They have healthy options as well as a dessert called a pizookie - a pizza sized cookie ice cream delicacy! I had the ahi salad while my friend had the zucchini chicken pasta. I liked my salad but thought there could have been a few more slices of ahi to make it an entree salad for $19. I brought home one of the $6 chicken soba noodle dishes that was both a really good deal and a really good meal! Our server was really friendly and kept our water glasses full. The place is located in Redmond town center has ample parking. I recently did a to-go order of their deep dish and tavern cut veggie pizza, and I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and flavor of the dish. The deep dish's crust was perfectly crispy and chewy, and the toppings could be customized. The combination of roasted peppers, onions, mushrooms, and tomatoes, combined with the gooey melted mozzarella cheese, made for a great experience. It was large enough to share , and the portion size was generous, they also had a 50% all large pizza promotion making it a great value for the price. The tavern cut was a nice thin crust style of pizza I also tried their fudge pizookie ! - This amazing creation is the perfect combination of warm, gooey cookie and cold, creamy ice cream, making it the ultimate indulgence for any sweet tooth. The Pizookie is served fresh from the oven, with the cookie base perfectly baked and crispy on the outside while remaining soft and chewy on the inside. As a chain restaurant, BJ's Restaurant may not appeal to the "authentic experience, local vibe, trendy" restaurant-goer of today. Nevertheless, BJ's is like Cheesecake Factory or Red Robin in that it delivers a familiar American menu consistently in a nice and comfortable setting. I had not been to BJ's for a sit down meal probably since high school. The interior is still like old times but they have maintained it very well. Spacious, dark wood, and offering comfy booths, tables and bar seating. Menu is quite extensive and you can tell corporate is trying to capture the trends of today. The menu features Sriracha queso, quinoa, roast cauliflower, buffalo cauliflower tacos, and gluten free menu items. Good on them. They even have an "enlightened" part of the menu for the health conscious. I would have tried one of these new healthy fish dishes or vegetarian entrees but I was not hungry and went with a side salad. Side salad was standard. Good. Fresh. Surprisingly lightly dressed. Bf ordered the ribeye steak which came with 2 sides. He got mashed potatoes and asparagus. All were done well. Not overly seasoned or overcooked. (Bf did have to add a touch of salt and pepper to the steak). Best part was that we unknowingly came on Tuesday when they have half off wine and $3 pizookies. We each got a glass and were very happy with our wines. I especially liked the Meiona Pinot Noir. Very smooth and easy to drink. The monkey bread pizookie was addicting. The amount of ice cream was generous and speckled with vanilla bean. We were overall very happy with our meal. Our server AJ checked on us often and was both nice and funny. This return visit to BJ's was quite enjoyable and I am looking forward to returning to try one of their enlightened menu items and another $3 pizookie! read more

We've been here twice while we've lived here and overall it's a pretty decent representation of most BJ's we've been to. The food is so so, the service is hit or miss, but that pizookie is enough to keep you coming back for more. We've both ordered take out and dined in and both times food was just ok. The last time we dined it was when they offered a discount for veterans which was nice, not many places do that anymore. Our server was super friendly and helpful but had lots of issues with getting our order right. He was so nice and charismatic though it was hard to fault him and he said the secret words at the end which was-- how about a free pizookie on us? --Well well if that doesn't just seal the deal for me! I had tried to order the porkchop, as there aren't a lot of items on the menu that are gluten free, but they were out so I went for the steak knowing it probably wouldn't be the best. We had several hiccups with our appetizers not arriving (cause he'd forgotten we'd ordered any), then the husband's meal arrived but not mine, then mine arrived and the steak was well done vs the rare I'd ordered, then I ate my sides and we were done by the time my steak came out so we just got a box to go. The husband had the parmesan crusted chicken which he didn't finish. But then..the pizookie came out and it was gf and delicious and yes..that was why we came here. The pizookie is just so crunchy..yet gooey..and oh so gluten free I can barley stand