This morning at their favorite. Waiting for their water bowl that has chicken inscribed on it.

I didn't realize when I said I'd meet my friend for brunch here that I'd been here before in 2017. The food is still amazing as I remembered (I previously had their sweet halloumi and loved it). This time I enjoyed their sweet squash pancakes. They are light, fluffy, and flavorful! I also tried their iced Horchata latte (recommended by a staff member). This was exactly what I was craving. A delicious latte with strong cinnamon notes. I'll be back to try more of their menu! (My friend also enjoyed her avo toast and hot match latte)

Tried this cafe for the first time and was impressed. You order your food at the counter and they bring it to your table. There's outdoor and indoor seating. I ordered The Blueys Breakfast. I don't eat bacon and they were able to substitute it with soy chorizo. It was a nice amount of food and seasoned well. I really enjoyed the kale and mushrooms! This is a place I would revisit. Only feedback I have is there's no guest wifi. I brought my laptop to do some work, so that was an inconvenience.

Tucked away amongst all the business offices is an incredible brunch spot, seemingly always busy and for good reason. The food here is incredible. Simple brunch classics but done right. I had their chicken sandwich and a chai tea latte, both of which were simply prepared but packed big flavors, exactly what I was looking for in a brunch spot. Blueys has quickly become one of my favorite spots to visit for weekday brunch, definitely going to be a repeat guest soon!

Obsessed! Food was so good. Easy and casual to walk up (with kids too!) and grab a table. We had the pancakes, egg sandwich, açaí bowl, and iced horchata lattes. Perfection!

It's probably easier to find parking at the Century City Mall than there is to find a brunch spot in Santa Monica that won't burn your wallet, but fortunately Blueys is still in an affordable range. Plus I love the surfer shack vibes! I got a ham breakfast burrito, which was very filling -- although I was very confused because mine had green onions? While it wasn't what I expected, I now think that green onions in breakfast burritos are elite. Mine also came like 10 minutes before everyone else's (they got chorizo) and mine was barely toasted compared to theirs. The service was very off-putting, though -- the person at the cashier was genuinely the only employee there who didn't sound like a mean girl. I understand that the 10am brunch hour is insanely busy but we are also trying our best to stay out of your way in the small walkways

Cute brunch spot. They have lots of outdoor space & there were many doggos. They even have water bowls for the furry friends. You order at the counter first & they bring the food to you. The line moved fast and the service was good. For drinks, my friend got an iced pumpkin spice latte which she loved & I got a hot choco latte w/ pistachio milk. It was good but could've been hot/warmer. For food, my friend got the breakfast burrito w/ chorizo & bacon, it tasted great! I think avocado would be a great addition if you're considering it. I got the whirley bowl w/ skirt steak instead of the fish. It was so colorful, tasted deliciously healthy. While the steak was yummy, next time, I would go with the original fish it comes with. I can see the flavors going so well with fish.

Bluey's is one of my favorite local coffee spots! They have top tier coffee and their food menu is simple and comforting at the same time. The staff is always working so hard, while maintaining a warm, welcoming vibe. Its my coffee shop, away from my coffee shop (that I work at lol)

Checked out Blueys for the very first time and had a good experience. The food was fresh and the drinks were good. I ordered the breakfast burrito with chorizo which was filling. They have vegan chorizo as well which is great. The service was quick and friendly with a hipster vibe. Cool meet up spot for groups.

