So I have been coming to this Big O for years, but not any more. In May, I had a nail in my tire -- and AAA could not put on my spare because all the lug nuts were stripped from when Big O installed new tires in June 2021 . This place is where I always had my oil changed done. That day, they were slammed, and I did not make any appointment, I called and said waiting is about 1-2 hours. I went to Valvoline, and they messed up my car royally, they didn't have the tool to replace my filter. So, I went to Big O' tires, I spoke with the Manager Juan C. He was very helpful, informative, kind, honest, efficient and very professional. My car was done in less than an hour. And did not even let me pay for the service they did for my car. He said "It's free". This place will definitely my go to place for my oil change. This was not the first time these Big O' tires guys go above and beyond, that's why I keep coming back here! Been coming here for at least 33 years, off and on. Bought many tires and had alignments done over the years here. Never had a problem until Sunday, February 26, 2023. I brought a friend's wheel/tire assembly off the car for a patch due to a nail. The woman that was running the front counter seemed somewhat disconnected, but agreed to have one of the service techs patch the tire. She told me to put the wheel over to the last bay and to come back in a couple of hours because they were busy. My friend and I came back about 3 hours later and the tire was still not done. I sarcastically asked if another 2 hours would be sufficient and she said "Sure".. My friend and I left to go have lunch across the street while I observed their activity. Only 2 cars in their bays and not much activity going on. Right after lunch, my friend agreed with me that this place was not functioning in a businesslike manner and decided to take the tire back. We arrived back, still nothing was done with the tire and mind you, two employees were standing around socializing. This annoyed me, so I loaded the tire in my trunk while my friend was telling this gal we were taking the tire back if they weren't interested in fixing it. She seemed surprised, but relieved that they were losing a customer, a long time customer at that! In conclusion, one should not believe that one should patronize a business for loyalty reasons. This doesn't exist much anymore and businesses know that. In the post-CoVid times we are in, customers are seen by businesses as an annoyance and that we should rely on other resources or third parties (Door Dash, Grub Hub, etc) to obtain our needs. Lastly, we had a professional shop repair the tire in 15 minutes and they even apologized for the wait! That's simple Business 101 people! I appreciate them so much! My pure luck of finding them at O'Reilys. My car gave out on me and I come to find out that it's the alternator. For my current situation it was not an easy thing to handle especially with no references but Juan overheard and was more than willing to help. He and his team were incredibly nice and understanding. He not only changed my alternator for me but changed my battery as well. Having not planned this he and his team took car of this in such a timely manner. I got a flat tire over the holiday weekend and urgently needed a replacement tire on a Sunday. I had trouble finding a tire shop that could provide same-day service. I called Big O Tires and the assistant manager, Mishonda, told me that it would be no problem and to just bring the car in. I arrived an hour before closing, but they stayed late to finish my car. The price was fair. The customer service was awesome. Mishonda was so helpful and patient. You can tell she cares about her customers. I needed to patch up my tire because of a nail. I went to this place and come to find out they charge $50 for the service. What?? Other shops were free of charge. Had I known, I wouldn't have wasted my time. I got the hell out. I just went down the street to another shop and patched up for free but had to wait for hours. Gave them tip. All good. This afternoon about 4:45, I discovered that one of my tires had a nail in it. I needed to have it repaired this evening. The first shop I called said they could not fix it until tomorrow. I called Big O next, and they told me they could have it done by 7:00 tonight. I dropped off my car shortly after 5:10. Despite a busy evening in which all of their service bays were occupied, they were able to have my tire repaired by 6:15. It was a huge help to have it fixed so quickly. I was not without my car for very long at all. In addition to the very fast service of my repair, every employee with whom I interacted treated me courteously despite how busy they were. I've use these guys in the past and they are terrific. Recently I had a hole in my tire and took it to their competitor across the street (GoodYear). That was a big mistake. Goodyear couldn't even figure out how to patch a tire. Finally went back to Big O. They are fast, friendly and their prices are fair. Big O is a place you can trust. Update 3/6/2020. : Check Engine light was showing on my car. I got a call from them and they told me "there's a part that needs to be replaced but you should do it through the dealership because your car is still under warranty". Came in on a Sunday morning with a slow leak in my tire and I asked if they could sneak me in for a repair. They not only fit me in but Mishonda gave me the price and time it would take. This is the third time I've visited this location and they are always great to work with. While I was waiting I saw Mishonda working with another customer who had an older model tire that is not easy to get. Even though they didn't have it in stock, I saw her making calls to secure four of them from another shop and even arrange to have them delivered to this location. My 75 year-old parents had a tire with a nail that needed a patch and we brought their car to Big O Tires. They seemed very busy with a lot of people but were still happy to try and help us out. Many places don't even seem to bother with patching a tire because it's such a small job but Big O seemed more than happy to help. My parents needed the car to drive home about 25 minutes away and we were told the tire would be fixed before 6. We dropped the car off around 4:15 and a little after 5 we received a text message letting us know the car was done! Mishonda and Roger were so helpful and kind in helping them with their issue and we are very, very appreciative and grateful. Took a tire with a puncture 2" from the edge of tread here for a patch. They said it was too close to the edge to repair and pushed hard for me to buy 4 new tires, from no name low quality brands, for more than they list for on their own website. Immediately took the same tire to Americas Tire where they patched the puncture (and also confirmed it wasn't even close to the edge) and remounted it for free and in less than an hour. read more

