I got the Nutella waffle and brisket skillet. The waffle was delicious! The brisket skillet was good but not the best. It really didn't feel seasoned at all and needed a lot of salt. Definitely needs a sauce or something. Was also lacking cheese which would have helped. But it is very filling. Surprisingly not busy on a Sunday morning. Inside is clean.

Good food, nice location, and it was a nice day for a breezy patio brunch. We haven't ever stopped in for brunch before, but I'm glad we did. Even on Mother's Day the service was quick and mostly accurate. We would come back.

    Banana foster French toast

Straight to business, the banana foster was a 10/10. It was perfect and i hate wet bread ! Fluffy, chewy, moist, i didn't even need the syrup but i definitely tried it with the toast. The syrup was unique and delicious ! I wish i could've taken it home but i ate everything up and had no leftovers ‍. I order my eggs soft scrambled and they did not disappoint. 10/10. Fluffy and delicious, it holds shape really well and with some salt and pepper it's a banger ! I'm sure it tastes even better with cheese because my lactose intolerance man scarfed his down before i could get a bite ! We also ordered mimosas and they were PERFECT but be careful ! More than two will probably knock you flat. The bacon was thick and smoky without being oily and the hashbrowns tasted great even without ketchup. Whole meal was a 10/10 ! The music and ambience was great and relaxing and our server, Thomas, was attentive, funny and made the meal even better with his helpful tips and jokes. I'm looking forward to our next visit !

I went here for "brunch" on a Sunday and it was great. There were no wait times, they have all day breakfast and brunch which was great because we got there at about 2pm. It's very airy and they can easily accommodate not small and large parties. I wasn't too hungry so I got their deal that gave me a stack on pancakes with eggs and bacon for $9, I will definitely be back.

    Pineapple Pancakes order of 2
    Victoria E.

Love the pineapple upside down pancakes and since the Holidays felt like we deserved. We just get the order with 2 and then order a skinny plate with eggs and bacon, so we have some protein. Pancakes are sooooo good the caramelized pineapple in the pancake is delicious. Bacon good too crispy. Our server was very attentive but place was not busy on this week day. Very noisy inside between music, customers and rattling of dishes.

I visited Bruncheon on a Saturday morning around 10am. The small space was not overly crowded, but there was a very good, relaxing vibe as I entered. I was greeted cheerfully and advised to sit anywhere. When my waiter arrived, I expressed that this was my first visit. He graciously pointed out a few of the features and that a plate advertised as only available M-F could be offered on the weekend as well. I ordered the Traditional Benedict with breakfast potatoes. The muffin was beautifully toasted and the sauce was silky smooth. Lovely! The medium poached eggs were a bit too soft for my liking, but they were very tasty. (The waiter confirmed that I would like medium....so I take the responsibility for that one!) My only complaint would be in the potatoes. What arrived had A LOT more onions than I would have liked. The few potatoes that I did eat were very soft and nicely seasoned.....but I wasn't looking for mouthfuls of sauted onions with my breakfast.

I moved to Richardson and this place was first on my list to try. It was pretty good. I wish they had more coffee options. The pancakes are LEGIT. I appreciate that you can basically add brisket to anything. Since settling in we have ordered the pancakes a couple times on lazy days. The lunch menu is also great. The burgers are really good. Tons of options; something for everyone.

Met up with my good friend for some breakfast and this place was in the middle of us. Love the ambience and the staff was professional, kind, and fast! Good portions are large and made fresh! Coffee was really good too. We just ordered omelettes and chose our sides if hash browns, pancakes, and fruit cups. I'll definitely be back if I'm in town. Check it out! Great for small or large groups. Till then, let's eat!

Great brunch spot! The pineapple pancakes are a MUST. Definitely my favorite pancake in a long time, don't know a restaurant with something similar! Service is always good here and food comes out fast. This place is always bustling.

The food was delicious, I love the ambience the size of the restaurant was great for a big party or an intimate breakfast gathering. The waiter was very friendly and catered to his customers. I would definitely come back again

Down for a conference and first time here. Who doesn't like a good omelette place for breakfast? The other thing from a business point of view - great name. Tell your customers exactly what you do. Very nice setting, good food, and very attentive service from Ashley. Definitely recommend.

