my sister wanted to check out this place bc it's on yelps top 100 places to eat and super local to us and im so glad we did! We got the cali bowl and the berry bowl! both were so amazing and filled generously. our favorite base was the pitaya! i would loveee to try to mango base next time~ the toppings were paired so well with each other! and so densely packed so you are definitely getting your moneys worth! i loved the vanilla chia pudding and want to try the matcha next time service was fine, the girls were very thorough in taking our order! as for the inside, there are a few tables to sit at. i wish there was some seating outside bc it's very cold inside (the AC was ON and i was shivering lol) but this is just my preference~ read more

Berry Brand açaí bowls are my fave! I was pleasantly surprised to find their new location since I enjoyed their previous location at the Tustin District a few years ago! I loveeeeee all the unique options to choose from! You can mix and match all the different bases, chia puddings (matcha, vanilla, coconut), fruits, granola, seeds, powder toppings, almond/peanut butter, etc. Toppings are unlimited so you can get everything you want. You can also choose from a premade menu. I've never left here unsatisfied with the taste or quality! There are a few tables indoors, a restroom, random little things for purchase (stickers, croc charms), and a fun photo op with a cute pink phone which was at their previous location. The staff has always been attentive and helpful! Berry Brand is located in a small shopping center with a shared free parking lot. I've never had any issues with parking availability at any time of the day. read more

This is my favorite acai bowl place! I use to go to their old location at the Tustin District but since they moved, I come to this location now. I always get the ube dream and coconut dream (this is the more creamy combination flavors they have). I love their chia seed pudding flavors so i get the vanilla and matcha chia pudding. I love that they have a variety of fruits such as apples, strawberries, blueberries, and bananas. I get their granola, all the seeds, cacao nibs, goji berry, mulberries, and almonds. They also have different powders and honey/agave toppings. Everything just tastes so well together and theyre very generous with their portions. Their workers are always really nice and accommodating. They have about 3 indoor seating. Its more of a takeout shop but the plaza does have some seating in the back. read more

The ice flavors here are superb. Not super sweet, and served at the perfect temperature. Fruits are sliced fresh right in front of you. And you can build your own bowl! I tried the pandan and ube, both are worth a try if you're into those flavors. I also added coconut chia pudding on top. There are only two options for butters; almond or peanut butter. We ordered and got our bowls within 5 minutes. They have really fast service, and the workers are very friendly and even offer samples. It's really clean inside and has about 3 tables of seating. And there's plenty of parking in the plaza. read more

I've done it! I've found my favorite açaí place in OC. Being from SD, it's hard to find a place that matches that SD açaí bowls, but this place is amazing. I found the place through yelp and am so glad I went to give it a try. It was pretty empty on a Monday morning at 10 and parking is super accessible (it's in a little shopping center). I did a build your own bowl with açaí and Ube and chia Matcha. The ube itself deserves its own post. It was so tasty, the perfect amount of sweetness and thickness. What a unique base for an açaí place. You get unlimited toppings and can ask for extra without charge (including peanut butter which is pretty rare)! My other favorite edition was that there was matcha powder as a topping. I love matcha and wish they also had a base that wasn't chia, similar to the ube. I wish this place was next to my house, I would go everyday. I got the medium size for $12. Very generous portioning! read more

I LOVE berry brand!! the acai is so good, thick but not icy, not too sweet, and their almond butter??? top tier. I drive out from HB even though I live down the street from another acai place bc it's that worth it. the workers are the sweetest humans ever, and the inside is soooo cute, it makes me happy just being there. also the workers all seem genuinely happy to be there, which says a lot. alsoooo x2 lol very random but they have a board inside that changes to the song title whenever the music changes, and it's so cool!! idk why I'm always so intrigued by it but i love it. it's such a feel good spot if you need a little sweet treat, want somewhere cute to sit and chill, or even need a cute lil date spot. 10/10 recommend!! read more

I enjoyed this acai place because they offer some simple options if you don't know what to order. They also have the option to build your own with the help of their workers. This location offered some unique flavors that you don't see at other acai places: ube and pandan, if you're into these flavors. I had the Pandan with acai. I'll be honest I wasn't sure how the flavors would mix but it was actually really good. My sister ordered the ube and had coconut flakes. I'm not an ube fan, but this was def good. I can only imagine if you mix the ube with the pandan how would be. The inside was clean and had a few tables. There was a wall that was scrolling with the titles of the music that played. Pretty neat. read more

