I've only been in the area a short time and was suggested to go here, just before it became Bondi. I found the food at the time to be good, but reasonably priced. Not huge portions, but filling. I can say, I'm probably not going back after the "remodel". I walked away today paying $18 for a VERY small sandwich, chips (extra) and an ice tea. The sandwich was supposed to be a chicken, I had to pull it apart to make sure there actually was chicken in it. Not sure there was even 2 oz of chicken on it. Tasted good, but not $18 good. Certainly not The Carving Board. No wraps any more, a big disappointment. Some of the things on the menu, such as a salad, they didn't have. Some times, change isn't for the better. read more

Such a gem hidden in a random parking lot! This place was buzzing when we showed up. Cave man bowl, summer squash pancakes and smoothies were so good. Adorable decor at this cute spot. I came on the second day and I was very pleased with the food and the ambiance. Though my food took longer then what was quoted, I understood that it just opened and the staff needed time to adjust. But 2nd and 3rd time- no excuse. I also decided to call in for my breakfast to avoid the delay in timing, and they said it should take 10 min. When arriving 15 min later, they still took an extra 20 minutes to hand over scrambled eggs and toast. Baffled! Staff is extremely slow, and appears to not be empathetic when they say something takes 5 minutes but it actually takes 20- 30 min. I get that this is a soft opening, but understand that people don't have time to wait, and if you quote a time, and it takes longer- Apologize for the inconvenience. Looking at other reviews about this restaurant , It appears that I am not the only one. I was so excited because I literally work across the street from this restaurant, however after multiple unsatisfactory experiences, I will be taking a walk with the others from our office to Lime, Santa Monica. read more

This place kinda sucks. Who messes up a Caesar Salad? First of all, how can you call it a Caesar if it has an avo pesto on it? And the lettuce was so big that it was hard to eat. Why is it that place like this and Tender Greens can't chop their lettuce smaller? Is it that hard? And then I actually did not get the Caesar dressing on the side... I just got the avo pesto... so I think maybe rename this salad to Bondi Avo Pesto Chicken Salad. Caesar is a Caesar. I've been a loyal customer of Tada and Commodore cafe but I can't be a loyal customer of Bondi Harvest. I can't be a loyal customer because of the Service. I put up with Shirley attitude for years because at the Tada price point I didn't except anything great but now that we have Bondi Harvest pricing I just can't do it. I've never meet a food industry worker (especially one who works for tips) with such attitude. Just interacting with her makes me want to stay far away. I added back in two stars for the new Bondi Harvest employee who was just hired because she's amazing and has great customer service skills. read more

The problem with this place is the prices and lack of affordable food. It used to be the kind of place where you could get a bagel and fruit salad at a reasonable price. Now none of that is on the menu and in its place is a box of scrambled eggs and bacon for $12. While the people are nice, the wait is overly long. Also, I feel the restaurant needs to be aware that there is a school across the way where students relied on the cafe for affordable coffee and food. Now many of them can't even swing that. I always loved the variety of healthy and vibrant foods Bondi Harvest presented, however, my latest experience with the place was horrible. I worked within walking distance and placed a phone order today for their breakfast burrito and subbed the chorizo for avocados. After walking back to work, I find out they had left my avocados out so I gave them a call and they were happy to make me a new one. When I got back to Bondi Harvest the barista accused me of taking the wrong burrito and asked if I had already bitten into it? ugh! What other way am I able to find out yall left out my avocados? I loved my experience here. From the people, to the dogs, to the food, to the coffee it's just stellar all around. After visiting Australia, I wished that we had the same sort of simple breakfast set-up here in the states and here it is! Lets just say first and foremost this place is out of this world! The vibe of this spot as soon as you walk in is just awesome. Everybody that works there seems to just be so happy. The new owners must be doing something right lol! . The previous owners employees always seemed miserable except one, which is Shirley. I've been going to that cafe since it was tada. Shirley has been the only employee loyal to that building lol since she started working there. She has always done an amazing job at managing the cafe. Shirley is always so accommodating and never having attitude. Bondi Harvest offers delicious, healthy food with fresh ingredients, and a great ambiance. Super overpriced for what you get - I ordered an Açaí Bowl and it was the same portion you'd give a child and very clearly something they'd premade and frozen. My friend got a burrito but it was similarly overpriced for the quality. They're also not super friendly at the counter. There are better brunch spots in town. read more

