Stopped by for lunch and I the service is top notch! They are the friendliest, most attentive servers. I feel like they are actually glad to see me here. I didn't realize they had steaks until I saw the menu and have to come for that. Visiting from Texas I had to check out their bbq and ordered the 3 meat plate. The bbq is good but it's not like Texas. I'm missing the flavorable bark on the ribs and brisket. The smoke kinda sits on top of the meat instead of permeating it. The ribs taste like they were boiled, then they put them on the smoker. The meat falls off the bone very easily. It's no bite or pull to it. I wouldn't recommend the ribs. The brisket you can tell it was smoked and the fat melts in your mouth. The bbq sauce reminds me of when I lived in Kansas City. It's kinda sweet, Smokey and has that brown sugar that is oh so KCK. We just had dinner at Bobby Q and we left feeling satisfied and taken cared of. The food was delicious. It's our first time dining in but we've had take outs in the past so we do know how great the food is. What we didn't know was how equally great the service was! We were sat and greeted immediately. Our server, Todd, was very calm and attentive. He got our drinks and food in quickly. As I was finishing my first glass of strawberry lemonade, he was already on his way with a refill. Perfect!!! To top it all, apparently they serve complimentary cinnamon sugar beignets which was such a delightful surprise. We had to keep asking for stuff and she would stop by so quickly and then leave again that we felt like a bother. Wow let me just tell you this place is delicious and worth the money! I always get the whole hog heaven and get the double baby back ribs, brisket and pulled pork and loaded mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese and it it amazing!! So much meat and their complementary corn bread is so good and their donuts at the end are usually warm and delicious! Let me just say we had a wonderful experience and it was mostly do to our amazing server! Jaden was super professional and helpful in every way. He also went above and beyond and gave us alittle extra cornbread to take home for my brother in law who wasn't able to make it. What a great experience and service! Came here last night with my family for dinner around 8. There was quite a bit of a wait, but lthey were able to squeeze us in. The inside gives rustic vibes, super dark. We ordered the Qs rolls as an appetizer and it was pretty good. I do have to say I am highly disappointed. My family started to get their food and the waiter came out to tell me they were out of their special, the fish fry. I then opted for the brisket sandwich with caesar salad and shoe string fries. I got my side of caesar salad, which I ate first assuming the rest of of my meal would come. Unfortunately, 20 minutes go by, my family is all done eating and my food never came. I didn't mention anything to the waiter because I thought that eventually my food would come out, since it was put in at a later time. At that point it was too late and he didn't notice. He gave us the check and we told him about the situation and that it was on the receipt. All he said was "okay, I'll take it off". I personally don't think that's good customer service at all. I'm disappointed he didn't take any measures or care to ask if I wanted anything to take home. I NEVER GOT MY MEAL. read more

We've been to the other locations several times and the food and service were good but if our experience at this location was anything to go by I'd stay clear or visit one of their other locations. I have to say, I love going to this restaurant. Always had good food, always had good service. But I'm going to yelp my most recent trip, they need to be aware of what's going on. The past few times that we've been in there, we've had slow to pour treatment. The food has always been top-notch, but Service is slipping consistently! Last night, Saturday, was no exception. I get the fact that some restaurants have their regulars, and because they are regulars they like to get those people taken care of right away, But we walked in that restaurant at 8:05 in the evening, our drink order was taken at 8:25. We got our drinks 10 minutes later. When we ordered, we thought we would get our food immediately! Because, of course we waited so long. Ordering our food at approximately 8:30, and then getting our food at 9:02 was just unacceptable and unlike what we've ever experienced there before. The worst part is, it was cold. All of it! The manager, Blake, was decent enough to give us a 30% discount, but that doesn't fix the problem. There is a problem and it needs to be dealt with. We're going to give them some time to fix it before we go back. Like about six months! read more

Had checked out the Phoenix location a few weeks back and it was so good that I had to visit the Biltmore location too. Would definitely recommend reservations as it was completely filled when we arrived. Luckily we were able to grab the last table outside. Overall was a great experience. Server was friendly and attentive. We got our complimentary cornbread which was delicious. I did have a coupon to get a free zucchini app, however they couldn't honor it (even though it had both the Phoenix and Biltmore locations on it). Turns out that after looking at the menu, it seems that each location has slightly different items and I didn't even see the zucchini app as an option. Also note that the prices for their menu on their mobile site is not up to date (desktop version is accurate). All their bbq is absolutely amazing. Got the following: Beef rolls: 3 stars, good flavor and good dipping sauces but greasy as hell Whole hog: got beef ribs, baby back, brisket, pulled chicken with sides of Mac and cheese, beans, and vegetable of the day (for us it was broccoli) Beef ribs: 2.5 stars, good beef flavor but inundated with sauce Baby back ribs: 3 stars, tender and meaty, but again inundated with sauce Pulled chicken: 2 stars, dry chicken with too much sugary sauce Brisket: 2 stars, again dry but inundated with sauce Mac and cheese: 4 stars, ordered another round it was really good!! Beans: 4 stars, really good flavor and big chicks of meat too Broccoli: 4 stars, still crisp but had a nice salt level Overall, the meats were covered in too much sauce which made everything sickening sweet. I would have loved the option to have had the sauce on the side of the brisket and ribs. Originally I was going to give 3 starts because the service was slow but it seemed like my server was overworked, he was waiting on tables and was also the bartender so he was making drinks and waiting on multiple tables. Possibly they were understaffed which a lot of companies are nowadays which isn't my servers fault. He was very kind though and kept a smile. My table was sitting there for a while just looking around and I'm guessing it was the manager but she came over and asked if everything was okay and we told her we were just still waiting on our beverages. Hopefully we didn't get the server in trouble, we weren't trying to complain or rush anyone as we noticed our server was multitasking. The place smelt nice, was very clean, everyone had smiles on their faces. My pulled chicken sandwich did have a decent amount of what seemed to be small bones in it other than that the food was good. I never got a chance to visit this location before covid and now I've been twice in one month! They're THAT good. And I love that they decorated to match their Dunlap location, minus the nightclub. All of the appetizers are great but I specifically go for the spin dip because they serve it with garlic bread and chips. The unlimited golden cornbread with butter is the best time filler but you gotta be careful to not fill up on it before dinner. They have a dish called the "perfect hamburger" and honestly it really is. My date and I both ordered it because I couldn't stop hyping it up so he had to have it too. All the sides are really just meals by themselves, you get a heaping helping of mashed potatoes or mac n cheese or fries. All of which are delicious! To clarify, I was here during the whole Covid ordeal. I was seated outdoor on a nice breezy winter day and the nice waitress made sure I was comfortable with everything before I decided on my order. They followed strict covid guidelines which include spaced-out seating, masks, and sanitizing stations. I ordered the Two-Rib Combo; baby back and st. Louie, Beef Brisket Sandwich and sides consisting of Mac-n-Cheese, broccolini, and ranch beans. What can I say about this joint. I spent a good part of my college years in Tennessee so I am no stranger to good ribs. This place definitely nailed it. The ribs were nicely seasoned, not too salty, and extremely tender. I had to carefully pick up the darn things so the meat would not fall off carelessly. I didn't want to order an entire entree of beef brisket so I ordered the sandwich and it did not disappoint. It is extremely tender and smoky. My side options were also fantastic although I am sure the other sides would have been just as delicious. This was definitely a spectacular find and I cannot wait to come back here for a wholesome meal after a grueling gym session. read more

Great place for BBQ in Phoenix! I had the brisket sandwich and the brisket was super moist! It comes with BBQ sauce that I asked for on the side so I could control the amount of sauce.
