Do NOT BUY and Do NOT get your car REPAIRED at BMW CONCORD. In July 2021, I brought my 2006 BMW 330 to BMW Concord to get repaired for Unintended Acceleration, which occurred 3 times when my father drove it for the first drive after he started using a new FOB key purchased from BMW Concord. It had no mechanical issues prior to using the new FOB key. Two occurrences happened at stop signs and one time in his driveway, which I witnessed myself. Each time it sounded like the pedal was to the metal and my father slammed on the brake, put it in neutral and turned off the car. Per BMW Concord's receipt pictured in this review, the Unintended Acceleration was due to "a bunched up floor mat near the gas pedal," and that there was no mechanical issue. They said such an issue was not possible. I implored BMW Concord to continue testing the vehicle and to do the research necessary to diagnose the problem. I showed them ample examples of this issue from BMW forums and possible fixes. However, per my conversations with the mechanic Alan Elias and manager Alex Nop, they refused to look at this research. I decided to tow the car to another mechanic. During the tow process, the AAA tow truck driver experienced the BMW's Unintended Acceleration. I was in shock and appalled that a BMW dealership would speak to their customer this way and seek to intimidate me. You can get a better customer service experience at a Wendy's run by teenagers. - BMW Concord gave me the wrong contact information for their manager multiple times - I asked for the manager's email after BMW Concord's initial analysis failed to diagnose the Unintended Acceleration problem. Twice, mechanic Alan Elias gave me the wrong email, writing alex.nop@bmwconcord.com on a sticky note. I called BMW Concord Customer Service later to get the correct email. They gave another email incorrect email. I called again, they said that they could not give me his contact information because it was "against company policy." I was again in shock. I have never dealt with ANY service business that will not provide manager contact information. Finally, they put me through to his phone line instead. I told Alex my experience and said they have a responsibility to diagnose this life threatening mechanical issue or give me my money back, Alex Nop stated there was "no problem with it" and he would feel good "letting his mother drive it." I don't think it deserves any star. It was a waste of time & a terrible service. I am interested in comparing and making my final choice, and need to get details & test drive. The salesman asked me to come and visit the dealer on my busy day so I had to make a trip on the weekend. When I made a trip & visit, the salesman that supposed to help me ignored me and asked me to wander around outside to look at the car by myself and said he would get a key but never came back. I waited again inside and when he attended to me finally, he was very abrupt and didn't get me the detailed quotation that I wanted, insisted details were already on the website, which clearly stated to check the pricing with the dealer. In one instances he loudly said "this is a $50M car" when I asked for leasing details on the other model I am interested in. I left the dealership upset, without test-driving the model I wanted to test drive, and went to another dealer that sells the same model but with better customer service. As with all dealerships, your experience really depends on the individual(s) you're working with. Our experience was a positive one with Kris M. from sales and Alex C. from finance and would highly recommend them if you're looking to buy a new BMW. Whole transaction spanned 2 days. Saw a X5 we were interested in on Sunday and arrived an hour before they closed. Kris was able to accommodate us, but informed the car had just arrived and needed inspection/prep before we could test drive it, but was happy for us to take a look at the car. Sure enough, the car still had the white wrap and all protective films still on. Kris was able to read the room that we wanted to discuss the car among ourselves and silently excused himself and gave us all the time and space we needed to look at the car in detail. We really appreciated this. After, we had an offer in mind and proposed it to Kris. He was diligent in working our numbers and was truly transparent, never pushy, throughout. When we finally agreed on the numbers, he showed us the full breakdown of fees and the interest rate so we knew exactly how he reached his numbers and knew how much of a discount we were receiving. We said we'd be back tomorrow for the test drive and if it goes well, we can move forward. We then communicated easily through text to schedule the test drive. On Monday, we came in for the test drive and Kris had the car prepped for us. Due to Covid, he did not come with us, but gave us the keys and a license plate. This was a nice touch compared to other dealerships so we could chat in private about the car during the test drive. Afterwards, we loved the test drive and decided to move forward. This is where their procedure may differ from what you may expect, in a good way, especially due to Covid and you not having to sit at the dealership for hours. We filled out an application there at the dealership, but everything else was done virtually via a phone call and DocuSign from home. The call with Alex from finance was great. I was anticipating hard selling of protection plans and for this conversation to be tiring and eventually awkward, but Alex was very understanding. He had the perfect balance of ensuring we