This is your next favorite place for acai bowls!! What a great place to get a nutritious and delicious dessert. Parking is super easy out in the parking lot. Always a lot of empty spots. There are spacious indoor seating available. Megan and alexia were working that day and they had great hospitality. I was able to build my own acai bowl with a coconut dream base, which is so delicious. It kind of looks like a cotton candy colored base. We also tried the cali bowl, a classic. They have preset options if you do not want to create your own ball, but they have so many options for different types of base, including matcha, oats, strawberry, mango, coconut, ube, etc. The best thing about this place is that they have unlimited toppings that you can add onto your bowl. Thee best açaí ever. You choose your tasty base and any and all toppings. There are plenty to choose from. Everything tastes like quality ingredients. The workers are all friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is creatively inviting. The Vestaboard changes with every song which adds to the quaint touch of this place. It's absolutely adorable inside. Photo ops are a must especially by the old-school phone. The bathroom is so clean and nice, too. Grocery Outlet is next door, so you can do some shopping afterwards. I highly recommend! read more

Overall a refreshing Açaí experience! Berry Brand does essentially a build your own Açaí Bowl Style choosing from many bases & unlimited toppings! The Açaí & Ube Dream were definitely my favorites although they were very sweet! Very clean and delicious presentation of strawberries, blueberries, & Bananas along with various crunchy toppings! Arrived on a Saturday around 3 PM, and they weren't too busy, and we were promptly helped. The bowls are cheaper than other Acai places in the area, with the small 9oz container at $9. Quite refreshing, and they let you make your own bowl easily. Literally, choose whatever you want, and however much of everything, and they will give it to you. They have lots of different bases (ask for taste test!), and you can also get unlimited toppings. Of course it has to fit in the size bowl that you order. Overall, delicious, refreshing, and good quality! They have a cool wall thing that lets you know what the current song they're playing is. Overall, a reasonably priced acai spot. read more

Love love love love Berry Brand so much!!! Not only do they offer a variety of acai bowls to choose from (or you can customize your own!), but there are also so many toppings to choose from. This place is definitely an acai bowl lover's dream! What I love about this place is that you're allowed to sample their acai "base" so that you really love your bowl. After trying three different flavors, I ordered the Berry Bowl and I was so happy with it! It came with pitaya chai seed pudding, strawberries, bananas, and blueberries. I also added a peanut butter drizzle and agave on top! Everything in one bite tasted absolutely amazing and I can't wait to be back. My friends loved this place as well. I'm definitely taking my out-of-town acai bowl loving best friend here next month because Berry Brand has definitely provided me with a positive first time experience! I've never had an acai style bowl with an ube base before so I wanted to give it a try. I got a sample of the ube and matcha bases and they were good but a little too sweet alone. I decided to create my own bowl and got the ube base, vanilla chia pudding, granola, almonds, cacao nibs, berries, and almond butter. It was $9 plus tax for 12oz. The tartness from the berries really balanced out the sweetness from the base and I really enjoyed it! The only reason I took off half a star was because it was icy! I bit down hard on small ice cubes inside the base and that was off-putting. Other than that, the girls were nice and I would come back. read more

Love this place! We came here on our way to the SNA airport. If you live in the area, it is conveniently located next to the grocery outlet and there is ample parking in the plaza. The decor is so cute and happy. We love the details and small touches that really elevate the place. There is even a really cool modernized retro-type board on the wall that changes to tell you the name of the song playing! My husband even said there was poo-pouri in the bathroom. There were 2 employees there and they were nice and friendly. They explained that we could create our own bowl or they had preset bowls that we could choose from and customize. We even got a chance to meet the owners, and they were so warm and welcoming! We ordered: -The Energy Bowl: This was my favorite and had a great matcha flavor. - Ube Dream: This was my husband's favorite and loves ube. -Matcha Oat Latte- Great Matcha strength with a nice subtle oat flavor. Stoked that this spot is so close to our neighborhood now! Visited this weekend with some family who know the owners, and it was not just friendly but so delicious! The staff were incredibly kind and helped explain the BYO process and each ingredient. The fruit was all super fresh and I'm jealous because my strawberries are never so crisp! We got a 12 oz bowl with açaí and pitaya, all the fruits, mulberries, goji berries, and a smattering of toppings. It was all very fresh and not too sweet, which is obviously the next compliment for a dessert spot. The ambiance inside is cute and kitschy, with merch for sale and free WiFi. We will definitely be back and can't wait to try some of their signature bowls. read more

