My friend and I were in Santa Ana, looking for a local matcha place, and were excited when we discovered Besa! We went during the afternoon on a weekday when the shop had a few customers every few minutes. The service was very considerate and attentive. We were fortunate enough to find parking right in front of the shop, but this might not always be the case during a busy morning, so plan accordingly! The interior is incredibly nice, modern, and clean, with a decent variety of seating. This is an ideal place to study and work. My friend and I tried the Spanish and Besa Butter Latte. These drinks were made quickly and perfectly. Both drinks were memorable and tasty.

Service was spectacular! The barista that took my order was so sweet and friendly. Very helpful with drink details, too. This cafe has been saved on my list and I've been wanting to try for a while! Got their guava matcha, berry blast matcha, and tropica-matcha. Half sweet and less ice (will be adding more ice at destination, which she suggested!) I got street parking pretty easily, end of the day on a weekday. Lots of seating inside and the music was chill!

besa is a matcha and coffee shop that also doubles as a healthcare clinic, which is executed really well as you can get a drink while you wait for a visit if needed, otherwise you can stop by and go, study, or just chill here. It's located in downtown Santa Ana which gives a lot of options of things to do around the area if you're not just there for a healthcare visit. There's plenty of seating, which is super accommodating, and the people are all so nice! The decor and aesthetic that it has built is also really relaxing and cozy, which really elevates the overall experience being here! Drink wise, their menu is pretty diverse on the matcha side, which I'm more inclined to go for. Their most popular choice is the strawberry matcha, but I went for the tropica-matcha, which uses mango cold foam, and island matcha, which uses a coconut water base and matcha cold foam. The tropica-matcha was so good, and one of my favorite mango matcha iterations I've had around OC! Very glad I went with this as my first drink here before branching out as I've had so many normal matchas and strawberry matchas that I wanna branch out and try new ones. I highly recommend it! The island matcha was more refreshing from the coconut water base, and I'd also recommend it if you're a fan of coconut water matcha combinations. The drinks are a bit pricey, but honestly for what you get and also being a healthcare clinic, I think it's well worth the price!

Vibes are immaculate! This place just opened a month ago and it offers so much. The inside of the coffee shop serves a dual purpose as a waiting room for their health clinic. They offer primary and mental health care services & yummy drinks and pastries. Upon walking in, Matthew welcomed me and was so nice! He had great chat and was very informative. The decor is clean, open, and modern, offering excellent song choices They have plenty of tables, natural light, and clean restroom. As for the drinks, they offer a variety of matcha and coffee. I got the Matcha Matcha which had a yummy matcha cold foam and a cute "besa" detail on top. It is on the sweater side so if you like less sweet, they have plenty of other options. I will be back to try their coffee and sit to do work here.

Looking for a new cafe to do some studying or some work while you're on the go? Ever wanted to get your mental health checked out? Well, you can kill two birds with one stone at Besa. How to Get here? I work in the area so walking was a breeze. It can't speak on parking aside of the street metered parking and structures in the area. Upon entering I was greeted by Matt, friendly and welcoming. Immediately asked if it was my first time. We chatted a bit about the recent history and renovations of DTSA as well as the interesting fact that Besa is not only a coffee shop, but it's also a clinic servicing general and mental health. Now that's different! We also discussed the popular and the favs on the menu. Spanish Latte is apparently one of their strengths so I gave it a shot. What I Ordered? - Spanish Latte (Iced 16oz) $7.50 It's a decent drink. Simple, no sweetness, aside of the condensed milk and cinnamon, you're tasting the espresso which Matt tells me is a local roaster. Would I rank this Spanish Latte in my top 5 or even 10, maybe not. For context MADE (Fullerton) or The Classic Cafe (Fullerton) offer strong top 5 contenders in my book. ***Coming in at over $8 after tax is applied, you just might feel like getting your head checked. While he worked on my drink I walked the space, snapped up some pics and caught a head nod or to to the mellow 90's r&b that was playing subtly through the space. Before I knew it, the latte was ready. Overall, Besa is a nice lil cafe / clinic. Solid stars for friendly service. Very clean and good lighting. You've got a decent amount seating and tables for study or work. Still some room for improvements on the menu / pricing. It's new, so working out the kinks is expected. Definitely worth giving em a try.

Love the idea of a clinic and coffee shop, I will say I'm not quite sure how that works so that will take some research. I ordered a plain matcha and that unfortunately did not hit the mark. The matcha itself seemed oxidized and had a dull taste to it, not at all the brightness you look for in a good cup. Even from the photo of my drink you can see it has a very muted color that doesn't quite match a usual cup of Matcha. They are still new so there is some grace to be had due to that fact. I would go back to test out their coffee and will be able to make a better recommendation then

The staff were inviting and informative on their drinks. Order a lavender latte and strawberry matcha. Both taste good. Thank you!

I came here the other day for the first time and it was such a cute little vibe! I ordered the strawberry matcha and the very berry latte. The matcha was good just definitely on the much sweeter end, not bad! The service was nice and helpful! The Very Berry Latte was good too! Will definitely be back to try more

Beautiful location, great service but the matcha tasted watery and more like strawberry milk than anything.

Besa Coffee is located in heart of downtown Santa Ana - such a cute spot to study, work, or just grab a drink to go! Definitely would recommend to check out! Good vibes and tunes for sure. Will definitely be back! I ordered a Berry Blast Matcha and rate it a 9/10! Very refreshing

found this place through tiktok and decided to give it a try! i was pretty underwhelmed. i don't know how to describe, but it tasted clean and watered down. the strawberry matcha just tasted like strawberry milk. interesting concept too as it had a doctors office in the back? i will say the upside is the staff are extremely sweet and helped us decide what to order.

