I just parked in the giant parking lot a block away and walked over. The staff seemed a bit edgy on my visit ... not sure why. The restaurant itself is rather dark & gloomy inside. Either that or they forgot to turn on all the lights. I ordered a Dub Club as I always do at an Erik's DeliCafe, and it was absolutely fantastic! So good, in fact, that I might have to forego other locations and just come here instead (even though it's kinda gloomy and hard to find). Ah well ... I can always get my order to go. ;-)

We crossed the road and I seen Erik's A frame sign pointing up the road. Tucked along the inside I have never seen this place. So we went in for a look. It was clean, well presented, the staff was welcoming. It smelled great. We asked how long they had been open there and he said about a year! What?? Crazy! We ordered a Ruben and a carrot cake. That was the best Ruben I've had in a very long time! And the absolute best carrot cake I've had! Great lunch! We will be back! Tucked around back of the post office. Just go!

M sandwiches pleasantly surprised me with its warm crusty bread, crisp tender bbq pork, and fresh cilantro and pickled veggies. The place is tiny - really no seating indoors and just a few chairs outside - but I'm adding this spot to my regular to-go rotation. I love that they give you potato chips with every sandwich, and unwrapping every sandwich that has the twine tied around it feels like you are unbundling a treasure. One tip - I thought the grilled lemongrass beef sandwich would be similar to the bbq pork one, but the beef was more like a meatloaf. Still good! Just not what I was expecting.

I was hungry and started eating the sandwich while walking, but after just a few bites I had to throw it away. The grilled pork was unbelievably salty--easily one of the saltiest bánh mì fillings I've ever had. It tasted like the meat had been heavily over-seasoned with salt, to the point where that was the only flavor I could taste. The sandwich was also loaded with mayonnaise, which made it feel very heavy and greasy. Combined with the salty pork, it ended up tasting like mostly fat and salt. The bread didn't seem particularly fresh or house-made either, which made the overall experience even more disappointing given the price. I hate leaving negative reviews, but for the cost and quality, this was not a sandwich I could finish, let alone enjoy.

We got two each of the quito beef (it's sweet b/c of raisins, you have to try it!), spicy chicken, spinach w/cheese, and mushroom w/cheese. They were all delicious! Also, we got one of each of the sweet ones as well; guava w/ cheese, and nutella. They offer red & green sauce. Red is mild, green has some punch and twang. Both tasty. The empanada dough is the same for each I think; just the right amount of flakiness to keep it light without exploding, and still have a little bit of doughy chew. Perfection! I won't pretend I know anything about Ecuadorian cuisine but I know this was super yummy and I'll be back! Who doesn't love a good meat pie from any culture?

This is only my second time in my life, having plantains, but I like them. There's just enough starch, and they are fried so they are a nice replacement for the traditional hash brown. The inside dining space is small, but if it is nice out, sit outside by the water. In the morning, you can watch the birds and the kayaks; in the afternoon, you can watch all the boats go by. I recommend sitting outside. They do serve dinner, but only on the weekends, but they are working on their schedule so that they can be open longer hours during the summer. We will come back and try their dinner.

WHAT IN THE DELICATESSEN IS GOING ON HERE AT MO'S??!!…read more First, check out my pics, then absolutely get here as soon as possible to enjoy some crazy delicious sammies and other treats! Tiny little baby deli on the edge of Belmont and San Carlos border, nice peeps serving up some seriously nice quality deli goodness. Tiny shopping center on El Camino Real with baby parking lot, lots of street parking free on the boulevard. I ordered the Sanburger 2 and chocolate croissant. Words cannot do the sammie justice, except that it's a dang Big Mac, but no burger and healthy! Whaaaaattt???!! Yes, you read that right. I want to eat this sammie everyday. Recommendation, get the sammie as they serve it for the Big Mac replica effect. There are Sanburgers 1-5. The one I ordered is 2, roast beef. They melt the American cheese on the sliced roast beef, then placed on the sesame seeded bun with shredded lettuce, mustard, MO's special sauce and lots of lovin'. When I took my first bite, I said out loud, "Am I eating a Big Mac?!" Very creative are these folks. The chocolate croissant speaks for itself. It's fully loaded flaky croissant goodness and it's huge! Head over to Mo's for an excellent sammie experience! Plan for to-go as it is very tiny, however, there are tables and outside area, too. The location used to be a Subway for years. Very nice new flavor in town. I believe they opened in 2024. I will definitely return!

But dang it....I paid nearly $11 for a Good Morning Burrito (ham, eggs, tots, a ton of cheese) that was only the length of my iPhone 14. Great taste but I was hungry still. Plus I wish it had come with some sort of salsa. There was a hot sauce bottle, bulk size, that was almost empty so I said meh. A homemade salsa would be a nice touch. My daughter got a vegetarian omlette which was basically a mushroom omlette. That seemed a good size but basic mushrooms and they had a side of spinach with some sort of dressing which I was sure was just mayo. There were a sad four tots on the side. She didn't like her matcha latte and my Vietnamese coffee lacked kick. They are well situated to serve the area and clearly have regular business. For that younger tech crowd across at Sony this seemed like a spot for them to pound away at their laptops while drinking boba and listening to lo-fi jazz.
