Lena Chi, BMW + Alex, Mini. I called in Saturday morning just to make sure they weren't on an appointment bases. I was quickly sent over to speak with Lena. As a first time buyer on my own as a young gal, Lena's tone of voice put me at ease. Alone, I trusted that and casually got into my car and drove 20 miles to make a visit with little to no expectations of walking out with a purchase that day. I meet Lena and automatically felt her sense of empathy, compassion, knowledge, experience and the simple fact she was there to deliver transparency and to ensure my needs were met. I was then introduced to Alex who is part of Mini. As a loyal Mini driver, I felt compelled to stay with the Mini Cooper Family. Both Alex and Lena collaborated in making sure that I was taken care of and brought together a sense of family orientation and connection. I like to consider myself as someone who is intuitive and can read people well and I went into the place with the notion that these people are trying to sell. Lena and Alex both exhibited comfort, understanding, security and helpfulness (along with hope for humanity for me personally) that they genuinely cared about their purpose in helping their customers live out their goals (and sometimes dream) in purchasing the car they want. I say this all to say, I signed the deal only after an hour and a half and the rest was history. This was by far the best first time experience and far exceeded my expectations. I am forever grateful. I need to add, Chris. I went in to pick up my car and he happened to be walking toward the door. Chris took the time to greet me (instead of just walking past) conversed with me to make sure I wasn't sitting around waiting and was extremely personable. At this time, I had no intention of purchasing a BMW. I was just looking for a newer luxury SUV. I seen an olive green 2020 X5 and loved the color. I didn't test drive it. He gave me his cell phone number and continued the search, I looked at Mercedes, Land Rover, Audi and Porsche. But I kept coming back to this beautiful X5! Now it became a 2021 BMW X5 with all the bells and whistles. Long story short. He always responded to my messages in a timely matter. I had particular specks I wanted. I test drove it twice. And then we finally got the exact one I wanted in December. I absolutely love it and so does everybody else who gets in it. Yesterday I went to the mall and my key fob detached from the key. I was in a panic. I called him! He told me to just start it from my phone and drive home where I had additional keys... definitely was calm as I was panicking I searched for another 30 minutes though and found it. Howard is great! Service department has horrible customer service. When I called to schedule a service appt, I explained everything I needed. When I arrived, the service rep had no clue about what services I was requesting so I had to repeat everything. Why wasn't there any service notes? The complimentary Lyft as shuttle service is only one-way but other dealerships offer 2-way shuttle service. I asked for an estimate on a service and the service rep only gave the price for the part. I had to ask to figure out if there was a labor charge...why not tell me the whole cost when I request an estimate? The service rep asked via text if I approve a service at 4:15pm. I approved at 4:23pm. At 5:45pm I had not heard any status about my car. I asked the service rep and he said he never received my approval. I said I sent him the approval at 4:23pm. He then said it doesn't matter, the dealership closes at 5pm and the car will be ready tomorrow. Why didn't he give me an update on my car on his own? Finally, the parts department sold me the wrong bulb for my car. I asked the service rep if he can exchange the bulbs so I get credit on my bill for the wrong part that the parts dept sold me. He said he cannot because they "sold it to me not him." It's one dealership parts and service should work together, especially when one dept sells an incorrect item to the customer. I went with my daughter, Katie, to test drive a BMW X3. This would be Katie's first car. Our sales person was Lennon Solis. We had been to several dealerships before test driving other cars. I think the thing that stood out the most with Lennon is that he was low key. He absolutely didn't pressure us at all. We seriously didn't know too much about cars. Lennon was patient. His knowledge of the BMW X3 was great. I loved the fact that he let us test drive the car without him. We first went to the Concord BMW dealership on December 31, 2024. I texted Lennon several times afterwards for information on the X3. I did my research about the car and Lennon was timely in getting back to me answering all my questions I had. My car ran perfect when I brought it to you guys to begin with. I go in there today with my dad and we ask for a manager they then change their story and say that it was a technician error when the recall was performed and that the the tech didn't time the vehicle correctly. I will never take my car here ever again. Even for a recall. You can't trust them and their faulty incompetent technicians. Poor poor service. No apology or anything from Manager Raphael. My experience with BMW Concord was with their service department, specifically with Service Advisor Victor