I definitely recommend that you include every single item in the video, because even with the biggest truck that they had, we still had overflow. For reference, we are a family of four, with two little kids in a three bedroom / two bathroom house. The price point was pretty reasonable and they were flexible, given the fact that they are located in Los Angeles, and we wanted them to come up to the Bay Area to help us move down to the Los Angeles area. They called us the day before to confirm all the details. When we realized that the truck was over the weight limit, Yana quickly called us to give us a couple of options. We opted for another truck to meet the first truck, to distribute the weight. It was an extra cost, but reasonable, considering the issue at hand. These guys were efficient and quick. We apparently have a ton of stuff lol. They originally mentioned that it would take 3 to 4 hours to move everything into the truck, but in reality, it took approximately 5-6 hours. They were punctual and even got there five minutes before the agreed-upon time. I wasn't there when they brought in everything, but my husband said that they did an amazing job at putting the boxes where they were supposed to be, based on our labeled boxes. They reassembled everything, no problem. I called 5 to 6 moving companies, and we are happy that we decided to go with this company, given the communication, efficiency, and price point. If you need movers, this is the company to go with.

They not only loaded our items but they helped disassemble some of our furniture and then assembled it at the new property. While none of our items were broken during the move (yay!) one of our furniture pieces did receive some damage, but we assume thats to be expected with a move and we're just happy that everything else is in perfect condition. Their rate is competitive for the area and they are very easy to work with on both an administrative level (with Helen) and on site (with the movers). I would definitely use them again if need be.

Set up a date and time, they were flexible around my schedule and everything was set until the day of service. 20min before their scheduled arrival time I text them just to let them know I was there and ready with everything. 30min after the scheduled time of arrival I called the number provided which went straight to voicemail. Left multiple messages via text, voicemail and even on yelp where we had previously communicated with no issues...no answer to any message. I understand that schedules change and would have been more than happy to reschedule if there was any communication. It is now 24hr after the scheduled service and still no communication from anyone. Chose them because of previous good reviews but now question the legitimacy of their previous reviews and would not recommend them. If you are looking for furniture builders there are several more reputable businesses on yelp with many more reviews that I would trust.

You hire someone to move your possessions from one location to another and trust that they will be timely, communicative, professional, and above all, safely deliver your items without damage. In our case, we hired M&H to move several furniture items from two stores in Southern California to the Bay Area. I sent them the list of items and locations to pick them up. As the items were heavy and fragile, they spent a lot of time ensuring they were protected during the move. A lot of blankets, cardboard, and tie-downs were used to ensure that the furniture we purchased would not be damaged. They arrived reasonably close to their estimated arrival time and were able to unload our items quickly. All of the items were undamaged and in the same condition as when we purchased them. We recently used Sinatra Movers for a short move within Santa Monica (about 3 blocks). The move…read moreconsisted of about 1.5 bedrooms' worth of furniture and boxes. The 3-man crew worked hard, was professional, and completed the move in about 4.5 hours. I would have given the experience 5 stars, but we did run into a misunderstanding at the end that resulted in additional charges we were not expecting. That said, after following up with the company, they reviewed the situation and resolved it to our satisfaction. To help avoid any surprises, in addition to using a "Yelp Guaranteed" mover like Sinatra, I'd recommend confirming a couple of things ahead of time: 1. What materials (especially shrink wrap and tape) are included versus charged separately--and what those costs are. It's also worth asking for an estimate of how much may be used, as those charges can add up quickly. Our move, for example, used six rolls of shrink wrap. Tip: If you want to manage costs, you might consider sourcing your own materials in advance as it can save you quite a bit. 2. Whether any of your items may be considered heavy or bulky and subject to additional charges. That all being said, we appreciated the Sinatra team's hard work and their willingness to work with us to reach a resolution. We would definitely consider using them again.

I also spoke directly with CSI and was told the claim was closed at your company's direction--not due to any lack of response from me. The floor damage was hidden by boxes your movers placed throughout the area. Once the boxes were removed, the scratches were visible and I notified you within two days. That is reasonable notice. The $0.60/lb valuation is irrelevant here. This is not about damaged household goods--it's about property damage caused by your employees. Scratching new granite flooring with dollies is negligence, and that liability rests with your company, not the customer. Very disappointing handling of a clear issue.
