You just dont get that sane reliability AND affordable pricing with Dish or Direct TV. Ive just recently upgraded away from the DVR to XUMO and let me tell you, I LOVE IT! No wiring everywhere, no headache to setup and activate, and the unit is small enough to fit in the palm of your hands. Its LOADED with avaliable sports channels and movie lineups, and it's intuitive! Whatever youre watching creates a que for more of the same type! If you love action, horror, rom com, or reality TV, you're suddenly in a rabbit hole everytime with LOTS AND LOTS of recommendations available! If you ever need new equipment, they will send it right out to you free of charge and most of the time you'll receive it the very next day with online instructions on how to activate it, and if youre still not sure all you need to do is call customer support and they will take time to walk you through the activation process step by step! After about a week of glitchy internet because I have a very old modem and router , I had not replaced since 2020 , George was so kind and sent me Cesar in no time who arrived within a couple of days . I am mildy disabled but the process was still fun and easy peasy ! You can easily track the status for when your technician will arrive . And I got credit for the days of service missed . I explained that we needed to get the new phone activated and so we could return the other one. He began looking into the account and said this can't we returned (referring to the new case cover I had also brought in) in which I replied I am not here to return any accessories I'm here to activate this new phone so I can mail in the old one back. He then proceeds to say oh there's an activation fee to do that if you're not in the account. Never even cared to ask for my mom's ID to even check himself. I could tell from his vibe he did not want to help us so we left another location on harbor st. At that other location they were very welcoming and the associate there was very helpful in confirming that mom was associated with the account and no need to pay for an activation fee. The store is located on the first floor of a two story building in a small shopping center on the corner of MacArthur & Bristol. When I stepped inside, it looked clean modern and well appointed with accessory displays throughout. The associate was working with someone so I waited for about 10min or so. When she came over she apologized for the wait and I began to discuss cell phone plans. She offered some great plans which included internet as well! So not only was I breaking up with AT&T, I was breaking up with Spectrum, too! They offered a sweet discount on the iPhone 17 Pro Max, so I went with that. About 20min later, I had a shiny new iPhone and sparkling new cell service & internet to boot. I'm still working out some of the kinks of having new service on a new phone but all of that is par for the course. Overall, I'm very pleased with my experience and I'm hoping it will the start of a long & happy relationship.
