One of the sweetest bartender Dino who makes excellent drinks!
Sandra S.

Great drinks, service and brick oven pizza here! Dino the bartender was superb! He makes excellent drinks and he is one of the sweetest! The restaurant is very lucky to have him. We tried the robiola pizza & it was so delicious and unique! I have never had a pizza like this and the cheese & truffle oil with the arugula was heavenly!

This white sauce, mozzarella, fresh tomatoes, & bails pizza is to die for. Highly recommend!

Don't pay attention to any of the mediocre reviews you may encounter on Yelp! On a hot summer night, my girlfriends/I decided to go out for a pizza & beer to cool off the & Pizza & beer sounded perfect for an impromptu gathering. Around 8:30 PM on the weeknight, the restaurant was busy with diners & we were seated promptly. We ordered a typical Margarita pizza & Caesar salad , & beers to start & quickly finished up all but still were hungry. Our friendly, personable, & awesome server , Giovanni, recommended the white pizza with mozzarella, tomatoes, & basils, one of the house specialties. Oh my god, it was really delicious! We finished up the 2nd pizza literally less than 2 minutes, lol, & we all each had two bottles of beers. Thanks, Giovanni for the recommendation & extra calories, lol! We could go on eating more pizzas but we felt enormously guilty after consuming so much calories that we decided to stop for the night! The restaurant is very family friendly, located right off the Lexington just a block north from the 6 train stop , 68th Street on the beautiful Upper East Side residential neighborhood. Recommend, for great pizza, beers, wines, & friendly staff. We will go back to try their other authentic Italian pasta & mouth watering deserts ext time!

Margherita Pizza & Lexington Pizza

Been here twice & each time has been great. We sat outside and it's the perfect spot to enjoy a meal and people watch! It's also a great ambiance, they set the table with white tablecloths & it elevates the vibe so much. We ordered the Margarita pizza & Lexington pizza and shared it for lunch! Amazing pizza

Was trying to find a pizzeria with pasta. When we arrived on a Sunday around 4PM, we were exhausted from walking and wanted a good pizza. Unfortunately once we got comfortable, we were informed by or server that the pizzaiolo was on break and wouldn't be back until after 5PM. We were disappointed since we already picked out our pizza choices. There were only 2 tables with customers so we can sit anywhere. The server brought us bread basket and marinara sauce. The sauce perfectly complimented the bread which was soft with a crunchy crust. We had to check out the pasta menu and decided on: - Pappardelle al Ragu d' Anatra e Olive nere which is Homemade Pappardelle, Wild Duck Ragu and Black Olives. It was not a big dish though it's delicious and hits the spot. - Mezzelune di Ricotta e Spinaci alla Crema Tartufata which is Ricotta and Spinach Ravioli, Black Truffle Cream Sauce. It was great though a bit heavy for me though my friend said it was terrific. There is one restroom for the women's and it's clean. Definitely worth a try.

Fine spot in UES for some decent Italian food. Everything we had was pretty good including calamari, burrata, meatballs, and a calabrese pizza. Main issue is that it's a bit too pricey for what you get. There are better options out there for the same or lower cost. Outdoor seating is pretty solid and the indoors was very pretty. Definitely not telling you not to go, just don't expect it to be your new favorite restaurant in the city.

We walked in, were sat and handed menus. 10 minutes later we left. The wait staff was standing at the bar and never even acknowledged us.

I went here once and the waiter kept hitting on my date. Haha. Food was good. But because of that they get 1 star.

My father is a unassuming 70 year old man in a business suit. I have never seen him treated with such disrespect.

The pasta was al dente perfection and most importantly there were generous sauce portions. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and personable. I dined with a friend and we ordered 3 pastas instead of an appetizer (fantastic choice). We tried the following dishes: *Garganelli Mushroom Ragu and Ricotta Salata. This was by far our favorite dish. It was bursting with flavor, had tons of sauce and cheese and was perfectly cooked. If you enjoy mushroom you MUST order this!! *Tagliatelle Bolognese Bianco (Chicken, Veal, Pork) and Parmigiano. Which was so delicious and has plenty of meat and sauce. The tagliatelle was amazing and tasted to fresh. *Bucatini with Pancetta, Tomato, Chilies and Pecorino. We thought this was good but our least favorite dish of the 3. Honorable mention to the spaghetti that my friend had at her last visit. She said it was fresh and delicious but almost too rich which she mostly owned to it being a white sauce.

We started with the housemade focaccia and Wagyu carpaccio--both were outstanding, with the perfect balance of crispy, flavorful, and fresh elements. My partner and I shared the pasta, hangar steak, and potatoes, which turned out to be the ideal amount for two. We finished with the famous olive oil cake, which we loved for its subtly sweet, moist and tender bite. Served with lightly whipped cream and raisins, the combination was surprisingly delicious. We were also touched by the complimentary anniversary scoop of ice cream. The interior seating is a bit snug, but the decor is beautiful--elegant yet homey. The service was good as well. Overall, we highly recommend L'Artusi for a special night out!

Water and excellent bread arrived immediately and the waiter was helpful describing dishes and giving advice. Salads were fresh and crisp. Caesar was nicely dressed and the mixed salad was a nice combination with well balanced herb vinaigrette. Seafood dishes had large amounts of fresh seafood and the veal picatta had the lemony flavor you expect without excessive acidity. Dessert was tasty and innovative. The ricotta based cheese cake wasn't as smooth as the cream cheese form but the citrus flavor was great. Throughout the meal water and bread were refilled, plates from completed courses removed and next delivered without being overly hovering. All in all a really great meal.

It works especially well for a mixed group since they have plenty of options including dishes without meat and everyone can find something. Even my picky niece and nephew were happy. My favorite entree is the Capellini Puttanesca, with capers, olives, basil, and anchovies. It's super tasty, satisfying, and the perfect portion. I also love that they offer wine by the glass and the service is consistently attentive. The waiters are always moving through the room, checking tables, refilling water, and making sure people have what they need. It's good, reliable, and near Broadway.