Blueys serves healthy food that tastes healthy. I was in a party of 4 and I ordered the Sweet Squash Pancakes for the table, and a Breakfast Burrito with Avocado and the On the Verde smoothie for myself. The rest of the party had 2 Tahini Caesar salads with grilled chicken and an Ancient Grain salad with market fish and a What a Little Mango smoothie. The smoothies were fresh and pure, no added sugar. I liked the use of oaxacan cheese in the breakfast burrito. The sweet squash pancakces were a nice texture, and nothing on this dish was too sweet. The food is very decent, but for me a little under-seasoned overall. The portions are solid - I could have stopped at eating half and taken the other half away and been satisfied. I chose to finish mine, and was full but not stuffed. My friends all took some home with them. You order at the counter, and then you get a number and food is brought to your table. There are a few tables inside with more tables set up on an outdoor patio. The patio is right next to the parking lot, which is a little bit narrow and sometimes you have cars exiting parking spaces right up against the fence next to the seating area. It's very casual and not too loud. It's on the pricey side for what it is. Our bill came out to $159 including tax and tip. There's a relatively limited amount of free parking in the lot right next to the outdoor seating area, and there's also some street parking available nearby. I didn't have an issue finding a space at noon on a Tuesday. I think Blueys is particularly great for the health-conscious. I left feeling like I had eaten a healthy meal. I personally prefer stronger flavors than what I experienced here, but to each their own!

Cute laid back place! You order at the counter, grab a seat and your food is delivered to the table. Came for brunch on Saturday around 12 and it wasn't horribly busy. We ordered a chicken sandwich and the sweet squash pancakes. Both delish! The pancakes were very unique - they came with syrup but def not needed since they a a tad sweetened as is.

Delicious! Was looking for a healthier breakfast and tried the Bowl formally known as... Very yummy mix of flavors and textures. Always looking for something I can't do at home and this checked that box! Coffee was also great. Just walked over to pick up my order but the place looked super inviting. Lots of families, dogs, and bike riders enjoying a nice sunny California winter morning.

What a great little spot. The food was amazing. Loved the Sweet Squash pancakes and the Chirizo burrito. The spicy sause was just the right amount of heat.

We were lucky enough to find a metered street spot directly in front of the restaurant and did not have to wait long at all for our Saturday morning brunch for a table of two. Our server was also very polite and everything that we ordered came out very fast. I started off with the Iced Maple Latte and thought it was really nice. It was a really sweet treat and I enjoyed it. For my breakfast, I chose the Eggs Benedict with the Sujuk sausage and added avocado and croissant. It was one of the best combos I've had in a long time and I am already eager to go back again to get it. I would highly recommend to everyone and would happily say this is one of my favorite breakfast options around.

We agreed to outside patio seating at tall seats which is more than fine. but we were sat at a shared table with a family which is fine when you have context that you are doing so, but i spent the beginning of the morning listening to two different children play of their phones blasting the sound. additionally both the seats we were in were directly in the sun which for me is fine but my bf burns very easily. but okay fine, it is what it is. We politely waited until the table next to us emptied, and then told the waitress we would like to move because the sun. She said we would need to wait and she would need to check. And then came back and told us they were too busy. We watched the seat we wanted to sit in be empty until we asked for boxes for our food. We watched another table stay empty until we left. The waitress never introduced herself either. Additionally, no one checked up on us during the entire meal. Usually any sit down restaurant would ask how your meal is. No one did. we weren't even given silverware when our meals arrived. we had to go get them ourselves. We had to ask for boxes after sitting and waiting for anyone to check in. We separately had to call out to the oblivious waitress to even pay, as she was standing out there just looking around. The food was great, like i wish we would have had cash to tip the cooks themselves bc the food was really good. But Ive attached photos of the food (great!) and photos of the many empty tables that made them sooo busy they cldnt accommodate the paying costumers that already ordered. my boyfriend and I have both worked in the service industry before. But i would just say that they had horrible service which can ruin a perfectly good meal. I hope if the owner is the one I met at the door, he considers getting new waitresses .

A little on the watery side. Chicken bites came out in about 15 minutes. The coating had a very satisfying crunch, very saucy, but fell off the chicken easily and was a bit salty. This is a messy dish for sure. You will get your hands dirty! Chorizo Benedict came out about 30 minutes after order. Not great honestly. Portion size was generous. The eggs were poached decently, still runny, but the chorizo itself was bland and rather dry. The potatoes were room temperature. The bread a bit too chewy. Not AT ALL spicy. Super light on the pico de gallo. The service was rather slow for not being very busy. They didn't appear to be understaffed either. The location itself is cozy and not too loud, which is nice!
