First off, even though this location is hidden back in a corner, the place is always has a great clean dining room and bathrooms. The employees are always amazing. I stopped in to this location for a late dinner and even though they were going to close within an hour of me stopping in the service was great. A young lady by the name of Silvi (I believe that's how you spell it) went above and beyond providing quality service to ensure that my order was correct and came out in a timely manner. The recent visits to this location have been horrible. Today's visit: 1. Change in ordering. Previously, it was a subway style order down the line system and pay at the end which was preferred. It is now a "order everything and pay immediately at the beginning" system which at this location is especially bad because we have finicky eaters and health specific modifications that are often missed, especially at this location. Look, if my kid can't eat cheese, I cannot find out you added cheese at the time it arrives at the table. It needs to be caught immediately. 2. Was completely ignored by staff and girl who was cleaning the topping table seemed annoyed that I had walked in and walked to the back of store without acknowledging that I was there. The workers had no need to hurry and when only 2 people were in line they took 45 minutes to get our pizzas made. The sauce on my pizza was chunky and the man cooking the pizzas was burning all of them. The stove was super dirty and the bottom of each pizza was pure black. I don't know why I keep coming back, but this place is unbelievably slow service wise and never seems to get better. I don't know if it's a staffing issue due to management or the general issues in the food service industry but it's ridiculous. They skimp on toppings, and act like it's a huge inconvenience when you ask for a reasonable amount of cheese. Doesn't matter how nice you are or even what time it is in the evening. The staff is just plain rude most days, which if they were fast, I could handle. But they aren't. This wasn't an issue at the Meridian location or any of the California locations. We Blaze it up in Iowa too! Traveling through we knew this would be a quick stop for us. 6 o'clock on the 4th of July and there was just a few people in there. When I had first gone to Blaze pizza when it opened they knew how to put the toppings on the pizza. Now when you go in and they ask you about the toppings you barely get any cheese and if you ask for extra cheese it's nothing. Then when it comes to toppings it's like the cheese they are cheap on it. My family and I dined there on 12/11/2020 in the 6 p.m. hour. Ordering was no problem, but there was a little bit of a wait. When we got to our table, my daughters opened their milk and started drinking. My youngest daughter who is 4 years old said "I don't like this milk, daddy." We've had the same milk at other Blaze locations without issue. I thought this was strange and looked at the expiration date. The milk expired on 8/30/2020. That's not a typo. Both my daughters drank milk that was over three months expired! When I alerted the manager, she was very nonchalant and offered me the chocolate milk that was just delivered on Wednesday of that week. She also said that the milk was "organic" and that it wasn't like other milk. It obviously tasted bad to my 4-year-old. No apology or anything, just we'll replace it with chocolate milk. The manager then proceeded to remove about ten additional cartons from their grab and go case. Three months expired? I'm glad my daughters didn't get sick, but if this is any indication of their food handling practices, I'd be concerned about how they store other foods. My family really likes Blaze, but we won't be returning to this location. read more

I feel bad giving them the middle of the road rating, but I feel they are worth eating here, they just need to up their game cleaning up after the slobs. I say this because I sat at a high table next to a door facing the patio to the north. I was noticing all the trash floating about by the outside tables and on the other side of the western barrier. The drink area was a mess and you could see food all over the floor by the pizza pick up area. They have a great product here, but it seems some just prefer to treat it like to trash because it's a cheaper place to eat. As much as this sucks, they do need to have someone on a rigid watch to keep up with the mess. The customer needs to be as decent as the place they are eating at. read more