understood the plans, gave his recommendations, but ultimately did not pressure us into taking the plans. I really appreciated this aspect working with Alex. The whole call took less than 10 minutes and we had a link to digitally sign our paperwork soon after. Kris then texted that we could come pick up the car that day and we arrived in the late afternoon where Ken, a BMW genius, walked us through the car. Our experience with Ken was also great. He was enthusiastic about our purchase and helped set up our car's profile and walked through settings we should be aware of. Overall, I really appreciated the straightforwardness, attention to detail, transparency, and communication received from Kris, Alex, and Ken. Bait and Switch - Do Not Buy Here Many of the most desirable cars on their website are sold but listed as available to bait you. I was in the market for a new car recently for the first time since 2018. A lot has changed in car sales between 2018 and 2021. We're in a pandemic, selections are done online, and dealerships, like this one, have switched to a "fair"price policy. There's nothing fair at BMW Concord! I've been shopping online on their website and the first car I id'ed as a potential turned out to be sold after I messaged my sales person. However, the sales person, Howard, recommended other options. I found another option that I liked (both happened to be convertibles) and that one also happened to be sold. If both of the options I liked were sold, why were they still on the website? Simple. Bait and switch. I emailed Howard and instead of apologizing and explaining in a cogent manner why "sold" cars are used as bait online, he shut me down and replied "Good night Steven". Stay away from this place! I brought my vehicle in for some issues I was having the AC shutting on/off and I was assigned Gabriel in the service department. I explained the problem and without hesitation he said they would look into the issue and the timeframe for the work completion depending on possible diagnosis. Within 20 minutes my car was taken in and I was on my way back home in a loaner vehicle which was brand new and immaculate. All staff wore masks and there was hand sanitizer stations throughout the facility. Took 3 days to complete the work and get the AC unit replaced. Haven't had any issues since the repair and didn't have to pay a dime thanks to my warranty on certified used BMW. He even reset the oil light which wasn't done when I had an oil change(not done by dealer). Talk about above and beyond. I plan on going to concord BMW for all of my future services. The underfloor panels came loose on my car and I secured them with duct tape I called to check price beforehand because I knew this place was expensive. I was told it would cost 200.00 "just to look at it" I was also told my car had a recall, so I decided to bite the bullet and do both at once. Our family came here a few weekends ago when my husband saw a car online that he was interested in. He called the night before and talked to Tony Yuan to make sure there was nothing wrong with the car before we made the hour and a half drive. Upon getting to the dealership the next morning at roughly 10 AM, we waited about 10 minutes for Tony to come out to where we were. He showed us the car, we took it for a test drive, and my husband had his heart set on it. We went inside and my husband, like any smart shopper, tried to see if they could come down on the price just a little. Tony was adamant that the sticker price was their final price. My husband asked if he could ask his boss and Tony kept pushing back, saying that he knew his boss would say no. My husband asked if he could ask Tony's boss himself. Reluctantly, Tony agreed, and his boss came out and reiterated what Tony said. We were a little surprised at the resistance. These past several months, we had been to a LOT of dealerships and all of them were willing to negotiate on the price to win our business but not BMW Concord. Their attitude is that if you don't like the price, to hit the road. They don't seem to be hungry for your business, at all. Whenever we went to other dealerships, we felt like our business was wanted but not here. Their customer service is truly lacking. Despite not being able to come down on the price, we decided to go with the car (BMW M550i xDrive). By now, it was around 11:30. Tony told us the car needed to be detailed and suggested we go grab some lunch. He said the detailing would take 2-3 hours. He also said that his finance guy was going to call us before 1 PM for us to complete the paperwork. From what we understood, their finance guys weren't there on the weekends and so, everything is done over the phone. We went down the street, where there were luckily a lot of restaurants, and had lunch. We got back right before 1 and that's when their finance guy called. By now, my phone battery was almost dead and there was nowhere quiet in the dealership to sit down and take the phone call. The guy at the front desk tried to find us a room but he said it was occupied. I resorted to going to my car, since I could use my car charger there and listen in silence. The finance guy went over the paperwork, then said he was going to email me the contracts for me to DocuSign. After getting off the phone with him and signing the contracts, we wrote a check for the car and gave it to Tony. We asked him if the car was done getting detailed and he said they were just going to start on it! By now, it was around 2 and we were all tired and restless, not to mention our kids. We believe that the car never got