First of all, I absolutely love that pastries from this restaurant. They are beautiful and taste perfect. I called the restaurant on Tuesday because I wanted to order a lemon meringue cake for my friend's birthday, I specifically said I wanted a cake not a pie, and I was told that they can do it. But today when I went for pickup I found out it's a pie/tart. It's delicious, but obviously whoever picked up the phone didn't really understand what I wanted to order. Bianca's includes a sit-down restaurant and a separate bakery that isn't sit-down. Overall, it's a good place to go for ambiance and service, but not-so-much for quality of food. I would recommend for brunch maybe, but they don't have their full bar license yet so the drinks menu is very limited. read more

While I absolutely love this bakery (the baguettes are fantastic), the restaurant isn't my favorite. I visited this past weekend and my mom's coffee was forgotten about and I wasn't "allowed" to add the seared ahi tuna (or any protein besides the chicken salad) to the house salad. read more

We go there often. The staff is simply great. We usually order the chef's special. We really like their bread. Their ciabatta is the best in the city. The chef's lasagna is fantastic. We came on Saturday morning and got seated outdoors within 5 minutes. Service was prompt and nice! I really enjoyed the croque madame, followed by their pizza. The meatballs were kind of bland, so I would skip that next time. read more

So today, I brought this girl that I'm dating here and it's the first time dining for both of us. I actually thought the service was pretty good and the food was good as well. She had the egg white scramble and I had the croque-madame. Where I ran into a problem was when the check came. We were seated outside. The waiter brought the check. Came back like 60 seconds later and asked if I had put my card in yet. I thought that was a little strange but whatever. Then I saw this party of about six come in and I overheard the wait staff say that these people (me and my date) were leaving and they could use our table. So once I paid the $80 tab, these guys literally started scrambling to set up the table right next to me and right after my date got up to use the restroom, the wait staff took her chair and put it at the table of the incoming party. Didn't ask or anything. Then obviously I have to get up and leave because she has no chair to come back and sit down at??? So give us another 5 minutes and we would have left on our own. But I totally felt rushed out of the restaurant and I did not appreciate that in any way. Will I go back? Maybe. But if they ever do that again, someone will get a stern talking to. read more

After hearing good reviews I wanted to check out this place while I waited for my Toyota that was being serviced. Heard they had good sandwiches but was told they only offer them on Wednesdays. That was okay. I ordered pastries and a drink instead. Customer service wasn't the greatest though and wasn't too accommodating while I waited. It's pretty simple. I just wanted a place to sit down outside and eat my croissant while being able to keep an eye on my personal scooter from being stolen. Tried other Italian sandwich places like All'antico vinaio and Ggiata and didn't really have any issues with seating or service. Perhaps the restaurant can at least have an outside table for people who may have a personal bike or scooter so we won't need to go into enclosed outside dining area which I was able to find at least at the business next door. It's disappointing as I am basically a local Culver city resident whose been working here for years so generally more than willing to recommend local places like this to friends and family that work in the area. read more

Our new favorite spot in Culver! Thanks to our wonderful waiter Chase, who had the best smile and provided us with exceptional service. We started with Insalata di Pollo, which was a delicious salad. Besides their lovely gold knives and forks, blue and white dishware, I totally love spying on the bakers on how they treat the yeast. We were given the best window seat to look at the pizza crust. We plan to achieve the same upheaval pizza edge by poking the raising dough with a fork unevenly, skew to 1 side instead. The spreadable soft cheese has finely chopped lemon zest which rolls like butter on your Ricotta pancakes. Can we please a few more candied sliced banana on the pancakes? Don't forget to get all you want at the bakery. It's like a jewelry store. I got the almond & chocolate croissant, it was the last one before noon. Maybe they had more coming in throughout the day? I also first time tried a Cannonelle with egg custard inside. The texture was like those expensive face cream, I wanted to spread it all over my face, but I ate it this time. Love all the staff, great associates and thank you for keeping LA moving! Definitely stay tune with the weather, keep a warm jacket handy and be supportive to the staff who running the restaurant. Bianca is a bakery I am literally addicted to. Almost every other morning I wake up and think: I wouldn't mind a piece of that Grandma's chocolate cake, or their soft, pillowy cheesecake....all the baked goods and the bread are outstanding. Beyond belief. The focaccia bread they make is miles away, in a far flung galaxy, better than anything I've ever had Italian breadwise in the U.S. The coffees/lattes/matcha are all very good as well. You also can't go wrong with any morning patries like their almond croissant, etc. read more