I had the worst experience I wanted to try this place for the first time. I ordered for pickup online and I got off work earlier, so I went in to see if they can make it earlier for me because they do not pick up the phones at all. They would not give me the option saying something about the order does not come in the system yet. I was there with all the information on my phone already paid. They did not give me options. So I decided to cancel the order and head home. I get a email that I will be refunded. But still they charged me on my card and still won't answer the phone. It's stupid I have to come inside to see if I can get my money back. I have a baby to feed it's so annoying. I use to work in the pizzeria business and I was a manager. Not all Blaze Pizza Locations are created equal. Blaze is my favorite "go to" fast food pizza but at this location I had a terrible experience. Order # 9670930001952770; SATURDAY, 5/7/2022. I was hosting a family reunion, with 20 relatives, many elderly family members. My cousin and I went to Costco and bought salads and desserts and decided to have pizza delivered to the house we were renting, as were visitng from out of state. I went online to order, was thinking I would order 8 x 11" individual pizza's but having NEVER ordered online before, as I've always gone into Blaze in person, I suddenly for the first time ever saw NEW LARGE PIZZA'S. I said to my cousin oh they have large pizza's now, should I could just get 4 large pizza's instead of 8 small ones? The 4 pizza's arrived in with rain pouring down. I opened the boxes and the pizza toppings looked strange...as in there were hardly any toppings on the pizza and where was the cheese? Twenty people just kinda stared at the pizza like what the hell is this and then to not embarrass me they all dug in. I take a slice and notice the pizza is just barely warm, but that is ok...it was cold and rainy out, but what happens next is I discover the pizza's are undercooked and very doughy (like raw cookie dough) instead of being crispy. I still don't know what is going on...everyone started eating and now I am feeling super embarrassed because I've just told 20 family members who have never had Blaze pizza how Blaze is my favorite pizza and now we are eating pizza that is barely edible. Meanwhile my cousin says where is the cheese?.... As a couple of pizza's looked barren of any cheese and we can just see dough instead of toppings. Long story short there wasn't much I could do at that stage to correct the issue as everyone was attempting to eat the pizza's and if I reordered them or tried to correct the problem, many of the elderly family members would not be able to wait around for that, as it would take way too long! On the day I was flying back to California,3 days later, I drove to the store and spoke with Shawna the manager and as I was standing there a small pizza came out of the oven and had all these crispy toasted dark brown edges and I said see our pizza's weren't anything like that! Then I was hit with the BOMB. Shawna tells me that the LARGE PIZZA'S HAVE A DIFFERENT DOUGH "HIGH RISE" and that the ratio of toppings are different on a large pizza to a small 11" pizza! High Rise? Is that like another term for Deep Dish? OMG. I hate deep dish, and I hate thick pizza dough...I only like thin and crispy. So why then when I ordered online did it say "classic dough"? Long story short I reached out to Corporate. They said the Franchise would have to give me a refund and then I reached out to the Franchise over and over again and to Corporate over and over again by email...emailing them for 3 weeks straight, and they refuse to refund the pizza's. To make matters worse the day after the party I got sick to my stomach and was vomiting...and was in bed all day. So no, I was unable to return the uneaten boxes/slices of pizza we threw away. We had other urgent matters like the fact that my cousins Mother was on her deathbed, and my cousin had to rush to her mom's side. In closing, when I drove to the store, the same day as I was flying out of Boise Airport and spoke with Manger Shawna she gave me a few coupons to the store, to which I can't use, as I don't live in Nampa, or Idaho! So I'm not really sure how handy me a few coupons that I can't use compensates me in any way shape or form. Then the assistant manager Chloe ignored my phone calls/messages for over 3 weeks, so I called again today and was told the owners of the franchise will not refund me. Additionally, Corporate did nothing to resolve the matter. I am really disappointed in Corporate for not having my back. And quite honestly I don't get this whole thing about the large pizza's only being for online orders...nor do I understand how I was even supposed to know the large pizza's would be totally different to the 11" pizza's, when the online ordering menu did not explain that the large pizza's are different to the 11" pizza's. read more

Very good pizza at a great price. Friendly, fast service. At least three of the friendly staff members from the location at The Village at Meridian will be working here from now on. The set-up is like a Subway restaurant, where the pizza passes down the assembly line and you can see the toppings available. Just let the staff members know what you'd like and they build the pizza in front of your eyes. The crust is thin, allowing it to cook in their very hot oven in about 3 minutes. The price is about $8 for a pizza with unlimited toppings. Standard toppings are available, plus they offer ricotta cheese, fresh mozzarella, roasted zucchini and artichoke hearts. If you don't eat the whole thing, you can take it home in either a full-sized pizza box or a half-sized pizza box. The soda machine has Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite and Dr. Pepper plus some Blue Sky soda choices. There are four other drink dispensers with things like Blood Orange Lemonade. Blaze also has a couple of dessert options and salads. It's a solid place for lunch or dinner. read more

I waited nearly 15 minuets to start my order, after I had found a seat with all the empty dirty tables, I wandered over to get my drinks, the Dr Pepper had little to no syrup running, the root beer was the same way, I had now bought a drink and really didn't see anything I wanted to drink, settled with sprite. But no cup lids, I ask and they said they had ran out. After my pizza arrived I walked over to grab napkins, once again the wasn't any out. When I asked this time I was snapped at and glared at heavily like j should have known what's going on. The group of young people who were on deck tonight made the restaurant a great place to be. They were friendly, funny, and seemed to enjoy being there! First time ordering from this pizzeria. I got a large, a small, and a cheesy bread. I tipped them 7 dollars, they didn't greet me when I walked through the door, they didn't look me in the eyes once. They forgot my cheesy bread and when I asked about it, the lady (oldest lady in the building) seemed upset about it. Didn't ask my name or anything.
