This was a lovely outing for Veteran's Day! I ate here to celebrate the holiday, and because I am a Veteran, I was given a coupon for one free appetizer on a future visit- only valid through the month of November. I was also gifted a free regular pizookie that I decided to eat at my table (there's an option to order it to-go). For my entree, I ate the Sal's Brewhouse Chicken, which includes lemon butter sauce, mushrooms and a side of mashed potatoes & asparagus. My partner had the Enlightened Seared Ahi Salad. I have to admit, the food could have been better. I tasted both entrees and neither fully satisfied me, especially the chicken, which was a bit too salty. I forgive this because the service more than made up for it, especially from our waiter, "Hunter" who was super attentive to our table. My partner even said that he deserves a big tip for refilling his beer without him needing to request it. Also, the dessert was sooo good! I want to come back to use my coupon and try another version of the pizooke- I'm thinking of trying their Macadamia Nut. I'd be happy to come by again to give this place another chance; maybe those entrees weren't meant for me. Plus, I'm more than happy to try more of their desserts! read more

Got there at 11am yesterday because that's what time they open. Stood outside for 15 minutes while staff inside were moving around and some made eye contact. There were a couple of people waiting outside at this time. I thought , if this is how they run a restaurant and can't open on time or at least communicate, I'd hate to see what their service or food is like if I did actually get in. Went to BJs at 645 pm, ordered , and got my food at 8pm. The food was cold, and to make it worse I saw my waitress Kamia twice the entire time I was there. I asked her for ketchup and refill on a drink THREE times and received neither until a bartender, who was dropping off drinks for another table recognized that my cup was empty. She expressed frustration with my wife and I by asking , " is this the first drink i dropped off an hour and a half ago?" . The manager at this establishment and my waitress were busy fraternizing with a table of people they likely knew down the aisle for dozens of minutes. If I could leave ZERO stars I would. I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere. read more

My wife and I decided to stop in here for dinner. She really wanted the bread bowl. I decided to get the prime rib dip. Both were cooked very well. My meal was a little on the lukewarm side, hence the four stars instead of five however our server was excellent. My wife's bread bowl was steaming hot and tasted great. We went here for a 7pm reservation to meet up with old work friends. Plenty of space to relax and meet up. We ordered the three dip and salsa advertiser which was good but my plate was dirty and it was about 10 minutes before I saw a server to ask for a clean plate. I ordered the soup (chili) and wedge salad special that came with a cookie and ice cream. The chili was barely warm and watered down. My salad had to much dressing on it and not enough of the other ingredients that make a great wedge salad. Our waitress disappear for some time as I asked for a water refill a few times. Hi, experienced food service worker here, from table service to kitchen work. So, I came here for my birthday the other day. We got a plate where it had a half rack of ribs and a steak with some fries and a burger with some fries. About $30, and was touted to be one of the more popular menu options. Those ribs were awful. They were hard as a rock, inedible, he didn't eat it, didn't wanna send it back, and deal with any drama, which is understandable. The concept still remains, those ribs were sitting out for *hours* before they were served to us. If it can't come out FRESH, take it off the menu. I was very disappointed with the mediocre quality ribs primarily, the rest of the food was okay enough, but who wants to complain and fuss on their birthday really. Our server was very professional all things considering. The menu is absolutely massive and by the way, when a kitchen is spread too thin making too many different dishes it's not gonna be good. The front door had a rock that had gone through it as well, disgruntled employee? They don't seem to be treated very well, whole vibe is just off with this place. There are better places in town, and for these prices don't feel bad about spending a little bit more for better quality. Stick to what they do well and that may be anything else but the ribs, I'm not going back to find out. Having said all this we still managed to enjoy our evening, sadly it wasn't a very good impression for us. read more

Our party of 5 including 2 kids came thru on a Friday afternoon around 6pm. It took a few minutes to be seated although there was only 1 party ahead of us. The wait was worth it because we were seated in a long, family sized booth. It was our first time at a Tucson location. Our waiter was so down to earth and kind. The lighting was just perfect. I work on the computer so I do not enjoy bright lighting. The restaurant was well light but not too bright and there were several TV screens throughout. We started with a round of beers for happy hour. Our group's orders included: sliders, chicken pot stickers, rack of ribs, hamburger w/fries, rack of ribs, and kids tender combo). My brother and I visited this location for lunch. He had never visited a BJ's before. There are no BJ's Restaurants close to his home near Philly or my home near Savannah. We need them there!! When we arrived, we were quickly seated and waited on. The restaurant can hold quite a few people, but during lunch had many open tables. We ordered off the lunch menu which was $13 and included a Pizookie. I had the fried chicken with potatoes and succatash. It hit the spot. For dessert, we split a cinnamon bun pizookie which was good, but very filling. Its near several strip malls and there's plenty of parking. read more

Very comfortable and somewhat upscale restaurant with a full bar and at least 45 or more craft beers on the menu. They have lunch specials as well as Happy Hour specials. I had the salad and pizza and it was delicious. The salad was fresh and crisp with a very tasty dressing, the pan pizza was loaded with toppings as well as flavor and an added plus was the pizzolie that came with meal. It's a small fresh baked cookie of your choice topped with a scoop of ice cream. First time here and won't be out last. read more
