Was my very first time coming here and I must say I am glad I did. We were celebrating a great win and came with our dear friends that have been helping us out and I am glad we came here for dinner. We were a party of 7 and our server was very accommodating. She was kind courteous and went above and beyond for us. We had a mix up on temperatures on 2 of the steaks but it was fixed right away. We all had steaks and some had shrimp and some had lobster. The sides were so delicious. We had the cheese bread and waygu dumplings as appetizers. The general manager stopped by our table and gave my little one ice cream. He was a very kind man and appreciated the kindness he showed our party. Will definitely come back here again soon and thank you the manager and staff for amazing service.

Decent steak, okay sides. Came for the bogo meal which is pretty worth the deal. Service is pretty slow but that's expected of these types of restaurants. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's pretty spacious inside and we didn't have to wait for a table even though it was pretty crowded.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I received emails from them - Prime Rib day! Special offer! $25 (usually $32.99). So we tried it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place itself is somewhat run down, it was about 4pm and near empty.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the prime rib, medium plus baked potato, salad and a glass of wine. Mrs G can NOT have any sign of pink in her steak so she opted for burger and carefully spelled out "well done - no pink (health condition) - but NOT burnt. Ideally cut the burger in half while cooking". This always works at Fatburger - no problem. However at Black Angus it was a fiasco. The server delivered a totally burnt burger and had a horrible attitude, nasty to the extreme. And no way would we even consider having her prepare another burger for fear of what she might do with it - yuk! We told her to take it all away and deduct from the bill. I had taken a couple of bites out of my prime rib and all the salad and 1/2 my glass of wine so felt obliged to quickly gobble down some of mine. The manager was very nice, said that he would speak to her after we left and gave us every discount possible and nothing for the burned burger. Hence 2 points rather than the zero I wanted to give. Beware of burned burgers! We went to the nearby Capital Grill for dinner for Mrs G. Night and day difference - wow!! Yes double the prices - but 10x the service and quality of the food.....

Service is always great. Thank you to the very nice waitress who helped us recently. There is always a huge parking lot and parking is free, which is always nice. Unfortunately, this most recent visit was disappointing. I have ordered the Steak Cobb salad with no cheese before and enjoyed it, but this time it was quite small and had a large end-piece of lettuce in it. The salad proportions have also seemed smaller recently, but this visit it was especially small. Most of the lettuce had reddish edges and appeared to be getting old. The steak was also not well done, which is what I had requested, and there didn't appear to be any dressing on the salad. The avocado was also mostly brown, which I know doesn't make it bad, but combined with everything else it really made the salad look unappetizing. When I asked for dressing, the waitress mentioned that they are often stingy with it and said she knew because she has ordered the Steak Cobb herself. She was very nice and brought me some. The menu photo of the salad on the website looks very different from what I was served. See photos of the salad I received for details. I sent an email about this experience and received an apology with a request for my phone number. I haven't responded yet and am not sure if or when I will be back. I have been a customer for over ten years. When I think of eating out again, this place just doesn't sound as exciting as it used to. I may go there again at some point, but I'm not as motivated to return like I used to be.

To be honest, I didn't have high expectations but was excited to try out what Black Angus had. I was surprised to find a lot of people eating there! The food was solid and the prices weren't bad! The campfire feast is a great deal if you're not tempted to throw in a to of add-one.I liked the prime rib. The garlic butter sauce we got on the side was a bit salty. The crème brûlée was great! I would have given my experience at least 4 stars at least but we found plastic within the onions on one of the dishes. Could have been remedied but we mentioned it to our server and there wasn't any further action or follow up.

New wine off month is very good.... despite being a screw of cap.

If you don't have the BA Rewards program, you should get it. We visit our local [not Burbank] BA often and love the Happy Hour and the many specials that BA sends to their Rewards members. On this occasion, we dropped of our daughter and came here to try the new Manhattan Strip and Shrimp. This was one of our favorite steaks and the grilled shrimp were so good. We saw that our local GM, John, was here and he mentioned that he had moved here because it was closer to him. He always did a great job at our location and I am sure they are going to be happy he is now here. We ate at the bar tables and enjoyed their wine of the month. The Pino Noir was very good and love the Member prices. This is your typical BA design; very nice and comfortable.

