Okay I've been here a couple times now and each time the pizza tasted like it was old and they were very skimpy on the toppings for whatever reason. The last time I ordered online and it was a very busy day and it said it would be ready like in an hour. I showed up in an hour and took the pizza home and it tasted like the pizza was sitting around all day for some reason. I ordered my pizza with many toppings but there were just a few pieces of each topping and that was sad. There was also a lack of pizza sauce which made it very dry. The teenagers were busy talking to someone in the line behind me, completely missing that my husband and I were together getting separate pizzas, so his got all the toppings then a couple min later mine was taken care of. The entire place was sort of sticky/ dirty feeling(such as grease on my cup). Pizza wasn't bad but not great. However their cheese does give good "cheese pull"! Then I made the colossal mistake of needing to use the ladies room before I left. When I tell you it stank, I mean I almost threw up and I wouldn't wish that smell on my worst enemy. This was my first time at this Blaze because the one by my house is getting renovated. When I entered, I could see it was clean and well lighte. There was lots of seating. The workers were cooperating together to get the orders right for the customers. My pizza was tasty. We had a group of 6 in total. The cost was a little high for the quality you get. I tried the gluten free crust hoping it was as remotely good as the one at CPK but was disappointed. Their gluten free crust tastes like cardboard so if you are gluten sensitive/free, I would get a salad and skip this place. We always get take out on Fridays. Tonight we decided to try something new and my Hodgman suggested Blaze pizza because of their keto option as he is low carb. Their service was fast and excellent. Their employee Rosy was absolutely wonderful. She asked if it was or first time and we said yes. She immediately went into helpful mode and walked us through the process and options making our order quick and efficient. We each got exactly what we wanted. Horns got a bauxite cheese on regular crust, Mommy a half and half marinara half Alfredo with Hawaiian on the marinara side and my own creation of bacon and blue cheese on the Alfredo side, with a Cauliflower crust. Hubby got his own creation of jalapeño, bacon, sausage, and pepperoni on a keto crust. They also serve beer which was a great wind down to a busy work day. At around 4-4:30 pm, I wanted to get a late lunch pizza and here is my experience. When I walked in, a female employee was talking and not paying attention while talking to another staff while they are off the clock. When I placed an order and waited for the pizza. It was taking longer than usual, then I got my name called. I got the wrong pizza and begged me to take the pizza as it does not want to go to waste. The employee didn't say, 'I'm sorry or if I wanted to get another pizza. They mixed up my order with another customers pizza and placed it in a to go box after I simply said, 'it's for here.' This what happens when employees are not paying attention and they are always talking to each other about random things in life that has nothing to do with work and customer service. After eating the pizza, I went to wash my hands and find out the paper towels are out and I asked the staff nicely, '' there are no more paper towels.' During the pandemic I have been still eating out due to shortage of food at home and just laziness of waiting in long lines at grocery stores! Don't usually write extensive reviews about chain restaurant establishment, but the service here during an understaffed shift was well noticed. The worker Ari was phenomenal, took cautious measures (changing gloves and practicing clean habits), was open and engaged in conversation, and made recommendations for the new cauliflower crust phenomena. The cauliflower crust was actually quite delicious and high in protein (21g)! So if you're looking to cut the overabundance of carbs in bread of a pizza... the cauliflower crust is great! Other recommendations would be their diced garlic and artichoke! I feel that this location keeps their ingredients fresh! Also try yourself at combining both mozzarella options, it makes it even cheesier. Great pizza for a great price! Honestly some of the best service I've gotten from a custom pizza place! If I could give this place 0 stars, I would! I am soo upset. We ordered 4 pizzas through door dash for pick up and every single order was wrong. Our pizzas were burnt and tasted very burnt, and had a nasty taste to it. We didn't realize they messed up our order and that our pizzas were burnt until we got home. We were on a time crunch so we couldn't make the trip to go back. While we were there, I noticed there were a lot of angry customers that came back to complain about their orders. I should've gone somewhere else but decided to just stay and give it a try anyways. When I got there, our order was no where near ready and they didn't even prepare it. We have already ordered 20 minutes in advance thinking it would be ready by the time we came to pick up the food. We ended up waiting an extra 15-20 minutes. I'm pretty disappointed with this location.
