Ok so food was amazing, I got the ahi tuna sandwich on focaccia . I LOVED the sandwich and the flavor and freshness of it all. I ordered three pastries to go. Everything was fine.. all fine and I didn't give it 5 stars because I felt like they were watching me to make sure I didn't dine n dash. I ate by myself on the patio and was towards opening time. I literally left my glasses to make them know I was going to come back after picking my pastries , and the gentleman who seemed like he was in charge said "has she paid" over and over . Geesh.. I wasn't taking up a table .. it was still empty. I guess they were worried I wasn't paying. Such great food and terrible anxiety just thinking they thought I was leaving without paying.
We came for their DineLA lunch menu which was $45 for 3 courses and we were so glad we did! All food and drinks were very tasty. The fuggazetta pizza was unique with a dough that was so pillowy and soft that was perfect with against bite of the onions and tang of the olives. The french onion soup was rich and cozy with the perfect cheese pull. The chicken sandwich was juicy with a bit of a kick which went well with the refreshing slaw. The pasta was solid -- a standard, textbook bolognese. The only miss for me was the olive oil cake which while nice and moist was a little too heavy on the olive oil flavor so it tasted a bit like you were eating a foccaccia with cream. The outdoor patio was pretty and quiet for an al fresco weekday lunch and we also appreciated that it was dog-friendly!
Bianca's is conveniently located on Washington Blvd. There is a parking garage just around the corner. The restaurant is gorgeously appointed and classy. The staff is welcoming and professional. The menu gives many options to please almost any palate. My Pollo alla Parmesan was good but a bit tough. The vegetables were perfectly prepared and delicious.
Stopped in here for Easter brunch. Restaurant was beautifully decorated, staff is friendly. Great to see the both chefs/owners there. Bread basket a hit as usual. Argentine facturas: Wonderful! Eggs benedict: Nicely done, excellent presentation. Although I recommend not sharing it, my yolk was missing. :-) Everything is just wonderful, it remind me of home and I absolutely love the plating. Only thing needing improvement is the coffee. The Americano was served cold, and the regular coffee too watered down. Perhaps next time I will just order a cappuccino, or cortado.
First off, the staff was incredible and so attentive. We sat out on the patio, and it was the perfect spot for sunset. They also have heaters available in case it gets chilly, which made the experience even more comfortable. The food was delicious! We started with the bread basket and the Argentinian prawn carpaccio. My favorite bread was the multigrain seeded loaf perfectly baked with amazing texture and flavor. The prawn carpaccio tasted so fresh, with bright peppers and a small piece of orange that really made the flavors pop. For our mains, I had the fettuccini special with asparagus and fried pork, while my boyfriend ordered the monkfish "poor man's lobster." Both dishes were packed with incredible flavor and cooked beautifully. We finished with an affogato and Grandma's chocolate cake, perfection! Everything was delicious. We're already looking forward to coming back to try more items from the menu and the bakery!
This is the second time I've had lunch at Bianca and I will say it is for sure not the last time. The first time I had lunch it was good but nothing that was too over or under whelming. Today Bianca was firing on all cylinders. Our server Brian was fantastic. He had good recommendations especially when I asked for the dessert choice. I'll come back to that. Today everything was on point. The service, top notch. Brian coursed our meal perfectly and checked in on us to see when we needed more time with something or if we needed our table cleared. The weather was so nice and maybe that added to the overall ambiance behind the hedge wall. I felt like everyone in and outside of the restaurant was enjoying their time. We shared the Tartare De Thon, very clean and refreshing. Using the lettuce cup instead of the bread was nice. We also shared the delicious burrata and peach salad. The freshest peach and creamiest burrata. A must get if you ask me. Brilliantly plated with lettuce cups to assist and a little kiss of a cherry tomato. Our main dishes were the Milanese and the Branzino. The branzino was shown table side then taken back for deboning. The flavor within that dish was to die for. A slight squeeze of lemon and muah chefs kiss. The Milanese looked great and was presented with a sunny side up egg on top. The mashed potatoes that came with it were nicely done. I asked Brian between three dessert, crème brûlée, cheesecake and the olive oil cake. He recommended the Cheesecake and I have to say I cannot Imagine that any desert could be better. It was light and creamy and perfectly sized to finish off a great meal. I was going to give the review four stars using a mix of my first and second times here. But honestly it was so good today it was every bit a 5 star experience.
