I love Bob Evans restaurants. My job and personal life combined results in me being in six towns/ cities regularly that all has Bob Evans. My experience yesterday in Marysville was quite unusual but extremely frustrating. I was by myself so I did not want to take up a table. It was around 8:30 a.m. Only one other person was at the counter. I set at the counter hich had 6 spots and only 2 out of the five was cleaned off. I set there for 15 minutes while 4 different staff walked past me numerous times and no one gaveme eye contact or said anything to me. I attempted to say something a couple of times with the o success. It was not very husy for being morning. As I observed the situation I heard 2 tables complaining, wait staff complaining about customers complaining and cook staff complaining while trying to set more plated food up on the shelf that was so full just setting there. There were peoples' orders that set there as long as I had been waiting for an acknowledement of my presence. I heard the hostess tell another staff that someone at the counter walked out. Finally, I got up and went to McDonald's. Two staff standing and talking at the register never said anything to me. Something is not right. Management needs to step up. I understand being short staffed but it not seem their management understood how to deal with it. How could staff be standing around when food was getting cold that had not been served, tables and counter needed cleared and customers sitting for 15 minutes without a, "Good morning. We are backed up but here is a coffee. Be with you as soon as we can."??? read more

Tired of getting take out orders wrong, even worse when their staff is standing around talking! They need to double check the orders before they send them out! This is the last time we are eating at bob Evans! read more

This is the worst Bob Evan's we've ever eaten at. However, being about the only breakfast menu with takeout in Marysville, we KEEP BEING STUPID and order occasionally, praying things have improved. The food is barely passable most time, the service is absolutely horrible, there has NEVER be a carryout order that wasn't wrong. EVERYTIME! There is never any condiments such as butter and syrup with pancakes, butter with rolls or biscuits, when the rolls, biscuits, or pancakes are even provided. Most recently, we purchased breakfast and was billed twice. When brought to the attention of the manager, was treated like we were trying to con them, rude and argumentative. Seriously, what are the chances a customers would order two meals, the same day, for the EXACT amount? Pretty unlikely I'd wager. I will be calling after posting this review to obtain the phone number of the corporate office to try and get my money refunded. I wonder how difficult it's going to be to get that number from the restaurant? Difficult, I bet. My advise? Cook breakfast at home; it'll be hot, fresh, all there, and won't cost you twice what it should! read more

Normally we come in on Sunday after church and I would give 4 or 5 stars. Most of the meal and service was great today, but the pumpkin bread was severely undercooked. We had two orders of the bread one was cooked well and the other was undercooked. I wish I would have thought to snap a picture the difference was obvious. We sent the undercooked order back. The manager actually sent the waiter back to our table, albeit with a new order of bread, cooked the same and told us "the manager assured me there is nothing wrong with it". We got a good laugh from that and we were talking about it, the table beside us said they sent theirs back for the same reason. I want to mention the waiter did a great job, but this isn't the first time the night manager let down the staff here. Maybe the manager believes bread that looks like dough is okay but you don't send the waiter back to the table with the same thing to tell the customer there is nothing wrong with it. read more

Got there with full crowd in the waiting area, and we were told to wait with no time given. Waited for an hour and watched every single person who came in after us get seated. Lady came up to us and said she was leaving because she waited 45 minutes for her food. We listened to multiple people ask for the manager to complain as they were checking out. A larger party before us finally left because they had been waiting for over an hour with plenty of tables in the back that could have been moved together. Finally got seated, and we were placed at a large table that was meant for at least 7 or 8 people. The hostesses were complaining to us about their jobs and there was clearly animosity between the servers and hostesses. We had to then wait for our food for 45 minutes, and it wasn't even brought out at the same time. The food was cold. Then, we found a hair in one of the dishes. When we told the waitress, she did get the manager but then took it as an opportunity to complain to us more about her job. We will never go back again. read more

Karen used to be the GM at this location and ran a tight ship but she moved to a new store a couple years ago. We used to enjoy coming here eating the good food and dinning in the wholesome family environment but after a few incidents with the same server (Angel) over and over on subsequent trips and giving her opportunities to change her behavior, attitude and downright rudeness has unfortunately not changed. Instead it has only worsened to the point we had to report it to their corporate headquarters since our last visit was shared with the current GM with unsuccessful results. After Angel literally slung our incorrectly reordered food onto our table and said, "There's your...." so sarcastically that we asked her back to our table and she ignored us. That's when we asked for the GM who only asked if our order was correct at that point! We told him that wasn't point. He never apologized or made it clear he would address Angel's behavior towards us. If it wasn't for the good food and other great staff there, we would NEVER return! read more

Even though this place has a two star review on Yelp, the parking lot is always packed and there is usually a wait to get a table because this place is usually pretty full, especially on the weekends and holidays. I though that food and service was decent. I really liked our waitress. She was very personable and really funny. We got out food quickly and once we were at a table, we were pretty much in and out. Food didn't taste too bad either! read more

Have ordered carry out from this location multiple times and have always been disappointed in service and food.

I ordered carry out and worst service ever! It took over 15 minutes to get helped to pick up my online order. I ordered a hamburger with no cheese which had cheese on it. Shortly after they come back with the burger without cheese. Get home to see they used the same sandwich and scraped off the cheese. Will not go back. read more

I placed a carry out order using the Bob Evans app. Nothing complicated--two items. I arrived to pick it up when it was supposed to be ready only to find that it wasn't even started. I waited 25 minutes while watching two employees eat in the food prep area. (I had already paid using the app or I wouldn't have waited.) There was no manager to be seen anywhere. It was ridiculous. Oh, and there were no apples for the cranberry apple salad. Seriously. read more

We decided to give this location a 3rd try.... my mistake. Wait for a table in a packed lobby due to no one cleaning tables. We were seated and were able to order fairly quick. Our waitress seemed pleasant and was running her tail off just not sure why.... again a lot of dirty tables. Waited awhile for breakfast and biscuits were WELL done and eggs cold. The waitress dropped off the bill and didn't ask if we wanted dessert, or how the meal was. We asked for another biscuit and she mentioned that the others were burnt but that was all they had at the time. While waiting we noticed a few couples asking if someone would be waiting on them. Not sure what's going on with this location. We've tried several times with takeout as well as done in and it's just NOT even standard Bob Evans quality. read more
