I can't say enough good things about this Big O location! The management team of Clint, Daniel, and Nate run a very efficient and customer focused business. I have been bringing my 2008 Jeep Wrangler to them for EVERYTHING not covered under warranty since October, 2010 and I have always trusted them implicitly! In fact, even after I moved to downtown Denver from Aurora, I still make the drive and invest the time to ensure my Jeep is safe and roadworthy. They never try to sell me anything I don't need and they always try to work with their customers on prices. The only "negative" comment or piece of advice I can think of is that this Big O is not Jiffy Lube. In other words, do not expect to get in and out quickly or you will be disappointed. BUT, this is NOT because they are slow, it is because they are very popular, they are very busy, and they are very thorough, and I for one appreciate the extra time they take to make sure my vehicle is safe. So when I originally went here I thought I got a great deal...but I had no idea how bad things were about to get! They put on all new wheels but failed to notice that the back axel was holding on by the caliper from the brakes! We had asked them to check on the brakes as we kept getting a warning light about it. They told us everything was fine and we were good to go...two days later on my way to work the back tire started smoking! The back axel had shifted and everything went to hell. We came here to get new tires after a horrible experience with the Firestone up the street. We were met with a friendly face and someone who was willing to go the extra mile. He took time to explain the difference in tires and how they would work for my van. It was 4:45 and they were closing at 6pm but he told us he'd get them put on and align the car at no charge. Gonna look for another location. They last made headlines was in 2014! Busy on a Saturday told to come in on a Sunday and come in early because the lines get long. Felt like a Black Friday sale, people waiting before they opened and the line was 13deep before they opened. All I wanted was to check my tires and one that had a nail. And I would wait. 3 hours later still not fixed nor moved. While other vehicles were moving. Inquired and said almost there two cars in front of me. How could that be when I was the third person in line checked in from when they opened. By 11:45 my car wasn't moved to the line like all the other vehicles. How they operate not too sure. But first come first serve... umm don't think so! I heard they started turning people away on the phone and in person. Too busy but more like Saturday leftovers took up most of their Sunday work load. Thumbs down!! read more

I had my brakes replaced on 08/12/2017 and still having issues over a year later and still no resolution. I have filed a former complaint with the BBB. My vehicle has now been seen 6 times by this Big O Tires location and each time they tell me it's a new problem and now I have to pay ____ amount of money to fix the new root cause of the problem. I had to escalate this to the store manager and the district manager and still no action taken to resolve my problem, without them expecting me to pay more money. I do not trust Big O Tires and wouldn't even trust them to replace my tires at this point. read more

After thousand of dollars spent on this store, we received unpleasant treatment! We dropped our car yesterday for oil change and noises on the front rear tires. My husband wonders since he just changed bearings etc last time that the problems are from that and still under warranty. He dropped the car at afternoon and they said the store was almost closed and they will take care of the car tomorrow. The next day I saw the car parked at 9.30 in the other side of the shop which is at Wahlgreen's. After service I saw the car not moving from the previous spot and called my husband if the guy from the shop had called him and the car is fix. Apparently not! They said they're so busy and have not got the chance on looking at the car. That's 11.15. Brian even said "you can take your car if you didn't like us!" Wow!!! What a service. On 12.15 he called my husband said other than oil change you need to change this and that and this for estimate of more than $900. We came to the shop and I know exactly that the car has. It moved from the spot at the Walgreen area. How can they say about estimates while my assumption they don't even move the car to the shop? Well I guess because we are minority and we don't speak good English they would assume they can fool us! We feel discriminate by this shop! So if you are minority, think before coming to this shop!!!! read more

Over $3000 in 3 months at this location and I could not be happier. Here's why you should take your car here: I know nothing about cars. I drive my car everyday with precious cargo- my wife. My car has some power and I had serious problems with my vehicle. I had to have a AAA employee come and get me. HERE IS WHERE IT GETS WEIRD. The AAA employee had me drive my own vehicle 2.8 miles without brakes. Can't make that stuff up. Then he yelled at the employees at this location because he thought they were responsible for my brakes going out.. They weren't responsible at all. I didn't have the money at the time to pay for my vehicle. These guys gave a really fair offer. I even called around to see if someone else could do it for cheaper. I called my boss and asked for a pay advance- so he said he would call and pay for my car on a credit card. I am so grateful for that!! He also yelled at them. LONG STORY short- I would have told me to never come back. Over all an embarrassing and confusing situation was turned into epicness by the big O staff. They greeted me with a smile when I picked up my car and told me to come back soon. I felt good spending my money here. My car runs great. My wife is in a safe car thanks to big O read more

