Gorgeous location in a shopping area surrounded by restaurants, stores and a gigantic movie theater. Depending when you go, there might be live music outside. The staff is cordial and friendly. As I was eating my picanha Plate, I noticed the black bean was missing from my dish. When the server came to check on me, I asked about the black beans and they promptly brought me the beans. The quality of the food and kibe was great. At the end, they gave me a dessert on the house which I appreciated. Overall, an excellent second visit. I hope the business continues to thrive read more

This was quite a drive from us but we would drive anywhere to try new Brazilian food. My boyfriend got the steak plate which is picanha served with rice, salad (lettuce, cucumbers, tomato, lemon) and farofa (crispy delicious topping to put on top of the beans) and beans in this cute little pot on the side so it can stay hot. My boyfriend loved the plate, however, I thought it was a good plate but not mind blowing, the flavors were good though. I ordered the picanha sandwich, very simple came with tomatoes and cheese. It tastes exactly how you think it would taste. Like I mentioned with the steak plate, it's nothing shocking, just a simple meal with good flavor. There is outdoor seating, water station with plain water and lemon infused water which I thought was very cool. We were greeted right away when we entered and the place was clean and had cute decorations. Overall, it was a good meal but I would try something else maybe their smaller portions like coxinha or pastels. read more

I was shopping at Nordstrom Rack and got hungry. I searched "food" and didn't realize that this place was in the same plaza. What caught my eye was their steak and rice dish I saw on Yelp. This cafe is to the right of the movie theater and it's decor is very cute. They have outdoor dining as well. I noticed their menu is different than what I saw online meaning they may have seasonal options and that you'll never run out things to try. So altho I came for the steak I saw a dish I've never heard of before called the Feijoada that's only served on Sundays. Well it happening to be a Sunday I HAD TO ORDER IT, right?! Ha So it turns out that it's the national dish of Brazil and altho my steak cravings were not satisfied I found this dish to be ONE OF THE BEST THINGS I HAVE EVER EATEN. Wow, just wow. I didn't know how to eat it at first tho, luckily a couple of lovely Brazilian ladies sitting nearby helped show me how. Here's how. Pour the bean, meat stew over rice. Pour some of the crumb looking thing on top, eat with the salad. Bam. I also had to try their fresh juices and got to try the pineapple mint, and the passionfruit. Delish af. The capirinha cocktail with vodka was super refreshing and not overly sweet and came with a tropical popsicle. That was a pleasant surprise. My date ordered a square crispy pastry filled with chicken and cheese that tasted phenomenal. Pasties She also ordered small beef pastries that were really great as well. Small Kibes New game plan will be to visit on Saturday for the steak then the following day for the Feijoada (pronounced like fizz-waddah) The staff is extremely friendly and very warming, it seems to be ran by a family that was very cheery regarding my tasting experience with Brazilian food. The steak plate made my day! The picanha was so good my husband and I ended up ordering an extra side of it. It was juicy, tender, and very flavorful from great seasoning. It came with rice, black beans, and salad. If you like spice, the pepper vinegar on the table was so good we bought a bottle of it for home. The beef pastel was nice but I agree with other reviews that the filling was minimal (and all on one side). The shell is really delicious on its own so that's the upside. We tried 6 small croquettes. The beef was best, then cheese, then chicken. I liked the white sauce that came on the side. The orange juice was nice and fresh and I enjoyed the fruit infused water (orange and lime) that was complimentary. Their strawberry and chocolate pastel and flan made for a sweet dessert. They had steady business for a Saturday afternoon. Service was efficient and friendly. There was ambience from photo opp wall decor. The cheese and beef balls were really good. The misto quenche was not what i expected. When i had it in Brazil the ham and cheese were cooked and the bread was more toasty. The pastel was good but also not the same as what i remember. The service was perfect and the workers appear to be from Brazil as they speak Portuguese. The overall location is chill. Brazuca is a nicely lit and nicely decorated little gem. The son of the owner was very kind and helped answer any questions I had about ingredients and dishes. I ordered the picahna sandwich which was very delicious and light. I loved the simplicity of the dish and the aioli really helped elevate the flavor profile. I also tried their potato croquette which I dare say was better than Portos. I'll definitely return and try more of their dishes. This new Brazilian spot is a great add to the south coast food scene. Service - amazing! The owners are very warm and welcoming and more than happy to explain the menu to people unfamiliar with Brazilian food Food - everything we tried was so good! The famous Brazilian cheesy bread was soft, chewy, and delicious. The Brazilian hand pies (pasteis) are so unique - great flavors, our favorite was beef. Their meat plates were generous and tasty - we tried both the chicken and the picanha and both were seasoned and cooked perfectly. We can't wait to go back and try more items. I had the pleasure of trying this family owned fast casual restaurant today. They have a small menu but whatever they have in it they certainly do right. I had the picanha plate and pão de quiejo. The plate was prepared as if I was dining in a true sit down restaurant. Steak was perfectly cooked to my liking and so flavorful! The cheese bites were soft and chewy and warm. What a delightful spot to enjoy nostalgic tastes of Brazil. This little gem of a place won us over as soon as we entered with their warm and attentive service. Such a nice little Brazilian cafe close by to us with home cooked, delicious Brazilian meals. My fiancé is Brazilian and he approves of all the dishes here! We love coming for the picanha steak plate and an order of pao de queijo (cheesy bread) and guarana (Brazilian soda). The service is always good and friendly. We already bring our dog as it's a dog friendly place and we eat outside. Highly recommend trying it out! It's one of the very few Brazilian restaurants here in OC that is not a buffet and we always love coming here when we crave some Brazilian home cooked meals. read more

