My husband and I just spent the weekend in La Quinta. When we were heading back home, our car indicated we had a low tire. We stopped and put air in it; however, it would not maintain pressure. If I could give them zero stars I would. The didn't put the drain plug back on tight when doing my oil change. My engine was locked. I'll keep you posted on their efforts to resolve it Update: Nationwide handled the claim and I was reimbursed for my rental car (one month) and the tow. First I would like to express my thanks for the excellent Customer Sevice from Peter, Stephan, Isaac, Albert and the entire team at Big O Tire in Bermuda Dunes, CA. As comparison about a month ago I was at I 10 Toyota having some recall work done. When I was about to leave they said my 2012 Toyota Sienna Van needed the following items: 1)Brake job 2) oil change 3) front end alignment 4) tire rotation and their quote was $1,700. Today I went to Big O Tire in Bermuda Dunes and had all the same work done that I 10 Toyota quoted $1,700 for $445 which also include new wiper blades installed on my wife's 2013 Prius V. We have been working with Big O Tire for more than 12 years because they always treated us fairly and I would highly recommend. read more

I brought my car in to get 2 new tires, I had to wait 3 hours which they never bothered to give any updates or apologized for taking longer than they originally told me. Week later I had a flat. AAA came and said it looks like my tire was repaired which was strange because I never had a repair. They may have repaired my bad tire and put it back on. The helping me was so rude and told me it will be a few hours just to check it. They have no shuttle service so I have to wait again. Also they are charging me 50.00 to possibly repair it. Bad customer service. I went in the morning then returned back an hour before closing because my tire pressure sensor went off again. Anthony helped me out again and was rude. Told me he was not going to over work his employees. I live about 25 minutes away so I didn't want to get into an accident because of a tire popping. Finally got them to at least add air in the tires. Some people forget what customer service is. I would understand if it was 15 minutes or 30 minutes till closing but an hour??? Cmon. If I could give negative stars I would, most incompetent/ RUDE unprofessional front desk guy in the world. We had an appointment scheduled and even called a couple hours before appointment just to confirm they had the tires agreed upon in stock and asked if they could save them. Upon arrival we were told that they magical just sold the tires, and conveniently the only tires they had were $100 more. I'm disgusted that they couldn't be more professional and have no problem wasting people's precious time. First off the customer service was outstanding and started from the moment I called in. Second, the price was 10% lower than the local competitors and they even agreed to align my truck which has an aftermarket suspension for no extra charge.. Third, None of the other competitors in town had the tires I wanted in stock but Big O had em on hand like a boss. Fourth, despite the fact that I had just called in (day of) they made it happen so I could get home to my fam. My only complaint was when setting the appointment I was under the impression that's when they were working on my car and I was going to wait. Don't go with that impression. My little RV had a flat tire on the I-10 near Palm Desert and after AAA left me sitting alongside the freeway for 5 hours they finally sent the right size truck and I had them bring me here. Spent the night in the lot and after they opened the guys here first checked to see if the tire could be salvaged. Then they sold me a new one and sent me on my way. Poor management. Friday went in and set up Saturday morning appointment for 8:00am. To place one tire. Arrived Saturday morning 7:30 8:00 doors open. Hand Paperwork to management. They proceed to tell me they don't have the tire in stock???? But I can bring truck back between 2-5 ??? They know I'm a local business man. They know this is one of 4 company trucks that I bring in to them. I all ways schedule earliest appointment, do to company truck has a route to run. I complained to management, but he was eratated that I was stating the obvious, I made an appointment the day before. He said that we could bring it back between 2:00 and 5:00 ??? So the truck got done later that day. This is the 2nd time this location has cost me time and money. Best of all, friendly Manager Peter Hernandez obviously enjoys what he does, helping his customers get a quick solution and saving you money if possible! Today my "Tire Warning" light came on and I drove over there expecting another big expense for a set of four new tires. I was delighted and relieved when Peter told me the "Warning Light" was caused by a nail which they were able to successfully patch, and that I do not need new tires yet! YIPPEE! He could easily have said you need four new tires, but he was honest as always and did the right thing; patched the tire and checked and adjusted the pressure. Terrible service , I went in originally for a diagnosis of an engine noise. Diagnostic was not performed instead I received an inspection of brakes and suspension and still was charged. When I returned as requested the issue was beyond their capabilities of diagnosis and damage was done to the vehicle.