Had a tire slowly leaking. Nate went out and pulled the nail out of the tire. "Are you sure it's leaking?" Ha I started laughing. I fill that tire every morning. Also asked for a rotation. I did get the rotation but still fill that tire up every morning. I don't think Nate believed me about it losing air. So now I'm off to find another tire store that can do what I ask. read more

I stopped in to get a tire repair .the guy was nice got me in next. and didn't charge me for repair. but when I went to leave I checked my Tires and my valve cap was missing . Drive it in, tow it out. Brought my daughter's suv in for an alignment and when they couldn't do it they left her car wrenched to the right. They let her drive it out without telling her. When she brought it back because it was squealing and her steering wheel wouldn't turn right they gave her a $600 estimate for new tie rods. We towed it out and had a real mechanic fix the problem. They tried to take advantage of my 18 year old and I wouldn't trust this location for any repairs. read more

I couldn't believe the amount of customer service we got from this store! We were handled by Jeremy Duff, the store manager. I had been to four places trying to get in for an oil change and this Big O fit me in. Everywhere was totally booked out for about a week, but they worked to get me in. Not only did they fit me in, but Jeremy was a life saver. I had been comparing prices and going back and forth between other places. I'm not going to go into our situation, but every penny helps. Jeremy took care of us and found us a discount to use. HE IS AMAZING!!!! They were so professional, did great work and really are customer driven. I am in love with this store and the employees and especially Jeremy! He doesn't know us or our situation, but he treated us with so much respect and helped us when we needed it. Let me start by saying this...I have loved this store...loved meaning in the past! They used to have great service. I have come to this store for 10 years, but things have changed for the worse. I called and asked if they had time to service my car. They said yes so I brought it down and dropped it off. Then after I call 1 hour and 45 minutes later without a word, they say it will they told me it would be awhile when I brought it in, which was not true, and it would be 45 minutes until they would be able to look at my car. Another 3 hours later I call and they had yet to look at my car. As I ask for my keys, there was no word of apology. I'm new to Colorado and had a good experience with Big O in California, so I went here for an oil change. Sylvester made my appointment and was very friendly and polite. As it turned out my back tires needed replaced as well and as it's 4WD, it needed all new tires. I never mess around with tires or brakes when they need fixed, so it was an easy choice to go ahead and have it done right then. As I waited, I was very impressed with the men working in the store, they were efficient, friendly with everyone, and kept me updated on the progress.. Went there to get my car checked the engine light was on. The manager Dan is a complete jerk. The way he talks to his employees is pathetic. He is also rude to customers. A manager named Daniel was talking crap about another employee instead of working. There were a few people ahead he continued to just stand around gossiping. I waited 30 minutes and decided to leave. I just want to give praise to this BIG O location as I received some of the best customer service from this location. I previously went to another BIG O location (Iliff and Chambers) where they put on the wrong tires on our company vehicles. After talking to the Iliff location about what happened, they refused to do anything for us and even began yelling at us in front of everyone that was in the building at the time. It was then that we came to the store on Hampden and Tower and told him what had happened- he politely informed us that BIG O is franchised and that they weren't technically connected to each other in any way. However, after telling him our story he then told us that he has received hundreds of complaints on the other franchise owner-all related o the way he treats his customers. Out of the kindness of his own heart- the owner at the Hampden location bought back the tires I had bought from the other location. I will NEVER again go to the Iliff location, my company will send its vehicles to this store from now on. THANK YOU! read more

Had my car towed there after I had a flat and my spare was bad. They said they had used tires for my car but didn't tell me they weren't the same size as the tires on my car. Charged me over $100 for two USED tires. They put 2 mismatch tires on my front axle which I had to go back to tell them. Their customer service is terrible! Unless you're a buddy of theirs, then they give them deals. Will never go there again! How do they stay in business? Go somewhere else, anywhere else...but don't go to Big O!! read more