detailed when Tony told us to grab lunch and that he was, in fact, waiting for us to pay for it first, in order to make sure it was a done deal, before getting it detailed. And that's fine if he had communicated that from the get-go but he didn't communicate that. Instead, we had to now wait another several hours at the dealership, for them to get the detailing done that they had promised us 2 hours ago. Their lobby isn't exactly up to the par, either. No snacks, just drinks, and no couches. It's a good thing I had already packed us a ton of snacks (moms always think ahead!) or else sitting there for another few hours with small kids would have been almost unbearable. Before the car came out, Tony told us that they didn't have the spare BMW key the car is supposed to have. He said the owner never turned it in. We told him we lived far and couldn't make the drive down here, again, for the key. He said we could go to our local BMW dealership and have them bill BMW Concord for the key. This was another inconvenience. They knew they only had one key from the owner and they knew that this car would eventually sell, so why not just have a spare key already ordered and ready to go? By the time I left the dealership, it was 4:45 PM! My husband was in his new car with the guy who goes over all the car features with you and I told my husband I was going to head back because I just about had it. This experience with BMW Concord was long and extremely exhausting. We have obviously purchased cars in the past at other dealerships and had not had an experience like this that was so cumbersome and draining. Add to that their poor customer service, and that's just the cherry on top of the whole experience. Every customer wants to feel like they are valued and that their business is needed. BMW Concord made us feel the complete opposite. If this wasn't my husband's dream car that he had been trying to find for months on end, we would have walked out. But we had to put up with the poor service because this was the car my husband wanted and hadn't been able to find anywhere else. Judging from these other negative reviews and the lack of response from BMW Concord, I think it's fair to say they could really care less about this type of feedback. read more

Came here to check out a m2c, they had the only one in norcal in the color we were interested in. The staff was nice and helpful and they do a good job with covid restrictions (someone was at the door to check you in etc..) the dealership overall looked nice and clean, no complaints at all. The only "downfall" I would say is that most of the roads surrounding the dealer are pretty congested local roads so you can't really test out the cars that well read more

I must say that this dealer has fallen off the radar within the last year. I've been an loyal customer for BMW Concord for almost 12 years now. Sad to say that I will no longer return to purchase, service or do any sort of business with this dealer. Service Department: Within the last 2 years I've services a couple of my vehicles and though they are fairly quick and responsive, they have some serious attitude problems. I understand you service luxury cars, but these last few times their reps are walking around entitled as if they are doing the customers a favor by taking the time to speak with them. I'm sorry, but the service department in any dealer is where the money is made. Customer satisfaction should be the number one, priority hands down. My service advisor, during my most recent visit was super vague, rude and simply impersonal. No sort of emotion, and took a "no care" attitude about things I wanted to have addressed. I'm not sure if it was because I'm within my first year of service for a new car that they know they aren't charging be the reason they just give zero shits about my business. Horrible service! Loaner Department/SunWise Auto-group: Upon the first 10 miles of me driving a loaner car, I unknowingly ran something over and ended up damaging something under the hood. Long story short, the whole ordeal seemed a bit suspect in the beginning by the way the situation was presented to me. Without explanation, or any sympathy towards the situation, the initial call from the Loaner Department was extremely rude and accusing me of destroying their car. Now, I'm not a mechanic, but an explanation as to what is going on, what happened, and proof of the matter would have been helpful in understanding the unfortunate event, but their representative was a complete DICK, about the situation. All in all, be aware of this dealer. I've recommended several friends to buy/service their Beamer's, and they've all said it's been bad experiences, they simply just suck! STAY AWAY. read more

Experience the service i was there 11:10 waiting for service and i waited in my car. After 11:45 this angel service advisor tells me they're all going for lunch. Said all service advisor all going at the same time for lunch and i told him i wait and his gonna tell me his gonna help me 1:45 .. i told him i just need change oil. For my bmw x3.. he like to telling to move your and comeback next time .. which lucky i never bought my car from them when i put a downpayment of 10k. I ask for refund from them and bought my car at bmw east bay pleasanton.. this the 3rd time i went at bmw concord in service.. i never had a good experience just change oil... the two times there broke my car. And lucky the bmw america compensate me regarding the advisors dumb... that why im not gonna bring my car and recommend bmw concord even i lived 10 mins away from the dealer.
