We went to their jazzy brunch a couple of months ago and it was nothing out of the ordinary. Okay food, I think they forgot about our table initially because it took forever to get waited on. Most disappointing was how loud it was. To be fair, the hostess recommended a quieter area but we wanted to sit in the main dining room which may have contributed to our table being overlooked. I regret that choice. I am giving 3 stars because normally I'm a fan although this was my first brunch there and maybe it just wasn't their best day. read more

We have been to Bistro Niko many times over the years. It is part of Buckhead Life Group Of restaurants. It's their version of a French dining experience. The mural is rather kitschy, but overall the decor is pleasant. The booths are the preferred seating and a drink at the bar is nice. When we were seated two of the water glasses absolutely filthy. That was a first for us at this restaurant and not the norm. Bring a sweater as the temperature is usually a bit cool in here. Nice during the summer months. The cheese gougers are wonderful little wisps of delight. There are about 10 to an order - perfect for four people. The sourdough bread is warm, but the butter is too cold and difficult to spread. The French soup is presented in white soup tureen piping hot from the oven. Quickly make an opening in the cheese topping to let the soup vent. Beware it is extremely hot, so use caution. I often ask for it to be made with less cheese because the massive amount of cheese can be overwhelming and make eating the soup hard to eat because it is so stringy. The flavor is light and not The white bean soup is also good. It's a hearty bowl of comfort in the winter months. Steak au poivre had just the right amount of crusted pepper and the cream sauce is a nice compliment. read more

Bistro Nikko was good buyer I think it's overhyped. Or maybe I just don't care gotte French cuisine. The vibe is pretty. It's obvious this is a go to for impress your date date nights, engagements, or celebratory dinners. The customer service was stellar. From the host to the wait staff and even the busser were attentive and timely. Libations. I had the elderflower champgne mini carafe. It was tasty but I finished off two before i felt a buzz. Should have stuck with a cocktail. The champgne punch would be an awesome brunch drink. My partner had a old fashioned. It was not earth shattering but it was well done and I'm learning increasingly how hard a good old fashioned is in Atlanta. Food. The menu is very seafood heavy. We started with the cheese puffs. They are quintessential French. A little puff pastry and gouda (or similar smooth cheese). My entree was the hanger steak and frites. This was the only flub of the night. I asked for medium and it came to the table 2 minutes before burnt. The remake took a little time. The waiter, manager, and a random employee stopped by while waiting and apologized. The when the steak arrived it was underwhelming. The frites were great. I dont even remember what my partner ordered... All in all. It was fine. I won't knock Bistro Nikko, this time i think it's me. I am from Louisiana and wanted to eat at an elegant French restaurant. We parked are truck in a safe parking garage within walking distance. This is not a casual restaurant. Time to get dressed in your hottest outfit. Tonight, is a night to fix your hair and show off those nails. The service here was wonderful. I mean the hardest workers. The bar keep made perfect signature cocktails quickly. The kitchen staff is on fire. A+ 10 Stars. I mean look at my photos! I could not have had a better night. read more

Everything was off. As other reviewers have mentioned the whole restaurant smells like bathroom cleaner. The air does not circulate and it's hot. So much so you are not able to relax. Butter was unsalted. Bread was sub par. Fish was overcooked. Streak had an awful chili sauce on it instead of butter. Waiter spilled water every time he poured it and didn't clean it up. Will not be back. Would suggest you look elsewhere to eat. read more

Bistro Niko offers the worldly diner a lively, vivacious French brasserie atmosphere in Buckhead. I was glad I was able to go for a weekend lunch, when the prices are a little cheaper than pricier dinner. There was complimentary warm bread, and our group split one of the daily special flatbreads ($14) as an appetizer; this one involved bacon so you can't go wrong with that. I went with the crisped duck confit as my main ($16). It was accompanied by a frilly frisée salad, bacon, and brioche croutons. The fowl was pleasing to me, but maybe a tad salty. Ironically, one of my companions also ordered the duck and found it to be bland. Consistency issues? To round out the lunch, I ordered the Lindt chocolate flourless cake ($9). It was ultra-rich, fudge-y, and so moist that you won't even miss the flour. Get this! Our waiter Turner (according to the receipt) was great: happy to answer questions about the menu, attentive, and friendly. Reservations suggested, Bistro Niko is on OpenTable. The seating was too close together, and it felt like our table was basically in the walkway. The single-person bathrooms were charming. Parking was a hassle though; valet or $elf-parking are the two main options. Guess that's Buckhead for ya. read more