I have been a long time customer at this location. I have always recommend these guys to everyone and spoke highly of them. The reason I'm giving this review with 2 stars today is because now every time I call to make an appointment or bring my cars in, it's always an inconvenience to them. Either they turn me away if I walk in or I am asked, rather, bribed with free services to reschedule when I have an appointment. It's not about getting free services guys... just take care of me! I'm from Wyoming and was in town visiting a friend for the weekend. Went out to my car Saturday morning and had a flat tire. We took my car over to Big O mid-morning and spoke with Clint. We went downtown from there for shopping and museum visits; Clint called and said the car was ready to go....I asked him for the total owed and if we could pick up the car after they closed and he said "no charge!" They left my keys where I could find them and take the car when it was convenient to me....had a great weekend in spite of car troubles....tire was repaired and re-installed and donut was tucked back safely in my trunk. Noticed a nail in my tire on a Saturday afternoon and it was too late to take it anywhere. This is the only place I could find open on a Sunday. Got there at 9:15am (they opened at 9) and was told it would be an hour and a half so I left my car there. An hour and a half later I got a call saying the tire was fixed and car was ready to be picked up. When I picked it up there was no charge. Can't complain about that! I had four tires put on my Camaro they were timely and the cost was good. The problem I had was when I got in my car the smell was awful. I just paid over $1000 for a set of tires they scratched the rims and left the tire grease on the rims. I would never take a car here again. read more

We have been taking our cars here for YEARS. When we got our new car, still under 5 yrs old, we of course brought it here for oil changes, tires, etc. Well with this new car everytime we would take it in they suggested something. It was kind of ridiculous. As the car got into year 3 and 4 EVERY time it was something else that needed to be done.The funniest was we took it somewhere else for an alignement, brought it back to Big O and they said our alignment was messed up when I asked to get it on the machine and see the numbers, they said the machine was not working. We spent a crazy amount of money on things we didn't need. The last straw was in 2013 when it was literally one thing after another, Got new tires there which led to a apparently something wrong with the sway bar. Before spending money there I got smart and decided to bring it to 2 more auto mechanics, one being the dealership. Turns out it wasn't the sway bar, but bushings. Wondering if I spent the money here for the sway bar and it didn't fix the issue, what the resolution would have been. We have decided to part ways with Big O and we can now finally go on a vacation instead of giving them our money!!!! Our car has been working perfectly and other mechanics have been great. read more

Horrible. Bought tires for two cars and they forgot to do an alignment they were paid for so tires wore out to point of the threads showing. Refused to do anything Husband took car to them to replace water pump. Car had been over heating. Charged us $2400.00 for water pump and installed a fuel injection system we didn't need. All we wanted was a water pump and fuel filter. The car was taken back 3 times because water pump kept going out and car overheating. They replaced radiator twice and thermostats 3 times which included the housing unit. Then invoiced us for the labor to keep replacing all parts. Yet car continued to overheat. This caused the damage to 2 cylinders. When car heated sprayed antifreeze all over the plugs they had to be replaced. All this happened in less than a year. They refused to to anything except charge us more money for labor to fix. Refuse to compensate us in any way. They also told us they illegally financed me for tires on 2 cars thru a finance company And if I sue them I will get in trouble even though I didnt know. This was ploy to keep me from sueing them. Recommend no one take their car to this Big O Tires. read more

My tire had a leak in it last night, and unfortunately it was past 7 and everything was closed. My wife and I put the spare on and today we dropped the tire off at this Big O with no appointment and they called when it was done. I went in to have it put back on, while I was waiting the man taking care of me gave me a quote on my tail light and in no time they had my tire put back on my Jeep. Not sure what I was expecting to pay but I was expecting to pay for it of course and at my surprise they repaired the tire and put it back on for no charge! I run hotels and restaurants for a living so I know great customer service when I see it. That was above and beyond great customer service! I wish I would have gotten the man's name that helped me, very friendly and personable he was. And not with just me, with every customer that came in. You don't find that very much this day and age.