Simply the best! Bianca has the finest pastries, delicious bread, excellent coffee, amazing food, beautiful dining room and patio, and top-notch staff. Pick up or delivery, their treats have kept us going through the pandemic! Pastry chef Fede and chef Gianni have a little fun with this place. At a dinner service, one of the dessert options was called something like "tiramisu battle" where each of them had done their take on the traditional dolce. While we compared the two (each delectable!), they would stop by our table to check in on who was "winning"! Recently had brunch outside with a friend and had the MOST amazing ricotta pancakes (banana brulée, fresh berries, mascarpone cream). Gianni's dad, respected restauranteur Alfio Vietina, was so lovely when he checked in at our table. I speak a little Italian, and he and I had a delightful conversation in italiano! Went here for the first time with a friend and it was so good! The pastas were amazing - we had the cacio e Pepe and the bolognese and my friend even ordered a bolognese to go! You also have to check out the pastries. I got a chocolate chip cookie and an almond croissant to go and they were AMAZING. Also must try the empanadas! Indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is tough. Your only real option is the parking structure next door and the prices a pretty pricey. read more

Food was very good and the price for lunch was high too. The trouble was that they would not seat us at an indoor table without a reservation. We had to sit at the bar. The service was very slow. It was annoying that there were at least 5 empty indoor tables during the time that we ate lunch. The cost of lunch and the arrogance of the host was not justified. I will jot go back to this restaurant. There are many other good choices in Culver City. read more

So good! I got the February Special risotto and peach salad which were both amazing. The bread was also very very good and I was so happy to see that they have a bakery you can buy bread and pastries from. Service is great and attentive, but tends to lag before and after your food arrives so you may have to flag someone down for the check. Ambiance was cute and very open during the day because of the large windows. It's a bright happy spot with a lot of great options! read more

Came here for brunch while we were in the area, and were immediately seated. There were indoor and outdoor seating options, and all workers were wearing at least a mask and gloves (some even had eye shields). We ordered the Croque Madame and the Baguette Prosciutto, both of which came with a side salad with baby kale. The Croque Madame was heavy, and filled with ooey gooey cheesy goodness!! The egg on top was the perfect touch of savory. The Baguette itself was very crispy, and I loved the heaping of pesto which added a full and flavorful taste. While sitting there, I noted that the manager (?) would go around and talk with the guests, which was very charming (but did not come by our table...) My perfect little French cafe away from home. I started by just getting coffee and a honey croissant here which is amazing! I then graduated to dining in and I have no regrets. I ordered the Spanish Tortilla and wow! It's pretty much just eggs, potatoes and parsley served with an aioli and a little bruschetta on the side. The dish itself wasn't crazy packed with flavor and I appreciated it. It made me realize that so many times we can over-season and rely on that, we don't appreciate the natural flavors of the ingredients. Deep? I know. For once I felt the earthiness of each ingredient and it felt more "clean". The small portion of aioli on the side had all the salty, citrus flavor I was wanting and paired well with the dish. The coffee here is straight up and great. The hot chocolate though!!!! That's art! They give you a glass with a few quality chocolate bars in it and hot milk on the side and you pour it over. Talk about a presentation! Several people asked me what I ordered and honestly it was probably the best hot chocolate I've ever had. Now to be fair, I am used to those crappy powder packs but this instantly sent me into Christmas vibes. The restaurant is part of that whole Platform complex in Culver City. It's a contemporary French spot, new and pretty, with a nicely designed interior and a spacious patio. We sat inside, which seemed like the better choice, and had a pleasant, relaxing dinner. The vibe was upscale but comfortable, and also on the quiet side, with probably too many empty tables for peak dinnertime on a Friday night. I hope Juliet is doing okay. It's a great restaurant that should appeal to a lot of people. Service was welcoming and professional, and the food and drink were excellent. We started with cocktails, and I really enjoyed my Le Sage, a refreshing mezcal drink with sage, Cara Cara orange, and peppercorn. I also tried my husband's Mon Coeur, with cognac, rye, cherry, and Benedictine, and my friend's Coco Chanel, with rum, pineapple, coconut, and green tea. Both lovely. We shared a bottle of wine with the rest of our dinner, a light French red that worked well with most of the dishes on the table. We shared a few appetizers, and these were all delicious. I loved the tarama, a flavorful whipped cod dip with salmon roe, dill oil, breakfast radishes, and toast. Could've accidentally eaten two whole plates by myself. The possion cru was a cool, zippy crudo with sliced amberjack, radish, Meyer lemon ponzu, serrano oil, and cilantro. The salade d'endives was a beautiful plate of tender endives with walnuts, grapes, and Roquefort cheese. My entrée was solid, if less memorable: the daurade royale, a sizable fillet of wild sea bream served with ratatouille and a vibrant green sauce pistou. My husband's côtes d'agneau, or lamb rib chops, were good, though a small portion (I stole a nibble), with chickpea purée and olive tapenade. I also tried one of the cigares de confit de canard, duck confit "cigars" rolled in crispy thin layers of dough, kind of like egg rolls or taquitos, with a side of sauce valois. Not bad, if a bit strange as a main course. I get dinner in Culver City with some regularity (central meeting point for me and my oldest girlfriends), and am always on the lookout for quality restaurants in the area, especially ones that work for larger groups. I hope to revisit Juliet in the near future, and would encourage others to check it out, too.