I was in Metro Pointe today n it was like ghost town there was few people shopping n nobody in any restaurants there except at this new Brazilian cafe, Brazuca. I have been to South America 3x n of course Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo n 3 more Brazilian cities, needless to say I am fascinated by Brazilian food, I have been to all the Fogo de Chao Churrascaria n unfortunately the one in Huntington Beach was not good, all the other ones were. I have steak left over fr a New Orleans Cajun cuisine at home but wanted to try this new cafe. Im sorry if I have to be honest, the owners are a nice young couple n her name happened to be like my daughter's name, I so much wish the food was as good as I experienced but unfortunately it was not. The picanha didn't taste authentic but I managed to eat it w my 10 bottles of assorted hot sauces fr around the world! Lol but the small soup was too expensive n had little flavor, it sure was not worth $12.99. The croquettes were ok, the only item delicious was the flan but it lacks the caramel flavor, I used to make a real caramel sauce w the flan when my kids were home as nobody in usa makes them. If you have never been to Brazil then this cafe might be a 4 stars. Sorry I'm not going back as I'm going to Miami next year n that's where Brazilians live along w Argentinians n Cubans I have been everywhere now my trips basically are to oink oink !. read more

Established in 2023.

Brazilians love to look for food that reminds them of their childhood or just home. We are no different so whenever we travel we always like to stop by a Brazilian restaurants in the area. During a trip to Boston we decided to visit several small Brazilian restaurants and during the trip we had the conversation about how wonderful it would be to have something like that in Orange County. Two years later we opened Brazuca Cafe. We love the fact that this unique street comfort food concept is now avaliable for everyone to enjoy. We can't wait to meet you so stop by for a nice steak plate or come have a snack, we have a great variety from croquettes to our very popular Pastel. See you soon!!

You get overwhelmed because you just start saying yes to all the meat because you don't want to miss out on a good piece but then you end up with a ton of food on your plate. I tried to play it cool and only eat small portions at a time but I got full so quickly :-( the best meat had to be the filet minion, the worst being some of the lamb options, but none of it tasted bad. We didn't order any drinks because we were trying to only get full off the actual food but we had multiple waiters try to get us to order their house cocktails. Next time I would definitely try one now that I know what to expect.

The service has been strong and there's always someone coming by to offer you cuts, though don't be caught just waiting for the cuts of meat you want - they are more than happy to take your order for the meats you're waiting for. Some make the mistake of just simply sitting quiet and waiting until the desired cut comes around - don't be shy! If you enjoy a drink with your meal, treat yourself to a caipirinha while you're here - they're sweet, strong and done well. I save room in my stomach for this place when I go. Save a second stomach for dessert, because they have a huge selection of presentable desserts to match the meats too!

That said, I would also like to highlight one of the servers who consistently provides excellent service. If possible, I would recommend visiting Thursday through Sunday when Naidelyn is working. She is always attentive to customers, provides great service, and greets everyone with a smile.

Unfortunately, my experiences at this location have become increasingly disappointing. I've encountered raw chicken left on the shelf two or more days past its expiration date, fresh fruit and salsa still being sold after their use-by dates, and produce that was visibly rotten and infested with bugs. These aren't minor issues when it comes to a grocery store--they're basic food-safety and quality concerns. And then there's the customer service. Today, there wasn't a friendly employee in sight, and the customers weren't much better. I'd especially like to thank the grumpy woman on the scooter who apparently tried to run me down three separate times. I assume you were having a bad day, but judging by the atmosphere in this store, it seems like everyone is having a bad day, every day. No one smiles. No one acknowledges customers. No one seems remotely interested in providing even basic courtesy. I understand that people have bad days--I really do--but when the entire experience consistently feels cold, hostile, and unwelcoming, it becomes a pattern rather than an isolated bad day. The cashier couldn't be bothered to say hello back or even make the slightest attempt at being friendly, and the young man bagging my groceries was just as dismissive. I've spent years shopping with Northgate Markets, which makes this especially disappointing. Customers shouldn't walk into a store and feel like they're an inconvenience for simply being there. Today was the final straw for me. There are plenty of other places willing to take my money while treating me--and other customers--with basic courtesy and respect.
