Pleasant surprise here. The 3-curry plate is a really good deal and actually feeds two in most cases. All meats were tender and flavorful with great sauces. Veggies were good as well. This place is... Fine. I think it is really hard to do Indian food well in a food truck, so there is that. The food was ok. We got the chicken korma (which was spicer than any other korma that I've ever had) and the lamb curry (which was also spicy). The quality was ok, definitely nothing special. The naan was good, probably my favorite part of the meal. And the service was good. Also, there isn't any water (common issue with food trucks) but when I asked for a cup of water he gave us bottles for free, which I appreciated. read more

Love this place. The owner used to run another truck and I've eaten at it multiple times. I was surprised to see him at the food truck on S1st. Given that I spent nearly 25 years Of my life in India, I can confidently say that the curry was made more to an Indian palate with good flavor and spices. I ordered the non veg combo and got spinach lamb & chicken tikka masala. Personally really enjoyed the spinach lamb.. The naan was hot, fresh and straight out of the tandoor which in Indian cuisine makes all the difference. He also gave us complimentary water and dessert. I wanted this place to be good sooooo bad! The guy was so friendly and helpful, food smelled great....but it just wasn't very good. The chicken wasn't cooked to where it soaks up all the flavors, and it was kind of chewy as well. The naan was not tender and easy to eat, you had to rip away each bite forcefully. I didn't have a problem with Bombay Dhaba and the only reason why I give it three stars is because I didn't have much of the cuisine. Now I can go back and update this review when I have their tikka masala or their saag paneer. But all I've had is their Samosa which was way good and I haven't had that in awhile. They are nice enough to bring your food to you in your car so you don't have to wait in the heat. This is definitely one of the places I should go to more often. They don't have a lot of Indian Food. They have close to 20 items in their menu. It's almost like the Best of Indian Food all in this one menu. So remind me if I have a craving for Indian food, not to go to a stuffy restaurant where I know it's going to be overpriced. I'll just settle with a trailer out on S. 1st. If trying true indian items, I would say - stay away from this specific truck shop, as rotis are not made to perfection. Feels like they are blended with mexican style wrap/tacos. Some other reviews talked about how the owners were rude but I found that to not be the case! I ordered the samosas, cheese roti, lamb curry, and tikka masala. It was cold outside so the owner said if I wanted to wait in my car he could bring the order out to me. All the items were delicious and we have enough leftovers for a couple more meals! read more

I wasn't a huge fan of this place. The picnic table seating was sandwiched between south 1st street and the trash cans, making it so smelly and loud that I couldn't really begin to enjoy the food. The food was spicy, which is not necessarily bad but the flies and wasps from the trash made the experience pretty unappetizing. I ordered two veg combo for party of 3 as it would suffice as per the quantity it comes with.They do not have veg combo for Dinner,its on the lunch menu,So why does yelp still have it on the menu???? I was ordering dinner.So they at their own will send two entrees of their choice,without my extra order of naan too.They don't make naan for dinner or whatever,Then update your stupid menu on yelp.Have the courtesy to call the customer and let them know you don't serve these items for the night (if you can't even update the menu).Just don't give me something at your own will! Went here for dinner Friday night and there were plenty of parking . I ordered the veggie biryanis which is basically fried rice with vegetables. I didn't expect the portions to be so big! The food could have fed me for three days ! The entree also came with yogurt and a curry . I didn't drink the yogurt but my friend did because the biryani was too spicy for him. It was my first time and I even let the dude know and he said if I didn't like it, I can return for another dish on them. Fortunately, I enjoyed what I ordered immensely, but unfortunately, this also meant no dish on them for me--which is totally fine. I shall continue dining and trying various other yummy dishes.