My personal fave was the soup, which our servers kindly split into 2 tureens for us to share (soup is pretty hard to share otherwise, amirite?) It was so delicious that I found myself peeling the extra cheese from the bowl. For mains, I went with the Tagiatelle and husband ordered the steak frites. While the pasta was delicious and rich with flavor, the wagyu was one of the juiciest, most tender and well-seasoned steaks I've had in a while and I'm not even a big steak/red meat lady. We got lucky with a metered spot just a block away. It was a holiday so it was free. The restaurant seating is split into two sides, with a bar in the middle. There's also some outdoor patio seating, but since the patio directly faces the busy Ventura Blvd, I think it should be pretty loud with the car traffic. We had a baby in a stroller with us, so when I made the reservation I requested a table with more space around it. We were seated on the right side, where there was plenty of room between tables. In addition to the all day menu (which is available on their website), they offer some lunch specials with salads/sandwiches as well as a lunch prix-fixe menu for $44. To start, we shared the chicken liver mousse ($17). I also shared the prix-fixe menu as well as the duck confit ($36) with another person. The prix-fixe menu offers your choice of salad, entree, and dessert. We got: roasted beet salad, steak frites, chocolate mousse. I wasn't the biggest fan of the chicken liver mousse. It was extremely salty and comes as a THICK layer on the toast, so there wasn't enough bread to eat with it. I ate a little bit and brought the rest home to use it as a spread. I had some the next day and it's much better when it's spread as a thin layer on toast. The prix-fixe menu was good value and comes with plenty of food between the three courses. The beets were super fresh, though I personally found the flavor a bit too tangy. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and came with a LOT of fries. And the chocolate mousse with all the crunchy chocolate chips was a great way to end the meal on a sweet note. The duck confit was probably my favorite entree of the meal though. It was very flavorful and the outside of the duck was crispy. I also really enjoyed the thin sliced potatoes that came with it, as they had soaked up all the flavors in the juice and were delicious! My other friend is vegetarian, and there wasn't a ton of options for him, unfortunately. He could choose between pasta or an omelette. He got the pistou pasta for $28, which I tried a bit of and was surprisingly tasty. I completely blanked on this since the menu didn't mention pesto, but all the ingredients listed essentially add up to pesto, so it was a simple pesto pasta. Despite not having any protein, I found it super tasty and the pesto really fresh.

