulers should have this data to begin with but don't and have to leave a message for someone in service. The last three days I've left two messages, one which promised a call back from the service manager with nothing back in communication. I went on their website and they have a text option to talk to service. ZERO response just as I tried before in 2019. This is first an ineffective way to try and quote anything and lastly just a complete turn off on being able to trust them. Time to find someone who wants my business. read more

So happy I took my car there. Another auto shop told me I needed my back seatbelts replaced at a cost of almost $500. Beaverton Hyundai took 5 minutes to look at my car and demonstrated that they worked perfectly! I had been trying to click them into the wrong part. Wow! They didn't charge me. They also replaced my front brakes and rotors at a cheaper price than the other mechanic. They are quick to greet you and always make me feel that I will be well cared for. I went in to get my SUV looked at under warranty because of a small issue. They said I had to be liable for the inspection (not repair) if the warrant wouldn't cover it. I said I didn't want to be liable for this charge and they refused to do anything. The person at the counter just argued with me and told me how the dealership needs to make money. Clearly arguing with me. Very unprofessional and rude. Some people might say that the owner of a car should be liable for inspection in case the warranty doesn't cover it. Well that sounds like a good deal for the dealership but not the vehicle owner. I have owned 2 other cars, different makes, and have had concerns and the dealership looked over the vehicle without any charges (or liability) to me. My simple work around to deal with this hard to work with dealership was to call Hyundai directly and simply ask for the inspection to be covered. They said no problem, so I scheduled an appointment at a different dealership and a repair was made with the warranty covering it. That dealership made money and had a happy customer, business 101 that Beaverton Hyundai should learn from. I should note that this happened months ago and I specifically wanted to wait so that I wouldn't make a post just out of anger. Beaverton Hyundai either lies a lot or doesn't know the products and services that they sell, most likely both. We bought a brand new Hyundai from them in May of 2022. The sales guy told us the vehicle had features which it does not. The floor manager, sales associate, and the finance manager all separately gave us false information on both the included warranties and the added, third-party warranties that we purchased. We spoke with both the general sales manager and general manager and they continued to give us false information about the included Hyundai warranties. The general sales manager then started sending us spam sales emails that had nothing to do with our issues. All of the people we dealt with were extremely friendly but I wouldn't believe anything any of them says. They often changed their story from one moment to the next. If you must buy a car from them, do not do a trade-in (you won't get anywhere near what your vehicle is worth), do not buy any extras from them (third-party warranties and services are less expensive, better in general, and more transparent elsewhere), know exactly what you're looking for and what it should cost before you get there (they don't know their products or just don't care about being honest). Read everything you sign thoroughly and make sure every dollar is accounted for, if you let them, they will absolutely take advantage of you. read more

This is for the service dept. Their "Quicklube" service has been fine for us. IN and out quickly reasonable price, more than a Jiffy lube type place, but we know we are getting factory standard service. 4 stars for that. We needed a radiator replacement and some body work done due to a collision with flying road debris. After the insurance was worked out it took 3 weeks for the work to get done1 week for the parts to get there. Ok. Then two weeks with nothing getting done while they waited for a part to get painted. It was a bit surreal at times. I would call for an update and my rep would be on a day off and no one could tell what was going on, couldn't access the data. Weird. I felt no one actually cared about giving fast efficient service until I wrote the the service manager. After that I got regular communication and felt some urgency. However my part still languished at the body shop until they finally did something effective. Switched shops and it was done in a day. The work done was quality. Getting there a surprisingly bad experience. Bottom line. Quicklube service good, but if you want fast, efficient professional service on a more major repair probably best to look elsewhere. Especially if you are needing to rent a car. read more