Delicious eggs Benedict's and pancakes... as well as good coffee and great brunch spot. It's very cute vibes on the outside with its resort style umbrella outside felt like I was on a trip. Staff was super great and very attentive and helpful. Food got to us fairly quickly. Would highly recommend for any occasion.
A friend and I came for the $45 DineLA lunch, and bc a friend who had been here before, recommended it. She was right! Everything was delicious. We had the Margherita pizza although it was more like 4" than the 6" the menu claimed, French onion soup (I've had French onion soup at other places where it was filled to the brim with a crust on top, and this had less, but enough.), New Zealand salmon was light and delicious the way I wanted it - thanks to our server who asked how we wanted our salmon cooked, Grandma's chocolate cake, and olive oil cake to top our 3-course meal. Service was excellent. We sat on the patio with heat lamps. Nice ambience inside and outside. Parking in the building was $2/hr where my friend parked. I was able to find ample street parking on National and didn't mind the 10 minute walk. I'd recommend doing the DineLA lunch that ends 2/6!
Bianca is the kind of place, that makes you wish you were in Italy, Argentina, or France eating brunch. The name Bianca honors the Vietina brothers' grandmother -- and you can feel the nonna energy the second you walk in: warmth and charm. We kicked things off with a Hot Mocha and the unforgettable Chocolate Submarino, Argentina's answer to hot chocolate. Imagine a block of chocolate doing a slow tango into your steamed milk until the whole cup becomes delicious drinking chocolate. Then came the Bread and Marmalade Basket -- Homemade marmalade, butter, and assorted fresh breads. We continued with the Smoked Salmon Toast (scrambled eggs, smoked salmon), the Croque-Madame (prosciutto cotto, comté, gruyère, and a sunny-side-up egg), and the Eggs Benedict on focaccia, and then... Ricotta Pancakes. Fluffy, delicate and sweet. Could they have been warmer? Yes. Did we eat every bite...yes! The service was impeccable as well. Don't even think about leaving without visiting the bakery -- it's like walking into the carb dimension of your dreams. Small breakfast menu, but the bakery steals the show. At 11:30 AM, the lunch menu appears like magic. (I'm already planning my return -- probably with looser pants.)
Ambiance: it's a cafe style restaurant located in Culver City, convenient to the metro station, cozy outdoor seating but overly packed indoor tables Service: to be honest, not all servers were nice, some were so rush and forgetful, didn't get water refilled even after asking, and they almost took away the plate while still working on Food & Drink: mainly Italian inspired breakfast and brunch menu ENTRAÑA SANDWICH - *** grilled skirt steak, Brie cheese, rucola, tomato, overall flavor was fine, however, overcooked steak dry and rubbery texture, not so fresh greens with rotten leaves CACCIUCCO - **** from their wood-burning oven, including shrimps, calamari, mussels, clams, scallop, tomato-saffron broth, if it's not because of this dish, I probably would rate this place a two stars only, very flavorful broth and perfectly cooked seafood, the only downside is that bread was slightly burnt, still recommend for the taste Caramel Latte - ** so watery taste Price: medium portions and overpriced for its quality, not worth $40+ per person for a mediocre lunch meal
I don't like Mondays, because that is one day that Bianca is closed. But as soon as they are open for the week, this place is absolutely THE place! Bianca is our go-to for everything, local bakery, café, meeting spot, and caterer all in one. The vibe is warm and inviting, and I especially love watching the bakers in action through the open window. Federico is always there bright and early, and no request ever feels too small, his hospitality like a good neighbor really stands out. My go-to order? Iced matcha latte, Margherita pizza, Fuggazetta pizza, a fresh loaf of bread, chocolate croissant, honey croissant... and honestly, more chocolate croissants. We loved it so much that we asked Bianca to cater (again!) for a school event, and they absolutely delivered. Our guests were genuinely excited, there were audible gasps seeing the spread. It truly felt like we shared a little bit of Bianca's magic with everyone that day. We love supporting local businesses, and this is one we'll keep coming back to. Cute cafe serving a melding of choices from France, Italy and Argentina. Ordered the Niçoise salad which was definitely a must try if you have never had it and paired nicely with a glass of their Greek dry wine. Assorted breads were also outstanding with Service provided by our server, Simon.

