It's been a while since the crew and I have stopped by Bill's offa Kooser and today's visit only solidified all the greatness that we've been missing!! Reservations not allowed but we walked in requesting for outdoor seating for 5 and the staff was able to accommodate fairly quickly. Ice waters were immediately brought out along with menus. After taking the time to oohhh and ahhhhh over the menu, I decided to go with Bill's steak sandwich and fries. Food is tasty and the menu is pretty big. Items range from your typical breakfast items to sandwiches, burgers, & salads. Servings are huge and will leave even the hungriest patron happily satisfied. 5/5 stars. Thank you to our server for the attentive customer service. Our waters and ice teas were never left empty and we were constantly checked on. My only complaint was the amount of work it actually took to eat my steak sandwich. I anticipated the typical steak slices as opposed to the brick that was placed on top of the toasted French roll. Bills is a go-to breakfast place for my family. The waiters are always so nice, really excellent service. The food is amazing every time, the specials came in handy this time especially with the strawberry lemonade that was FIRE. Lox bagel is great I just wish I could pick another bagel flavor with it because it is not very good, or is that already an option? If someone could let me know that would be great. Also they gave us a cream cheese that was used so that was pretty nasty. Fruit and eggs are alright. Overall though I'd definitely recommend bills, it's a nice simple breakfast place that's always reliable. read more

I am the biggest Bill's Cafe fan but I'm sad that the Kooser location did not meet usual Bill's standards food-wise the last two weekend we had brunch there. First time the biscuit was tiny and hard as a puck. We couldn't even eat past the first bite. The gravy was flavorless. The second time the biscuit was still small but much better. Hubby's country fried steak was missing batter(?) but the gravy was better. By the way I'm upset that there's no impossible meat as an option here like at the Alameda location. I love the morning quesadilla with impossible meat and the impossible meat skillet but none of that is available here. :( Other than that service was great as always. Always enjoy the coffee and the clean and comfortable atmosphere. My daughter loves the kids activity paper and crayons. She wanted me to make sure I share that. read more

Had an amazing time at Bills! The food was amazing. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Sylvia was our server and was very attentive and accommodating. We have been served by her once before, and it was great to have her again! We will definitely be back. I like that there is an outdoor patio, so next time we may try that, too! everything was neat and clean. I like the benedicts. It's enough for two meals. My partner got the chilaquiles which came on a tostada, which was kinda neat. My partner also likes to get a table pancake to share, which is very delicious at Bills. Very fluffy. Sylvia also got us extra utensils for the pancake when she realized ours had been taken. She really pays attention to her customers. My partner tried the mimosa flight, which was great with different flavors. I like micheladas, which come with a salt rim. I asked Sylvia for a Tajin rim, and she was able to have the bar switch it for me. Super appreciative. So make sure to ask for a tajin rim if you don't like the salt rim. read more

Ordered to go and luckily the food didn't take too long to have everything finished! Pretty quick and painless. I tried the California Benedict and I really liked it! Though, they do go a little crazy on the Hollandaise sauce so it was kind of drenched, but I thought it still tasted pretty good! I do wish they cooked/grilled their country potatoes longer cause these were more on the raw cooked side. We also didn't realize their was sour cream in the omelette so my dad had to remove that. I also ordered a latte ($7??) and I thought it was just okay. It was really sweet, and they added whip cream on it, which I didn't know they would do that lol. Overall, the food was pretty good! My go to breakfast/brunch spot in the Bay. Everything on the menu is so good and they never disappoint! Their food always tastes great and their portions are a good size for the price! Before COVID, there were long wait times on the weekends, but getting take out is a great option! They have some of the best Belgian waffles and my favorite Benedicts! We are here at least twice a month if not more. The staff is the best, the food is delicious and insanely fast, and it's just an overall wholesome restaurant. The Benedict's and scrambles are always delicious, as are the banana pancakes, and the mimosas are famous in the area. This is my second visit to this location. I have to admit we were seated immediately, which is un usual, because Bill's is a popular breakfast eatery. Our server was nice, took notes on our requests and constantly checked on us for coffee refills. However, the cook was awful. My main request for my Denver omelette was I don't want any sign of being overcooked. I requested a soft omelette. The worst thing is a rubbery omelette and that what I received. I sent it back and I remembered seeing chilaquiles on the menu. They're saucy with tortilla chips. I was disappointed again with the eggs being overcooked and chorizo was in them with peppers and onions. The chorizo threw it off with the overcooked eggs. Their country potatoes were great and so was my buttered wheat toast. I left very disappointed. My friend is diabetic and wanted peanut butter with her waffle and it's not a condiment they carry. Their omelets are savory and thick. I ordered the meat lovers and it came with cheesy goodness and chunky pieces of bacon, sausage, and ham. :) Their pancakes are fluffy and delicious. It comes with a side of warm syrup and whipped butter. They are the best pancakes I've ever eaten! And I looooove pancakes! This is a busy breakfast/brunch place & we have been here in the past a few times & at other Bill's cafe in the area too. But today left a sad note & likely won't step in here again at this location. I had ordered for a Crispy Chicken Sandwich advertised on the menu as "New". Not juicy at all and quite dry although the appearance had no fault. I was hungry & just ate. Half way through the Waitress asks me how it is? I honestly told her it's very dry. She offered to provide ranch sauce to improve the moistness of the chicken! I was puzzled. How could ranch improve the moistness of the chicken? Anyway I humored her. Few mins later she came back & She stated she would replace it. It was a different sandwich than what I had ordered. By this time I was closed out in my mind to ear. I politely asked for a to go box with the intent to give the new sandwich to go to a homeless person I see. Atleast it's a meal for someone hungry to eat, I said to myself not wanting to be upset. The right way to handle such situations without back & forth is if the Customer is unhappy (it does not mean if it's half eaten or 1/4th eaten) either straightaway get a replacement order or give credit. I hope the management trains their Staff to be that way. Instead of playing the blame game. The Customer is Important is a less understood fact is what my take away is from this visit & I doubt I will ever visit this Bill's Cafe ever again with my wife. read more

Completely agree with the ratings. Food does not meet the expectations of any other Bill's cafe. We ordered mimosa which was supposed to come with freshly squeezed lemon juice. We were seated at the bar so could clearly see "the freshly squeezed juice" which came out of the Sunkist bottle! Omg bottled juice claiming as fresh OJ. The orange juice squeezed was turned off the whole time and did not look used. So unless they squeezed all the lemon hours before the restaurant opened I'm not sure about this magical fresh juice. We ordered California eggs Benedict over corn tortilla. Now we got tortilla because when we asked for gluten free bread or muffin option the guy said they could do over tortilla. Sounded good to us. What came out was a veggie omelette with a side of tortilla!!! My daughter got scrambled eggs with 1 toast and bacon.
