How did I never come here before 2 weeks ago, and now I want to come here every day! The smoothies here are awesome, full of flavor and customizable to your liking! I have yet to try the açaí bowls yet, but plan on that soon! The Chocolate PB Smoothie is my favorite by far and I have them add some raspberry puree and it's perfect! I hear the coffee drinks are good too! The servers are always friendly and quick! The store is huge, with lots of seating. I'm always in and out, but great place to chill for a few minutes with a friend. Others have mentioned it, but they have an essential oil that scents the whole store, and it helps set the vibe. There's also a wall at the back of the store that sells crystals, jewelry and shirts/sweaters etc... About ready to head over again this morning for another smoothie! Check them out! Prices on bowls and smoothies average about $13-$14 but are totally worth it!

My lil' teen yelper has an açaí bowl addiction. She loves this place because it's really unlimited toppings. The server couldn't have been nicer. She explained how everything works. Offered me a sample of the bases. I was going to get one but it tastes bland (the blue one) so I switched to a combo of mango and strawberry and neither were bland. The toppings were all tasty. I had bananas, strawberries, mango, chia pudding, granola, honey, blue spirulina, and cinnamon. It was really colorful. My child asked for pretty much every topping. The place is surprisingly huge. Plenty of seating. They had some music in the background. Medium bowl was about $15. Bottom line: Would come back.

I came here after work and immediately felt refreshed and happy because it smelled lovely inside! Like entering a luxurious hotel. The staff said it was an essential oil so if you know the specific name, please share! We got the acai bowls with açaí base and unlimited toppings. I was impressed with the variety of bases they offered. They packed the bowl to the brim. I especially loved the dry toppings--bee pollen, hemp seeds, cacao nibs, and their date honey, and almond butter. Next time, I want to try the spirulina powder and a different base!

Very cute spot, with such a variety of flavors and toppings, you can get whatever you want here! I got a small açaí to play it safe. I appreciate that they let you sample a flavor beforehand. Unlimited toppings was great too for the price! Super friendly staff, and I love that they sell small artists items inside too. Support local :)

This HITS the spot after a sunny day at the beach! Located in Redondo Beach Rivera, so most of the parking is metered. AMBIANCE Very spacious cafe for an açaí smoothie joint. Lots of seating, air conditioning, love the vibe! Service was great, the girl was very patient and let us try as many sorbets as we want. AÇAÍ / Smoothies They offer a smoothie samples, and I was so close to getting a smoothie but the girl recommended the açaí bowls for first time. All the bowls come with UNLIMITED TOPPINGS!! The small one flavor was $11.50, medium two flavors was $13.50, and large three flavors was $15.50. The large was double the size of small, so great to share or if you want to get your moneys worth. Located close to the beach, I will definitely be back!!

Wow! This spot has easily become my preferred choice for acai bowls. You pay a flat rate and its completely build your own/customizable with all toppings Service on our first visit was outstanding. The store is spacious and clean. We love sitting outside with our bowls & people watching

wish i could rate this place zero stars. it's awful. almost 15 bucks for a smoothie that taste like shit. go to Jamba juice around the corner. nasty 0/10. i got the Maui.... it's awful. Ive been here 3x and every smoothie I've gotten is really good ! The staff is super nice as well. I saw on the menu they have acai bowls and affogatos with matcha and coconut. Going to have to go back and try those options. I think this place is underrated !

This place is going to be a gold mind in the summer! First time here and I love it! I don't know how many times I have gotten an açai bowl and a bit disappointed with the lack of toppings.... But this place you just pay for an unlimited toppings. Love the concept and I hope they keep it this way. You know people.., give an inch and they will take a yard. Ambience is very hip and nothing like other açai places. Very chill place to eat and relax. Service is very friendly and accommodating, seems like they like working here. Happy employees, happy customers. Love the fact they have gluten free granola toppings, seems to be for the most part healthy (açaí in general is very high in sugar and the sorbet is too, but toppings seem to be on the healthier side). Toppings: *bees pollen (I haven't seen this type of healthy topping in a long time) *gluten free granolas *fruits * blue spirulina powder (lots of health benefits n I don't ever think most health food places even offer this as a free topping). *fruits - variety of assortments, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, and kiwis * and many more other toppings that I can't remember Just take a look at my açai bowl. I find this place worth the price, it's not cheap, but they don't skimp out on you! I will be back and most likely be a regular. My kid is a huge fan!

