Excellent, professional service I'm traveling with my daughter and grandkids from Disneyland to Legoland and got a screw in my tire. I drive a Sprinter van so it can be difficult to locate reliable service. I called the manager Mishonda, explained the situation and she had me in within 30 minutes of calling. I can't recommend this location ENOUGH!! My parents purchased all 4 of their tires here and got an amazing deal. I myself just left not only 10 minutes ago. Needed to get my tire checked out, turns out there was a nail in that I thought was taken out and fixed. 20 minutes later I'm handed my keys back and was told that it's all taken care of. This was the most confusing experience I've ever had. I called to ask if they do a tire patch because I had a nail in my tire. They said yes and it was $40. I get there and they say they don't do that and I needed a new tire. Very frustrating because they made me feel like this was the only option. Then they said they would call when it was done and drop my car off to me because I was right down the street. They offered this without me even asking. Seemed very nice of them. An hour or so goes by and I don't hear anything. I call and ask when my car will be dropped off. They say they don't offer that service. What is going on???? I walk down the street to pick my car up. Then ask why they told me these things over the phone. The manager didn't acknowledge my confusion and frustration. Instead he gave me the silent treatment and totally shut down. All was needed was an apology and acknowledgment of miscommunication. I feel like I also got scammed, they just wanted me to come in and spend money when I'm in a vulnerable situation. We've gone to this Big-O here in Tustin several times. Always friendly staff. They're often busy, so we try to connect with them and get in early. (We usually leave it and come back to pick the vehicles up.) But even when they're busy, once they commit to having something done that day, we've never been disappointed. The staff is friendly and their prices are fair. Also, we haven't been approached with what may have been "bogus" repairs which we have been at other shops. I give them a lot of credit for doing their job right and not trying to pad the bill. (Though sometimes I do understand there could be issues that the mechanic sees that are not bogus.) I'm so terrible when it comes to maintaining my car! I had to go out of town unexpectedly, I called in a couple days ahead and Juan suggested I come in to get everything checked out prior to my drive to Arizona. I arrived as early as I could and Juan quickly assisted me! He made sure to elaborate on the services needed and explained the financing options, which was extremely helpful! 2 years later I now need to get my brakes adjusted because they grind loud after sitting over the weekend. Big o tires did such a terrible job with my brake pads that I don't trust them to fix this problem. I really needed a quick tire patch because my girlfriend's got a nail in its tire and was constantly losing air. I called about five different local tire businesses and no one could take me in or take me in quickly. I got quotes of up to 2 and a half hours just for the patch. Big O Tires was the only one that said yes immediately and was able to take the car in within 5 minutes. Once there, the tire was inspected and I got someone working on my car immediately. Tire patch was done in under an hour and we were good to go. Quick and friendly service. Huge shout out to Mishonda for taking us in after we called on the phone! This location was very busy so I had to wait to be attended to but they were quick, clear and had me out in an hour. The waiting room is minimal but efficient and the staff seemed professional. Not only were they able to squeeze me in, they were much faster than expected and the service team went above and beyond to help. When I got my oil change from big o tires I thought everything would be fine cause they're a known name. But someone forgot to put back some bolts and something on the bottom of my car was scraping. Horrible Customer Service, no customer loyalty. I received four new tires and was overcharged. When I asked for a price reduction, I was told by the Service Manager Juan Chanelo "absolutely not". I've been a loyal customer for over 14 years (with two cars) and have never received such bad customer service. I spoke with the corporate office and district manager Junior Benitez who said I was overcharged for the tires and he would give me a credit but so far that hasn't happened (one week later). After the way I was treated, I will not be coming back to this location (1st Street in Tustin) again. If you chose to do business with them, I suggest you pay close attention to what you're being charged for because they'll add in all the warranties and whatever else they can get out of you. I don't want to give my business to a company who cares more about pricing than customer service. read more

He showed me the uneven wear on my tires, explained why it was time to replace them, had my new tires in his warehouse, got me a ride to work (and back), and had the new tires installed and an alignment done, all in a couple of hours. (but never wrote a review for past service) This weekend, I had to go to Big O to remove and repair a screw in ONE tire after Just Tires refused to fix it and pressured me to buy TWO new tires at $400+. As soon as I drove up to Big O, the Manager Mishonda spotted the screw before I parked and had a mechanic fix my flat as soon as I got out of my truck. This Review is regarding the amazing and ethical work practice I received from the entire staffing working on 4/18/2022, especially that of Steven. I went in after Hyundai Tustin botched my service and told me I needed two tires replaced due to wear and a nail. After showing Steven the video, he was able to put together that no service was done on my car and that the car they stated in the video wasn't my car. Steven was nice to even top off my windshield wiper fluids and the staff let me out with no charge for assisting me with finding out the real issue. Great staff and highly recommend them, they aren't here to cut corners and really help out customers with their needs. read more

My husband took his truck to Big O Tires on First Street in Tustin to get an alignment done. He took it over mid-day, and was told it he would get a call later that day when it was ready. Several hours later, no call. He walked over to check and see what was up. They couldn't figure out how to do the alignment. My husband showed them what needed to be done. They said they would get to it first thing the following morning. By the afternoon of the next day, no call. Again, he walked over to see what was going on. The girl from the office was standing outside talking with a mechanic, no customer service there. My husband finally found someone to find his truck, and was told they stayed late and finished it last night, but hadn't gotten around to calling him to tell him it was done yet...that will be the last time we go to that shop for work on any of our vehicles. read more

Do not recommend this business at all. I just left this business and experienced the absolute worst service imaginable. I had a nail in my tire and I called in advance to see if they patch tires and they assured me they did. When I got there they said that it was not possible to patch and I had to buy a new tire. The service manager guy who is apparently named Juan Chanello was working there (wearing a button up shirt) told me he would drop the car back next door for me when it was ready. I did not ask for this service but he offered. I waited and was never notified that the car was ready. I called and mentioned that the service manager guy had offered to drop it off and the person on the phone totally gaslit me saying that they didn't offer that service. I went over to get my car and explained that I was lied to and what happened and the guy working there shut down and ran out of the store. He finally came back and would not listen or acknowledge what had happened, just kept accusing me of being upset for no reason. He would not give me his name. Apparently the owner is David Garcia who I would appreciate following up with me about this. It could have been so easily avoided by not lying and promising things they can't deliver and also owning up to the fact that they misled me twice. I am appalled at the totally lack of care or concern and communication and I got scammed into buying a tire by the other dude working there who played nice and acted like he would drop my car off just so I would spend money on a tire. When I asked where he was when I went to get my care they said he went home. So unacceptable especially when I am already dealing with the stress of a flat tire. read more