"Love it" Never would've guessed this restaurant was a French restaurant. It was a pleasant surprise when my wife brought me here for my birthday, which also happens to be Valentine's Day. It was a set menu for the night and I had the following: 1) Starter: Escargot - my wife and I were a little disappointed that it was not there famous escargot served in puff pastry. I guess this means we shall come back to try it. Wine: Château de Sancerre, Sancerre Loire 18 2) Entree: Roasted Lamb Chops - always have to compare this dish to Hell's Kitchens' version. By comparison, I would give Bistro Niko a 4 out of 5 stars. Surprisingly each piece had a nice chunk of meat to enjoy. The lamb was seasoned and cooked well, a little gamey - but good. However, I didn't really enjoy the beans as its side. But overall very good. Wine: Louis Latour, A Beaune-Cote-d'or 17 3) Dessert: Crème Brulée a la Vanille. I think I would say this was the best dish of the night. I usually don't like sweets or desserts - but man this was good. Especially with the dessert wine. Not impressed. Was able to snag a renovation while on the way to the restaurant. Our waitress was ok, not warm or welcoming, just ok. We asked for an order of gougeres but the waitress said she had to check in if they could be made. 2 minutes later she appears with a basket of tiny "gougeres" there was no cheese to be found in it. They were dry and mini size, didn't resemble the pics on Instagram. I have had them elsewhere and they are filled with cheese. These were dried out empty puffs. Moving along, I ordered the steak and frites. Fries were divine, best I'd ever had. Though I had to eat from the top of the stack because the bottom fries were swimming in blood from the steak. The steak came out cooked to a medium rare- medium temperature though I asked for medium well. Since the waitress disappeared I just ate the outer pieces that were cooked a little longer. The outside was charred but not in a good way. It made the steak very bitter tasting and not pleasant. My spouse got the au poivore burger and it was just ok, nothing special. Waitress was absent so we didn't order dessert, we just paid using the QR code and left. This experience did not live up to what you would expect from Buckhead Life group. But I guess it makes sense based on the ample availability to book a reservation at the last minute. read more

I have been craving a French bistro experience so my wife took me here for a birthday dinner and I loved it. I had the Shrimp Sautee Provencal and it was lovely. The sauce was so flavorful that I was grateful for the bread that came with the dish. My wife got the Skate Wing, something I have never had before, and it was cooked to perfection. The capers really added a great finishing touch. For dessert our server recommended the Île Flotante. I was skeptical since I generally don't care for meringue, but we got it anyway. After my first bite I realized that have just never had good meringue before. Since it was my birthday I received a complimentary second dessert of Profiteroles. Even though we were very full we still managed to have a few bites. ;-) Nicolas was our server that evening and he was spectacular. Attentive but gave us our space, provided great recommendations, and was a pleasure overall. Needless to say on our next visit we will request him again. read more

Snobby older male bartender lol, but his service was okay. I sat at the bar, grabbed a bite & a drink. I ordered a Manhattan, it was packed with a punch! I asked the bartender to pick a bourbon of his choice, to fulfill my drink. There was kind of a gnat issue, not sure if there were open doors. This place was packed around 7ish. I went on to order the scallops with the mashed potatoes. My meal was very light and tasty. The salt and pepper shakers that was given was not needed. Looking forward to trying more of the menu. read more

