    Lemon Blueberry Pancakes

Tried the bacado omelette and the blueberry pancakes. To be honest was not the biggest fan of the bacado (only because I have had such yummier savory treats at other bill locations, could have been less dry). The blueberry pancakes were very yummy, was sweet but also had a little zest throughout.

Bill's Cafe is always a solid brunch spot! Everything came out looking amazing and tasting even better. The pancakes were fluffy with just the right amount of sweetness--perfect with the syrup and butter. The eggs benedict with hash browns was hearty and super satisfying, and those hash browns were crispy just how I like them. Also got a side of bacon and sausage, both cooked perfectly, and paired it with a refreshing drink to top it all off. Overall, great portions, delicious food, and a cozy brunch vibe. Definitely a go-to when you're craving a classic breakfast done right!

Bill's cafe is the best breakfast place in the Bay Area. There are many locations and this is the one in Willow Glen. It's a smaller location but there isn't much wait on weekdays. You can do the "half" entrees to try more items like the crab cakes egg Benedict (my favorite) or side of mini pancakes. You can also sub toast for waffles or pancakes for a few extra bucks.

I came here for a brunch with my friend, and we had a great time! Bill's Cafe is along a corner and there is parking on the side. The restaurant itself has both outdoor and indoor seating, and we opted for outdoor to enjoy the sun. The service was great, everyone was so welcoming and fast. For me, the food was fine. It was definitely filling, a little too oily for my taste, and a fair price. This is worthwhile to check out if you are craving brunch items!

We went on a Sunday and there was a lot of people waiting but to be honest we got our seats really fast! All the food was such a huge portion and decently priced for a diner. The ambiance was nice and the employees were all super sweet and very attentive! I would definitely go back with my family and friends if I'm looking for comfort Mexican-American fusion breakfast diner food! The cinnamon pancakes were the best thing I've ever had!

Bill's Cafe in Willow Glen is a solid, standard breakfast and brunch spot. Nothing fancy, but the food is good and it hits the spot for a casual meal.

A Bill's skillet + pancake will always do me right! The Willow Glen Bill's is always more crowded than the other locations I've been to. I usually park in the downtown Willow Glen parking structure and stroll over. This time, on a Sunday around noon, there was a 10 minute wait for a party of 2. This location is always bustling, but luckily a good amount of people moving in and out, so the wait is never terribly long. I always get the Bill's Original Skillet and sub the toast with a pancake. They've recently had the blueberry lemon pancake as a special, so I opted for that one. The service is always quick but attentive. I came after a hike so was ravenous, and the skillet always does an amazing job of making you full - a great portion size! Such a home-y vibe to a classic breakfast dish. This is my second time getting the blueberry lemon pancake, and it is oh so delicious! Love how it's not too sweet, there's plenty of blueberry chunks, and a classic lemon flavor. And I always love their pancake butter, so easy to spread! You're not going to get the most trendy or most unique new dishes from Bill's, but you get the consistency every time. Truly a Bay Area breakfast/brunch treasure - always delicious!

Classic Brunch spot with multiple Bay Area locations. You definitely can't go wrong with what they serve. Highly recommend their skillets and eggs benedicts with homemade hash browns. They also have unlimited black coffee that they refill in your mug! They're speedy (less than 10 minutes for our food to be prepared) with great, friendly and efficient staff. Wait times can be a little long as this location is a little smaller than others, but I do enjoy the patio dining. The freshly squeezed OJ is a little sour at the moment (early July 2025) I do appreciate they have mini options!

I tried Bill's twice a few years ago and wasn't impressed with their egg breakfasts. They seemed a little bland to me. Today I decided to DoorDash breakfast and ordered the Bill's Original Skillet with scrambled eggs and country potatoes, hold the green peppers. My food arrived surprisingly fast and was nice and warm. Unfortunately, about half of the country potatoes were burned (the photos only show a couple pieces, but there was much more). This is the second time I've gotten burned country potatoes at a Willow Glen breakfast restaurant so I'm wondering is that an intentional thing? I don't care for burned food. The ham was chopped into tiny little pieces and I had to dig around to find it. There were too many overcooked, mushy tomatoes that I ended up picking out. I will say the skillet was nicely seasoned, not at all bland, and I liked the scrambled eggs.