Small place hidden in the middle of busy area. Loved the food, amazing gluten free options, and great coffee. If I had one complaint it would be a lack of parking, but this small inconvenience pales in comparison of the amazing quality and flavour of the creations. Enjoy! read more

This little "hole in the wall" place is absolutely wonderful! Berkeley St is basically like a little alley right here, so you might be a bit confused when you're trying to find it, but it's well worth the search! I had an acai bowl and my colleague had a breakfast plate, and we were both as pleased as could be! Highly recommend. read more

Worst service ever. Waited an hour for the first plate to come and 25 minutes between the others. It was more than an hour between my plates and my friends plate. The vibe is really nice and the food is pleasant. I bought the pancakes and they were delicious. I would say that their coffee is a little too expensive given the small size of the cup. I like that they have tables outside and provide blankets for those who eat there. I would recommend to go early otherwise it's really hard to find a seat. Very cute place with friendly staff and lots of healthy options. I ordered the Formerly Known As bowl and added soy-rizo. It was a nice combination of items, but SO SALTY. The soyrizo, falafel, cauliflower and hummus were all salty. Only the kale was not. I ended up not being able to finish. The kitchen needs to combine salty and not-salty ingredients or simply cut down on the salt. My friend ordered a smoothie which was great and the mixed daily veggies which she said were fresh but also very salty. read more

Really amazing stuff. I had the Whirley's bowl and it was the perfect combination of delicious and healthy. There was no wait around 230ish when I arrived, and plenty of seating. Okay. The people who work here are amazing! Very nice and friendly. However, it's EXPENSIVE!! We each had a sandwich, shared a salad and a bottle of water and our lunch came to $53.00. We waited almost 45 minutes. I would give this place 1 star but the staff are very friendly. The food is good but overpriced for what it is. I could eat around the corner and have a better meal for 1/3 the price. I hate giving cool people or locations bad reviews but I would not return. It's really that simple. I believe they are busy because of the location...however...it's not worth the prices. I just mentioned the wait time and the cost to a colleague and she said she heard it's outrageously expensive for what it is. Great location, info and outdoor seating but not worth it. I mean I'm still shocked at the prices and the wait time! A reasonable amount elsewhere for what we had should have been less than $20.00. So pleased with this find. I feel like I am in the know, despite likely being late. So this skirt steak sandwich and on the green smoothie I had packaged to go because, although I was eating there, I never finish sandwiches and a smoothie. Well, finished it!!! Finished it All!!! The meat was so good. Yum! Yum! Breakfast menu looked great. My friend had some chicken or salad, but I was too focused on my deliciousness, so I can't really tell you about her food. This is a great little hole in the wall restaurant. I was excited to find this place and I ordered the Whirley Bowl and a Mango Madness smoothie. Once I got my order the food was perfect, fresh, light and tasty. My one complaint would be the price for my fiancé and myself it was just north of $40 for lunch. Was highly recommended by friends so I was very excited about Bondi! The branding and website are great and it made me look forward to the experience even more. I went on a Sunday for lunch and, after waiting in line, I was disappointed to learn that they were out of bread (a staple item for their sandwiches). How do you run out of bread on the busiest day? Delicious food, especially the two bowls they offer. The avocado toast was sweet and may not be for everyone. Dog friendly and wonderful employees. Can have a line and little seating at lunch hours mon-fri but that's normal of a great food spot in the middle of offices. Parkings not the best, but the food makes up for it. read more

Great place for breakfast and brunch. Loved the Acai bowl and the coffee. Everything else looked absolutely fantastic too and my friends enjoyed it. Will definitely be back.