it. So in sum, BJ's is really a solid 3. Rude and unreasonable hostess. My friend and I went to BJ's on a Thursday evening around 6:45 pm. We used to go every Thursday but stopped going after the service and the quality of the beer declined. After several months, we decided to give it another go but we're sorely disappointed. The place was about 10% full, with at least 20 empty tables in plain sight, but the hostess would not seat us immediately. We were kept waiting for many minutes without explanation. The hostess wandered off without telling us what was going on, and eventually returned with a stack of at least 10 menus, which she proceeded to wipe down very slowly, one by one until she had cleaned all 10 before she bothered to even look at us. Then she led us past several good, clean tables to a tiny table right at the back on a busy corner by the door to the kitchen. We said we would prefer to sit at one of the bigger tables that we had walked past, but she refused, saying they were for 4 people. She was rude and disrespectful. 1. If you aren't going to let patrons seat themselves. don't keep them waiting. 2. If you are going to keep patrons waiting, explain why 3. Hostesses are supposed to be welcoming, and should not studiously ignore patrons, deliberately walk and work very slowly, or keep patrons waiting unnecessarily. 4. Hostesses should be pleasant, not surly and disengaged to the point of passive aggressive hostility. Smile! Make the patrons feel welcome. It's your job. 5. You should let patrons choose where they would like to sit, especially on a quiet night when the restaurant isn't even 25% full. 6. When a patron isn't happy with the table offered, you should make some effort to find a better one. We were treated so rudely that we left. We will not be back. read more

We didn't get a chance to taste their beers or anything else. When we entered, we told that we want to seat outside. As we've got, we could just got and use any table. There was just 2 empty tables. Since it was hot outside, we changed our mind to seat inside. We went ahead and took unmarked table (some are marked as "don't take it - this is for COVID". We started to choosing what to drink and eat. Some guy went near by and asked how we got here. He asked that we can't sit here and need to join wait list that is approx 10 minutes. But... this huge facility is almost empty. There was around 3 people sitting there (200 people can easily sit there). That was odd. We took our stuff and went to the entrance. He asked our name and added us to wait list. And left. We looked at each other - like - what was that? We were sitting at the table in the empty brewery. We got to BJ's around 5 on a friday and got sat right away. Then, we sat at the table for about 15 minutes and no one came to ask us our order or introduce themselves. So, we ended up moving ourselves to the bar area since we had been told it was self seating. Once in the bar area we had great service! Our server was so nice and quick. We were disappointed with our appetizers but pleasantly surprised with the entrées. The spinach artichoke dip was very thick and very bland. The avocado egg rolls were just bleh. If you like the ones from the Cheesecake Factory, they are nothing like them lol. We got the grilled salmon with veggies and a couple of burgers. If they do one dish very well, I'd say it was the burgers. The veggie burger came with delicious pickled jalapeños and guacamole and my fried chicken sandwich was juicy and very flavorful. I like this place a little less than I like their name. Love the name and what it stands for. I came during the day for lunch. Got great, fast service and waiter was nice. There is a lot of tables here good for a group or to watch a sports game at the bar. The food was pretty good. Not knock my socks off but it filled me up. The price was awesome! I was super happy with that. Easy parking right by Redmond Town Center. Looked at the reviews here and was surprised because we had a good experience. The Good: - Happy hour burgers are only 6 bucks, and guac/chips and many more are cheap - The Cajun Jambalaya is delicious! - Santa Fe salad is good - Their burger is very good. Well done beef, and the right amount of condiments. - Proximity to Redmond Town Center, and heart of downtown The Bad: - Waiters here are extremely absent minded. During 4 out 5 visits, they forgot the appetizers, and/or the guac/salsa and chips. - Drinks are pricey - Many items including the above jambalaya, fries and some more, and quite salty - Some drinks outside of beer, are super sweet, and feel unnatural - Food outside happy hour is quite pricey. Jambalya was very good, but $20? C'mon now.... One good takeaway, if it's after 10pm, and you crave a burger, then come here. 6 bucks for an extremely good burger with fries is wayyyyy better than McD/BKing/Wendy's overpriced frozen burger. read more