Nutella French Toast - Just amazing !!! Must try

Amazing food !!! We ordered the Fried chicken benedict and nutella french toast. It was amazing !!! Only thing is, for fried chicken benedict I wish it came with some more curry sauce since the biscuits tend to make it a bit more dryer. Ambiance wise it's a very busy place and hustling all the time !!! Overall, lovely... just love this place !!!

I have seen several Bill's Cafe around the areas I usually go to and have been curious about trying it. However, it's always busy any time I'm up early enough on the weekends to try it so it hasn't happened in the many years I've been here. I finally was able to try it with my bf a few weekends ago. We came here on Sunday for brunch - my bf dropped me off at the entrance and then he went to find parking. Amazingly - there was only 1 party ahead of us AND my bf got parking right away. I was sure we would a hard time finding parking and have to wait a while to be seated. How lucky! After we were seated, someone came by and poured the bf some coffee right away. I opted for water and orange juice instead. After looking through the menu, I got the mini pancakes and bf got an omelet with just egg whites. The food came out pretty quickly and we had a good time chatting about random stuff and listening to the very loud guest a few tables over. My mini pancakes were a lot more than I thought and I ended up taking half of them home to finish. They were very fluffy and were great - the sausages that came with them balanced out the overall sweetness. The orange juice was a bit of a let down - but not bad as far as orange juice goes, I guess. My bf enjoyed his omelet and toast. It was also nice that he didn't have to ask for a refill on his coffee - service was very efficient. I would probably come by again if I didn't have to wait since the service was great. However, I think the food itself, while decent, lacks the needed punch for me to want to go back again and again. Or maybe I just didn't try the right items.

It is one of the pricier burger options around, but you can literally customize your burger to your hearts content (or other sandwich type). We have had their burgers, fries, onion rings, chicken tenders and a salad - kale quinoa. Quality of ingredients - really high, really delicious meat. Lettuce and ingredients in salad were fresh, and plentiful. Portion size - a large fry or a large onion ring feeds my whole family - when it says large, it is large.I did not trust the first time and ended up with WAY more fries than we needed. But fun fact - these reheat really well! Some do not, these are great the next day in the air fryer (same as onion rings) The only disappointing item for my son was the chicken tenders, they were very small and mostly breading. Kind of felt like we had the last remnants of a batch. Good flavor overall, just not a lot of chicken and overall this was the smallest portion size, even for a kid size. And we order from them all: Mojo, Habit, The Burger Lounge. I would rank the Stand higher than these others for quality, flavor and menu selection. But definitely at a higher price point. One thing to keep in mind - paying for McDonalds these days is close to paying for one of these higher-quality spots and I will pay more $$ any day of the week to ensure higher quality ingredients and choices.

It was the perfect spot to enjoy the fresh air and made for a really relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant has a great vibe overall, especially if you're looking for an outdoor brunch. (Have not been inside) I ordered the steak chilaquiles, and I'd give them a 8.5/10. The flavors were really good, the sauce was delicious, and I liked the addition of the eggs, avocado, and queso. My only complaint was the steak. I ordered it medium rare, but it came out medium well, a bit dry and was tougher than expected, making it difficult to cut. It was still tasty--just not cooked quite the way I was hoping. The mimosas were good too, a great value. Nothing that really stood out as amazing, but definitely nothing bad about them either--they got the job done. What really elevated the experience was the service. Our server Rebecca was attentive, knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly quick throughout the meal. They checked in at the right times, answered our questions confidently, and made us feel well taken care of without ever being overbearing. Overall, I'd come back, especially to sit on the patio again. With a more tender steak, this meal would've easily been an 8.5 or 9 out of 10!! :)