Bistro Niko was one of my weekly go-to spots for years pre-Covid, but after my most recent visit, sadly, I likely won't return. I've long been a fan of all the Buckhead Life restaurants & have been a guest of the VIP Club at Chops Lobster Bar. Bistro Niko was a reliable part of Buckhead Life - good drinks, pretty good food & top-notch service. But my last visit was highly disappointing. The exceptional service I'd come to know & expect was sorely lacking. One individual wasn't just unprofessional, this person was insulting & offensive...on more than one instance. This alone was enough to make the visit my last, but the last straw: irresponsible Covid protocols. As a healthcare worker, I'm astutely aware of & appreciate settings that adhere to CDC's Covid public health guidelines. The dining room tables largely adhere. The bar, however, completely fails. Many restaurant bars have been able to get this right - they block off seats, remove seats altogether, install plexiglass, etc... to encourage responsible behavior in accordance with CDC guidance. Bistro Niko's bar had none of these measures. With no guidelines, strangers cram in to the bar, virtually sitting on top of one another. They don't have the respect or decency to ask if you mind that they sit mere inches from you. Because I have a family member who's been in the hospital with Covid for over 2 months, I have a heightened sense of awareness about good Covid behavior & this is the epitome of irresponsible. Food service people play an important role in protecting public health (ie prevention of food-borne illness). If a restaurant flouts Covid safety measures, one can't help but wonder about their adherence to food safety measures. If Bistro Niko neglects to provide a safe environment during a pandemic & they lack professional, respectful service, they don't deserve my business. There are way too many other deserving restaurants to support. read more

Everything was absolutely perfect. The ambiance when you walk in made me so impressed. The food and drinks were amazing. If I had to complain about anything - I wish the fries with my steak were a little more fancy. We paid almost $200 for 2 drinks, 3 apps, 2 entrees, and tip. I think this isn't too bad considering everything we ordered. The waiters were very caring and gave us a free dessert for my husband's birthday. We will definitely be back! read more

Very solid French food in a really cool location deep in the heart of Buckhead as part of the Buckhead Hospitality Group. The food was quite good though certainly not the most memorable. We have been to Bistro Niko about 3-4 times and Paris, FR about 5-6 times. I provide the second piece of information to provide context for my conclusion. While not an authentic experience with regard to they way it looks (much more spacious, not quite old and grungy enough), the food is quite good and comparable to what you can get in Paris. The steak tartare is excellent, similar to what you get in France and much better than what Gordon Ramsay serves. The other dishes we have had (mostly off the brunch menu) are also excellent. We have yet to have a real dinner here and I'll update once we do that. I only wish BN served Berthillon ice cream (preferably abricot). They have live music here if that is your thing. BN is way, way better than F&B which also serves French bistro food. I'll post my review of F&B. We only go to F&B because we can walk to it vs. a short drive for BN. read more

I have been going to Bistro Niko for a few years now so why not finally write a review? I made reservations for dinner to celebrate a family member's birthday here, as I figured the French-inspired cuisine would be a nice touch. Atmosphere: The staff were very accommodating of our party of 12 people and set us up in a cozy part of the smaller dining room. The lighting was just the right amount of dim, and there were European pieces of art in the form of paintings on the wall and small statues as centerpieces. Food: We ordered the Seafood Tartine and Mussels "Le Coze" as appetizers, and a plethora of entrees including the Entrecote Cafe de Paris (Ribeye steak) and La Bouillabaisse Facon du Chef (Seafood stew). Everything was absolutely delicious although, I felt the "seafood stew" lacked true flavor. Service: Our waiter was polite and brought us whatever we needed in a timely manner, and made recommendations on menu items for us. At the end of the night they brought out a complimentary birthday dessert which was well-received by the guest of honor for the night. A great night out overall, and I am sure I will be back very soon! read more

The food is adequate - no complaints or complements. The last two times we've been the service has been atrocious. This meal took 2.5 hours. It's not comparable to Buckhead Life Group's other restaurants. Very disappointing, we will not return. read more

I'd definitely come back just for that. I didn't order a full on entree but I did get dessert. The Crème Fraiche gelato to be exact. The olive oil drizzle sold me. While I don't think this is gelato, it was still good. To me, the texture gave regular vanilla ice cream. The olive oil gelato at Iberian pig is still number one in my book. I definitely want to try their garden menu which is exclusive to the patio area and the bread pudding. I hear it doesn't have raisins.