My husband took me here to celebrate my birthday (8/27.) Prior to this experience, we have never been to black angus steak house before. We got the Spinach & Artichoke dip with chips and it was delicious! It was dusted with bread crumbs and that really added a nice touch! My husband said it was the best artichoke dip he has ever had. I got the 6oz filet mignon with the twin lobster tails and it was delicious! Super filling! For my sides, I got broccoli and au gratin potatoes. My husband got the 8oz filet mignon with a baked potato and Mac and cheese. My son got the chicken strips from the kids menu. All in all, we had a great experience. Service was fast and friendly. Lots of parking space in the parking lot, and inside was nice and cozy. Taking one star off because my husband had paid extra for a celebration reservation and they did not do it here at this location. (They ended up not charging him for it, but why even offer it if they don't do it at this location)

Bad service, we are loyal customers and the person that attended us was rude to us from the start. Asked us for id for drinks, but not to the other table behind us ordering drinks. My friend is 43 years. And not even checked up on us. Gave an attitude from the start.

Paul G. wanted to take me out to dinner one Friday night, and we saw that there was still a Black Angus in town... we hadn't been in years and I don't know that I had ever been at all! The restaurant was almost empty on a Friday, and we were seated quickly. It's a huge space with a full bar area, screens everywhere playing sports, and good music volume. Paul ordered a Guinness, which wasn't poured correctly and was pretty flat when it reached our table. I ordered an espresso martini and then a prickly pear margarita (margaritas are pretty customizable with flavors and tequila types) which I really liked. He ordered a steak, and I went with the twin lobster tails with a side of lobster asparagus and mac and cheese. I know that I shouldn't have expected much, but the lobster was on the dry side and a very small portion. The complimentary bread was great and so was the fried shrimp appetizer, and we both really enjoyed the steak... next time, I'd stick with that and avoid the seafood! Service was pleasant and attentive. It's a chain and nothing super special about this location, but the prices are super reasonable for the dinner we had.

We had DinLA dinner at Black Angus in Burbank, CA tonight. We were a party of three. I had the DineLA menu and my guests had the regular menu promotion for two. Staff were friendly. Drinks and bread were refilled when requested. The food was ok, but not at the quality and tenderness level I usually like. The flavor of the steak was good. The portion size was a bit small for my Filet. Overall a nice meal. Parking: private lot Rating: : stars

We chose the Three Course Dinner for Two, and it was absolutely the best decision. Everything was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, but the highlights for me were the potato soup and the wagyu dumplings -- both were incredible and full of flavor. You can really tell the kitchen puts care into every detail. The food overall was excellent, well-seasoned, and very satisfying. Every course felt balanced and enjoyable, making the whole dinner feel special. I'm honestly in love with this place. It was such a wonderful experience, and I can't wait to come back again. This restaurant has a very pleasant and inviting atmosphere. The space is comfortable, clean, and beautifully organized -- the kind of place where you can truly relax and enjoy your time. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The service was excellent. The staff was polite, attentive, and very friendly throughout the entire experience, always making sure everything was perfect at the table.

They do have parking behind the building which seems to fill pretty quickly if they're busy, but it's easy to find parking around the neighborhood. I am not usually in the tavern scene so I was surprised that we had to order and pay at the bar, but it wasn't a big issue. My friend and I split the kale caesar salad and the macaroni and cheese. For the table, I ordered the waffle fries after being informed by the kind waitress that that was the better choice over the pretzel (which she also said was amazing). Since the place was filling up for the final, the kitchen was a bit slow, but we barely noticed with how attentive the staff were in getting us drinks and refills. When it came to food, we were pleasantly surprised with this place and is honestly the reason I'm writing this review. The first things we got were the Beef Tallow Waffle Fries, Caesar Salad, and mac and cheese. Obviously the fries were much better, however the salad was also divine but just swimming in dressing. Back to the fries, we all were mindblown with how tavern fries could be this good and had so many flavors. Even the skinny queens in our group kept snacking on them which tells you how good these were. Mac and cheese came and it was standard and creamy but not necessarily something I'd return for. The surprising thing on top of the fries that majority of us loved was the Vegan Tomato Scampi with shrimp. It was fire and had me questioning if it was even Vegan. Would definitely return here if I find my way back to SoCal from the Bay. Great unassuming place with great food and vibes. Their bathroom as well is super clean and nice! Love this place!

