Such a cozy spot. Needed some breakfast before a busy day and this one popped up as one of my choices. Glad we decided on going. The host sat us down quickly, the waiter brought us water and was ready to take our orders. I ordered a very simple breakfast, eggs, toast, hash brown. My mom ordered pancakes with eggs and that pancake was not only homemade but amazing! I ended up stealing it. Highly recommend this cozy spot. They are opened early too. read more

Well decided to try this place since it replaced Biscuits. Most certainly disappointed. I ordered the Cinnamon French toast which was so obviously nothing special just by looking at it and then even more bland tasting it. Partner ordered the Irish hash skillet dish. Almost no hash and almost entirely potatoes and Green bell peppers. He couldn't finish it. To completely end this poor experience we saw the check which stated coffee was $2.95 each. Coffee cups barely 8 oz and barely got 1 refill. We will be sticking to Sunny's from this point on. More bang/taste for you buck. 2 stars as the waitress was pleasant, albeit rushed. read more

*Going to edit my review to clear up what I wrote due to the reply I recieved by the business manager.* Came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. I had high expectations for this place. I ordered a skillet but also ordered the banana nut french toast for my girlfriend and I to share. The french toast really did not taste anything more than ordinary. It was just okay, I feel like we could have skipped out on that because it did not satisfy our craving. Also, our waitress forgot to bring us syrup after delivering food to our table. We had to wait 20 mins to get her attention and to check on our table. The skillet I ordered was the fiesta skillet, which in fact does come with red potatoes but did NOT state this in my original review. I actually read the menu again which states that all of their skillets come with HASHBROWNS besides the fiesta skillet. The skillet I ordered I had was actually pretty good!...until a few bites in, I found a piece of HAIR in it. This made us stop eating everything we ordered altogether. My girlfriend ordered the breakfast meat omelet which comes with HASHBROWNS which I happened to get a little taste of. The hashbrowns are thicker cut than your normal thinly shredded hashbrowns. I felt as if the thickness of the potatoes caused it to be undercooked. They were still really hard and crunchy. They tasted like dehydrated potatoes that were cooked in grease on high just to get that nice brown color. Our waitress was extremely nice but disappeared for a good 20 mins leaving us without any refills or syrup after delivering food to our table. Mind you, the restaurant was not that busy, at all. When we finally got her attention, she instantly took care of everything & this is when I brought it to her attention that I found a piece of hair in my food & no longer wanted my meal. She offered to make a new one but I kindly declined due to losing my appetite. Overall, I wasnt really impressed with their food. It is way over hyped and over priced for the quality you receive. I do not accept the apology in the response I received by the business manager in my original review post. She was rude & that apology was completely insincere. Got sat at our table and had to ask two different people at separate times to wipe down the food and syrup that was left before it was cleaned up. Ordered a Vegetable omelette with a side pancake. The omelette was ok, did not have much flavor because I had to dip it in chalula hot sauce every bite. We also ordered a grilled cheese with added on bacon + avocado which came out to 12.95 - had to send it back because they had just slapped 2 pieces of cheese without even melting it. Avocado was hard, bread was white (We never got asked about a different bread selection) this was our first time here and probably won't be returning! Yes they remelted the cheese but seems like they just put the plate in the microwave because our fries came back 3x harder(microwave error!). First time we came, it was fantastic. We returned because of the wonderful food and service we received the first time. BIG mistake. They are a one hit wonder. Such a shame. After posting this review, the manager approached us while we were eating and promptly "schooled" us on posting a bad review. Then the waitress approached us informing us that in her opinion we should not have posted a bad review after we returned the food and they still couldn't get it right. I would have been happy to change the review had the manager handled this differently but as for now, the review stands. After posting this review, they came back with the same old comments they gave me at the restaurant. BTW, I did try my food the second time they tried to make it right. This restaurant is obviously more interested in making sure they have the last word instead of truly making things right with the customers. read more

When traveling I rely on Yelp for food. Went here for breakfast while visiting my son in Chandler. The server was really nice. My son had a skillet which he said he liked and I had an omelette that was pretty good. They have really great potatoes that have a crispy element to them as well as a soft element. They were the best part of the meal for me. Their biscuit was good with the exception that I asked for it dry and they put butter on it. Overall a basic breakfast place. read more

Good breakfast spot! This is a nice little gem in chandler to have breakfast without breaking the bank! The portions are great, you get a filling meal and leave satisfied, hands down. It's even better when you get the bill and realize it was pretty affordable for a quality meal in a nice setting. OMG the pancakes!!! So delicious with a secret ingredient I can't quite figure out. Excellent potato pancake - made the way they are supposed to be, with mashed potatoes and served with sour cream. Good place to have breakfast! The staff are very friendly and easy going, the portions are pretty large and filling, and it's an overall cozy and cute place to go, I recommend it for sure. Went to Blackberry cafe today for a meal. I went with my husband and a couple of friends. My friends ordered breakfast, I had the Cajun chicken sandwich with the cabbage soup, my husband had the Philly cheese steak with fries. My soup came first and it did not remotely taste like cabbage and whatever it was, was extremely salty. I couldn't eat it. Next we got our sandwiches. Mine was nice and hot. I cut it in half. I took a bite and started chewing and it was very, very dry and it got stuck in my throat. Had to drink quite a lot of my sprite to not choke. It truly had no flavor at all, not more or less Cajun. I tried to take another bite and the same thing. So, I just pushed the plate forward and couldn't eat it any more. My husband stopped eating as well. He said his bread was about as hard as a rock and the beef was dry and no flavor. I waited for the waitress and she did take a while to come outside. I proceeded to tell her about our meal and she said "oh, ok, Would u like a box?" I said no thank you, the food was really bad and she said "ok I'll take your plate then" Same to my husband. I was hoping at least for an apology, but nope, nothing. So, if you're planning on going there, I say skip it all together, you definitely will get better food at McDonalds and better service. This further proves a reason for me not to come back. Instead of vilifying my response, she could have said something like, sorry your experience was not pleasurable, please try us again, so we make it up to you. This is not the way to run a business. I visited this wonderful restaurant with a group of ladies. They were able to accommodate a group of 18. Lunch was absolutely fantastic. I had the Ham and cheese club. It was delicious. The wait staff took excellent care of us keeping our drinks filled. We will definitely be back. Also the Restaurant and bathrooms were extremely clean which is always something pay attention to. Came in today, Wednesday morning for breakfast. Sat outside because I had my pup with me. The server was very friendly and if I was good at remembering names I'd use it. But I'm the person that forgets 30 seconds later. I ordered the home-style french toast combo with scrambled eggs and bacon and a decaf coffee. It was all very good and the bacon was cooked perfectly, not too brown and not too fatty. The food came quick and was hot. I was going back and forth on the french toast or the benedict. The restaurant had plenty of seating and accommodated our party at the last minute. However, we did have to wait about 40 minutes when we were told 15 but not bad at all for a Holiday. We were the only ones in there but they just opened and I don't think they put themselves out there yet, so thought i would help. We were seated as soon as we walked in. The decor is nice and the place is clean and friendly. Barbie greeted the 5 of us with a big smile and welcomed us in. The menu had the basic stuff and a few house things.