We arrived 15 minutes before our reservation, but were told our table was already ready, so we were seated. (The restaurant tables are very close together, so be aware that if anyone in your party is wheelchair bound, it may be difficult for them to maneuver around.) A woman brought water glasses and a water carafe to our table and said, "If you want something besides water, just let me know," and then walked off. So, in my mind, that woman was a food assistant or a food runner. Turned out, she was our waitress! She later stopped by, didn't introduce herself and didn't ask if we'd ever been there before, but did ask if we wanted an appetizer. We ordered Potato Pancakes. She also asked if we wanted bread service, so we said yes. We did notice from other conversations at the very close tables near ours, that many of the customers are regulars and have their favorite waitstaff. The manager had stopped by a table to regrettably inform a couple that their favorite waiter was out for 2 weeks. So, that did give us hope that if they have regulars, it must be good. The Potato Pancakes were delicious! (I didn't even stop to snap a picture because we were very hungry!) My husband ordered the "Bier" + Cheese Burger ($16.95), and I ordered the Pork Shank "Schwweinehaxe" ($34). The waitress said she had to check the availability of the Pork Shank, so I told her that if it wasn't available, to put in Chicken Wienerschnitzel. Then she didn't come back to let us know what the kitchen said. My husband flagged her down to find out if the pork shank was available, and she said she'd forgotten to come back, but that it was. He also told her that it was my birthday, so she brought out a cute birthday tea light for the table. The food was absolutely delicious, and for the price point, you can easily see why people are regulars there! The pork shank was enormous! (We ate off of it 2 more times after we took it home. The restaurant gave us extra gravy at no charge, too.) The rosemary mashed potatoes were very good! The presentation was lovely! My husband really enjoyed his burger. Then for dessert, our waitress brought out a slice of tiramisu with a wedge of chocolate cake over it, berries, whipped cream, and a little birthday candle in it. Turned out really wonderful! And let me tell you, Lord above, when I say I would do some things to eat this food again... words cannot describe how incredible it was. The homemade tortillas are the crown jewel here, turning good tacos into great ones. The guacamole is exactly what you expect, simple and comforting while the charro beans are the best I've ever had, seriously. Service is top tier and food is served quickly, which elevates the whole experience. I've been twice and I'll be back for another marg!

