One of my frequent go-tos. This is the spot that I ask people to meet me at for the majority of my coffee dates. (Only possible at low-ish traffic times, because seating is pretty limited, but I usually get lucky and am able to snag the window seat). Their medicinal mushroom drink is usually my first choice; sometimes I'll browse their tea menu instead. Only complaint is they're pretty sparing with honey, given it has to last for a whole pot of tea. Acai bowl is good if you want cold. I've tried their hot bowls; pretty good, but ultimately a bit pricey. Always love places I can find tempeh (rarer than it should be!). This is a gem of a business, glad to see it thriving. read more

The vibe is perfect if you are looking for the San Francisco/Mission District hippie culture. The staff is super nice. Their smoothie bowl was pretty delicious, though abnormally expensive. Slow. This can be a good thing if you're expecting it. Take your time to enjoy the gorgeous atmosphere, indoor and outdoor seating, lovely staff and sweet tasteful music. I ordered the quinoa roasted veg salad, an almond milk chai and the Golden Shield juice. Everything is made from scratch, so it took 30 minutes from when I ordered it. There were three other patrons there and each order is made slowly with a great deal of care. Warning, the quinoa salad has a VERY spicy chipotle aoli. I could only eat it after I managed to scrape most of it out of the salad. The tiny cakes are phenomenally delicious, but another warning. Check their price first. I am obsessed with this cute cafe. I'm not used to being surprised by new items at juice bars, but half of their menu was entirely new to me. The Stuffed Delicata Squash was out of this world and the Blueberry Restorer was the perfect post-workout blend and with no less than 6 milk options!? I'm also particularly excited to try the unique coffee/tea options, which I haven't seen anywhere else. I stopped by this cafe today after my covid vaccine.. was a cute little cafe with rustic decor .. nice copper utensils with spices and cute little kettles on the display made me try their homemade chai. Omg the smell was sooo awakening and tasted so good. The veggie quinoa bowl was yummilicious . Loved the crunch of wild rice in a well cooked quinoa bowl. Ask for the sprouted nut hummus add on .. yum yum yum.. The lady at the counter who also prepares the food was very friendly .. gosh I now miss working at the city !!! read more

She pointed my friend to the register because there's maple syrup there?? Then she offered honey and my friend said that would be great but she decided to roll her eyes and just give my friend a plastic spoon to stir it in herself? I love this place. All the food and drink are high quality and made with the clear intention of healthy nourishment. The ambience is a wonderful blend of new-age natural comfort--crystals and gems are hidden about, the counter is a beautiful live edge slab of wood, plants and vines fill in the nooks. It's an intimate spot with seating for only 10 people or so, which results in the only downside in that I sometimes have to order takeout instead of eating there. read more

Adorable quaint all plant based cafe in the mission district. Husband had the hummus bowl and I had the granola bowl. Hummus was fresh and the wild rice mix it was served with was delicious. My granola bowl was mixed with fruit and served with house made cashew milk. Reason for one star docked is the service, it took a about 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us, and even after we found a seat at the window seating, we had to go up to the counter to order. Perhaps we needed to check in with the employees right away, not sure because it wasn't apparent whether someone would come to us, or we needed to go to the counter. Also, the cup of milk is served ala cart with the granola, and was barely enough to fill the bowl half way. I had to ask for a second glass in order to finish my bowl, and glad I did since their house made but milks are delicious! I'm honestly extremely upset at how misled I was by the community of yelp. Went here with a friend & we ordered smoothie bowls -- it was after a workout class okay. We were 2 of 5 customers TOTal in the shop and it took 45 MINUTES to get us our smoothie bowls. I did ask for extra almond butter but I can assure you that's not what did it. Great concept and super cute interior is what my review is giving the three stars for. Actually never got to order anything before leaving. Probably should have more than one person working on a Sunday morning around 11:00 am! The girl that was working did say "Hi" when she walked by from delivering teas but never addressed us again. We waited about 5-7 min then left. A "so sorry be with you in a few minutes" would've been sufficient for us to wait longer to order. She went straight back to making food and so eventually we decided to come back another time. Will give it another try but there was only I say 7 people inside who most had drinks already and we were kind of ignored. Totally understand this is a new business and the quirks are still being worked out so hopefully next time will be better! UPDATE: the co-owner made it right. 5 stars for food/ambiance; 1 star for service. I came to this cafe upon the high recommendations of 2 friends. Although small and a bit cramped, the vibe is cozy and the decor is to die for! I had the quinoa bowl which was UHHH-MAZING, and I know I'll have dreams about in the future. The service, however, I experienced as lacking. The lady who waited on me was super friendly and attentive to the couple ahead of me in line - I even heard her say to them, "You can pay now or later, whichever" before they sat down at the bar. Then it was my turn to order. After giving the cashier my order, I asked, "Do I pay now, or later?" as I was going to eat at the bar. "Whichever," she answered, a bit dismissively. I took my seat at the end of the bar and waited patiently for my food. After about 20 minutes, she brought me my quinoa bowl - "And here's your fork," she said - but did not offer me a napkin or glass of water. I looked at the other 6-7 customers seated next to me at the bar - every single one of them had a napkin and glass of water. I looked around the bar, thinking perhaps it was self-serve for those items, but no clean glasses or napkins were to be found. When I finally could get the cashier/server's attention again (10 minutes later), I asked her politely for a glass of water. "Sure," she said, and walked off. But instead of bringing me a glass of water, she proceeded to take others' orders at the register. At least 5 minutes went by, and no glass of water arrived. Finally, I was able to snag the attention of one of the OTHER workers and ask, politely, for a napkin and glass of water, and she gave them to me right away. I watched several people enter and chat with the same lady who'd taken my order at the register, and she was, again, super friendly to them, taking their orders literally over my head as I was seated at the end of the bar by the door (instead of at the register, where I'd ordered). She even asked one of them, "Would you like a glass of water?" WTF! I'm not sure if the cashier lady was intentionally ignoring me, but given I'd observed her being super attentive to several other customers and not at all to me, I can't help but surmise she was, for whatever reason. Regardless, she did a poor job of serving me. I'd love to give this cafe another chance as the food was so great as was the atmosphere, but if I walk in and the same lady is at the cash register (blonde hair, buzzcut), I will walk right back out. read more

I had just got out of a doctors appointment in the mission and I was hungry and thought this place looked really charming, which it does, it's small but very decorative and cute and the menu looked very good. BUT they must have been understaffed or something on this day because I had to wait literally 2 HOURS for a mushy bowl of berries. Which is completely unacceptable. I could tell the staff felt bad (there were only two of them) but there were SEVERAL people that ordered after me that got their orders first while I had to wait 2 hours when all I ordered was a fucking bowl of berries. This is a tiny little cafe that takes enormous care in everything they make. From coconut milk to their own yogurt, I can always be assured that I'm eating a clean meal or bite or drink. The service is very friendly, although due to the size and deserved increase in popularity, it can be a challenge to find seating when they're busy.
