I brought my vehicle for an BMW extended warranty service repair after my regular shop was unable to diagnose an electrical issue. Making the appointment was quick and easy. When I arrived the service advisor claimed I didn't have a warranty, then that my warranty didn't cover the issue I had, and then after bringing the warranty paperwork for him to review he admitted the issue was a covered item and took in the car for diagnostic. He required that I signed a pre authorization for a something I'm not sure of. No loaner car was offered. The car was dropped in the early afternoon and it was left with them overnight before it was looked at. In the morning when they began the repair it was throwing low voltage codes like they left something on all night. They reset the vehicle computer system, stopped all diagnostic and claimed the battery low voltage made the warranty void. I provided the independent repair shop diagnostic report from before the vehicle was brought to them which included the vehicle computer readouts before they drained the battery but they insisted that my warranty was void for all electronic components. They charged my credit card for the some $300+ service I had to pre authorize to get them to even look to see if they would repair my car under warranty. And then they sent me on my way. read more

I had a disappointing experience at BMW Concord when I brought my car in for coding a halogen to xenon headlight retrofit. Despite their assurances in being able to perform the coding, they failed to eliminate the bulb error codes, which was a primary part of the service. Additionally they overwrote my after market tune, causing a check engine light, the cars timing being thrown off, and ultimately leaving my car inoperable for weeks. They should have been able to code the headlights without overwriting critical settings such as my performance tune. They didn't ask about modifications or provide a warning about potential changes to the ECU. On top of this in order to modify ones ECU you have to remove it, my ECU has a fat sticker stating that the car is tuned and who it's tuned by. When I reached out to the manager Robert Macky he provided no solution, no apology, and denied any request for a refund on the service. They made me miss a planned trip to Tahoe cancelling my lodging situation and couldn't even provide a loaner vehicle while o sorted through getting my car back in operable condition. Garbage service, garbage hospitality, and a garbage department. Wouldn't take any of my cars here even if they were under warranty. read more

I have never had issues with BMW Concord before (been a service customer for all my cars, and we bought my wife's CPO X1 here), but the new ownership seems to have really raised the bar. I took my 440i in for new tires, because none of the local tire shops had a full set. They couldn't get the wheels realigned, because apparently a California pothole of death I hit a while back had busted one of the suspension arms and I never noticed anything in how it drove. Skyler in the service department spent probably hours working back and forth with me and my insurance agent, often sending information directly to them without my involvement - all before I had even gotten the work approved. He really stayed on top of things and made sure I got taken care of. That car was getting near end of life anyway, so I also went in to take a look at i4 leases during this Summer Sale promotion from BMW corporate. Mursal in sales saw me immediately, got a few things started in the background, and sent me a list of options. She came in the next day - on Sunday, her day off - to run some numbers for me and let me test drive two models. The deal they made was incredible! Seriously, they added some credits of their own on top of the BMW promotion, and I got a pretty loaded eDrive40 for a lower payment than I was being offered for Mustang Mach-E's which were ~$15k less. After realizing what I wanted during the test drive, I found a vehicle at Weatherford that had the exact paint and packages I was looking for. Since that is also a Sunwise dealership, she arranged for that car to be reserved and transported over - which she also got rolling on her day off. So I got exactly the car I wanted at an exceptional price, ready to go at the showroom to pick up a day later. Even the paperwork was quick and easy. Alexander took care of signing online, which I did from my own home. He quickly went through the options, let me make my own decision, and had an electronic documents ready for me to sign within minutes. The entire process took maybe a half hour. I've been held hostage in dealerships for hours before getting the Sales 101 treatment. Not here. I really can't say enough good things about BMW Concord right now. Set up an appointment online. Showed up for my appointment on a Friday. The service advisor that I randomly selected when I set up my appointment online came out to ask what was wrong. I was there initially just for a recall repair. I got set up for a Lyft ride home, which was quick. I then got text messages for updates. They did an inspection and found some other repairs. I was aware of this, so I approved of it. It's dealer pricing and labor, so there's that aspect to consider. I was passed off to a different service advisor than who I was in contact with initially. Response is a bit slow. I ended up just getting a Lyft on my own to get my car. Cashier station was easy. The cashier was just unknowledgeable as to what was repaired on my vehicle. Dropped by to check out an X3 while car shopping on a dreary December day. Empty car lot, empty dealership, and Andy the sales associate that greeted us was a man of few words and far from welcoming. Since we didn't schedule an appointment, the air of doing a huge favor was *thick*. After leading us on the briefest and most useless test drive, we wanted to check out the X1 parked nearby. Do you have it in white?" "No, this is the only one we have" "Can we do a test drive?" "You have to make an appointment". Meanwhile there are 2 more X1s right behind it, one in white. Honestly the other Sunwise dealership, Weatherford in Berkeley, is far superior for the friendly customer service on my last visit there. If we end up getting a BMW, it will be from elsewhere. The service center here makes me regret having purchased a MINI. They don't provide a car for use while cars get serviced, their drop off/pick up service doesn't go far enough to get me close to home or work, nor do they provide an Uber or Lyft. Basic service takes a full day, but despite having an appointment and telling me the car would be ready by end of business it wasn't ready until the next day. It's worth taking a day off work to drive to Sacramento for service. I regret having purchased the 3 year prepaid oil change. Go elsewhere, or better yet, don't buy a BMW or MINI. Stay away from these frauds. Initial experience was good until we got to the financing, we were at the dealership and was asked to "zoom" the finance manager right in the lobby. He was unprofessional, not very knowledgable and made some inappropriate jokes. We had to dial in on our phones and try to read and sign for the agreements. After a very painful signing, it was another hell of a 2 months period where the finance manager could not figure out how to set up our paperwork. We requested to finance through our Credit Union that we have banked with for over 10 years and had them tell us the paperwork submitted was incorrect. When reporting my experience to the manager there was nothing at all. Let's also talk about this "Dentpro" coverage. It was advertised by our sales person as an easy process - go into any BMW dealership for service. We go to our local BMW to find out that that is not the case and we have to call some number to log a claim. Service depart charges a lot to tell you what you already know without making repairs. The stereo of my x5 was not working so I took it in and paid $295 for a diagnosis. They took it for a lengthy test drive and told me the stereo doesn't work. They plugged in the diagnostic tools the same as I had already done at o'reilley for free. In summary, they wanted another $700+ to "look into it further". In my opinion, they do not use any critical thinking skills or deductive reasoning. Instead of listening to the customer, they blindly follow a procedure guide and do not use common sense or leverage previous shared knowledge/experience. For example, in 90% of the cases how did you fix stereos in the past? How can you fast track a repair? Not, how can we milk the customer for a $1000+ just to "think on it" and regurgitate what is already established when the customer walked in. read more

