Got there right as they opened and it was busy already. They have a super extensive menu with great look stuff but we went to try the tostiloco bar! Such a new and cool concept if you're looking to try something new and customize your tostilocos with different chips and toppings

I actually really like this place. Good prices, the guy that is normally there is very nice. As well as the owner. The only issue I would say I have is the guy that is normally there by himself doing everything; handling money. And working in the back. He never wears gloves and I don't see a visible hand washing station and so I question how often hand hygiene is probable?. Since everything is done in the back you can't really know what he touches. There's a small window but it only shows the person in the back from the shoulders up. So I think the guy should wear gloves and after he touches money or the register needs to wash his hands or change gloves if he's wearing any. You don't know as well if someone may have an allergy to something. Last thing you'd want is for someone to be sick.

Chamango had perfect amount of chamoy

I was craving a raspado on a Saturday Night at 835 pm to be exact . Most places are closed at this time ... SMH - but yelped saved the night . I found this place which was open until 9 ... We walked in here about 7 minutes before closing time and the 2 gentlemen working provided incredibly customer service... I was impressed about them not turning us away since they were likely almost done with closing chores and ready to go home. I ordered a Spicy (picosito) Tamarind raspado and a chamango and both were perfectly prepared. Raspado was not under or over spicy nor too sweet- I was able to finish it all without getting s stomach ache. The Chamango was equally delicious - it had the right amount of chamoy and was able to enjoy the blended mango without the sour chamoy over powering this mango slushy. We will be back to taste banana , walnut, eggnog raspados and an escamocha & will update post when I do :) Thank you for your superb customer service and delicious Raspados and Chamango !

I was a little nervous because it's hard to find a good mexican snacks place that doesn't just have a bunch of sugar and fake ingredients. This Chamango was EVERYTHING!!! From the perfect thicc smoothie texture to the FRESH mango on top it was perfection. Haven't tried anything else but after this first AMAZING experience, I will go back! Muchas gracias!!

It's a cute, Busy place but totally worth it! They have the best gansito milkshake, and the way you prepare your Tostilocos is bomb! They have a lot of good stuff on the menu, this place is a go to.

Pretty nice place Connected to a food spot as well so you can order a meal and something to drink. You can get a healthy variety as well as options like delicious snacks. Right next to a really good pizza spot. I love the fresh drinks they have here. Good pricing too! It's a good spot everyone would like

Large Chamango. I asked for light Chamoy because I'm pregnant again and get heartburn easily lol.
    Kariza C.

It's been years since my husband and I have been here, but we had to make the drive down because I'm pregnant again and was craving a Chamango. The only thing that has changed is the interior design and new additions to the menu. My first kiddo loves the new additions to the menu. (She got Cotton Candy ice cream with whip cream and sprinkles.) The service is 5/5 even after all these years, which we really appreciate. The owner asked us if we had any questions as soon as we walked in and he even followed up when we were almost done eating to see how we liked our dessert. My family & I will always support this spot and will be back to try their new menu options.

My friends and I were just looking to get a coffee in Little Italy, but when we walked in and saw all the delicious treats we had to try something else as well. I ordered a latte and neglected to tell them it was for here so I was given a paper cup, but they give real cups if you ask. The latte was good, and my friend bought a kitchen sink type cookie with chocolate, coconut, and macadamia nuts. It was warm and gooey good! Another friend tried the gelato and said it was very good. The decor and setting is cute and quirky, including cow sculptures hanging upside down from the ceiling. There were only a couple other visitors when we arrived, as it was near opening time. Our dishes took a whopping 35 minutes to be ready, and service was not very friendly nor helpful. Luckily, the music playing through the speakers added a nice vibe to the place, songs like Our House by Madness and Can't Fight This Feeling. We ordered the brunch pizza (with eggs cooked overeasy) and the breakfast flatbread which looked almost identical when served, as well as an iced mocha. The quality of the pizza was pretty average, and the eggs were slightly overcooked. The drink was really good, made fresh, with a smooth taste and a nice sweetness to it, the plastic cup coated in chocolate sauce. It tasted more like chocolate milk with a hint of coffee, which I personally enjoyed. They typically serve gelato here, but it would not be ready till almost two hours after opening time. So no milkshakes or cold desserts were available in the morning this past Sunday (no worries, Ghirardelli is just a block away). I appreciate the variety of menu items offered here. But they really should communicate online that their gelato's not ready till two hours into the day. If there's one thing that irks me about an establishment, it's failure to communicate appropriately. Even though our recent visit was somewhat disappointing, I still gave 3 stars, assuming this was an off day for them.

We stopped by recently and got incredibly lucky--there was no line in sight, so we walked right up to order! The Cookies: Gooey, Crisp, & Perfectly Balanced My wife decided to try a trio of cookies, picking out Snickerdoodle, Peanut Butter Reese's, and classic Chocolate Chip. They completely nailed the texture. Every single cookie hit that golden sweet spot--warm and gooey in the middle with just the right amount of crisp edge. What really stood out was the balance of ingredients. Chocolate Chip: Perfectly measured so you get sweet chocolate in every bite without feeling overwhelmed by chips. Peanut Butter Reese's: An absolute dream ratio of rich peanut butter to chocolate peanut butter cups. Snickerdoodle: Perfectly spiced, striking just the right "snicker-to-doodle" balance! Of course, we couldn't leave without trying the ice cream. I ordered a combination of Cookie Monster and Campfire in a single scoop. The portion size was remarkably generous--it completely filled up the small cup and delivered a fantastic mix of flavors. My wife went with a scoop combining Espresso Oreo and Mint & Chip, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, these were easily some of the best desserts we've had in a very long time. I've worked in Little Italy in the past but have never tried Caffe Italia. I got their Italian sandwich, with the default bread being focaccia. Inside there were prosciutto, salami, ham, provolone, tomato, and house made balsamic vinaigrette. It had a good balance of deli meats, and the focaccia bread was thick to hold it all together. I thought it was tasty as well as their coffee, however my coffee wasn't filled up all the way. It is strong and their roast is bold! I liked it a lot, although a lunch meal can get costly so it would just be from time to time if I were to revisit. Not only that, but they also have a small selection of gelatos which look pretty authentic like Spumoni! Other desserts I saw were mousse, tiramisu, cannoli, cheesecake, carrot cake, and rugelach. The cafe is small and the service may take a bit if you are waiting for the food, but overall, I enjoyed my coffee and sandwich.
