Like coming here before but changed my mind after my last visit. They seated us in one of the private rooms in a really small table, not smart since we had 4 people. Barely had any room for our food. Service was non-existent except for the Mexican busboy who came in once in a while to clean up, had to ask for chili and napkins from him cuz the waitress never bothered coming back. Food was ok but one of the chicken feet w/ herbal soup was cold, and the pork blood was also cold. They even forgot our har gow, took them 1 hour to bring it over, by that time we were almost done. ***SCAMMERS SELLING BELOW AVERAGE FOOD*** We came for a birthday with about 30 people and asked for a private room without meeting their $600 minimum per table and they obliged. We ordered a range of food - whole roast pig, peking duck, lobster noodle special, fish maw soup, various veggies, walnut shrimp, etc. Overall the food was below average and I'm pretty sure they forgot to season the soup. Only saving grace was the servers who were really attentive. The one-star rating is a combination of the subpar food and the fact that despite ordering the lobster noodle SPECIAL (~$50) they charged us for the noodles plus a 10 pound Boston Lobster which runs about $30 per pound adding an additional $300 to our bill before tax and 18% gratuity. On top of that, they tried to base the 18% gratuity on the after-tax total. They claimed they misunderstood and thought we wanted the $300 lobster and that the 18% gratuity after-tax total was all a mistake. We tried to argue that you can't just assume that when someone orders the lobster noodle special that they automatically want a 10 pound Boston lobster with it...who does that?! This went on for 30 minutes but they wouldn't budge and their incompetency took another 15 minutes to fix the gratuity before we just decided to pay and never come back. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is passing by. This restaurant focuses heavily on Chinese cuisine. Although not completely traditional plates, the restaurant does a fantastic job adding a twist to main staple Chinese dishes. Additionally, I recommend the lobster and the honey shrimp with almonds. These two dishes by far were the best two dishes. Everything tasted fantastic!! However, some dishes seem to be preferred over others. It depends on the customers preference. The service was quick as I was able to get a VIP room and the waiters are all nice and quick to respond when they are passing by. Lastly the restaurant has a friendly vibe in the VIP rooms. Since the VIP rooms are isolated from the main floor, the ambiance is truly based on who you eat with. If everyone is enjoying themselves then the ambiance will be cheerful and etc. Furthermore, there is Karaoke in the VIP rooms, so make sure to loosen up and have a blast with friends. I held my bday party with 24 people in a private room (two round tables). Best if you go over the menu before hand with the staff. Some things require a double order per table, while some dishes a single order is fine. Alan was the lead that night and he was great..very helpful with my selections and organized as the night went on. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. My guest were super impressed by the food. All dishes are great. Everyone's favorite was the tofu mushroom, lobster noodles, and beef tenderloin. Honey walnut shrimp, which was great, is not on the dinner menu (it's on the lunch menu) but they will make it if you request. The atmosphere is bright and everything is new. Total was $310 without tips. They missed up the order 5 times. We kept correcting missing orders. When they delivered the orders, we received 2 orders of red chicken feet when we ordered 4 orders. Spent the entire dining experience checking if all orders were delivered to the table and missing orders were input into the computer. Went there for dimsum with my big extended family. There are 18 of us and all fit inside one of the VIP room reserved. The corner room has its own gender neutral bathroom, which was really great as we have kids and so many of us. The food was decent and piping hot when served. Had a really enjoyable gathering. The dimsum paper to mark was a little confusing when it came to portion sizes and pricing (in English and Chinese), but when we asked our waiter, he told us what to do. Please Be careful to make sure the restaurant know precisely what you order. in this occasion, we ordered yee-mein lobster but instead the restaurant served us Boston lobster with yee-mein. Clearly, the latter is way, way more expensive. Since we ate it, without knowing that, the restaurant insisted that we pay for the pricey Boston lobster dish. After arguing over half a hour n even showing the manager our draft order, the restaurant only reduced the bill by a very small amount. The restaurant's point is that we ate the Boson lobster, which we clearly did not order, so we have to pay for it. That is a very shady way of doing business & ripping customers. in addition, the restaurant apply their tipping not just on the food but also on the tax amount too. Another shady practice. So please be careful. We will never go back to this restaurant. This restaurant will not last long if they don't correct this shady way of doing business. read more

I came with 5 people to this restaurant at about 5 o'clock in the afternoon for dinner. There was only two other tables having meals. My mother is in a wheelchair all of us are senior citizens. Terrible Service!!! Went in trying to buy the roasted pig. Every staff ignored me. It was a time when it's not even busy. The staff were busy talking amongst one another and didn't even bother asking if I wanted anything. I stood there waited for the longest time and still no one assisted me. Another customer came in and they helped right away. When this woman in black clothes, I believe is the manager, came out. I told her that I've been waiting for a while but no one helped. The manager responded "Cant u see the staff is busy? If you can't wait then leave." This is ridiculous. Who in the their right mind would put such a person in the managerial position. Have no customer service whatsoever. Better yet, I doubt she even has the skill to talk decently let alone manage the restaurant. With a new openly restaurant, I highly recommend the owner to be selective with who they hire and if hired, do train these staff properly, especially the manager. I've never encountered such rude manager before. Not sure if this restaurant has been hyped recently so the staff is on high horse, start treating customers so rudely. Had one off the worst experience I ever had. Went to buy BBQ rice combo for dinner. Walked in and saw an elderly man cleaning the stove with his blue disposable glove on. I was saying to myself please don't let him cut my roast duck. I placed the order and before I k is it, the man cleaning the stove with soap stopped and proceeded over to the cutting board. I horror, I yelled out can you please washed you hand. The man said I just rinse the stove the 2nd time. It's clean. He then walk over to the sink and turn on the water for like 2 second. We had our paper ready with our items and they still helped everyone else before us even when we got sat down first. It is also so pricey!