I finally took delivery of my 2023 iX xDrive50!! (order placed 10/2022) The only issue was the anxiety from waiting lol, but that was to be expected. The whole process was hassle free and streamline thanks to the team at BMW Concord and my point of contact Kris M. Kris informed me at every important status update for my vehicle. And he was available any time I had any questions/concerns. He didn't try push me toward any warranties or options, he gave me every available option and made sure I made the right choice for me. If Kris didn't have the answer, he referred to Leo who stepped in and provided some assistance. The day I took delivery, the BMW Genius Tech William M was very patient and informed me of the key points to my vehicle. It would've taken the whole day to explain everything about the system, but William hit all the major points. He didn't take too much of my time but addressed any concern I had. He had a great attitude and showed enthusiam for informing me (1st EV driver) of how my vehicle operates. The whole experience was amazing and now I get to enjoy my iX50. If I could give the service department 6 stars I definitely would! With support like this, I can see why people become lifelong BMW customers. Shout out to Kevin H., the service foreman and his team. These guys are first class when it comes to supporting customers. We have a 2011 that experienced an infrequent part failure and not only did they thoroughly check to be sure they got the correct diagnosis, they made the repairs and fixed a couple recalls that had been lingering because I was unaware. Kevin went the extra mile to investigate the warranty coverage. While he didn't make a promise up front to cover it, the research he put forth revealed it was indeed still under warranty and they made good on the repairs. They did a comprehensive eval and even gave it a wash and vac. I recently purchased a used BMW, and when the time came for my first oil change I decided to bring it in to BMW Concord. To be honest, I was a bit nervous in reading some of the earlier reviews, but my experience went well. I made an appointment, and received both a text and email notice, and a reminder the day before. When I got to the service center, I was assisted by Francis Dejesus. He gave me an estimated cost of around $100, and they offered me a free Lyft ride home. The car was ready for pickup in the afternoon, at the estimated price, and had been nicely washed and vacuumed. All told, a good experience. read more

I HATE this dealership! Even from the first day we walked into the Mini dealership to buy my wife's car they have been a hassle to work with. Looking back, I wish I had never bought a car from this dealership. On the day my wife picked up her new car (during Covid) they told us if you have any questions about the operation of the car just go to YouTube. Really? I had just purchased a new Toyota Tacoma about a month earlier, no issues with the Toyota dealership, and they took the time to go over all the bells and whistles. I was comfortable with my new Toyota the day I left the lot. But my real gripe with Concord BMW is their service dept. I live in Napa, and even for an oil change I have to take a loaner, which means 3-4 hours of driving over two days. Their service department doesn't seem to have the ability to make an appointment and just get a simple oil change and inspection done on the spot. I don't want to take a loaner, and I don't want to come back the next day to get my car. Every time I have service done I complain and they refuse to work with me. In other words, it's their way or the highway. I promise, I will never buy another car from this dealership and I will never recommend this dealership to anyone. read more

DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! I took my car in for maintenance and they found 8 things wrong with the car. I then took my car to a local shop that my colleague had been going to for 20+ years. They only found 2 things wrong with the car. They showed me during their own inspection that the other 6 things BMW wanted me to fix were in great condition and did not need to be repaired. These BMW "advisors" are commissioned and need to be reported. Take your car to a local business that is honest, still uses factory parts, and charges you way less for labor. Side note - when I chose not to do the work with them and pick my car up, the complimentary car wash that came with my $300 inspection turned into my car covered in leaves and pollen.
