I didn't have to make any adjustments to the wrap as it comes with chickpea hummus, sautéed cremini mushrooms, red and yellow peppers, fresh spinach, zucchini and sliced carrots wrapped in a spinach tortilla. There are several sides to choose from as well. I also mentioned I was vegan/dairy free to ensure there were no additional animal products not listed in the description. I would 100% order this dish again. There is a QR code upon entering that you may scan to view the menu, which made ordering easier. Date got his Chicken Caesar wrap with sweet potato fries. Everything was fresh, the hemp brownie isn't as sweet or as rich in taste & texture which is great if you're not too big on sweets! Starting with the waitstaff not paying attention (literally had her head turned to watch what was happening behind her instead of taking the order) The floor of the main dining room dirty and sticky. The beverage cups cracked and leaking when I dispensed my drink and the staff just staring. Our Empanada starter was very tough - as if microwaved too long. There was no crunch. The cold chicken salad entree and cold side were presented on a plate that was oven hot. I've not had a hot meal on a plate that hot Then the server decided it was time to clean off an empty dining room of tables by starting with their spray bottle right next to our table. It's especially a great place for meeting as a large group as it's seldom crowded and has lots of space, plus you can hear everyone in your group talk (not noisy here, great ambient volume). Appalling. I'm writing this review to communicate an appalling and humiliating incident that occurred between my wife and the supposed manager during Mother's Day. During this incident, Christian, the manager showed no empathy and no tact in the way he communicated with my wife. My wife was left speechless with his response to her after my 2 year old accidentally spilled the contents of a floral vase (bleach) on my 4 month old. After bringing up her concern and questions about the bleach, he dismissively said, "well, who was playing with the vase" as to blame a 2 year old little girl for wanting to touch the flowers in the middle of a table. After returning to the table with the phone number of his general manager, my wife told him how unbelievably rude and insensitive his previous comment had been. To which he replied, "well, I didn't know if you wanted us to pay for your car seat." At no point did my wife ask for anyone to pay for any of the damage. It was an accident that occurred after a curious toddler grabbed a floral in the middle of the table! And yet he had the nerve to treat us a certain way because he assumed we were going to ask for him to pay for something! My wife was in shock with his continued rude comments and lack of concern. It was Mother's Day for goodness sake and for him to speak to my wife in such a way was unacceptable. She asked for our food to be packed up so we can leave immediately. We left the restaurant humiliated and in anger with the lack of empathy shown by Christian the manager. If you ordered a burger (or if you just like sour condiments), help yourself to the fresh pickle bar. I was happy to see my go-to, the Veggie Nut burger, was still on the new menu. The house-made patty puts many vegetarian burgers to shame with a rich and savory blend of chickpeas, nuts, seeds, potatoes, and vegetables. Let me say that when this was just Ruggles the food was delicious- just as good as the other locations. I was stoked when the Woodlands location opened up. I never had one complaint about one menu item. Their spicy shrimp pasta, hempanadas (yes hemp, made of hemp flour), and shrimp tacos were my favorite. The white chocolate bread pudding was- PHE-NOM-E-NAL! Matter fact, it was the only bread pudding I'd actually eat. Everyone else's would be too gummy or have fruit in it for some reason. But theirs- breathe taking. Customer service was always great, and your food would come out quickly as well. Of course if you get paper wet it starts to come apart, so it was in my wife's drink. It only took me one sip to realize how stupid they are. I'm usually a creature of habit and stick to their fried goat cheese salad 10/10! But tonight I tried their new cauliflower Wings. They were delicious. It was like eating General Tso chicken. We looked over the menu,which had so many scrumptious choices it took forever to decide what to order. We decided to get the shrimp and crab pasta and the kale Caesar salad to share. My girlfriend ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio and we also had 2 fountain drinks. Our total came to $37 which for lunch and drinks is a pretty great deal in my book. We sat outside in the beautiful open space. I love that it's semi shaded so you're not bombarded by bright rays in your face while trying to enjoy your meal. Our food came out in about 10 minutes and was hot and delicious. I love the contrast of the kale salad. Crunch from croutons, a tart kick from the capers, and the pickled onions were superb. Our pasta was delicious and the fact that the noodles were short was a plus. Nothing worse than enjoying lunch and realizing you have pasta sauce all over you from slurping long linguine or fettuccini noodles. I love the atmosphere and the vast menu of this place. The desserts are the perfect indulgence with the right amount of sugar to get all the sweet tooth drooling. And satisfied. Every time we go there, we order the hempandas. It's a must-have. The crust is nutty and almost as delish as the golden raisins mingled in with the ground meat. Perfection to the crisp. We love their pizzas (especially the veggie one) and their seasonal menus. Their fish tacos are to DIE for. If you sign up for their newsletter, you get a free dessert for your birthday month. I definitely say to go for the chocolate brownie. Amazing. Enough said. My overall impression is oddly mixed but not necessarily bad. I think this is a perfect lunch spot but if you're looking for a relaxing dinner night out it may not fit. The place is clean, the food pretty good and the prices are decent. I like the menu which offers not just sandwiches and pizza but other meals like baked chicken and pastas. You order at the counter when you walk in and then find your seat. There isn't table service with the exception they do bring your food when it's ready. You get your own drinks, condiments, silverware etc. I don't mean this in a bad way,,, I wouldn't come here on date night but I would if I brought the whole family or for lunch.