B. We had a coolant leak on our 2022 BMW X5. I did not have an appointment and brought it into the service drive not knowing what was wrong with it. The service drive and the majority of the service advisors were busy at the time. Victor looked up from his desk and offered assistance. I explained the situation and Victor was able to make time in the schedule to have our vehicle be diagnosed the same day. Victor provided me with a Lyft to bring the vehicle to the service center. Immediately realized there was some road debris that had damaged the aux radiator. Victor reassured me that my insurance would take care of the costly repair. They provided us with a comparable loaner vehicle as a courtesy and that process was flawless. Throughout the entire process, Victor kept me updated with the repair order and coordinated with my insurance agent and took care of the paperwork. Everything was stream lined and I can't thank Victor enough for getting us back on the road within a week of dropping the vehicle off. I recommend Victor B to be your service advisor. I recently purchased a late model certified pre-owned (CPO) 2015 BMW 328d from BMW of Concord. I was shopping for a car to be used as a commuter by me for the next 3-4 years and have it transition into the car that the kids learn to drive with and share after that. Like any dealer, they have cars priced anywhere from above to below market value. I looked at a total of four BMW's and one Mercedes. We ended up working with two salespeople just due to time constraints - we came in near close of business one day and finished up the morning of the next day. Every person we interacted with there was extremely courteous, professional and knowledgeable. The sales staff knew their BMW's well, they highlighted differences between models, clearly communicated the CPO warranty end dates, as well as end dates for related BMW services for each of the BMW's we looked at. From the appearance, layout, and cleanliness of the showroom floor, to the consistently positive interaction with every member of the BMW Concord staff, the experience stood in stark contrast to our previous interactions with a competitor luxury car dealer. Once I'd selected a vehicle, they began cleaning it up. I had two due-bill items (items where I demanded the dealer guarantee repair). They didn't bat an eye, more importantly, they had one of them taken care of while we were doing paperwork. I paid cash (check to be precise) but for flexibility, and being able to take the vehicle home before the check clears, they provided back up financing. The rate they got me is exceptional. While waiting to go in to do paperwork, the BMW Genius came out to show me everything there is to know about the car's technology. This is a simply fantastic touch, and dramatically shortened the learning curve for all of the vehicles technology as a result. I will certainly return if I need another vehicle. read more

Took my bmw to get an oil change and after I leave service manager informs me that I have a flat tire. Neither he nor I can get the exact replacement tire so I bring up 4 tires for them to install. They then throw away my 3 good tires!!!! Service guy dodges my texts, next service guy gets the head of service to call me. Guy admits it's their error, wants to make it right and says a $485 check will be issued. Never showed, called him again, no call back. Liars are making me drag them to small claims court. After I was approved for everything the following day, I was reviewed the documents to finalize everything and I noticed that the year they selected was the 2022 version... but the 2023 one doesn't even have an electric version! Customer service was great, super nice and keep you informed. The mechanic who worked on my car --not so great. The do this little video thing, but it's of zero value. Identified 4 problems, at a cost of 12k. Um, no thanks. Took my car to my usual mechanic and to Bavarian in Berkeley. BMW misdiagnosed 3 issues (2 of which weren't even a problem!). The 9k roof repair that they told me I needed a new harness, only needed a wire replaced. The 2 repairs that needed to be done cost less than 2k--and it didn't take almost a week to diagnose what the problems were. SMH, unless you are under warranty, avoid the service department here! read more

The only reason I come to this dealership is because of Miguel & Mason (service) & JC & one other person in the loaner department who typically does the paper work & whose name I forget (apologies for this). I've been told incorrect information about what types of services need to be done & I was honestly surprised by how unknowledgeable some representatives are. I fully trust Miguel & will continue to come to this dealership for the great service that he gives when it comes to explaining any issues that comes up and keeping me updated on the status of my car. The previous times I was treated rudely, told that I cannot get a rental car because I didn't buy my car from Mini/BMW. My car was there for over six hours and it wasn't detailed. For months I've been getting notices of an airbag recall. Hesitant about going to the dealership, I knew I had to get it done. I called and made an appointment, and they gave the name of the advisor I was supposed to meet. I got there about 15 minutes