Very friendly and happy waitress, as usual. Prompt service always appreciated. Korean pork noodles specialty! I had Thai Pepper Shrimp . . HOT! Everyone happy and full.

There isn't anything wrong with it here, I just would never crave this. It felt very healthy. The orange chicken was quite sweet. The employees were very friendly.

We went here after our couples massage nearby and they were able to seat us right away! We ordered the edamame and crab wontons to start and then my fiancé and I split the orange chicken. The entrees are big enough to split, unless you want leftovers. I tried the Thai Iced Coffee and it was so good! Lots of parking in the parking lot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Tucked away in the galleria so the vibes were quiet.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

It's been YEARS! Same delicious food, same wonderful attention forward service- bliss! So grateful to come back and still feel the same every goodness!

Big Bowl in Edina was a great dining experience! Everything we ordered was excellent. The lettuce wrap appetizer was so generous it could easily be a meal on its own. We loved the orange chicken, yellow curry, and the build-your-own stir fry--everything was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The portions were big enough for two meals. The highlight of the night was the banana cashew spring roll dessert--we loved it so much that we ordered a second round! Great food, great service--can't wait to come back!

First of all, huge shout out to our waitress, Kate C! She was absolutely amazing and so very kind! Kate had wonderful drink suggestions and she thought of absolutely everything to help make our dining experience wonderful with my toddler! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself is quite open and roomy and has a warm environment. I felt very comfortable during my time there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our table decided to share the broccoli beef and chicken fried rice. They were both absolutely amazing and had great flavor. For my drink I decided to follow Kate's rec and get the Blueberry G&T I opted for Beefeater Gin and it also included blueberry syrup, lemon juice, orange juice, and tonic. Perhaps the perfect drink?! I can't wait to go back during our next visit to MN!

Salmon Chef's Choice Stir Fry with Brown Rice
    Ryan S.

I got the chef's choice stir fry with salmon, brown rice, and the garlic ginger sauce. It was good (4/5) but a little expensive for what it is. The massive portion makes up for it though! Service was pretty slow to begin with but picked up (3/5). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside, it is pretty loud with background noise, so it is harder to have a conversation than other restaurants.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

My partner and I go to Big Bowl every year for his birthday as the food hits every single time!! If I'm being honest we really haven't explored the menu much, we get the same thing every time just because we love it so much, he always gets the Beef Chow Fun which is no longer on the menu but they still make it if you ask:) We are both obsessed with the fresh ginger ale made in house its way better than store bought just saying. I love the classic orange chicken with white rice! & order the chicken dumplings for an appetizer as well. At the end of the dinner they said in addition to the free birthday dessert we get two free desserts because we were nice to them!! Just a reminder to always be kind and respectful to restaurant staff! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also they just renovated at the Edina location, it looks a lot more modern and sleek now which is fun![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Firecracker Chicken

On this cold, rainy November night, we enjoyed some hot and spicy dishes at this Asian contemporary restaurant! We were seated right away in a nice booth close to the bar where our very kind bartender, Bennett, greeted us and got our Happy Hour drinks and apps in! Seasonal Sangrias, Spicy Green Beans and Spicy Peanut Noodles! The portions were a good, shareable size, so we had to share the Firecracker Chicken entree too. Everything was delicious and served to us very quickly. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area!

I stopped by for lunch with my sister on a Saturday and had a great experience. We were seated right away and had our beverages brought to us within minutes. The food came out quick and was so flavorful and delicious! My sister got their stir fry with chicken and I ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai. The Pad Thai was so flavorful and fresh it makes my mouth water just thinking about it! 10/10 recommend this restaurant. I didn't order any apps this visit but I strongly recommend the potstickers, edamame, Spicy Sichuan Green Beans and the sesame peanut noodles.

Sesame Chicken Chinese Hot & Sour Soup
    Debra M.

I feel like the food quality here has declined a bit. I ordered the Hot & Sour soup which was delicious but the Sesame Chicken used to have a bite to it that is missing now. I feel like I could have gotten this from LeeAnn Chin's because it was just bland. I used to go here when I worked nearby and it was always packed for lunch and dinner. I feel like since they franchised out to more locations quality was sacrificed. It's still good food but nothing special anymore.

In true family-style fashion we got plenty of dishes to share: some appetizers and some "main dishes" as well. The Xiao long bao and beef burrito are great starters. I enjoyed the wontons in chili oil, but wish they would've been spicy - we added our own chili oil/sauce. The pork belly fried rice and Shanxi shaved noodles were both fantastic. Both great portion sizes for main dishes with plenty to take home if needed. The restaurant is large and spacious nestled in a strip mall, and the service was fantastic. I also tried the Thai tea, and it was a bit sweet but quite delicious as well (they have an extensive drink menu, with many yummy sounding options). Good ambiance, and quick service !!! Dishes were tasty, and a bit salty for my liking but overall quite good! I will be back !

I ordered the Stir Fry Spicy Beef, Mapo Tofu, and the Pork Belly. Everything was tasty and have no complaints as far as the actual flavors. I do think that the Mapo Tofu should always be soft tofu rather than firm, but that's just a personal preference. The beef was plentiful and extra tender and the pork belly was perfectly melt-in-your-mouth, so good that I felt like I had to ration it throughout the next few meals. I do wish it came with more rice. I ordered three sides and only got one box of rice. I was hoping to have at least two so I can eat it for several days. However, to end on a positive note, when I walked in to pick up my order, the woman (owner possibly) was incredibly friendly and spoke Mandarin to me. She was welcoming, funny, and we briefly argued how spicy food should really be for it to be enjoyable. "The spicier the better," me thinks. Come show these guys some love!