Had an incredible work lunch here. I ordered the special of the day, the Spanish Tortilla with a salad and bruschetta toast, which surpassed any and all expectation. I love Bianca, a kind staff and peaceful outdoor patio. Being so close to the Platform makes for a great crowd every time. Can't recommend this place enough! And compliments to the chef!! read more

Their bread is soooooo good Love it so much, ordered the bread basket The tomato bisque is good too Together with the 2 empanadas The only problem here is the service I mean they are friendly But they are sooo lack of attention I have to raise my hands to order No one asked me what I want to drink I exactly want no ice in my water They completely forgot Every time I want something I have to raise my hands to let them come over No one ever asked me if everything is good The server literally directly took away my bread basket without asking me if I want to take it to go We paid it! At least u have the decency to ask us if we want to take it or leave it. But seriously there are still tons of bread left in the basket. read more

this place was a disappointment. our waiter seemed like he was avoiding taking our order, even though the restaurant was practically empty. we ordered coffees to start and they came after we had received our food. the food was good, but very underwhelming for the price. the bananas on the pancakes felt like an afterthought, and the eggs benedict could have used a small side salad or something similar (especially for $24!). presentation was lacking on both dishes, which was unfortunate as it touts itself as an upscale restaurant. the coffee drinks were quite yummy, but each was almost $8 (and one was just hot cocoa!) the person filling our water and bussing our table was the only highlight! he was so kind, much better energy than the waiters. will not be returning. not worth the price and the weird vibes. read more

What a cute establishment! It was fairly busy around lunch time too, a lot of people were walking out with drinks and boxes of pastries. I've had two pastry takeout orders so far and both have been great. Mornings are less busy and easier to pickup. My family raved about the cookies and croissant. I noticed their croissants are glazed, so they are a little on the sweet side. Other pastry options are delicious too. They have ready to fill-and-bake empanada dough sets available for pickup, extended since their yelp virtual event. I ended up coming back again so I could make them again for a quick snack/meal. I have been to this restaurant several times and the service and the food was beyond good. I decided to order lunch yesterday and received a very unappealing less than tasteful lunch. It was a takeout order, but when I received my margarita pizza, it had no cheese on one side. There were maybe three herbs on the pizza my empanadas I ordered were packaged poorly. There was no side herb dip that usually comes with it and I also ordered the kale soup. Everything came to about $62 and the reason why I mentioned that is because that is an expensive lunch, which I have no problem paying for, but I like the saying goes, you get what you pay for -well in this case I did not get what I paid for! All I could ate was the soup which was very good. I did attempt to call the Resturant no one answered. This was a real big disappointment. I'm not sure if I'll go back to this restaurant again.. read more

WOW!!!!!!! This place is probably the best bakery I've come across in LA. Their pumpkin bread & almond croissant were the best I've ever had. Their bread (namely their baguette) is extremely good as well. The baguette went stale after 2 days because of how fresh it is! I wanted to wait to post this review until after I tried their food, but I can't wait to spread this information to the masses. read more

I wish Bianca was closer to where I live because this might be my new favorite French bakery. They currently have outdoor seating available and the seats are spaced out well. They have both a brunch/lunch menu and a dinner menu, so I'm looking forward to try their dinner menu next. I wanted just coffee but still took a look at their brunch menu and decided to try the bread and marmalade. It came with sourdough, baguette, and ciabatta. All three types were delicious especially with the butter. My favorite might've been the baguette. I also got some pastries and desserts to go, including cheesecake, the pistachio bostok, and a croissant type bun filled with dulce de leche. One of these days we're gonna end up getting the whole cheesecake and not just a slice because it was amazinggg. One of the best cheesecakes I've had in a while. On top of all the good food, the service was fantastic too. read more

