    BEEF STROGANOFF
    Candice S.

Came here for lunch before heading to HOFF. I am honestly surprised that this place isn't rated higher. It wasn't busy, since it wasn't lunch, so that might have affected the service. We were seated quickly, and our server was pleasant. I ordered the chicken curry and added shrimp. It was amazing. I am still thinking about it and it is almost dinner time. The portion size was great. My fiancé ordered one of the Oktoberfest specials, beef stroganoff. He said it was decent. I would gladly return since there were several other things on the menu that appealed to me, plus I would like to try out their bar options.

Ambience was nice, pretty quiet at 9:30. I was surprised they still serve food at that hour. The service could've been quicker, but they did the best they could with our party of 15. Beer and alcohol selection was extensive however that didn't have several of the Boulevards on tap. They did have a reasonable gluten-free selection of food and the pizza was pretty good.

don't miss out on the Holiday Twinkle event! super cute decor. The service was great! Lunch was a great time as it wasn't very busy. Chicken salad sandwich was ok. Cole slaw delicious. The Fliourless chocolate cake mousse was yummy!

We dropped in for lunch today and were seated immediately in a booth. It's decorated very Christmasy! We had their smash burgers with fries for one and fruit for another. They offer gluten free buns as well. The service was good in general. Their pricing was a bit higher than some for hamburgers.

    Hours

We love this place- we came in at 9:14 on a Saturday and we were turned away; "the kitchen closes at 9" the hours say open until 11pm. As hospitality professionals, we speculate this is all due to poor management- the seemingly "cut" cooks were leaving as we were walking out. Extremely disappointing. Update your website. Period. PS- no empathy, apology- meek messaging.

My first time going here. We went for their snowglobe Holiday Pop up and it was SO FUN! Service was great. The place was so cute and all decked out in Christmas decor and feeling so cozy and warm. The food was really good too. We tried their nachos, chicken piccata and Mac and cheese and all were delicious. Highly recommend and I would def go back.

The Snow Globe decor/ambience, which will be there through January 4th, is really fun... sparkly things everywhere! The food is pretty good, and I especially like the chicken piccata and their flourless chocolate torte with raspberry sauce. The prices are reasonable, and our service was very good, despite how many people were there. I highly recommend trying to get a reservation for this special holiday theme!

Love Blue Moose for all things food and drinks. The atmosphere is inviting/friendly and I always enjoy my experience. The beef stroganoff soups is devine and the service top-notch today. I will return in the future.

We came here during the Christmas season. It was a pop up place. Enjoyed the food and decorations.

6 cheese Mac n cheese with mashed potatoes

This was a great place to stop by for lunch! I ordered the 6 Cheese Mac-n-Cheese and Mashed potatoes. The Mac-n-Cheese had a lot of good flavor and texture especially with the breadcrumbs they added. The mashed potatoes had some of the skin put in if you like that, and were creamy. All of the food came out very hot and fresh. The service was very quick and friendly. Constant attention to refills and making sure everything was good. The vibe was very nice, it was clean and put together well.

There was a 'Happy Anniversary' card on our table signed by the staff, such a nice touch! Our waitress greeted us warmly and wished us happy anniversary and told us that for celebrating with them we'd receive a special dessert or a champagne toast. Another lovely surprise. We ordered cocktails and enjoyed their delicious bread service of freshly baked popovers. For dinner I had their Catch of the Day, Black Cod, wrapped in speck, served with saffron couscous. It could not have been more delicious. My husband enjoyed their Three Way Chicken, a dish so plentiful he took one piece home with him. We were both so pleased with our meals we didn't want to eat to excess, so our server offered to send our dessert home with us. The service, ambience and food were all wonderful. So glad we selected Silo as our place to celebrate!

