DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! They only rip off honest consumers instead of fixing the vehicles. I took our vehicle to have the brakes repaired. I paid over $400.00 to have the brakes, rotaries, and pads to be replaced. First - they tried to sell me other things Second - when my husband drove the vehicle, the back brakes started to squeal, so I called them and they said to bring it back and they would make it right. Third - My husband was the very first person at garage by at least 10-15 minutes. But he was the third vehicle to be looked at, since he is an African American. He told them to call him when the vehicle was ready. Fourth - They called me instead of my husband, to try to sell more repairs. They called my husband and tried to sell more repairs. We had to pick up the vehicle, since it is his work vehicle. But the brakes still squeal and Brakes Plus did not make the necessary repairs that we paid for!! read more

I am writing this for my neighbor who is a retired 87 year old man. He was telling me about Stonebriar Chevrolet charging him almost $75 for an oil change. When I looked at his invoice, he was charged for oil supplements that aren't needed. I don't spend $75 to change the oil in a Mercedes! Suggested he visit the Brakes Plus that is close to us. I warned him about getting a long list of other things needing attention that is usually the way the quick change places make their money. He called me today to say that not only did he NOT get a list of unnecessary stuff to fix, he had his brakes and battery checked at no cost. Tom was extremely polite and informative and his cost out the door was less than $50! I was so impressed that I stopped on my way home to thank Tom for taking care of my neighbor and not pulling the old razzle dazzle of unneeded repairs. OK. So as for service I think they did a goods job. I needed oil charge and googled for coupons in my area. Saw a promotion for 21$ oil change tour rotation winter check and fluids replacement. For 21$ that's a great deal. I sat inside and from time to time watched what they were doing to my car and they did in fact worked on it as they should, do I was happy there. The process was fairly fast I sat maybe 10 minutes until my car was taken total of 35 minutes for my car to be ready. Now here is where I didn't like: I have a very well maintained lancer gts and when they were some with my car they sat with me and explained all that was wing with my car made it sound like the car is dying when common I know for sure it's not especially after it was just been for maintenance and Mitsubishi dealership. That I didn't like.... Of course to"fix" my car would be 800$. I respectfully declined. So...... Overall they did a good job on the car but ultimately u wanna built trust and relationship with a customer so trying to upsale him stuff he don't need is generally a bad idea, that's why u knocked down two starts. Is u find a coupon and want quick check tune-up or maintenance I recommend but don't listen to the after sales pitch and either being someone who knows cars with u or go for a second opinion..... read more

This place is the sorriest place of ever been to. I put my truck in for a Oil change and fuel filter change and a alignment done. It took 2 hrs and was not really Busy at all. they charge me hundred dollars an hour which may not bill $280 I tried to talk to him about it and he just ignored me and the kicker is I'll bought my own stuff for the oil and filters. I went in to get my breaks fixed and I knew it was gonna be expensive because I had put the problems off for a couple of weeks. I finally got my car in and they inspected it and told be what I needed and when it would be done. About 25 minutes before the promised time my car was ready an the breaks work great. My hubcap came off on the way home and I called the location. They told me they would order a replacement and have it tomorrow. The next day around 12:00 called me to tell me they had the hubcap and I could stop by any day to have it installed. Great customer service at this location. But with this particular Brakes Plus, I've come to believe that the managers and staff do consistently look out for my best interests--AND for the company who employs them. That's what I want. We have been living in Frisco for a bit now & every car repair shop or tire center that we have visited has just been beyond awful experiences! ! We needed to get a lug nut & stud replaced and we already had problems at NTB so we wanted to try BrakesPlus & OH MY GOODNESS AM I GLAD WE DID !! The prices were awesome (coupons online), the service was fast & friendly ! Brad helped me out over the phone hours prior to us coming in & still remembered our conversation !! I recently went to this establishment to have my 2005 Honda Odyssey worked on. My 2 sliding doors wouldn't open. I already had it viewed at a dealership with a quote, and Brakes Plus was able to beat the pricing of the dealership. I love the service and help that Brake's Plus has always provided me, and they always give me the best service. They aren't pushy, and they don't try to sell you any repairs that aren't needed. I went in today to get an oil change and a new serpentine belt. When I would start my car it would squeal for a full 30 seconds causing embarrassment when ever I would leave school. Last week it got really bad during the 20 degree temperature. I thought I needed a new belt but Joel informed me that the belt was fine just needed to be tightened. So they could have charged me $100 but instead only charged me $37. Very trustworthy place. read more

I took my car here to check my brakes as I replaced the brakes before which had lifetime warranty. In fact that was a mistake. As I had warranty, the person tried to sell me more services/parts. I was cancelling items to come down to my budget, but the person was rude/grumpy in nature and did not want to take of items until I was keep asking. He was pushing and finding reasons as if he needs to make up for the loss for the warranty item. I end up paying all kinds of service fees and much more than what I could have got all the same things done in another place with out warranty. I was in a hurry and missed the call from the other place. I thought I will save money due to warranty!! That person did not have slightest smile during the whole time.