I loved my large bowl! I got the large craft your own bowl with classic Acai and cacao blended with chocolate whey protein, topped with banana, strawberries, blueberries, and peanut butter. The base sorbets were so smooth and silky. Not icy at all. The Acai was pure and delicious. The fruits were also very fresh and perfectly ripe. I loved the service and that you have unlimited free toppings to choose from. The employees were very kind and attentive. One of the best Acai bowl I've ever had! You have to try it for yourself!

it's a beautiful, sunny friday and blendzup was the first thing on my mind i tried their limited southbay bowl and it was so yummy! the fruits are fresh and the sorbet doesn't melt as quickly as most acai bowl bases do. it was too sweet for me though, i wish it didn't have the strawberry puree/syrup. the workers are sooo sweet and welcoming and very fast. the store is veryy spacious and there are tons of seats inside and outside. lovely vibes all around. i would def come back, but i'd probably get something less sweet.

I love that you get any of the toppings included with the price for a custom Açaí bowl. Delicious and lots of choices of bases. I have been bank several times when though they are 30 minutes away from my house. My daughter had a smoothie and was able to substitute the protein powder out for plant based. It was delicious. Smooth and just the right amount of sweetness. I tried their banana chai latte. Also delicious. Substituted almond milk for no extra charge. Thank you and they prepared it so nicely. Delicious flavor and just the tight amount of foam. read more

My boyfriend and I were excited to try this place out and support a new business in the area. Unfortunately, my first experience didn't hit the mark and I will not be returning. The good: The store is open and very spacious. I like how they display and sell merch from another local small business. The bad: It was not busy when we arrived, just one couple sitting down eating their acai bowls. The dark-haired woman behind the bar didn't make eye contact or greet us. She appeared tired, bored, and did not give us a single smile. We awkwardly made our way to the counter to look at the menu. She did not look like she wanted to be there, as she looked at us blankly, probably expecting us to order immediately. Since it was our first time, we would have appreciated if she asked us if we were familiar with the menu, or even offer suggestions based on what we liked. I had a question about one of the bases and her tone in her response was bland. I thought she would have offered a small sample but she didn't (other comparable places have free samples). Her attitude was off-putting, but regardless, we decided to order. My boyfriend got a Peanut Butter Chocolate smoothie while I got a build your own acai bowl. After we ordered, more people started showing up and a line started to form. I was nervous as it seemed like the woman would have to tend to making orders and manning the register, but another man stepped from the back and started assisting with the orders. He was much more friendly which was a relief. He honestly made this review 2 stars vs 1 star. While the customer interaction wasn't great, we held hope in that perhaps they would be able to redeem themselves with the taste. Sadly, they were pretty mediocre. The smoothie was very banana heavy and barely tasted like peanut butter, which was disappointing. The acai bowl was just okay. Also, if you are taking acai bowls to go, their lids are very flimsy (thankfully the man warned us as he was packaging it up and offered to put some tape to help hold everything together). For extra security, I had my boyfriend make sure to hold it so it wouldn't topple over during the car ride home; if you are by yourself it may be more of an inconvenience. First impressions are everything and I'm saddened that this didn't live up to our expectations. I would recommend other establishments like Blenders, Berry Brand, Lazy Bird, and Blue Bowl as both quality and service have been consistently great. read more

This is the best açaí bowl place I have ever been to! It's not traditional. It's already in like a sorbet form. But it's very low sugar and very natural. There are other flavors like Ube, coconut, Matcha, Pitaya, etc. that are so good as well, and their toppings are super fresh and delicious. read more

The customer service with the 2 people working today wasn't good at all. No one greeted. The older lady cashier with the light brownish hair was rude with an attitude for no reason. She doesn't look happy to be there but she shouldn't treat customers like that. The girl in the black hair was just laughing with the cashier for whatever reason. My drink was also missing chia seeds in it. And the other drink Iced matcha latte didn't taste sweet at all my friend picked out with my order. Had a shot of vanilla with it but didn't taste like it. I had a few items that was made for pick up order for me and my friends that picked out the order online. Must of been rushed. But they tasted it once I brought the order back home to them. Would not do a group pick up order again nor recommend the disrespectful workers that was working today. read more