early and waited. Apparently that was "no-no" because my advisor said that someone was already scheduled before me. But he helped me anyway. And guess what, it took several minutes to process me in, and the person who supposedly had the appointment before me...never showed up. He tells me to have a seat as he needed to do something. It was a nice waiting area. Oversized chairs, free coffee, tea and water. I didn't have to wait long so that was nice. Since he said it would only take about an hour, I stated that I would like to pick it up during my lunch hour since they close the shop at 6pm. I would need a shuttle to come and get me from my place of work. Ok, that was all settled and I gave them my key. Oh, he also mentioned that they wash the outside of the car and clean the front interior, and give it likea 90 point check or something like that. Ok cool. It's lunchtime and the shuttle driver calls to tell me he's on his way to pick me up. I arrive at the dealership and it's a lot busier. I meet with my advisor. He tells me that my vehicle is done, but of course tells me that I apparently have this leak and it would cost an whopping $4k or so to fix it. My jaw just dropped because I just had it at my mechanic's and they never said anything about a leak. They've never done me wrong, so I was not buying anything this advisor was saying. I get my paperwork and an orange tag, and told to wait outside for my car. I saw one lady outside and she had been waiting for a good 30 minutes for her car. After hunting someone down, they finally check her orange tag to find her key, and get her car. She finally gets her key and car and drives off, and I'm thinking "great, now it's my turn". And I wait. And I continue to wait. I get a phone call and I'm still waiting. While on the phone, my advisor says that they are still looking for my key. I got annoyed, since I was already waiting for a while. I finish my conversation and still no key and no car, and they're still looking for it. They kept coming by and telling me that they were still looking for it. I kept saying that it has a yellow cross on it. It should stand out. How the hell do you lose a key all of a sudden, when you deal with keys all the time? Then they thought the tech had it, and he was out to lunch. I couldn't care less about their excuses, I just wanted my darn car back. My lunch hour had come and gone and I've had nothing to eat. I walk to my advisor's desk and sternly stated that while they're still looking for my key that they need to drive me back to work because my lunch hour is up. He apologized, said he'd call me when it was found, and drive my car to my work if needed. I got a ride back to work from one of the ladies at the desk. Though annoyed, I did think she was cool to chat with. I'm in meetings all afternoon. I squeeze in a time to call around 4pm but get his voicemail. I call again close to 5pm and finally get him on the phone. He had no clue who it was. After a moment of silence he realizes who it is and stated that they found the key 15 minutes after I left the dealership and if I wanted them to bring my car to me. He confirmed the location of my place of work and an agreed upon. Why did not call me when the key was found, as he stated?!?! And why did I rush downstairs, wander all over the lower part of the parking garage to learn that he's in the wrong parking garage? Again, frustrated. I just wanted my car and to be done dealing with them. Their incompetence was infuriating. I'm just SO happy that I didn't have to pay Concord BMW a dime. I look in my car and see that they have a KeyTrak tag still in my car. I used to work at dealerships and know what these are used for. Makes me wonder how many other keys they have lost. I've rated a 2-star only because the coffee was pretty good. I had a disappointing experience at BMW Concord after not visiting a dealership for years. I went in for a 2019 Honda that my son had been negotiating for with salesperson Eugene. I asked Eugene what was the mileage when they received the vehicle. After fumbling with his computer, he asked me why did I want to know. After some unnecessary back and forth, he finally provided the mileage. Once we got through the mileage fiasco, I mentioned we had arranged a pre-purchase inspection. Suddenly Eugene mentioned there was another buyer and if the other buyer purchased the vehicle prior to my pre purchase inspection, there was nothing he could do. At that time I informed him I was paying for an inspection and if there was another buyer he should have told us ahead of time. In addition, we had been to the dealership twice, once to test drive and then this time, to inspect and purchase. After Eugene started his rant of there's another buyer and we needed to purchase now, I asked for a manager. Eugene supposedly went to look for a manager however never returned. Once the mechanic showed up to inspect the vehicle I went into the dealership and asked for the manager. Again no Eugene. I explained the situation to the manager. The manager agreed for us to have the inspection and if we did not purchase the car it would be offered to this "other buyer". We had a minor concern after the pre purchase inspection, however had the interaction with Eugene been better we would have still made the purchase. read more