It has such a unique vibe. It's located around Downtown Santa Ana, and the sign isn't very big, so it can be a little hard to find. Honestly, I'm glad I came with my friends because if I had come by myself, I probably would have missed it and gone home. The atmosphere is definitely different from your typical Orange County coffee shop. I heard the owners are from New York, and I think you can feel that influence. It has a very urban, sophisticated feel, but at the same time, there's something warm yet slightly cool and edgy about the space. It's hard to explain, but it has a personality of its own. The coffee bar is completely open, so you can watch the baristas make your drink and see every little movement they make. I wanted to try so many things on the menu, but I had already had two cups of coffee that day, so I decided to go with matcha instead. What really impressed me was how detailed they were when taking my order. They asked about the sweetness level, syrup options, type of milk, and even the type of cup I wanted. Since I was staying to enjoy my drink there, they served my matcha in a beautiful glass. And watching them make the matcha right in front of me was such a treat. It wasn't just some sweet matcha powder mixed with milk. You could really taste the quality of the matcha, and the drink was clean, smooth, and delicious. Santa Ana is a little far from my home, so I don't come here very often. But this place made me want to come back someday, take my time, and just enjoy a cup of matcha without rushing. Definitely a place with its own character. Would I come back? 100% YES.

I believe their espresso leans toward a lighter roast, coming through bright and expressive, while the milk drinks are dialed in with that smooth, silky texture that makes you want to savor. That said, the drinks don't always scratch the itch for me in the way I might expect but it might just be that their speciality drinks aren't quite what I typically look for. Nonetheless I do still think they have a strong coffee program and a team that clearly cares about craft.

Great service caught me at Enchanted Coffee…read more Some coffee shops serve great coffee. Others leave you thinking about the experience long after you've left. Enchanted Coffee did exactly that. I stopped by around 12:40 p.m. on a weekday, and the café was already bustling with customers. Luckily, I found the perfect outdoor seat where I could enjoy the sunshine without sitting directly in it. Inside was clean and welcoming, with mostly high-top seating, a communal island, and a small corner with traditional tables. Being on the shorter side, I knew the patio was my best option. During my visit, I also noticed guests enjoying the café with their dogs, adding to the relaxed neighborhood feel. Whenever I visit a new restaurant or coffee shop, I'm looking for more than great food. I'm paying attention to the experience. Customer service is where I believe businesses either shine or fall flat, and it's often what determines whether I'll return. I ordered the Lox Bagel along with a lavender oat milk matcha. I asked if I could add a single shot of espresso, but Elizabeth explained they pull two shots at a time. I laughed and told her, "I don't want you to dump it," so I happily took the double shot. She also let me know the bagel would likely take 20-25 minutes because only two employees were working. I appreciated her honesty and told her to take her time. Instead, my food arrived in less than 10 minutes. The Lox Bagel came on an everything bagel which was my choice, smoked salmon, cream cheese, arugula, tomatoes, red onion, and capers. They serve it whole, allowing you to slice it yourself. The bagel had the perfect toasted crunch, while the combination of creamy cream cheese, fresh vegetables, salty capers, and rich salmon created a bite that was balanced and incredibly satisfying. The dirty lavender matcha paired beautifully with it. As more customers continued to pour in, I couldn't help but watch how the staff handled the growing crowd. People patiently waited in line, squeezed into available seats, grabbed drinks to go, and somehow everything continued flowing smoothly. Even with only two employees working, the service never lost its warmth. Enchanted Coffee captivated me with more than its coffee. It was the hospitality, the honesty, and the overall experience that won me over. Needless to say, they've earned themselves a new weekly customer. If you're in the area or simply want to be captivated by the drinks, food and service...definitely give them a try.

I actually keep hoping that they open another location over near Cerritos/Artesia. There was a line leading outside of the building, but it moved pretty quickly. I ordered a pandan latte and I'd say it was just as good as their original location! Not overly sweet with a really tasty pandan flavor. Lots and lots of parking in the plaza. And service was very quick. There's very minimal seating on the left hand side of where you order. I wouldn't say this is the ideal shop to work in and hang out and chat, but that's fine.

Excellent Vietnamese coffee spot, top tier! Parking is easy…read moreand free, in a strip mall. Service is friendly and efficient, you get a buzzer for your drinks/food. We tried their Hazelnut Phin Coffee which was strong and full bodied flavor- one of my favorite. I also liked their peanut butter espresso (not Phin, so a little weaker) but very good. We also tried their Chocolate croissant which was extremely flaky (and embarrassing how much of a mess we made) but delicious. Their Bahn Mi Que (southern Viet sandwich) which comes in a pack of 2 small ones, which was well flavored and delicious. Will be back when in the area. They also have water and tea for free if sitting down! WiFi and clean bathrooms- a good place to study or hang out.

Be prepared for a very long wait and the possibility of them losing your order ticket…read more Parking is also pretty difficult, as the lot is small. Ordering was quick but they were clearly making drinks out of order because several people who ordered the same drink (pandan espresso) got theirs before me, despite ordering after me. Also, after checking on the status of my drinks with the person calling out names/buzzing the buzzers, he just went to the back and... never came back? And after asking again after another 5-10 minutes, they tried to tell me if I wanted my drink now, I'd have to accept one without my sweetness adjustment? They also gave me cups with different people's order tickets on them (but the drinks themselves were right), so I'm fairly certain they lost my drink ticket and have passed the problem onto other people now. Overall, not a good experience and wouldn't come back; the pandan espresso was alright but Airoma's is still better.