Was super excited to see an acai bowl place on the Riviera Village main street. They've got a super open space. Nice area to sit down & work. All the workers have been super friendly. I ABSOLUTELY loved their different bases! They will let you taste test if you ask! Shoutout to the tropical blue base. So good! You can mix and match up to 3 bases + it is a flat price for the size of the bowl. You get to choose how many toppings you want! My personal favorite mix is dragonfruit, tropical blue & acai. I am addicted. I think I've gone at least twice a week since they've opened! Definitely check it out & support the local acai shop :) read more

By far, one of the best spots for high quality and healthy options. We love the açaí and endless toppings. They even have other tasty variations, like coconut, and my son's favorite - the blue stuff. The staff is super nice and management strives to take care of the community. Our entire baseball team swears by this joint! Start your day(s) off with a great meal, or end your days with a treat. The plant based protein in the shake was terrible. I felt like I was chewing my shake. I was unable to get a refund since there was no manager. I had to email the company but they would not issue a monetary refund I was forced to take a credit. I have no Intention in returning but now I have to because I have a 15 dollar credit. read more

My best friend took me here on a weekend afternoon, and even then there was a line, although it was manageable and mostly stayed inside the shop. Because of that experience, I knew The Nook was popular, but I wasn't prepared for what I encountered on a weekday morning. I wanted to pick up a coffee before work, so I actually planned ahead. Before leaving home, I checked the mobile website expecting that, given the obvious demand, there might be an order-ahead option. Unfortunately, there isn't one. So I gave myself an additional 30 minutes specifically for parking, waiting in line, ordering, and waiting for the drink to be prepared. I figured that should be more than enough for a morning coffee pickup. I arrived around 7:30 AM, and as I walked toward The Nook from the south side of The Enclave, I could already see the line stretching out of the door and into the courtyard. I was honestly shocked. There were easily 15-20 people ahead of me. I decided to give it a fair chance and got in line. After 10 minutes, the line had barely moved. At that point, I walked out. I understand that popular businesses get busy, especially in the morning. But there is a difference between being busy and having a customer wait in a line of 15-20 people with virtually no movement at 7:30 AM, particularly when there is no mobile ordering or order-ahead option. For a coffee shop with this level of demand, I find the lack of an ordering system especially frustrating. If you're going to consistently have lines extending outside the business during the morning rush, there should be some way for customers who are trying to grab a drink on their way to work to order ahead. And that's really my issue: the customer experience doesn't seem designed for people who need coffee efficiently. If you're coming here on a weekend, have nowhere to be, or are willing to dedicate an unpredictable amount of time to waiting, you may have a completely different experience. But if you're trying to get coffee before work, I would strongly recommend accounting for significantly more time than you think you'll need -- or having a backup plan. I no longer work as close to The Nook, and I don't drink coffee after noon, so I don't have much reason to make a special trip. Unless I'm conveniently nearby and see little to no line, I won't be making another attempt anytime soon. The Nook clearly has a loyal following, but popularity shouldn't come at the expense of basic convenience. If the demand is consistently this high, the ordering process needs to catch up with it.

The amount of times an employee has helped me come up with combinations for my açaí bowl is endearing. It truly feels like a welcoming environment with lots of space to bring strollers and wheelchairs into with ease. They are cut into two halves. Could not finish most of the 2nd half and took it home. It kept well and hubby enjoyed the rest of it later. Did not try a beverage as I had my own water and refilled at their complimentary water dispenser at the counter. They have some smoothie options that I am curious to try at the next visit. One particular is the Green Glow up which is organic milk, local honey, spinach, banana, orange, avocado, pineapple and chia seeds. I had minimal interaction with the gal at the counter. She was kind. Location is in the Torrance Crossroads next to IHOP. Parking is shared with several businesses. Avoid parking near In N Out as it is usually congested in that part of the Crossroads. Very pleasant experience here! Healthy, fresh, and delish is 4 stars worthy.

We came on an early weekend morning to grab breakfast; it was my first time at this cafe. I was warmly greeted by a male staff with a smile. I ordered an iced coffee and avocado toast. Both items were solid. Breakfast AT was delightful and healthy. Services were spot on. Prices were fair for the area. Plenty of street metered parking.
