Food was absolutely delicious! With one exception, our Bang Bang Shrimp were served lukewarm, with coating falling off and very, very little sauce. But the other menu items we ordered were excellent. We had the Shrimp & Scallops, Fontina Pork Chop, Scalloped Potatoes, Fried Cauliflower and Broccoli. As well as 2 really good Lemon Drop Martinis. It was all perfectly cooked and served with a smile. And speaking of the service, it was perfect. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu items, very attentive, kind and helpful. The ambience in the restaurant is always nice. Low music playing, dimly and romantically lit, it's a win. They also have the patio open now. As well as beautiful Halloween decorations on the door. Made for a really nice night out. (Except for the shrimp. Love it usually, disappointed)

To say this a chain restaurant I must say the Veteran location is bomb A! In this economy catching a bomb A-Qualty happy hour is unheard of. However, Bonefish manages to pull through. The days to come are Mondays and Wednesdays before 6:30 but after 3pm. The two cocktails that has me in a chokehold is the Fresh Margaritas & the Bee's Knees Martini! The FreshMargarita is a tequila based cocktail which is really good and has a decent tequila choice of Lunazul Blanco. The Bee's Knees Martini is a gray whale gin, grand marnier and a honey syrup and sour mix that taste really surprisingly good together. Again not a bad gin selection so you know the taste is of decent quality! The bang bang shrimonis a happy hour go to on a Wednesday BTW. Honestly I enjoyed mytimeheree. I will be back!

The service was AMAZING! Everyone was friendly & looked like they actually enjoyed their jobs! The restaurant was clean. The food was delicious. Everything we had tasted good. The pineapple martinis are very sweet and did not taste like alcohol at all. Yes, I recommend this place. Cheers!

I attended the 5 Course Martini event at Bonefish Grill and for my first experience, it was pretty amazing. I certainly enjoyed the medium sized crowd and the staff friendliness. The seafood chowder paired with Veuve Clicquot was a great start to the night. Next, the brussel sprout salad had a tasty vinegarette, but alas there was not a single shaved brussel sprout as it seemed to be all lettuce instead. The lobster stuffed shrimp and winter white cosmo were also a delight. I was only a little disappointed in the consistency of the mashed potatoes and the temperature of the filet, but I understand given it was a large party. Lastly, the bourbon chocolate brownie was a treat, but the chocolate orange martini stole the show. I'd definitely attend an event like this again.

Since the Bonefish Grill closed in BTR ...... I forgot that Bonefish Grill had a HAPPY HOUR. I had the blueberry lemon drop ( sorry no photo) and it lead to me having 4 more. YUMMY!!!!! The menu is fabulous. Definitely enjoyed the crispy cauliflower and the ahi tuna wonton nachos. The ambiance at Bonefish has always been chic to me. You can have a drink and meal without being seen and interrupted! That is what I have always loved at Bonefish Grill .. the "private" experience. I definitely will return and I advise if you are in Metairie between 3- 6:30 pm... get off at Clearview and stop. Thank me later. Our waitress , Nyla, was awesome. Very knowledgeable and helpful. She made sure to check if we needed anything.

I saw the Tides of Flavor 5 Course Cocktail Pairing Dinner advertised on social media and thought it would be a nice event to go to. I've only been to bonefish grill one other time about 7 years ago so I thought it was time to go again. I made reservations for 3 and received about 2 calls leading up to the event confirming my reservations. When we walked in it was a good crowd and there were a lot of Mardi Gras decorations. We were given a raffle ticket, asked if we would like a booth or table, and were seated pretty quickly. Some tables had bread and when we asked about it they said they were giving tables bread who asked for it. So once we asked they gave us some and I'm glad they did because the bread and the oil they give you to dip it in was really good. Event started at 6:30 and I believe the first course came out about 6:50. The bang bang shrimp were soooo good. Very hot and crispy and the sauce was great. The winter white Bellini it was paired with was good as well. Next was the salad and hypnotiq martini. The salad was ok, but you could tell the tomatoes were old as the were very soft and we were unable to eat them. Hypnotiq martini was good. Next were the scallops and those were ok, I liked the mango salsa it was paired with. The orchid oasis martini that came with it was my favorite drink of the night. Next was the main dish the fish with shrimp and I enjoyed it. I brought most of it home as I wanted to be able to eat the dessert. It was paired with a margarita which tasted like your basic margarita. Nothing was wrong with it but I don't really like margaritas so I didn't really drink it. Last but not least was dessert. The bananas foster had a good flavor, but the birthday cake martini was not good. It was decorated cute with the sprinkles but I could not drink it. From best to worst in my opinion with drinks it was the orchid martini, winter white Bellini, hypnotiq Martini, margarita, and then the birthday cake martini. Overall, our service was good and all the staff members we came in contact with were nice. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and I'd probably attend one of their other events. I will say when you get the bill it shows you the food was $40 and drinks were $25, so I think they could let you know ahead of time if you don't want the cocktails you can just get the food for $40. Some of my family members aren't big drinkers so they didn't come because they didn't want to waste the drinks, but if it was advertised that you could pay $40 for the food I believe they would've came.

