I was in the building above them and ran down to place my order at 6:55 PM. In the process of tying up my dog and stepping inside they told me they had just closed and would not take any more orders. I looked at my watch and it was exactly 7 PM on the dot. Apparently this company is not hurting for business during the pandemic and can't be bothered with someone who literally walked in right on the nose for 7 pm. There was a couple outside who had been staring at the menu when I walked up preparing to go inside and place an order. They were also shocked to learn they couldn't order. It's a glass window with the menu on it. They had to have seen these people standing there looking at the menu for several minutes but never once thought to go outside and let them know, hey we're gonna be closing soon if you want to place an order. I can only speak on the cauliflower crust pizza I ordered as my co-workers ordered a sub and a regular pizza and I think they were pretty satisfied with their meals. I try to eat as healthy as I can so went with the cauliflower crust option at Bozzelli's and was honestly kind of disappointed. I've had cauliflower crust at other places before and it wasn't as dry as the one I got here. Also, the crust just seemed thinner, not like it was made with cauliflower instead. Oh well. What amazed me was the beer selection, which I didn't get a chance to try. So we thought we try a new restaurant for dinner since our favorite pizza spot is closed because of COVID-19 scare. I have to tell ya you won't be disappointed. There's hardly any seating, so more of a grab and go type of place! I ordered a chicken pesto salad, it was large enough that I had leftovers. Only complaint is that they don't like for you to do modifications to their salads. I don't like olives therefore had to pick around them, which was wasteful and annoying. A decent lunch. Italian sandwich tasted good, with freshly baked bread and lots of ham, capocollo, and salami. However, there are two things that troubled me. First the list of ingredients said "Arugula." As you may know Arugula is dark green and tasty. What I got was shaved iceberg - light green and tasteless - false advertising or bait and switch is a no-no with me. Also the sandwich was smothered in vinegary sweet and hot peppers. Don't get me wrong, they tasted good, crunchy and just the right spice, but I would have preferred a few, not half of the bottle. Be forewarned: There are 3 tables, so if you plan to sit down, plan on going back to your office or hotel. The cashier was efficient, if not particularity friendly and the sandwich was delivered in a reasonable amount of time. So if you are on the south end of Crystal City and looking for a quick food option, walk north -- there are lots of better options in the vicinity. read more

Lots of cheese, the sausage was quite good. Service was not quick, but pizza takes some time to cook, so I am okay with that. Yelpers, I fear you may have let me down on this one. All I wanted today was something with melty cheese that wasn't pizza. (I guess I should have stuck with their pizza, because that has pretty good reviews on here.) However, I went with option 2: a pepperoni steak and cheese. Now just to clarify: I normally like my steak and cheeses with only ketchup, mayo and fried onions, so I'm used to it being a little more moist and definitely cheesy. I had my hopes set so high by the reviews here, and while the meat was good, the pepperoni was nice and spicy, the peppers and onions were a great addition, and the bun was not so soft that it soaked everything up (but still a bit soft for my liking), they didn't put any cheese on it. Cue a sad face... So here's what I think: The location is awesome. The fact that they have good beer and a fair wine selection, plus some random goodies, also awesome. Forgetting about the "cheese" part of a steak and cheese? -2 stars, guys. Come on. The kid at the register was really nice and offered to have them make another one, but I was slightly in a hurry, and think it's wasteful to have them make me a second sandwich, so I just went with it. I saw this place across the street from my work and was curious about it, I asked someone in the elevator who said it was good but expensive... the next work day my coworker from out of town and I decided to go. Looking at their menu they had only one vegetarian option the vegetarian cousin, I decided to ask what was in it rather than head somewhere I could pick from more options... Thin flakey really yummy bread with Mozzarella, Tomato, Basil, and Roasted Red Pepper!!! YUM! I am probably biased as these are some of my favorite ingredients, especially for a sub. Just really tasty. I got it with the works, which I think is the way to go. The consistency & flavors merge well. In all, really good. We were staying around the corner and I had to find a quick lunch and Yelp says this is 4 star worthy. It was raining out and this was something like .1 miles away. Ok, let's give it a shot. I go in and ask what I should get and the guy says this is what they're famous for. I'm up for it. 1 sandwich later and I'm a satisfied customer. This review doesn't need to be any longer because it's not a real complicated meal and it's not a real complicated place. Walk in, order, wait, then walk out. We ordered a 10 in. Casino pizza, 12 in. Steak and Cheese sub and a Senator burger. The biggest issue I had was with communication with the person on the phone. English did not seem to be their primary language. In addition,the order placed did not match what was delivered. The description on Yelp of Casino pizza did not match the delivered product. We also received fries and some sort of dessert that was never ordered. Worse yet, they took my credit card info without giving a total or providing a receipt of the order. I have no idea what I was charged... In addition, they did not honor the $2 off Yelp coupon because the driver forgot to bring his scanner?? The food itself was very good... The Pizza had a great crust. The two sandwiches were good but a bit heavy on the mayo. The fries (not ordered) were actually kind of bad. The small order of curly fries were soggy and greasy (and cold). If management would address ordering process, I would rate slightly higher. read more