Not bad at all. It'd been a while since I had french food, so one day I decided to look up a couple of nice french restaurants in the atlanta/buckhead area I could take my date out to. Honestly, out of the many choices I had, I chose this one because it had better reviews than the others on several sites. That being said, the overall experience I had was actually good. We had 6:00 reservations - and we were a little late, roughly 6:20, and they still happily accommodated us. While they walk you to your table, you actually pass the kitchen - a neat little tease because you can smell the food and see the cooks working hard to make a perfect french cuisine. Once seated, we were delighted to get an actual french waiter, but obviously not every waiter there seemed to be fluent in french or seem french at all. Not a bad thing, but certainly a plus for my experience with my waiter. I chose a wine from their decent sized selection and my date chose a beer. It was brought out soon and we were checked on just the right amount of times before and after ordering our entrees. I chose the coq au vin, which was delightful. Everything about it was deliciously on point with coq au vin I actually had in France. Either that or just the environment made me believe it. My date had their flat chicken with vinaigrette plate (can't remember the name, sorry) and she loved it. She didn't even let me try it, though she did give me her asparagus. After dinner, we had ourselves a tarty dessert. That was a good finishing touch for us. We had the lemon pie, and it was large enough for the two of us. Overall, for the wine, beer, two entrees and dessert, I was out 60 bucks without gratuity. Overall, solid 4 stars. I simply can't give it five because I found it to be extremely loud in there, even though it was only a Tuesday night. Yes, they were busy and even still happy to accommodate us despite our tardiness, but I was kind of hoping for a quieter dining room so I wouldn't have to yell at my date. Heh. I have to say that as a 1st time visitor to Niko, I was compelled by the street-facing patio highlihghted by the city lights. Very inviting and intresting-especially on a warm spring night. Very warm and friendly when we entered. We were told patio was 1st come, 1st served. Okay. Found a table and sat. Hmmm.....finally a friendly mgr greets us to see yif we've been seen. NO. He returns w/menus and assures that someone will be right w/us. OK.....a few more minutes pass. A young lady approaches to tell us some1 will be w/us again. OK-in meantime, can we please get a table wipe? She returns w/a dry linen napkin to wipe dried glass rings & traces of previous guests dibree. 4real? .....then she says "Sorry, I don't see anything." Dbl blink, squint....seriously? OMG. She's got 2 b kidding. Whatever. Finally, another server comes over 2 take our order. Very delightful. As I tried to let the pseudo table wipe go, I couldn't. The friendly mgr returns to insure that we had been seen about. Yes & thank you; but could you please have someone wipe our table? The last young lady used a dry linen. (smile) He returned w/wet towel and made us happy. Thank you. Now I can exhale all that annoyance in my brain. Amateur hour at Bistro Niko. I hosted a graduation dinner on Saturday night. The food was poorly prepared: Fois Gras was undercooked. It fell apart when I tried to cut it. The Frisee salad had a puddle of water in the bottom of the bowl. Void of seasoning. The Duck tasted like it was boiled in water. No trace of flavor/seasoning. Limp skin. Cold veg on the side. The fish was a minuscule portion and tasted like the bottom of the Ohio River. Oh, and let's not forget what they ran out of: Skate (a signature item?). We were informed after we placed our order-- requiring a revisit to the menu to select another entree. And BREAD. Yes- a french bistro ran out of bread at 8:30 on a Saturday night. First the waiter told us that bread would be served with our salads. When that didn't happen he then told us that the bread would be out "shortly" When that didn't happen he asked if a manager had been to our table to let us know that Buckhead Life's Bistro Niko had run out of bread at peak time on a Saturday night. No manager had visited our table. A few minutes later the reception desk attendant appeared with a few pieces of a Kroger hoagie roll for the 4 of us to share. We chose this elegant French restaurant to celebrate our friend's significant career milestone. It's worth noting that our overall experience leaned more towards subpar than merely decent. Our server was slow to clear tables, and we had to request our complimentary bread, which arrived later than expected. Even our first serving of cheese puffs lacked the warmth it should have had. The restaurant wasn't overly busy, so these service lapses were disappointing. Regarding the food, we sampled a variety of dishes. The CLASSIC FRESH CHICKEN LIVER TERRINE AU COGNAC was enjoyable, though a bit more bread would have been welcome. The ESCARGOT "EN CROÛTE" made for a delightful appetizer, and the GOUGÈRES, light gruyère cheese puffs served in a basket, were truly outstanding. For the main course, I opted for the ROASTED BELLA FARMS CHICKEN "BOURGEOISE," which was a highlight of the meal. Desserts included creme brulee and rhum a baba. While the creme brulee was decent, the rhum a baba was slightly dry. Our choice of Malbec paired well with the meal and was one of the few elements that contributed positively to the overall experience. I just had lunch this past Friday at Bistro Niko. I was completely opposed to going because the last time I went my service was dreadful and I refused to ever return. The service was abysmal to say the least, but my friends really wanted to try it, so regardless of my opinion, I went, to let them form their own opinion. To my surprise, not only were they completely satisfied with their experience, but my faith had also been resorted. I believe our server's name was Scott. He was unbelievably amazing. I would recommend Bistro Niko to anyone, but most importantly recommend them to be seated in Scott's section. He was incredible. He was extremely charming and respectful. He got each of our orders perfect, which is important to me because I am picky as well as the fact that I have some severe allergies. He seemed to be busy but never made us wait at all. I was impressed by both the food and his quality of service. Scott thank you for your wonderful hospitality and for giving myself and my friends ,who came from out-of-town by the way, a brilliant lunch out together. Very disappointed in this Buckhead Life restaurant. Our server was good, but the food was not. My plate was served COLD. When our server came back around, I asked why my dish was being served cold. She apologized and rushed it back to the kitchen, where my overcooked dish was apparently microwaved (I don't know of any other way to get overcooked noodles that consistency). When it was brought back out it was just on the verge of disgusting. Thankfully, the soup comes in generous portions or I would have had nothing for dinner that night. No comps from the manager either. The place was so loud that I could not have a conversation with my husband right across from me in a 2 person booth. Our table was connected to a bar area only by a short wall. I could have had a conversation with the person at the bar table more so than my husband across from me. There must have been a contest at the bar for who could be the most obnoxious and loudest at the bar area on top of the general loudness of the restaurant. It's all about execution in most restaurants but it's especially true in French classical cuisine. Date night with the wife had us ordering several appetizers. The entree menu just didn't jump out at us. We shared foie gras, mussels, French onion soup, steak tartare and their signature pork belly. Everything was excellent except for the pork belly. The pork was over powered with salt so the flavor profile of the entire plate was overshadowed. I think we would have been happy with 6 plates of the foie. You can't go wrong by ordering the the soup either. Overall, I highly recommend this place if the menu is something you fancy. I prefer Eastern flavors but our background is French classical cuisine. I was in Bistro Niko a week ago for my birthday and I have to tell you that it was absolutely an incredible experience. The ambiance was beautiful, warm, and extremely comfortable. But most of all, the service was incredible. My server's name was Scott and he went above and beyond to make sure I had a wonderful birthday dinner. He never missed a beat, was an extreme gentleman, got our orders perfectly which is extremely important to me because I have a lot of allergies and he made sure that myself and my friends were well taken care of and that our food was on point. He did not hover or act overbearing towards us. He checked on us the perfect amount of time, but also gave us our space to catch up and enjoy our night. I would recommend this establishment to anyone. Also, if you do go there, there are two things you must try: ask for Scott to be your server and try the scallops because they are amazing! read more