We were seated right away and our server gave us great recommendations. Unfortunately, after our appetizers arrived, the service disappeared. For 45 minutes, no one checked on our table. Our water sat empty for about 30 minutes, and after realizing no one was even looking our way, I finally got up to ask for a refill. It took three requests. We also waited about an hour for three pasta dishes and finished our entire bottle of wine before dinner arrived and more water to arrive. The most frustrating part was watching the lack of organization unfold. The owner, who appeared to be running expo, offered our appetizers to three other tables before they eventually made their way to us. When our entrées came out, those were offered to another table first, too. It genuinely felt like our table was invisible. My husband and I both worked in hospitality, so we understand that restaurants get busy and mistakes happen. We intentionally didn't want to make the server or staff uncomfortable. But when guests have to repeatedly ASK to be served and still receive almost no service, something in the system is broken. I've gotten better service at a fast food restaurant. I don't write this to discourage people from supporting a local business. I want small businesses in our community to thrive. But that also requires accountability. In this economy, dining out is a meaningful expense for many people, and a nearly $400 dinner should come with a fundamentally different level of service. At minimum, an experience this poor warranted proactive acknowledgment from the owner. We didn't receive that. There are too many great local restaurants working hard for people's business. I sincerely hope the owners take feedback like this seriously and work the feedback into ongoing staff training. We watched the table next to us get amazing service but where that other server fell short is when they didn't step up to support their fellow server (ours) when she was clearly spread thin. The goal of a restaurant should be to make good food and to create an experience where all guests feel taken care of even if tables fall outside of staff sections. I hope to hear Palma's service improve and they enjoy a lot of successful years as a result. We genuinely wanted this place to be one of our nearby treats. I would rather travel further and spend a little more for the service and food places like Mozza and MotherWolf. For local Italian, we're gonna just keep going back to Ma's. For local steak, Capital Grille's service is exceptional.

Ambiance: Modern with dark tones (some parts of the restaurant are dark), leather chairs, emerald-colored booths. It's definitely stylish, classy with a mix of intimacy; there's some good energy here. The square shaped bar is stylish with marbled counter and chair stool seating; there's a couple TVs within view sitting in this section. There's also the main dining room as well as a partially covered patio. Good music. I've sat in the bar as well as the main dining room and find them both enjoyable. Service: Service has always been great the times I have been with everyone being professional, friendly and addressing needs easily from ownership, management, and all staff members. Food: A good mix of starters, fresh seafood, salads, steaks of course, various side dishes, and some other entrees. A few of my favorites include the wagyu meatball steak tartare jumbo shrimp cocktail chopped salad 6 oz petit filet 32 oz porterhouse mashed potato mac & cheese The steaks I've ordered have been cooked well to my liking and the meats have always been tender and seasoned well. The wagyu meatball is very tender with good flavor, the vodka sauce is not overpowering. Love the chopped salad with the red wine vinaigrette and the crunch from the crispy chickpeas. Mashed potatoes are creamy and very good. The jumbo shrimp cocktail is great and comes with three shrimps served with lemon, mustard aioli and cocktail sauce. Drinks: Great classic and off-menu cocktails, a couple beers, a couple non-alcoholic cocktails/mocktails, champagne and a wonderfully curated wine list. My ultimate favorite is the BLVD martini made with gin. It automatically comes with a half-filled side shaker effectively giving you an extra pour for a great value and experience. Happy hour: 5-6pm in the bar only, featuring some discounted cocktails and foods (from the main menu but with the addition of a burger) Parking: There is valet parking available (currently at $15). There is street metered parking as well on Ventura Blvd. Prices: Comparable to other steak house establishments. drinks: cocktails $19-26, wines (glass) $14-40, starters: $6-48 (the main ones are in mid to high $20's), seafood: $29-mp, salads: $19-20, sauces/butters/toppers $2-28, sides:$15-42 (the main ones are in the $15/16 range), steaks: $62-198, other entrees/favorites: $32-56, happy hour: expect to find cocktails at $12-19, wines/champagne $12-59, food $8-87) in the bar only 5-6pm Fun Facts: -Their sister restaurants are Taisho and Casita which you can find within a few blocks -BLVD Steak opened up a second location in Calabasas in 2026

Not only did she ask the chef's first hand the answer, she came back and showed me documentation. She went above and beyond, and I truly appreciated it. It also meant that I was able to try the delicious Caesar salad that I hear everyone rave about. We also were able to partake of the crab cake, wagyu ribeye, and our must-haves of pretzel bread and truffle gnocchi. We are also slowly making our way through the cocktail list. Banana maitai (I think would be even better if you added ice cream to it and made it a alchy-float) Espresso martini with reposado! (Validation! I prefer tequila over gin and this helped prove my palate was correct) Dessert wise, you can't go wrong with the butter cake. We also tried the chocolate cake. Both are excellent, and if you have room, then get both. Special thanks to Chad for always being amazing and welcoming us so warmly. Additionally, I truly appreciate it when my little one was looking for the bathroom and Chad kindly pointed them to the correct door.