Sister restaurant to the iconic Madeo on Sunset Blvd, Bianca offers a more casual, intimate vibe in the heart of Culver City. The food was truly spectacular -- each dish exceeded expectations and left us in awe. We started with the Iberico special from Salamanca, Spain, served with crunchy tomato bread. Having traveled to Barcelona and Madrid several times, I can confidently say I have never experienced Iberico ham like this. The texture was sublime -- it simply melted in your mouth, without a single tough bite. It was pure heaven, and I'm already dreaming of returning just to savor it again before they rotate it off the menu. It deserves a permanent place. The bread basket featured a delightful mix, including baguette and focaccia. Each piece tasted clean, fresh, and delicious -- perfectly crunchy on the outside, soft and airy inside. It felt pure, as if made with minimal, high-quality ingredients. The burrata and caramelized peach salad was outstanding. The sweetness of the peaches paired beautifully with the creamy burrata and peppery arugula -- a fresh, perfectly balanced combination. We also tried the Madeo gnocchi, served with Madeo's signature tomato sauce. They were like tiny pillows of love -- tender, perfectly seasoned, and utterly irresistible. The portion was generous, and we happily devoured every bite. My boyfriend ordered the skirt steak with chimichurri. The steak was exceptionally tender and flavorful, complemented by a bright, herbaceous chimichurri that tied it all together beautifully. For dessert, we shared the tiramisu. It was divine -- creamy layers delicately separated by airy, coffee-soaked sponge, offering just the right balance of richness and lightness. I recently visited Bianca, and I must say that I was quite disappointed with my experience. Unfortunately, it seems that the quality of the food has significantly gone down hill since my last visit. First and foremost, the food lacked the flavors and attention to detail that I had come to expect from Bianca. The dishes seemed rushed and poorly executed. The once vibrant and delicious flavors were now dull and uninspiring. It was evident that there had been a decline in the overall quality of the ingredients used. Furthermore, the service was left much to be desired. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive throughout my entire meal. It was challenging to get their attention, and when I did, they appeared unenthusiastic and unresponsive. The lack of proper service significantly affected my dining experience and left me feeling neglected as a customer. Another issue I encountered was the cramped seating arrangement. The tables were incredibly small and placed too close to one another. This lack of space made it difficult to have a private conversation or enjoy a comfortable meal. As a regular patron of Bianca in Culver City, I have to say that this restaurant is simply fantastic. Whenever I visit, I'm always greeted with a warm welcome from the friendly manager who always goes out of his way to make sure that my dining experience is enjoyable. The bar service is top-notch, with the bartenders always ready to whip up a delicious drink or chat with great sense of humor. If you're looking for a low-key meal, the bar seating area is the perfect spot to unwind after a long day. As for the food, I have to say that the Seafood Salad (Insalata di Mare)and the meatballs are my absolute favorites. I came to Bianca with my family, and unfortunately, had a terrible experience. I was accompanied by my service dog and provided all the necessary paperwork, but the staff was incredibly rude and refused to allow us entry. Despite explaining that it's against policy to deny entry to service animals, they claimed that the owner does not want animals inside. When I reiterated that it's a violation of the ADA, they simply ignored me. This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable, and I will be filing a complaint with the ADA. It's disappointing that a restaurant would disregard a customer's rights and behave in such an unprofessional manner. The decorations are pleasing, creating a good ambiance for dates. However, if you're primarily focused on the food and value for money, there are better options in LA with more affordable prices. So, while it's a nice place for a date, keep in mind that there are places offering tastier food at a lower cost. Bianca's is seriously cute, both inside and out. The French-inspired decor adds to its allure, creating a cozy ambiance that's hard to resist. The patio, especially, is a delightful spot, ideal for soaking up the sun on a lazy California Saturday or Sunday morning. Their Bellinis are refreshingly crisp and enjoyable. However, despite the inviting atmosphere, the menu offerings leave much to be desired. I've sampled several dishes, but none have left a lasting impression or prompted me to rave about them. read more

Nice cozy place. The food has a nice quality, and the price is not abusive. I could try different options in the French cuisine, and it was good. There is a great selection of starters, main dishes and deserts. All of them a bit more expensive than most restaurants, but in my opinion worth the price. The place has a old style and offers a good service. Nice sparkling wine is offered to those who lunch there. We'll be a regular here. read more

Excellent service and delicious food. They have excellent bakery the choices of bread is amazing. The breakfast is very delicious and the dinner is amazing the meat balls is so good juicy and tender. The restaurant itself has a nice view inside. I'm glad I was able to taste the food here.
