I went in happy with price etc but the wait time was ridiculous it took them over two hours to do an oil change. Then someone decided because I complained to mess with every control on the driver seat. Even the steering wheel. I have to go there to get tires rotated but I'm going to see if I can find another big o near me. I do t trust these people read more

I stopped in to Big O Tires to get clarification about an issue that was brought up during an oil change at another establishment. I left there feeling frustrated and stressed about a potential problem with my oil pan. I went across the street to Big O Tires, not long before they were closing for the day, and Richard graciously looked at my car for free, and explained the issue SO clearly and eased my mind about potentially having to pay a lot to get an issue fixed! The other staff was very friendly in the main reception area, which is good, because going to get a car checked out can be stressful with potential costs in the back of your mind! Originally came in for a set of tires, they made me buy the tire pressure monitor kit and did not install it. I told the service writer and he said they installed it. I told him I was watching the entire time and at no time did the installer worked on the valve. He went out and sure enough the 4 repair kit was still sealed in the bag. Fast forward, had a blowout on the freeway, came in on a Saturday. They had to order tire and should come in on Tuesday. Didn't get a call on Tuesday. Call them on Wednesday, someone forgot to order the tire. Finally on Saturday (exactly one week), came in to get tire put on. They lost my batman valve cover and the the install played Grab-ass and refused to installed my tire as promised. He was told by the writer to put it on. Her moved my car to a bay and sat on it. I got fed up and took my tire with me. Be aware of the horrible service here and take pictures of your property before letting them work on it. read more

I have been using the big o tire guys for a while. There service is not always the fastest but they are honest and will work with you to get you what you want and need. The thing that has been the most important however is my wife has ended up there on her own on two different occasions and both were semi emergency situations. The guys their were honest with her and very respectful and helpful. There are so many car service places in the desert that when a woman shows up they either take advantage or are just straight rude. We have had the exact opposite at Big O and as long as they keep operating their store that way we will be customers. read more

Stopped here yesterday as I was getting low pressure alert one of my tires even though I had just filled at gas station. The gentleman quickly checked the air pressure in all my tires and balanced them out and even taught me a couple things. He didn't see anything obvious like a nail, but told me to come back if the pressure got low again. Pressure dropped in tire again today so I stopped after work without an appointment. They worked me in and I was in and out within 30 min! They found a pinhole in my tire and repaired it. Honestly, walking in as a female that doesn't know much about tires, they could have tried to tell me I needed a new tire and I wouldn't have known any better, but that wasn't the case! They were honest and all the employees I interacted with the last two days were respectful and friendly. I would recommend or bring my vehicle back again. Two new Continentals to match the two they put on last year. Ordered by phone on Wednesday. They had them on Friday afternoon. I made an appointment for install for Sunday at 11:00am and I was out the door with new tires in 18 minutes. Not only that but the counter guys and the service folks are friendly and warm. While camping I noticed that bits and pieces came off my truck tires. I called Big-O-Tires and talked to Albert who recommended the tires for my needs to pull a trailer. He ordered them the same day, which was a Sunday. Monday morning I received a call from Peter letting me know that the tires came in. Got a flat. Rolled into their shop on my spare. The tire needed to be replaced. They sold me one tire, and assured me that it was OK to put a new non-matching tire with 3 half-worn tires on my AWD car. I'm still not sure if that is true. They can't be accused of trying to push me into buying more tires from them. After I left, the car's the tire sensor warning came on. I checked the pressure of all 4 tires. Two of the tires, the new one and one of the old ones, were inflated to over 50 lbs. I don't know how high because my tire gauge was pegged to max. Quick, questionable service. read more

One lackluster employee can make a simple visit to get new tires a real chore! Jordan, an associate I hadn't dealt with yet, began talking about alignment as I was dropping my car off...He mumbled and I couldn't understand what he was trying to say. His point was never clear: it was about as clear as mud when I went in to pick my car up. Anthony had to clarify what was being said: that there was a free alignment check and that they actually corrected the alignment for free. (I thought that was fantastic!) Jordan had me thinking I needed the alignment and I had said, maybe next time, as my car wasn't pulling hard or shredding the tires. Jordan wasn't friendly or helpful, he was just in the way and I could tell the other employees there were frustrated with him. Jordan isn't going to make it there. He won't last. I told Jordan that I really loved this tire shop and all the great guys there, and he FLINCHED....He acted like he didn't want to hear it. I was also told that I would get a call when my car was ready: I never got the call. I just went over there at the end of the time window and sure enough, my car was ready, with great new tires on. Get rid of this fly in the ointment, and you'll have a winning, successful tire shop! I hope this constructive criticism is helpful to all involved. read more