I ordered my stout and i let it sit as the foam settled and realized that the pour did not fill up the glass. I let the staff know and they fixed the issue by topping off my drink. The staff are very friendly and understanding. During my first visit, we ordered the ribs and brisket as well as a tri tip salad. The brisket was very tender and juicy. I usually avoid ordering briskets since most BBQ places in San Jose that I've been to have made them very dry. There was only one piece that wasn't juicy which I expected since it had no fat on it. It was still tender and not dried out. The ribs were also good. It was tender and didn't stick to the bone as much but it wasn't as tender where it just slides off the bone. The seasoning on the ribs was neutral and the BBQ Pit have their own special bbq sauce (regular and spicy) which goes well with the meat. My wife ordered the tri tip salad and she enjoyed it. I stole some of her greens to balance the meat and beer and the veggies were fresh. The salad came with cornbread but I didn't try it. On my second visit, I decided to get the tri tip woith a side of baked potato and coleslaw. The baked potato was $3 extra. The tri tip had really good flavor and texture. It ripped apart easily when pulling. The coleslaw was ok. I might get the mac and cheese or beans next time. My wife ate the baked potato and ate most of it. I tried a little bit where it was just the potato and it was not overcooked and not too undercooked. It was easy to scoop with the fork without too much effort. If you are in the area and craving for BBQ, I highly recommend trying this place. The portion is not as big as BBQ joints in Texas or KC but they are on par with the ones around San Jose. The pricing is decent and like I mentioned, is also on par to San Jose pricing. If you have a big group, there are plenty of tables to accommodate folks. The location is close to the highway so that's a plus. The staff is very helpful and will give you a good recommendation if you are debating on what to order.

Just never got around to working a review before. Went early on a Saturday evening recently and was surprised to not have to wait. We split a Bibb lettuce salad that was simple, refreshing and perfect. A tiny pea fritter was the very definition of a small bite, and while it wasn't what I expected, it was crisp and tender. Grilled artichoke was one of the best I have ever had. (Just wish they had been explicit on the menu that it was a half a grilled artichoke). Cocktails were up to their usual high standard -- rye Manhattan for the BF and clarified milk punch for me. I don't get out much these days and I rarely drink alcohol, but is $20 a lot for a cocktail? Or is that normal now? They were great though. BF got the ribeye with morels, which was perfectly cooked and unbelievably tender. I had the burger, which was more exciting than it sounds, dressed with a wild combo of veggies, cheese and bacon while still managing to be harmonious and fresh tasting. Side of fries were crisp and tasty, though not as perfectly hot as I would ideally wish. Because the burger was late coming out, or server (Bernardo I think?) comped us an amazing little dish of vanilla soft serve ice cream with olive oil and sea salt, along with the butterscotch pudding that we ordered. The pudding didn't have the strong butterscotch flavor that I hoped for, but the vanilla ice cream stole the dessert show. OCK isn't a place I can afford often, but I still really like it. I appreciate the creativity of the dishes, the quality ingredients, and the bar. And the old-school shopping center vibe of the Pruneyard is low key festive and garden-like. He rarely checks back to see if our food is okay, whether we need refills, or if there's anything else we need. On multiple occasions, our order has been taken carelessly and has been incorrect. What has been especially upsetting is watching him go out of his way to serve his regular customers--bringing them complimentary drinks, checking on them frequently, and making them feel valued--while we are treated as though we don't matter. I have even been asked to move tables so his regular customers could be accommodated. I've been a customer here for two years, yet I've never been made to feel like I belong. Instead, I've consistently felt judged, stereotyped, and treated differently from others. Whether intentional or not, the pattern of behavior has left me feeling that I was treated unfairly because of who I am....feel like this place is racist! A restaurant should make every guest feel welcome, respected, and valued. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience here. I can overlook the occasional mistake, but I cannot overlook repeatedly being made to feel invisible. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures that every customer is treated with the same level of courtesy and respect. Until then, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

I have never once been disappointed with a dish, and I love trying new dishes on their menu. The staff is awesome, and the place has a cool astehtic vibe. I highly recommend, just know that it is a bit pricey but the experience is totally worth it. P.S. they give you palate cleaners snack in between courses for free. They also gave us a complimentary caviar cone, which was such a nice surprise and was savory and delicious. We also tried the bruschetta, which was super yummy, along with the octopus, which was flavorful and cooked perfectly. I came back a second time with my best friend and we ordered the New York strip. Unfortunately, that was the one disappointment. The meat was pretty tough and not nearly as tender as I would have expected, especially considering the overall quality of the restaurant. The cocktails, however, are amazing! The ambience is beautiful and the service has been wonderful both times I've visited. Overall, I really enjoyed both experiences and would definitely come back. The only reason I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars instead of 5 is because of the quality of the steak on my second visit.