I mean it doesn't get much better than Bianca! After moving away from Venice and missing Gjusta bread I found my new heaven!!! They have a bakery & counter for ordering coffee & espresso drinks with oat or almond milk offerings. They also have a sit down restaurant with an elevated decor for breakfast & lunch Mondays - Thursday's & NOW OPEN weekends for DINNER! Woohoo! They are extremely dog friendly and have a huge patio. They offer an EXCELLENT wine list. But their breads? My oh my... I'm so happy to find Bianca @ The Platform!!! Bright, elegant restaurant and bakery with sandy wooden, gold utensils, and white and robin-blue striped walls. This reminds me of a bit of Bottega Louie, but with the French twist. Came here with a friend on a Saturday morning to try breakfast (served until 11:30am). We were lucky to have found metered street parking in front of the restaurant, but there's paid parking in the Platform garage. You can order to-go for the pastries and pizza at the counter, or you can grab a menu and take a seat anywhere. In terms of the food, everything was delicious. Note that the bread basket isn't free ($6). I got the Spanish tortilla, which came in three pieces and had a hollandaise sauce artfully strewn on the plate. My friend got the avocado toast, and it was the first time we had seen avocado toast in soup (a tomato bisque). The chocolate zucchini bread was so decadent, and the vanilla bun was the right amount of eggy and sweet. Special shout out to Willy for being so warm and helpful. He answered all our questions about the pastries and had a great sense of humor. Overall, this was a great, aesthetic spot to grab yummy pastries and live that bougie, LA lifestyle. read more
Came here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. They do not take reservations for brunch or lunch only dinner. Matt one of the servers got my party seated outside the patio in a timely manner. Didn't wait very long. . It was a good spot to sit at. The patio is cute and the inside bakery is even cuter. Park next to the restaurant in the structure If you can. Unfortunately they don't validate here. If there's no parking you can always park near Trader Joe's and walk over. Only other option is valet. Service was nice, everyone was very friendly and attentive. Food was good. Got a seafood salad but you can't go wrong with the options everything looked delicious. Had a latte for dessert. It was good and reasonably priced love the vibes and the design of the dish-ware. Need to come back to try the more pasta dishes and all the French pasties! read more

This Parisian cafe is so cute and has expansive seating outdoors! It reminded me of my Europe trip with my friends, so it was perfect for us to meet up for brunch here. We both got the avocado toast with tomato bisque, which I've never seen made like this before! Very unique twist, and was well received by the both of us. The Spanish latte was very tasty as well! WHAT A HIDDEN GEM!!! It's a pleasure to be able to share this short five star review. The building where Bianca is located is a four story parking garage structure. The top floor has Tesla Superchargers; that's what brought us there. We plugged in and headed off to find a restroom, so we headed down the elevator to he ground floor. We walk out to the street and to our left was Bianca. We headed in, friendly staff and ask for the location of their restroom. The place was spotless. On our way out my eyes focused in on the extra large pastry selection!!! I then focus on the baker through the large glass window and immediately knew we were going to leave with some freak goodness and we did. Five assorted gems that we shared with my cousins. Now you know!!! Thank you staff!!! Update: I Also put a review on my Tesla App. Now all the people who charge upstairs know there's a fantastic bakery with friendly staff downstairs!!! The parking I was expecting Valet usual, but you have to park yourself. This restaurant is located culver city art district and has very cozy small patio. Definitely we sat in patio, the focaccia take some time we ordered first, and classic Lychee martini was very traditional well balanced. Their focaccia was one of the best ever! Savory the temperature and olive oil powering the bread. With balsamic and olive oil made it perfect Italian focaccia. Grilled peach was a great kick for the salad, and the leaves of romaine hearts added the detail with decadent burrata... Cioppino- they have different name tho, was very strong taste and herby, but somehow, used not fresh seashell made it very fishy but enough herby to hide the fishiness but would be normal to ordinary diners. To have their beautiful dessert we stopped there and ordered my favorite coffee La crema di latte and macchiato with tiramisu, check my video how I'm eating tiramisu....then we were getting out , the owner gave us beautiful mini cakes box for the present! Everything in this place screams Italy. I went twice today, breakfast and lunch ! LOL This morning I had a coffee and a chocolate croissant, perfectly crunchy, lots of chocolate inside. Perfection. We went back for lunch and ordered the Milanese ( perfect 10) , served with arugula and cherry tomatoes, the iberico with tomato crostini, a pizza folded in half with mortadella, arugula , cheese and pistachio. We finished with a peach dessert. Can t wait to be back , but happy I don t live too close or I would be back every day. Italian approved read more

We stumbled upon Bianca a few weeks go, so the review is a bit delayed, but definitely couldn't miss the opportunity to write the review. The food was "ottimo cibo" that is great food. The bartender/mixologist Brian was very skilled and concocted some delicious cocktails made to our specific tastes. My wife enjoyed them as I did too. Based on food, drinks and service we will definitely be back. We had a great time and enjoyed the service staff that worked with him. The restaurant atmosphere was classy and elegant. We highly recommend and definitely spend some time at the bar as we did you won't be disappointed. read more
