My wife and I had a heck of a time just trying to buy a meal at Bruegger's. The first time we tried to eat here (the Upper Arlington location), the line was out the door and every table was taken. The second time (also in UA), we showed up at 6:12 p.m on a Saturday and walked in the door, only to be told they closed at 6. Why would a restaurant close at 6 p.m. on Saturday, right in the middle of dinnertime? If business is slow after lunch, close at 2 or 3 p.m., but not at 6 p.m. That's just stupid. And maybe lock the door if you're closed? (There was no one else inside but us.) But that was the Upper Arlington location. We figured we'd have better luck at the Dublin store, and we did. I ordered a breakfast sandwich (egg, bacon and cheddar with peppers on a sesame bagel), and it was very good. I was a little disappointed that the egg and bacon were premade and microwaved to order, but maybe I was expecting too much. I also had a strawberry lemonade, which was pretty tasty and definitely refreshing, but I think I detected a slight artificial-ness in the aftertaste. We also took home a bag of bagels: cinnamon sugar, blueberry, pretzel, pumpernickel, salt, etc. I was especially excited to see the salt bagels, which I haven't seen since Mill Street Bagels in Clintonville closed many years ago. It was, predictably, insanely salty, so much so that I'm still thirsty now, six hours after eating it. But I suppose if you order a salt bagel, that's exactly what you want. I wish Bruegger's would slice the bagels for you, as I found it difficult to slice them with a knife, especially the sticky/slippery ones like the cinnamon sugar. read more

Never coming here again. They do not change their gloves! The girl wore the same gloves that she used to make my food, rang me out and used the same gloves to make the next guys food. Then there a hair in my bagel. The girls hair was a mess and all over the place. Not only that my cream cheese fell the edge of the bored and she picked it back up and put in back in my bagel. read more

Bruegger's Bagels customer service is awesome! I recently placed a catering order for my team and the Manager and Franchise Owner Mike were absolutely amazing - I called the store to set up an order and instead received a call from Mike himself to help me set up the order, he followed up with me so quickly and was so kind throughout the entire process. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot to pickup my order a few mornings later, the team had already boxed up and labeled my order and were on their way out the door to meet me at my car! Yum! I am having the Turkey in the Slaw sandwich, its the best hot sandwich I have had in while. The sea salt and caramel iced coffee is refreshing on this warm morning. I love coming here they are always so nice. The ace is convenient location and you can eat outside. read more

I'm a regular visitor of this place especially for carry out. Placed an order for pickup and cashier asked my credit card when placed an order over the phone which never happened before. When went to pick up, got wrong order and when went again to pick up my correct order, manager replied: "because of you, the other client also couldn't get their order". Also when requested to talk to owner, manager replied, "owner has lot more important things to take care of than mine". Well I guess if that manager starts treating customers like this, owner won't have to take care of those 'important' things. When I came back home with correct order, no freezer bags and bagels were not sliced as well despite of being requested that way. *** The next week after my bad experience, I had a really good positive follow up with owner. He understood my view and assured me of positive experience in future. read more

Let's start by saying that I was born and raised in New York and my bread expectations (in any form) are extremely high. With that being said, I LOVE brueggers bagels. I stop in almost every morning before work for this little taste of home. The customer service is awesome. And as someone who has worked in food service it is always nice to see management and/or owners staying involved. They are kind to their staff and take the time to listen to their needs (I've witnessed a few of these one on one's while camping out in one of their sunlit booths) The only reason I knocked off one star is because as previously mentioned, the microwaved egg and pre made bacon are a side step from the rest of their made to order choices. The kitchen is set up in front of glass so you can see all the work that goes in to making bagels (it also gives you an inside look to the level of cleanliness which is top notch) All in all this place is great. read more

Went in on a sunday around noon. Not a busy time at all. The three young "ladies" were more interested in a pickle fight than helping me. If they are throwing the pickles around,makes me extremely wary of eating anything there at all. I would have left, but it was late and my son wanted bagels. So I ordered, finally. Took 2 girls to fill my order, a bagel bundle, and then they were out of cream cheese because someone ordered wrong they said. Hmmm, wonder which dip ordered? I live in the area and have been in many times, but one bad experience like this and it will be my last. Bagels are good, but service left a very bad taste. read more

We ordered off of GrubHub while stopping through Dublin/Columbus on a cross-country move. The food that was made correctly wasn't bad, but it wasn't that great either. I'd say the food is worth about a 3-star review, which is what I would have left it we didn't have these other issues with it: Our 4 bottles of water were missing, the soup obviously just came out of the fridge and wasn't warmed up at all, and on our sandwiches was completely wrong- they didn't add any of the toppings we asked for at all. Still, we were hungry and it was edible. They delivered in the stated amount of time, and the Tarragon Chicken Salad Sandwich was yummy. read more

The bagels are okay but the employees need additional training. I went in to order some bagels and the two employees working behind the counter just ignored me. They saw me but did not acknowledge me. They should have at least said hello and we will be with you shortly. I had to wait several minutes before another employee left the cash register to help me. Workers don't seem to give a crap about being quick with service and food isn't great either. Ordered a zesty egg white sandwich which had a tomato basil spread, egg white, turkey sausage and plain bagel. The worker took a pre made egg circle out of a refrigerator and then heated it up in the microwave, yuck. I also ordered a vanilla ice coffee which tasted like pure sugar, won't be returning to this establishment. read more

This location of Bruegger's is fantastic, with great franchisee-owners. Yesterday, I submitted an order via a website to have lunch catered for a meeting today at my office; the vendor messed up and lost the order. With a lunch-meeting starting and no food on the way, I contacted Mike Salcone at Bruegger's, and he quickly jumped in to help. He took an order for me to cater twelve people, and had an assortment of sandwiches, salad, and cookies in our hands 60 minutes later, despite my calling during their lunch rush. The food was great, and the service impeccable. I'll absolutely be using this Bruegger's location's catering services again in the future. read more