Regarding MELISSA and sales team at BH. Gross Disrespect / Unprofessionalism. Need for immediate improvement from sales team. My observations: Salesperson does not have authority to state the company "does not need your business" based on customer needs. Salesperson does not follow up from initial visit with demeaning attitude or speech. Salesperson is monitored on sales performance and customer service both of which were not provided in any fashion. Sorry to say MELISSA in particular is unfortunately unfit for car sales. Need for more developed communication skills / interpersonal relations at minimum. Very honest attempt at running a business - however salespersons are not aligned with best interest company - most likely informal malpractice. Management will take action after so many reviews. I had an 11:45am service appt, but when I checked in for it the gentleman at the desk said his whole crew was leaving for lunch at noon and they wouldn't even get to my car until 1pm, with a finish by two. It was a simple oil change/tire rotation. (Not sure why you even had 11:45am as an appointment time if EVERYONE leaves for lunch at the same time. ) The gentleman who checked me in explained all I needed done at my mileage so instead of thinking I was gonna pay over $300 that day, he showed me I only needed a $70 tune up. Grateful for that considering it's the holidays and money is tight. He gave me regular updates on my car. Turned out one of my tires had a huge nail in it and needed to be patched. Explained that they patch from inside out for more thorough job but that crew had hard time removing my wheel. Repair dragged on until @ 3pm! When it was FINALLY completed, gentlemen up front apologized profusely for the wait. Said he had no excuses for it and would not charge me a penny for the work. I respected so much that he took responsibility for his crew's failure. I appreciated that he took immediate ownership of the problem, apologized and made things right for me without any hesitation. I believe he did everything in his power to under the circumstances beyond his control to give me the best service he could. I intend to continue having my car serviced at your dealership solely because of this young man, but I certainly hope you get a better, more responsible crew for him to work with!! read more

Just made my first purchase from here. First the good they were friendly and had good communication thru the process. The salesman KC was a pleasure to deal with and found me the exact car i was looking for. I would recommend him to anyone. So why 3 stars? 3 stars is not bad its just not great and here is why. #1 the showroom is by far in need of an upgrade and not the experience i see in other hyaundai , toyota, or even chevy showrooms. the only way to describe it is ITS a CAR LOT. #2 one thing everyone hates about car buying is negotiation. And baby they will negotiate every dime they can from you. I went in there looking to pay market price for my car and asked for market trade in for mine. After all they need to make money too. And they made me play the game.. hate the game! they finally realized that i was going to leave and they gave me the "deal" which was actuality market price. That unfortunate exchange changed the way I thought about this place. but this is not a bad review. just a "do your research" review. then go in and see KC. after all this i will still recommend him to others. I purchased a vehicle from this company recently. When I came home and checked the fluids, the automatic transmission oil was black. Both the struts and shocks needed replacing (one rear shock was completely non-functional). At the time of purchase, they had given me only one key. The cost of the replacement of the transmission fluid, an additional key, and replacement of the shocks and struts total $1,290. When I talked with the manager, he was dismissive, defensive, and attempted to humiliate me for even complaining. There is a standard of care that every company should have in selling items to the public. I don't believe that concept has sunk in to the management of this company. read more

