Sooooo soooo soooo good. Worth the drive and worth any wait you may have. Had two original breakfast burritos, which were good. Also had two other specials. We all ordered the smaller of the burritos and when I received mine I stated, "this is the small?" It was so fat and large. They were very accommodating as I cannot eat eggs so they overfilled my burritos with all the other ingredients I can eat. It was so tasty. Adding the guac and having the spiciest green chiles was worth it too. Topped it off with pineapple mimosas. I will be back without a doubt. read more

I stopped by here on a Saturday morning around 10 AM & it was super busy, which just haaad to mean these burritos would be bomb, right? Right. I got the Burro breakfast burrito with chorizo instead of sausage and was verrry impressed with the fresh ingredients and the powerful, spicy flavor that filled my burrito. I have been watching my friends house in Golden this week and have become obsessed with this spot, their Breakfast is top tier and the staff is so incredibly welcoming and kind. I have had breakfast here every day and they have come to remember my name and welcome me each time I'm here, the music is always great too. Starting my mornings here has made it an excellent week. The best burritos in Golden! Warning - when they say fuego, they mean it! I swung by for a quick on the go bite and chose the Jackalope (eggs, hash browns, pice de gallo, roasted Anaheim peppers, cotija cheese, avocado crèma and green chiles, $7.25 for a small, $11.25 for large), asking for it to be HOT. My husband went with the Chupacabra (eggs, hash browns, chorizo, sausage, bacon, chipotle crema, cheddar cheese, cotija cheese and green chili, $7.25 for a small, $11.25 for large). I absolutely LOVED my choice. It really put my taste buds (and sinuses) to the test. There was so much stuff crammed into the burrito I had a hard time believing it was small. My husband's want not that much bigger so honestly I recommend going with the smaller version which they call their "Little Giants." The ingredients blended together so well. And it was so filling. For a large breakfast burrito I paid nearly 20 bucks. It was an absolute potato bomb with almost no meat nor eggs. I paid for extra meat as I'd been warned by a friend but it did not help. WOW!! I had heard amazing things about this place and finally had the chance to check it out! There's take-out only (because of Covid) so you can always order ahead online or just walk in and place your order. Most people were eating their burritos in the car (no shame! I did the same!) I got the Chupacabra breakfast burrito and it was fantastic, great texture and flavors throughout the burrito. I went with the Fuego hot sauce and it's definitely spicy but I love some heat in my burritos. Now my only ask is for you to make a second location in Denver :) read more

Walked in to pick up my order and the lady at the register SCREAMED at me to go outside for my pick up order. I could clearly see the bag with my name on the counter and I can also read the big ass sign that says to go outside. Looking for a fast and tasty burrito? Bonfire is your place! Have never had a bad experience here. Small menu but great food. They do stop serving breakfast burritos I think at 11 or 12 except Sunday's are all day breakfast burritos so would recommend double checking the website. We've been here many many times. Food is amazing but the last few times have not been great experiences with pickup. I get that they are busy but if you can't keep up then shut down pre-orders. Wait time has been consistently extended by 10 - 20 mins after you show up. Last time was 30 and the lady I was in line with said she doesn't even know why they bother coming anymore. Today, we ordered an hour and 15 minutes ahead and arrived exactly when they said it would be ready, expecting a small delay but reasonable for having another place we had to be. 10 min wait wouldn't have been so bad but they were on a 40+ minute delay. This is absolutely unacceptable and poor business management. It should take 2 hours for pre-orders unless explicitly told this. I cancelled my order but did not get a confirmation from them and said I had to wait 3-5 business days. This was $50 order. I just do not understand how they can keep running a business this way and eventually they are going to lose all of their loyal customers who have been going since the food truck days. read more
