I've never heard of Bols before, but I was looking for Asian food nearby and this hit the spot! Everything was so good! My boyfriend got ramen and I got the curry katsu. We also got the Korean tacos to share, which were so flavorful. I just wish they were bigger! There are about 5 or 6 tables as well as some stool seating on the side.

Great spot for a quick lunch! I've been here a few times and it's been consistently good! I love their bowls, ramen and dumplings. The ingredients are fresh and delicious. The restaurant is low key, and it's a seat yourself after you order place, the staff is friendly and accommodating, just a no frills place. Come eat and go. Highly recommend if you're by yourself, looking for a quick bite, or with a few friends. It's clean and they have a free water station in the back.

This was a nice find! I thought the service was great since the lady taking my order was sweet and patient throughout. The ambiance is nice also- it has a couple of small booths inside to eat at- it seems you order at the counter and then sit down. We opted to go. TIP: not everything is on the menu up front or in the paper menu itself. Make sure to peep the left wall which lists some of the many items but also using the paper menu as a supplement to it. For example, I looked on the paper menu and did not see the shrimp tempura Bao bun until after I ordered and sat- I then realized they have a whole menu on the left wall. The food I had was: -Shrimp Tempura: nice and crispy, fresh. The batter was a bit overpowering to the amount of shrimp but nonetheless pleasant to eat. It paired super well with the sweet Spicy Mayo sauce it came with! -Chicken Bao Bun: fresh, although I felt it was missing something the whole time. It comes with grilled chicken and coleslaw which you can tell are freshly made. The coleslaw is fresh and crunchy. Although I ended up using the Sweet spicy Mayo sauce that came with the shrimp tempura which helped a lot. -Takoyaki Octopus Balls: pretty good! Topped with a lot of sauce and you can tell they are freshly fried. The meat inside is a decent amount from other Takoyaki Balls I've had although the dough is overpowering and mushy at points. Maybe doing a bit less dough would balance it out better. Otherwise pretty decent Takoyaki! I'm just visiting this area but would recommend you check this place out. From what I tasted- they offer fresh, quality food. Inside it feels like you're in a spot in Japan which is nice. I would def recommend ordering their Shrimp tempura Bao bun which will hopefully come paired with the Cole slaw and Sweet spicy Mayo sauce.

So glad I tried this place while I was in the area. I got a build your own KBBQ bowl with chicken. There was so much chicken and everything was so flavorful. I like that there are many options for toppings and there is a table of seasonings/sauces you can add to your food. Prices are very reasonable and service was great.

Food was amazing!!! So flavorful!!! You can add some or all the toppings and each doesn't cost extra like other places. I'm definitely coming back.

I'm starting to become addicted to this restaurant. Everything is always perfect. The ingredients are fresh, the staff is friendly, and the food comes out fast! My favorite so far is the Bibimbap, but it's hard picking one thing over the other here because it's all so good!

Definitely one of my go to places for quick fix of Korean fusion food. Their togo service is stellar. I've never had my food order wrong and precise with special instructions Love getting their loaded Bulgogi fries and Chasu-Don. Bulgogi has a char grilled flavor. Ingredients are fresh. Great flavor for both items.

Although I ordered through Uber Eats, this was some of the freshest and best Ramen that I've had in a while! I'll definitely be visiting this location soon to sit in and eat since the delivery service was excellent And I've heard that it has a pretty chill atmosphere .

Food was just okay. We had high expectations because of the reviews. The pork katsu was good, it was crunchy, and the portion is big. I would have wanted more of the curry sauce. It tasted good. And since there were 2 portions of the pork katsu, they should have provided more sauce. The shoyu soup did not taste as it should. It was definitely lacking flavor. Also, we were expecting Chasu pork with the ramen, but it came with grilled chicken, and chicken was tough. It is counter service. You place your order at the counter, then they deliver to your table.

Picked up dinner from here and I couldn't have had a better first impression. We ordered the curry katsu, bulgogi fries, and bibimbap. The katsu and the bibimbap came with miso soup which definitely hit the spot! Not a lot of restaurants will pack the soup togo, but they did here. The curry katsu was flavorful and crispy, not too oily. The bulgogi fries were saucy and delicious. Try to eat them while they are still hot! The bibimbap was one of the better bibimbaps that I've had in a while. From the seaweed salad to the bulgogi, you can't go wrong with this dish. Definitely put sriracha on top. The place inside is small but I definitely suggest picking up if you don't want to worry about seating. It was fairly empty on a Thursday evening but who knows.

Had this place twice and it's a solid spot when you're in a rush. Filling bowls with good flavors and good quality ingredients.

Bulgogi bowl with white rice, cucumbers, beansprouts, kimchi, and edamame (~$15). Way more food than it looks like in the picture.

The karaage really didn't need any sauce, tasted fine by itself. The taro chips were quite addictive, good for scooping the salad. Miso ramen broth was not too creamy; pork belly was a little bit on the leaner side. Abura ramen (brothless) is a nice option during hot weather - ginger garlic sauce gave the noodles good flavor since it's broth-less & the noodles weren't drenched; the tonkatsu had a nice crisp. Other sauce & protein options available as well. Will try other menu items next time!

Upon entering the restaurant, we were led to a kiosk to place our order before sitting down at a table. We ordered the potstickers, abura ramen (brothless), and ramen in a blanket (ramen sandwiched between two tonkatsus), plus they gave us an order of the short ribs on the house! To start, the potstickers were very good and I liked that the filling was braised pork as opposed to the traditional ground pork, but the short ribs were on the tougher side. Moving onto the ramens, I really enjoyed my abura ramen; the flavors were great and the house pickles were a refreshing touch! However, while the ramen in a blanket is a unique take, we wish there was some sort of dipping sauce on the side because the tonkatsus were a bit bland otherwise.

The restaurant wasn't busy at the time, so it was no big deal, but worth noting. The service was actually the highlight of the night, and earned this review one additional star simply because of the effort involved. Else it would be a 3 star review. There was only one server running the entire front of house while the restaurant got progressively busier, and only two chefs in the kitchen. Despite being swamped, the server worked her tail off. She didn't mess up a single order for our large group and kept things moving. I greatly appreciated her hard work. Appetizers (5/5): The wait for food was noticeable due to the staffing, but the appetizers were worth it. We ordered the Edamame, Yatai Gyoza, Agedashi Tofu, and Takoyaki, and all of them were delicious. Entrees (3/5): Unfortunately, the main courses were a bit basic compared to the starters. The Tonkotsu Ramen was strictly average; I've definitely had better broth and noodles elsewhere. If you are looking for the top-tier quality izakaya, Mr. Max Izakaya in Irving is hands down better option. However, you have to wait an hour for a table there.

We had scouted it out online, looking for a ramen place near where we were staying in Plano. Unassuming on the front, the inside is an amazing atmosphere with a vibe straight from a Shinjuku street stall. The wait staff was polite, and very nice. The chef was working away inside the replica street stall. The food arrived quickly, and was delicious! So much flavor! Everything new was somehow even better than the dish we tried before it. So good, so tasty! If we come back for another visit, Yatai is now on our list of restaurants to eat at again!