The food was great. Waiter was awesome. Drinks were on point not watered down. The only thing is we ordered one bacon appetizer and they brought and charged us for 2 but it was soo good we didn't complain.

Initially when we walked in, there wasn't a hostess so we weren't sure if they were open. Shortly after we were greeted and quickly seated. Things a favorite that's chained. Being in New Orleans there are so many wonderful places to eat that are local fan favorites that I tend not to want chained establishments. With all the parade traffic, we decided it was a great place to eat off out the way. I don't recall our servers name but he was authentically awesome! Tall, younger white gentleman with long hair and a very spunky personality. We quickly received bread which was nice since many places are starting to charge for bread service. The food came out quickly and everyone enjoyed their meals. It wasn't very busy which was nice as it was a bit quiet and relaxing. I'm sure I'll be back at some point!

One restaurant that locals constantly recommended to me was Drago's Seafood in Metairie, and now I completely understand why. I ordered the charbroiled oysters along with the crawfish platter that came with crawfish étouffée, crawfish mac and cheese, and fried crawfish. Every single thing on the table was incredible. The charbroiled oysters absolutely lived up to the hype rich, buttery, smoky, and packed with flavor. The crawfish platter was just as impressive and gave me a chance to try multiple Louisiana dishes all in one meal. What really stood out to me beyond the food was the service. The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and patient with questions from someone who isn't from Louisiana and still learning the local food scene. You can tell they take pride in both the restaurant and the hospitality. The only downside is parking can get a little complicated because the place fills up fast, which honestly says a lot about how popular it is. Just plan ahead or expect a short wait finding a spot. Overall, this is one of those restaurants that feels genuinely loved by locals and absolutely worth visiting if you're traveling through the New Orleans area.

My bartender, Darryl, took fantastic care of me. Vibes in this place are very warm and cozy, I sat at the bar to the right of the entrance as you walk in. I had a half dozen char grilled oysters and a cup of seafood gumbo. I see why the oysters are so popular, they are a hit. Buttery and garlicky, the crusty bread they serve with them is a great compliment to soak up the sauce. I had originally intended on getting the chicken and andouille gumbo but Darryl steered me away from it, he said it was very salty. I trusted his word and went with the seafood gumbo instead and was very pleased with it. The flavors were fantastic, but I am gonna ding it ever so slightly as I think $8.99 is kind of an obscene price for that serving size, but at least it was good. Overall I'm very satisfied with my lunch and the service, I think if you like seafood and you're in their area, you should eat here. Edit - $9 for a pint is a little over the top too, imo. My "light lunch" was $42 before the tip.

I came back last night really excited to have it again, but unfortunately, it just didn't live up to that first experience. My boyfriend comes all the time but this was my first visit and it was a pleasure. This time around, the portion seemed noticeably different this time around. There was a lot less shrimp, the sauce had the same Cajun flavor but was clumpy as if old and the crab cake we ordered--something we also loved on our last visit--was much smaller, but increased from $5 to $8. For a place in New Orleans, where the food scene is such a huge draw, that was pretty disappointing. That said, not everything missed the mark. Ashley, the bartender, was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and really added to the experience. Also, the gentleman opening the door was incredibly kind and welcoming. Their hospitality ended up being the highlight of the visit. I still have great memories from my first time here, but this visit just didn't hit the same. Hoping it was an off night. I spoke with the manager Kelly on the same day of service but I was not satisfied with the resolution of offering a free appetizer on my next visit when purchasing an entree. Sad to say but that was my last visit. Kelly was really nice and listened but maybe her hands are tied with how the restaurant is ran and what she can offer. I didn't need a refund or a total order replacement but something else could've been recommended. $30 is a steep price for 9 shrimp in a pasta that was clunky/lumpy and not smooth as times in the past. Maybe it was because it was a togo order but most of my orders from this business had been to go, not all but most. In all, this falls on the chef that prepared this meal and I was informed by Kelly that the chef started everything was weighed and correctly accounted for however it was the cook on the pasta and lack of shrimp. Ordered 1/2 doz chargrilled oysters and the meat pies. For some reason I did not realized the meat pies had ground beef in them; I remembered a different flavor profile. I usually eat mine raw, but these were not too salted and not overcooked. Good job, ACME! SIL ordered the 1/2 shrimp po boy, which was on her hit list of foods for the trip and I had the 1/2 hot sausage patty po boy. Both of us had the jambalaya, which was tasty but not overpowering.