I have been here twice in the last six months (I drive a 1995 Toyota...) and both times, the service has been AMAZING. They have always been kind and courteous, prompt, and helpful. I provided them with all the info of what I had/ needed (like if I had time constraints, a particular budget, former care, etc.), and they always tried their best to work with whatever I told them. If they couldn't do something or something wouldn't work, they would let me know. Being a young, single lady who knows diddly about cars, I felt VERY comfortable and safe, which (to be honest) is not so easy for me when it comes to cars and paying those big bucks. The first time, I came in with two busted tires and one wheel totally bent. It took two days to fix because they had to order parts, but they went the extra mile to give me a good price. I know my car pretty well regarding what to expect for pricing, and I was impressed with the quote they gave me. When they explained to me what they did to hit the price range I could afford to pay, I was SO thankful. This second time, my check-engine light came on. I told them I had an appointment when I called, and they immediately began telling me my options as far as coming in and being able to make my appointment. When I went in, they made sure I left ON TIME. And again-- the pricing was more than fair. Love the peeps here. Definitely give them a try and see for yourself! read more

My family was on a vacation for Memorial Day Weekend and noticed our tire light turned on. Most places were closed but we happened to find out Big O Tires was open. We pulled up to the bay and one of the workers checked up all out tired and pumped them up. When we asked how much, the guy just smiled and said, "no charge!" Too often, simple oil changes are accompanied with attempts to upsale their services. I have not found this to be true with this particular Big 0. Every time I am in the desert I try to get my oil changes done here. Last week I needed my 30000 mi transmission fluid change. After checking with the dealer Big O beat their price by about 5 bucks. The job was done in a very timely manner and to my complete satisfaction. The only negative about this place is that,especially on weekends, it takes forever to talk to a rep. People just crowd around the counter and it can get confused as to is next. I would like to recommend some type of ticket to be given out to the customers to establish some kind of order. read more

First off, thank you for being open on Sunday!! I went in with a close to flat tire caused by a nail. I'm not sure how to determine if the tire could be repaired or needed to be replaced so I asked them to check all my tires out since I was there. They totally could have taken me for a ride and sold me 4 new tires, but they were able to repair the one and advised all my tires were in good condition and would last up to 2 more years. I went in for a "free" tire rotation. The tires on my Lincoln aren't that old, but, after waiting an hour, the salesman told me that they wouldn't do the rotation, because I needed new tires on at least the two front tires...but he recommended that I should get all four new tires. I said no and that he was just trying to get me to buy new tires. I didn't say what I also thought...that they take advantage of a woman alone, especially if driving a somewhat luxury car, like a Lincoln. So he gave me my keys and I went to get my car. It started up, but, strangely, I had absolutely no dashboard read outs or displays...No speedometer, backup assist, AC didn't work...nothing...and the engine wouldn't even shut off. This had never happened before. Luckily, a Ford dealer was just five miles away and I got there before closing. There was some sort of reset in the panel controls that reset and turned on the panel display. So it's apparently pretty easy for someone to fiddle with it, while perhaps pulling up snd checking the tire pressure dashboard display. So beware if you decide not to buy tires from them, if you get this tire salesman...he will try to ruin your day if you don't buy his tires. I won't be going back. Got my tires at Big O maybe 7 months ago, about a month ago my tire light kept coming on and I took it in to which they had only added more air and sent me on my way. After a few weeks of having to keep putting air in myself I decided to take it back to Big O, this time I spoke with Albert who helped me out and took care of me once I walked in until I left. I wish everyone there had the same type of customer service as he did, unfortunately I spoke with someone the next day when my light came back on and he said maybe all my tires weren't checked(Idk why they wouldn't just check all?) and wanted me to drop my car off for another 3hr service. What an inconvenience after spending time there the day before to fix this issue, anytime I need to come back I hope Albert will be there to assist. read more

Predatory sales tactics GRRRRRRR. My girlfriend had a damaged sidewall on her tire. Look,I get it, it needs to be replaced. she's all by herself traveling for work,out of state plates, needs to drive 10 hours the next day to get home etc etc..soooo, they quote her $210 for "the closest match." Guys, she drives a Ford Escape, not a Mercedes. I called while the work was being done, trying my very best to remain calm,and ask them to go over the charges.well,after losing my cool (just a little,don't worry folks) it turns out they had another matching tire at 1/2 the cost! AMAZING!! The guy made it seem like he had to search through a mountain of tires in a warehouse somewhere in the Himalayas and they miraculously came across one.(I'm obviously exaggerating**) he then proceeds to tell me they already have the more expensive tire mounted, like this is going to sway me?!? .sorry guys, put it on the lift and change it. I can not stand places like this! In any business. they see a pretty young woman who they assume knows very little about cars and dollar signs cross their eyes. Guys...not cool....