What a bust! My friends and I came here on Sunday to enjoy brunch on the patio. We were looking forward to a nice glass of wine, fresh food, and good atmosphere. Hardly what we bargained for.There were protesters standing outside with bullhorns, posters, etc. protesting "foie gras" (I think this is some sort of liver thing). It RUINED our time. They were loud on the bullhorns, then the restaurant people cranked up the music. We couldn't enjoy our conversation, and certainly didn't want to see banners of dying geese that the people who walking around with. The food wasn't even that good. Seriously, Bistro Niko... deal with your POLITICS behind closed doors. NOT BY LETTING PROTESTERS STAND DIRECTLY OUTSIDE YOUR RESTAURANT AND RUIN MEALS FOR ALL YOUR CUSTOMERS. read more

Loved this place! The staff is very friendly! Nicky my server was so helpful with the menu and she seemed so warm! I ordered the onion soup and it was so good! I would have to say the best in town! I've had onion soup other places in Atlanta but this had a sweetness to it! It balanced the soup and it was well rounded. I also had the steak frites! The steak was tender and I had a side of the bearnaise sauce to dip my fries in. Good idea and that came from Nicky! I also had a cosmo and it was fine! I will return. Went for New Year's Eve They offered an overpriced menu that wasn't much if any different than their standard dinner menu, except for higher prices. An app of seared fois gras was cold. Both of our entrees were way undercooked and cold After cooking them further, they returned the dishes with the veg on the side colder still. Cappuccino was cold and replaced. By the time midnight rolled around the place was nearly empty. We started at 10pm thinking that dinner would be paced to end shortly after midnight. During a recent visit to the Atlanta area, Bistro Niko was recommended to me by a friend. Three of us went on a Friday night, and it was crowded and very noisy. The place was swarming with servers and managerial types, but the service was actually quite slow. I was dining with two friends, and we all decided that is was an "okay" experience but that we probably wouldn't go back again. There was nothing extraordinary about the food, and the noise was a real distraction. I loved the authenticity of the decor, but wanted the food to taste much better than it did. read more

