I have always loved this restaurant. Tammy was our server today. She is always very friendly and attentive. We ordered sausage and eggs and Chicken Fried Steak and eggs. The Chicken Fried Steak was huge. The eggs were cooked perfect to our orders. The manager, Joe, was constantly staying busy helping everyone out. A decent breakfast. Good place to take grandpa for dinner. Staff is courteous and attentive. Pro top- they will ask if you want the "regular size", which means enormous trucker size. This is one of the worst steakhouse restaurants around! I will never go there again! We got there and there were a few people waiting, I said that there were two of us and said my name, we asked where the bathroom was, both of us went to the bathroom. Then we waited, and waited, and waited! Meanwhile, other couples who had a party of 2 got seated, a family of 5 got seated. Finally, my husband asked about us and our name was scratched off! WE WERE SITTING RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE HOSTESS! Finally got seated, ordered drinks and ordered food. We notice that there are several tables that are empty! There were still quite a bit of people waiting to be seated ( with still several tables that are empty!!!The food was bad! Good corn bread though! At least one family left a little bit after finally getting seated! If I could give this place 0 stars I would!! Will never go there again and I wouldn't recommend it! Like I said, we asked where the bathrooms were, he saw us leaving for the bathroom, so they need to make a note by the name to note that they went to the bathroom. A friend suggested this place to meet. Ordered ribs (good sized for a full rack and very meaty) and the panko tilapia (2 large filets, grilled veggies baked potato. Only been for dinner, but good food and great service! Has a diner feel with all the things you'd want like burgers but also has some pasta, chicken, steak...and even a mexican portion of their menu. Everything is homemade there, as in, they make all their dressings and sauces from scratch. They also have AMAZING desserts. I loved the berry pie the most until I tried the cheesecake covered in boysenberry...now I'm addicted to that. My wife and I came here for the first time. We were seated by the Maitre D' right away and the wait staff came to us not too long after and asked us what we want to drink. So, we ordered our beverages, she left and got them so promptly. She then took our order and it took quite a long time for our food to arrive. I was on the verge of complaining when she brought the food out. I must admit my disappointment became a delight when our food came in a warm plate. At least I know the food was not seating out before they were brought to us. The food was alright, I ordered the small order of San Francisco Joe's Special. This is the first time we were disappointed in Brookfields. I ordered fish and chips. Sent chips back, they were not hot. The fish coating was greasy so I removed it from the fish. There was no flavor to the fish, even though I squeezed lemon on it. It was an embarrassing meal, since we brought two 2 friends as guests. They ordered the Captain's Platter and not happy either. This was our second time going to Brookfields. I'm surprised that with the variety of food they have that they are able to do it well. I got the sweet potato pancakes my first time and the turkey dinner last time. My husband got the BBQ sliders(with gfree buns) first time and tuna melt(gfree Bun) this time. I chose Brookfields because of their bottomless mimosas and mouth watering menu. As excited as I was to go in and pregame with my friends (as my DD watched), I was so excited to eat. I ordered the garlic French fries for an app, which was just as tasty as the AT&T's park garlic fries (which is amazing!). Then for my main course I had the coconut haddock (amazing). I give them five stars because they are a five-star example of this kind of place. It is what it is... basic food, basic environment.