I went in and got my oil changed and checked my battery for my car. I like their services, but it was to expensive for my battery . The battery was $280. I called the NW Battery to found out the the prices and it was so much cheaper than Beaverton Hyundai. So I went to the NW battery and had them checked out my battery and it was perfectly fine until next year. I was so thrill and so happy that NW Battery was so helpful and very honest with me. Thanks to my mom who safe my life. I would differently and suggest that everyone should go to the NW Battery for check up or get new battery there for way cheaper and reasonable price. If I could give 0 stars I would. Brought in for "engine recall". Car was fine 65,000 miles on it. Never a problem EVER! Recall was fine and they "updated 2 codes". Came home and got back in car to run some errands and the engine light and emission lights were on. Was told to bring car back in. Made appt and the next morning car breaks down on the 26. Take it immediately back I'm told there's now an error code in the transmission that's needs updating. Get a call saying $4000 for new transmission and warranty won't cover it. Manager said it's coincidence all this happened days after they had it. Took to 2 mechanics that wouldn't touch it because the codes coming up are something they've never seen before. Reluctantly took to another Hyundai dealership and guess what? They messed up my transmission and IT IS covered under the warranty! They are liars and cheats. I have the paperwork showing it! Thx to the other dealership my car is 100% again. Will be writing Hyundai and the Better Business Bureau and anyone else that asks. I'd stay far away from these guys! Do not buy a car from here. They sold me a car that was not ready for DEQ. Check engine light has come on not once, but TWICE since I've bought it. When they finally fixed the issue for the DEQ, they kept the car in dealer stock and told me to go to the DMV to get the tags. I ended up having to eat a 36 dollar loss to get another travel permit from them so I could legally drive. Turns out, when I went back to the dealer, they did that on purpose so they could get more money by giving me temporary tags themselves. Absolutely ridiculous. This is all in about 2.5 months. The individuals at the dealership went above and beyond to secure the vehicle my wife had her heart on. The whole team took excellent care of me and provided great communication throughout the buying process when they tried to locate the vehicle we were looking for. We got a really good deal on a vehicle with not a lot of back-and-forth. I had a very bad experience with this company and their service manager yesterday 2/14/17. I dropped off my car on Thursday for service and to check a few things out while I was out of town on a business trip. I missed a call on Friday while I was on an airplane. Once I landed it was too late to call so I called back on Saturday. Only to find out that my service rep was off for the day and left no notes as to why he called for anyone else to follow up on. I then asked what is the next step. I'm told they will try to call Stephen at home but could not guarantee he would answer so it would have to wait until Monday. On Monday I waited for a call until my lunch break at work. I called in only to get a voicemail. I then waited until I got off of work to call again only again to get a voicemail. I called back and asked the receptionist if I could get a "live" person to talk with. She responded that they were "really busy". I said "I left my car there 4 days ago and haven't heard a word". "How busy can you be?" She then put me on hold to go talk to Brandon. Now I have worked with Brandon in the past and have been very happy with his service. When she returned she informed me that they still had not come up with an answer to the noise that my car was making but would call me the next day, Tuesday. On Tuesday, I once again did not get a call. I had to call in again at my lunch and got voicemail again. Once again had to speak to the receptionist and she put me on with the Service Manager Dan. This guy proceeds to tell me the issue and that it is going to be roughly $1000.00. This does not irritate me. When I tell him that I'm going to have to wait on that, but would like to pick up my car. He proceeds to tell me that I owe for an Oil Change. #1 - I just had my oil changed a week ago with full synthetic oil that cost be about $70.00 - why would I need to do it again with a blend? #2 - More importantly - No one ever cleared the charge with me or discussed the process with me. #3 - When I pick up my car and complain about the entire process. Rather that validate me, Dan decides to threaten me with future charges. Instead of agreeing with me over $40.00 he decides to tell me in the future that I will need to pre-sign for $129.00 no matter the problem weather warranty applies or not. Where in the world did this guy come from. I have been in sales and service for 25 years and have never threatened a customer. Wouldn't he have been better served to say yes Mr. Customer I'm sorry for all the inconvenience I will help you out and in the future we will call be for doing any service that you will be charged for? The sad thing is that I have been with this dealership for 5 years and now my car is coming off of warranty and I will be needing to spend more money for up keep. But then while the customer service was very nice, it all took forever - 5.5 hours instead of 2 and then they didn't do everything either. The guy behind the accessories counter first ignored me, then blew me off - after 5.5 hours there I was not going to spend more money there then too. Not going back there I think. Update April 2017: That oil pan that I went there to have fixed and that resulted in the above review got installed badly and is seeping. Again. So I have to go back to have it fixed. Again. We weren't planning on purchasing a vehicle but Brian showed us the 2022 Hyundai Tucson in the color that was beautiful and the features inside this vehicle including the panoramic sunroof is what made the sale for us and Brian helped us get the price that we were comfortable with. This post is long overdue. Normally when I receive exceptional customer service I post about it or tell people to go see this person or go to this place. I believe that things like this should be shared widely and rewarded. This post is about my multiple experiences with Travis Taylor at Beaverton Hyundai. Back in early 2019 I was negotiating a new car with another dealership. Well that deal went sideways which left me in a potentially bad spot. I made a call to Beaverton Hyundai and I was transferred to Travis. I told him what was going on, what I wanted and how I was hoping to structure the deal. He responded, "Give me 30 minutes. I will call you back." He called within that timeframe and said they could do the deal and they had exactly what I was seeking coming in on a truck in the next week or so. The vehicle came in and the deal was signed. I was very pleased. Since then I sent my girlfriend to him and she received the same excellent service and drove home in a new vehicle. About a year later she talked to him again and he helped her trade up a model year and also a higher trim level for very little money. Next I sent a coworker to him who ran him through the wringer but he helped him into a new vehicle and the deal was just what he asked for. Four sales that ended up with satisfied customers. A few weeks ago I contacted him and said I was looking for a new truck. I looked and found a nice GMC Sierra they had. I asked about it and within a day or two he worked an amazing deal with me. Now here's the amazing part, he doesn't get paid for selling anything on the used lot. He just did it to help me. He also came down on his day off to be there when I took delivery.