My previous post wasn't a good one due to an unpleasant experience a few weeks back. Let's just say i waited a long time for a lack of customers service. I understand people get busy and time estimates aren't always accurate but I waited was too long to not be helped. I posted a yelp review and was immediately contacted by one of the district managers Victor. He ready my complaint and listened to my concerns and apologized. He assured me that my next visit would be better and he would ensure that the job was done and done quickly. That's what a lot of these businesses nowadays lack. Great customers service but with Victor, to reach out to me and actually speak to me personally on the phone and not just through email or through yelp, he made it personable and made sure my next experience would be better than the last. 5 stars for great customers service and for making things right! read more

I would NOT recommend this place to anyone especially for women. This place and their service advisers deserve a big fat zero. The service advisers will gouge prices. I was charged 2 times the amount to have the issue replaced. They first start with being in the margin of $350 then it became $550, like a fool and not knowing any better I agreed and left my car to get fixed. Only to receive a phone call saying it was going to be an additional $100 bring it to $650. I immediately said NO! I'm done! I'll be on my way to pick up my car. I took my car to different place. They charged me only $239. for the same work. When, I told them the story about Big Tire and what they wanted to charge me he lowered his head and shook it and said I'm so sorry you had to experience that! Ladies this is not the place you can rely that they will take care of you and give you a fair price. They will not think twice of ripping you off because we don't know any better. We think they're being honest with us but this is not the place for that. I found out the service advisors and mechanics all work on hrly plus commission. So do not think for a min these guys have your best interest at heart. Seek any other place other than a Big Tire. Btw.. while I was there to pick up my car I waited in the open lobby and i over heard a conversation of one of the (Juan) advisers sell a woman who was obviously a senior citizen and she asked him "is this the best price for these tires?" I was floored when he said "Oh yeah you're getting a great deal! 75000 miles guarantee on these tires. The total is $1100.00! People let me just say when I saw her get into her car, I was floored and appalled! The tires they put on were too expensive of tires for an old old van. The tires will last longer than her car will so why would this guy seller her these tires and adviser her that she's getting a good deal? Truly sad! Beware!! This place is the biggest rip off ever and not Women friendly. Stay away!! read more

This business will cheat you. I brought in my car for a simple bulb change, and they wanted $80, and $50 of it was for labor. I took it elsewhere and got it immediately done for $20. I will never go to Big O again...they are cheaters, and they will overcharge you for the most basic things. Don't trust them. read more