Generally a pretty good meal. Restaurant is among the loudest in Atlanta. One needs to nearly shout to be heard. Only major gripe is the portion size of the entrees. VERY small. They try to mask the size by serving entrees on very small plates. I ordered skate. The portion was 4 to 5oz at best. The same entree at the same price at Atlanta Fish Market offers double the portion, at least. The french fries were uninteresting supermarket quality. Good creme brulee. The best classic French food AND French dining experience in Atlanta, hands down. I hadn't been in years but I took my girlfriend there for her birthday and we had such a great meal. The French Onion Soup was so full of flavor (and cheese), the mussels were both large and perfectly cooked (the broth was outstanding), and the Beef Bourguignons was rich and delicious. What a disappointment! My husband took me here for our anniversary. We were hoping for a romantic dinner with high quality food, and elegant atmosphere, and good service. Boy were we wrong! The food was "OK" at best. It was very greasy and seemed sloppily prepared. We MIGHT have been able to overlook all of this, except that the waitstaff and hostess were all so rude. Impatient and very snotty. With all the amazing restaurants in Atlanta, I don't know why anyone would waste their money (or time) on this one. read more

Elegant place to go after work! It's located very conveniently in Buckhead on the side of the road, so you can't miss it. It's mainly a business/professional crowd that comes here, there's many office buildings around here. The space is nicely decorated, French places always do a nice job of that. Food was good, wine selection was good. But you're looking for a spectacular experience of French cuisine, this is not the place. It depends on your expectations, it's a bistro afterall. read more

It's unfortunate that in the middle of pandemic a restaurant with food as great as this one has employees that care so little about public health. Our server was excellent our food was excellent and it was disappointing to watch the manager continuously walk across the restaurant with no mask on past diners that he was putting at risk. Even though more than 70% of the patrons at this restaurant are non-white, the staff caters only to its white patrons. The captain visits every table with white people to make sure that they're OK while neglecting all others. Don't waste your money at this type of establishment and stay away. Actually, if you're a journalist or documentarian and want to document race factors in the service industry, go to this restaurant because there's good material to be observed quickly. read more

One of my go-to restaurants in Atlanta. I can always count on an excellent meal, good wine and a great atmosphere that reminds me of Paris. Reservations are a breeze and the staff is always right on que. Its a busy restaurant, so I don't mind waiting a few minutes for a good meal. The hanger steak is very good, oysters very fresh, and escargot what I would expect. My only suggestion is that they change the menu from time to time. read more

I have had the opportunity to dine here a few times for dinner, which was always fantastic. Today, I wanted to try the Sunday brunch and I was regretting that I waited so long to try it. The duck confit and croque madame were superb. The cappuccino had the perfect froth. The service is always on point and it was quite pleasant having live contemporary jazz. They used to allow parking in the back, but now it's valet or street parking only. The valet service is complimentary, you just tip the valet attendant, and they accept Venmo. My boyfriend enjoys their beer selection. I've had consistently good experiences with the food menu, but I find the mocktails to be just average. They tend to be more fizzy and soda-like than flavorful. I imagine their cocktails and wine are probably a better choice. They used to have complimentary bread. Now the bread is a menu item. The outdoor seating is very nice, although it can get a little hot during the summer. They have both ceiling fans and standing fans to help keep things comfortable. The only downside is the number of flies. We constantly had to wave them away from our food. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The only minor issue happened at the end of our meal. We ordered a large dessert and asked if they happened to have chocolate ice cream. The server said he would check with the kitchen. However, before coming back to confirm, he brought us the chocolate ice cream as if we had already ordered it. Since it was already served, we didn't feel comfortable sending it back, and ice cream isn't exactly something you can take home. We ended up eating it even though we were already very full. Aside from that small misunderstanding, we had a great experience. The food is consistently delicious, the service is friendly, and it's a restaurant I would definitely recommend.

I have noticed that their prices listed on the menu are stale (to the detriment of the customer). On multiple occasions, we are surprised by a higher charge on the receipt than what was listed on the menu, but I let it go. Frustrating regardless. They really should update their menu instead of this nickel-and-dime approach....leaves a bad taste in our mouths.
