Disappointed in the 100$ we spent on our meal. Our server was nice but forgot to bring my wine. Filet mignon was the worst I've ever had. My husband said his prime rib was okay. Happy hour...super packed...super empty...doesn't matter The waitresses arent in a hurry to bring your food or take your order. Some are nice but that doesnt Make up the fact that they are super slow once ordered a beer and it sat on the bar so long the beer was hot when it came to the table so of course it was sent right back. My wife and I haven't been to black angus in over 3 years and we are truly glad we went back. In a matter of 2 weeks we have gone twice. We did the feast for 2 for $50.00. It comes with an appetizer and 2 main courses, 2 sides for each of us and a dessert to share at the end. We had the top sirloin steaks and they were juicy and perfectly cooked the way we requested. We had a delicious chicken appetizer to share and my wife had the creamy potato soup and broccoli on the side and I had green beans and mashed potatoes. We shared everything of course. We ended it with a chocolate chip cowboy cookie and vanilla ice cream. The cookie was hot and gooey and the ice cream topped it off well. Everything was delicious. The service was incredible, we had Sean the waiter seat us the first time and he went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of, and the 2nd time we arrived he was our waiter. He was pleasant and always made sure our glasses were full and our food was the way we like it. He even suggested we cut into it to make sure it was prepared the way we requested it. Sean is a master waiter because based on the service I thought I was at a 5 star restaurant in Paris or Beverly Hills. He really went out of his way and we really appreciated it!!! We visited Black Angus on Monday 12/16/24 at 6:30pm, got seated right away. We ordered our food as our server asked for our drinks. We waited 2 full hours to receive our food, our food came to the table at exactly 8:40pm. We waited so long that our server gave us 2 rounds of bread and 2 complementary appetizers, aside from the appetizer that came with our meal. We had to ask for the desserts that came with our meal to be packed to go. We have never experienced this service before. We usually get our food in a timely manner. We understand when it's busy, there's a longer wait. But on this Monday evening, the restaurant was not by all means extremely busy. By the time we left home it was about 9:20pm. We came with our kids ages 8, 3 and 1 so by the time we received our food, they were extremely hungry and cranky. We were only a party of 5, with four meals total. This one star isn't for our server, she was very sweet but this is for the experience this day. I really hope this doesn't become a reoccurring thing. read more

My fiancé and I came here for dinner on Monday night. The last time we tried to have dinner here, there was a very long wait, and for good reason. We were served by a waitress named Ashley and she was very sweet, and accommodating. We came in with a coupon for $47 that I found in the weekly coupon section of the paper. The coupon was a pretty good deal considering that it was a $15 discount from the $62 couple's platter that they serve. All of our food was amazingly good and very tasty. Ordered a Togo order and it was the worst mess i have been served ... my steak was literally cooked like a HOCKEY PUC... I ASKED FOR MEDIUM WELL .. It was beyond well done very very dry .. no seasoning and I paid to up grade to a Rib Eye I was very disappointed my sides were cold . Then when I called in to speak to management the man that was the manager had the audacity to tell me that what I knew came with my order didn't . We began to go back and forth my self and this man who was not trying to help resolve my issue at all .. poor management that day . I will just say go in a sit down and eat . I went in on their $35 Entree coupon and got a medium rare prime rib with both my sides being macaroni and cheese. I waited over an hour to get my food, which I was taking to go. When I got home, I looked at the meal. The prime rib was rare, bloody, and red in spots with no medium to it at all. The macaroni and cheese look like half an order of each scoop. I was so disappointed, I waited until the next day and called the manager. She told me she couldn't do anything about it, and I needed to call and talk to the manager who was on at night. My daughter and I went back that night and spoke to the manager. He was rude and condescending, and I was shocked at how badly he treated a customer. It's sad that Black Angus is paying so much money to get people into their restaurants, to have the staff behave so badly. 05/04/2023 I received a call from Carol, the general manager, who was friendly and very professional! Cant go wrong with the food or drinks but I recommend takeout or going when it's good weather. To cold for outdoor dining. even though you have a reservation and supposedly have only certain amount of time to be dining you will be there longer. We decided to pickup dinner from Black Angus for Valentine's Dinner and it was great! We decided to pre-order our dinner a few days ahead online to not only make sure it was ready when we got there but to also give the restaurant a heads up before the VDay rush started. The whole online interaction was easy peasy. We had two orders of Prime Rib, two lobster tails, mashed potatoes, baked potato, caesar salads, a shrimp cocktail and a slice of pumpkin pie. The steaks were "cut with a spoon" tender and delicious. The lobster was cooked perfectly; not rubbery at all. Both potato dishes were great. The pie filling was not only creamy but full of flavors like cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. Also all the 'fixings' sauces and butters for the entrees and appetizer came loaded in little cups to make sure nothing spilled out of the containers and to make sure the food stayed fresh for the ride home. The order was brought to our car within maybe 2 or 3 minutes of clicking the "I'm Here" option on the email and the gentleman who brought our food to us was extremely polite, even in the short interaction his kindness was overflowing. The one issue we had however was one of the two salads was very wilted and a tad slimy in some places. The lettuce was definitely not good to eat. While the dinners and appetizer came with their appropriate toppings and sauces the salads did not come with the caesar dressing as well. It wasn't something we were going to drive to the restaurant again to get fixed. But a serving an inedible salad is an attention to detail that should be addressed. First, the Lancaster location of Black Angus appears to be going through a renaissance in terms of the improved quality I've seen recently. And second, you should be reviewing your local newspaper to see what coupons are being offered by this chain. Today we went with friends for lunch on a $37 per couple coupon which included a shared appetizer, entree for each person, and a shared dessert. All that food for just $18.50 per person !!! And there was enough steak left over for a sandwich tomorrow :) They had other amazing coupons in the newspaper also (e.g., $6.99 for entree with drink purchase). The bad news --- We went for lunch instead of dinner (dinner begins at 4pm during the week, 3pm on weekends) so we could not order as our sides their creamed spinach which is delicious, but unfortunately it is only available during dinner hours. You ask, "Seriously, you order spinach for both of your two allowed sides?" Yes, we like it that much. The good news --- All four of us ordered the ribeye steak with the specific request that the chef look for well-marbled pieces and prepare it medium rare. Although I might get a better grade of beef at Arnie Morton's, nobody could have prepared today's ribeye better. It was exactly what we requested, well-marbled, tender and perfectly medium rare. The chef deserves accolades for getting it exactly right. Served sizzling hot and with the melted butter on top, we all agreed it was YUMMY!!! When ordering the appetizer, asked my husband which one he wanted to share. His answer? The same one he used for that question on the dessert choice ... "The most expensive option, of course, so I can really feel I'm getting my money's worth!!!" I wouldn't normally expect to rate a chain at 4, but the steak and spinach deserved it :) read more

Comes with two sides I chose steak soup and the baked potato. Four bucks extra to make it to twice baked potato with mushrooms. Everything was good except my steak soup had zero steak and kind of taste like floor cleaner. Maybe someone should look into the steak soup. Plus, you get a desert.