I have tried many açaí spots in Orange County. This is the second time I try berry brand. What sets this one apart from the others are the bases! Coconut cream being my favorite along with the matcha chia. The toppings are unlimited, (which I believe every açaí spot should have) The service is patient and sweet. Although, it does get busy. I waited 15 min in line. There were only 2 employees. When I left the line was just about out the door. The inside is very cute! Pretty colors, very girly. The menu is always evolving so I'd love to return, but for this visit we started with the bread and ham butter. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the ham butter imparted so much flavor. My favorite item that we ordered was the Galician Octopus. The thin slices were perfectly executed and the flavors underneath packed a punch. I would pass on the Gambas al Ajillo. While the shrimp were large, I found myself wishing that they had some char. The Summer Squash Salad was a perfect complement to the other dishes. I found the squash ribbons to be unique, the dressing to be light and fresh, and the inclusion of small bits of cheese to impart just the right amount of saltiness to the dish. Because we were celebrating my birthday, they gave us a complimentary slice of the basque cheesecake with a candle in it. Typically I'm not a big fan of this type of cheesecake, but theirs was wonderful and we ate the whole thing. I'm always appreciative when a restaurant does a little something extra for a special occasion. Extra props to our server because she noticed the gift that my friend brought for me and took it upon herself to inquire about the occasion and bring the dessert. Total was $22.93, and this time the splurge was definitely not worth it. Despite being not very busy, the wait for my order was long. When I got home I realized that my La Paz was basically just a plain latte. The barista had forgotten to add the caramelized sugar. Kind of hard to fathom since that's the entire basis of the La Paz. Then I bit into the burrito. What a disappointment! It was the blandest thing I've ever tasted. Not a single bit of flavor. I don't even think there was salt or pepper in there. The roasted red potatoes that made Lost Bean burritos stand out had been replaced with soggy, flavorless shredded potatoes. I can't even call them hash browns because there was no crispy brown to be found, just squishy white shreds. Pretty sure I won't be craving the breakfast burrito or La Paz again. :(

I am not acting crazy when I say I think they have the best bagels in OC... It is a bit hidden -- tucked away in a parking lot in-between a car wash and Chevron. I am still not sure the name of this place. It appears it used to be called Limoncello, Yelp and Google now say Aroma, but the when you are there you will notice there is no signage or logo lol. Just a blue awning. I love getting their jalapeño bagel with plain cream cheese for $3.95 (a bagel with cream cheese is not on the menu board, so you have to ask for it). The bagel comes out so warm and fresh. I am serious when I say it is up there with one of best bagels I've ever had. Yep -- from this random gas station cafe. It's true! You can order at the window outside or go inside. Customer service is always friendly. There is usually the same older gentleman working the outside window and he is super helpful and nice. I believe he told me one time they source their bagels from a wholesale company in Irvine? And they are freshly baked and delivered. The drinks here are also good. I would not recommend the breakfast burrito. It was a bit sad and something a college kid would whip up in his dorm. But the bagels?! They are top-notch. I also like how they have plenty of outdoor seating outside with shade.

Smoothie was deeeeeelicious. I like mine a little thicker this seemed more like a slushy- that is my only complaint. I really love the texture of these smoothies, they're very thin and easy to drink. Ordered a peanut butter banana smoothie which was delicious and had a strong peanut butter flavor. Also ordered the blue majoon which was a bit sweeter (but still not too sweet) and had a slightly more artificial taste. Both smoothies were HUGE!

Smooth, creamy, and had a natural nutty flavor that didn't taste artificial or overly sweet. Simple, but done really well. The cafe itself has a clean, modern feel and is a nice little extension of the restaurant. Easy spot to grab something sweet after a meal. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Perfect way to end it. Definitely would grab this again.

I have had to spell out and point on the menu multiple times to what I want as they are not familiar with their own menu. 3. We typically order to go at the café and eat in the Cafe at the Cafe tables. They told use recent thats no longer allowed which makes zero sense. 4. They forget to call names for take out orders on 2 occasions which had made our food cold multiple times. 5. They do zero changes or alterations to any food. Ever. Unfortunately a once awesome staple in the community has becomes mis-managed and gone down hill.