We hit the club for brunch with a group, and while the ambiance was pure "Country Club Chic," the execution was a bit more "Sunday Morning Sand Trap." The Liquid Courage I started off my round with two drinks. the Bloody Mary. It was fine--tasty enough, but it certainly didn't change my life or inspire any poetry. However, things got interesting with their Tequila/Cold Brew/Liquor 43 concoction. Topped with an egg foam cap, it was actually pretty solid. A bit of a gamble, but sometimes you have to roll the dice when the menu is trying that hard. The Culinary "Hit and Miss" Then came the food, or as I like to call it: The Great Consistency Crisis. The Steak: I asked for medium-rare; I received medium-well with a "char" that felt more like a personal vendetta against the cow. The Potatoes: Apparently, potato portions are determined by a lottery system. I received about half the amount of the person next to me. Maybe I didn't look hungry enough? The Eggs: My over-easy eggs had crispy, hard edges and arrived at a temperature I'd describe as "lukewarm at best." We also had to hunt down salt and pepper like we were on a scavenger hunt. Honestly, I probably should have just hit the buffet and cut out the middleman. The Service Our server was perfectly nice, but he appeared to be roughly twelve years old. Since he wasn't legally old enough to understand the complexity of a craft cocktail, he couldn't give us any info on the drink menu. We just had to "go with our gut"--which is a dangerous game when tequila and cold brew are involved. The Verdict I'm not saying I won't be back, but consider this a fair warning: if Round 2 involves another charred steak and a side of "room temperature" eggs, I'll be sending it back for a rerun faster than a shanked drive into the woods. 3/5 Stars -- Great for people-watching, questionable for potato-equity.

The other standout was the raspberry coconut chicken: crispy coconut-breaded tenders draped in a raspberry coulis with toasted almonds on top, sitting over a creamy slaw. Sweet and savory done right, though heads up if you're dairy-sensitive -- that slaw is loaded. Portions are generous, flavors are bold without being over the top, and everything tasted made-to-order rather than assembly-line. Will definitely be back to work through the rest of the menu. Eventually the get us seated in the main area. My wife ordered mashed potatoes and green beans as sides, and the mashed potatoes were cold. They took those back to fix, so we each tried some of her green beans. We both looked at each other in shock and said "These taste like fish!" Plus they were cold, so cold fish green beans. So when they brought out the warmed mashed potatoes we mentioned that, and they grabbed those to fix up, and asked us to check our steak. They were supposed to be medium, but were rare. So they took the steaks and my fries (the only thing edible so far). After 10 minutes the steaks were back, and looked good, along with a new order of the green beans, and we each got a replacement flame singed sliver of bread. So we taste the green beans, and now they taste like warm fish. So we got the manager again and I asked if they ever taste any of this stuff, and she didn't really know what to say. She said they'd take it off our bill, and we could have a free desert. Okay so back to the steaks, which were cooked right but too salty now. And that's when I realized they never brought back my fries. So we flag them down again, and eventually get the fries, which are good. The desert menu is a bunch of uninteresting goo, but we settle on something and get it to go. I pay the bill, tip 20%, and we get the heck out. Later we realize that they had accidentally added another steak entree to out order, then credited it off, just like the green beans and "free" desert, but their little machine calcutes the tip off the total before credits, so I actually payed a 50% tip. Unreal.

You'll find it right across the street from 3&2 Baseball's west complex. If there is youth baseball in the nicer months, then you can bet that some of those sluggers will matriculate across the street in search of lunch or dinner with families in tow. And with good reason, because Callahan's offers something for just about every palate. I would suggest sampling their BBQ, of which the menu is not vast but what they do, they do really well. The K-7 Combo is one of my favorites, a brisket & sliced sausage sandwich with a house BBQ sauce (or even the K-10, which subs in pulled pork for the sausage). Really good entrée and pairs just right with some of their sides, like a house potato salad or smoked beans. The wing game is pretty strong here, featuring a sweet & spicy glaze called the Honey Badger. It's not too sweet and not too spicy and sits nicely atop their twice-done wings. A basket of wings (8) runs $13.50 and that's a fairly good meal without a side. The kids' menu has plenty of the usual suspects, but Callahan's also does thin crust pizza from scratch and knocks those out of the park. I'd suggest the Big 8, which is their version of a 'supreme', and that's enough for at least two people, or maybe one teenager. Local knowledge: if you just want a side, then I'd suggest their sweet potato fries. Cut in-house and super crispy, and a basket alone is a phenomenal choice. Service is always friendly and quick and check the specials on the board as you come in. There are TVs in almost every direction, because sportsball, and there is not a bad seat in the place.