My first time at a BJ's while visiting Redmond, WA. During my dining experience, guest occupancy was around 50%. I noticed that my server took the orders, but all food and drinks were delivered by another server. The appetizer dish was lukewarm and the server was gone for long periods of time. 30 minutes into my stay, the main meal arrived. I ordered the baby back ribs with two signature sides (mashed potatoes and broccoli). The ribs were undercooked, and I could taste the frozen aftertaste of the ribs. They were so tough that carving into the ribs gave a good workout to my biceps. The "sauteed" broccoli was raw and had a frozen aftertaste. I left most of the meal on the plate. After requesting the check, the server was gone for another 15 minutes before taking payment. I couldn't wait to get out of there. Will never go to a BJ's again! Came here a while back for dinner and for $4 pizookie Tuesdays. We were told the wait would be 15-20 mins so we waited for 40 minutes and checked back in with the hostess. They said they're understaffed so it might take longer. No worries, totally get it so we waited a little bit more. They sat us in the patio and we ordered our food. Our server Alex was quick and super nice! The food came and it was just not good or satisfying. We ordered the spinach dip which came out barely warm so we had to send it back to get it heated up and the chips were stale. The dip came back and it was just lukewarm... I thought it would come back HOT. On top of the dip, we ordered the BJ's Favorite Pizza, Boneless Chicken Wings and a pizookie which was all pretty mid. Two stars is generous, given because of the love my teammates have for BJ's pre-covid. Outside- the budget cuts clearly first went to landscaping because the front of this place looks like something from the miniseries on Chernobyl- huge weeds and neglected local plants. Not a crime, but the abandoned building look doesn't exactly draw in crowds. We were a group of 5, immediately tried ordering online because a giant sign told us that's where the menu is- then they gave us a paper drink menu. Weird. Also you can't order online if you're eating in, so don't bother. We sat outside, in what seemed to be the Ignore Us zone. Orders were taken, but a $4 fountain drink should be refilled if empty. We were never asked if it was one check or several, and the waitress ignored our repeated requests to get our table in the system to pay that way. She instead gave us different table numbers to try, then gave us a check and abandoned us. Food came in groups, awkward waiting to start as some had food and others didn't. Gal with soup had to ask for crackers, my flatbread California pizza had chicken so dry, it was like it had sat under a light for an hour. The tomatoes on it looked canned, but who could tell. One guy's small cheese pizza looked like a lunchroom order at an elementary school. My lunch was overpriced and under tasty. Yeah, the cookies are good but I was so deflated by the time that arrived, I didn't care. The waitress didn't seem to care, the entire place looked like the skeleton crew working it might actually BE skeletons. I am so used to both wonderful service, and edible food. Today, I was surprised at the level of odd this experience was. Our server, either liv or liz, was very sweet. She did an amazing job, despite working a dinner rush while seemingly understaffed. She told us she was sat in multiple sections, so I am certain she was doing everything she could. There was a manager-looking man running food and bussing tables, so I understand they were having a hard night. However, I received the wrong food, was missing a side, and no silverware. When we told him about this, he simply said "Uhhh I don't know, let me grab your server" My girlfriend finished her entire meal before we got the correct food. My ribs were half cold. It was crowded when we went and we waited the 45 minutes for our table which is okay because we were just walk-ins around peak hours for dinner. I had TWO strawberry blasts which were recommended by our waiter. I don't like the taste of alcohol THAT much but they were REALLY good drinks (hence why I had two). My friend and i split a deep dish pepperoni pizza and it was amazing! I ordered the California chicken club sandwich and my friend got a cheeseburger. He finished his burger which he never does, but he loved it. I enjoyed my chicken club. It was cold and was missing bacon, but the waiter already took note of that and removed it from the check without me having to say anything about it.