I happened upon Bruncheon and was really hungry and so I decided to give them a try. The ambiance here is pretty typical breakfast/brunch diner. Pretty simple, overly loud, a few pictures thrown on the wall as more obligatory than much thought. Just basic. Our service was just ok. There were awkwardly long times in between our server's visits. He did not seem overly busy, but he did seem preoccupied in conversations with some of the other servers. The food was just ok too. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken. Not bad by any means but not great. The toast it was served with tasted like an afterthought. I think they could surely do a lot better.

Nova Lox crepes! Lightly smoked tender Nova Scotia salmon! Pick your sides options.

We ordered corned beef hash skillet with pancakes, south border skillet, biscuits gravy with eggs and pancakes. The corned beef hash skillet gets a high mark. The south border skillet was average. The biscuits gravy with eggs and pancakes were cold and it gets a low mark. If we decide to eat at Honey Berry in the future, it will be the Frankford Rd location.

Our server had a scowl on her face from the moment she came to the table. (Long dark ponytail) It was 12:30pm & it was not busy (breakfast rush was over.) We had to get up three times to ask for things, our toast & pancakes, napkins, coffee. The three servers working were standing at the front counter talking away with each other our server, at one point, was talking on her cell phone. The food quality has gone down in recent months. Eggs were nice & hot, hash browns were cold, bacon had been good in the past, but our past two visits the bacon has tasted burnt & it has an odd flavor. Toast was over cooked, not buttered, it was not edible. The last time our coffee was refilled was by a man that looked like he had just come out of the kitchen. He was very nice & we were grateful that our coffee was being refilled without having to get up and ask for it. The servers were still lolly gagging behind the counter while the gentleman was refilling our coffee. I have worked in the restaurant business from being a server & also in management. I am very understanding of all angles of what is going on in a restaurant setting. The service on Saturday was the worst service I have ever experienced. Rude & unapologetic, it was as if we were inconveniencing her. We will not be returning.

The only two things I remembered from this place was that the food was salty, my husband also commented that on his food--and he likes salt! Second, with my daughter and her many food allergies, we decided to go with plain chicken wings. They mentioned the seasoning was just salt and pepper. My daughter mentioned it being spicy so I tasted it and yes there was seasoning other than salt and pepper. I was very annoyed because she's allergic to gluten and some seasonings contain gluten. I notified the waiter and assumed we were getting a new order. BIG NOPE! What they did was RINSE the chicken and reheated it. How do I know this? Prior to sending it back, I cut a flat of the chicken wings in half for my daughter. When we got the "new" wings, the cut up flat was still on the plate. I was so shocked. Never seen that in a restaurant. At this point, we were all pretty much done with our meals and a storm was brewing so we just wanted to get out of there. I will not come back.

We had the deviled eggs and lump crab cakes to start, and both were SO good. Prices were great too. Our waitress, Staci (or Stacy), was AMAZING. Sweet, funny, great at banter, and incredibly attentive. Even when she was busy, she never made us feel like we were inconveniencing her. When she was at our table, we had her full attention, she checked on us the perfect amount, and we never had to ask for anything twice. She was on top of her game! My only complaint was a really awkward interaction at the end. I wanted to ask Staci two simple questions: whether they carried an olive gin I'd had in Europe (they didn't, but I haven't found it anywhere) and whether I could buy a roll of quarters because we were going to play pool. Somehow this turned into 5-6 staff members gathering around, plus this random blonde lady in a white T-shirt and jeans joining the conversation. Aside from Staci and the blonde lady, no one else even acknowledged me. They just stood there looking at me. It was weird. It felt like a lot of unnecessary attention over two simple questions and made me pretty uncomfortable. Having another customer involved was honestly the weirdest part. It was disappointing because we'd had such a great experience up until then. I went from thinking, "I need to bring my friends here!" to leaving feeling pretty unwelcome. Food: delicious. Atmosphere: beautiful. Prices: great. Staci: WONDERFUL. I just wish the interaction at the end had matched the rest of the experience. I changed my rating from two stars to four stars because I didn't feel like one bad interaction was worth two stars and I was a little flustered when I originally wrote my review.

Our appetizer arrived lukewarm and was served at the same time as our main dishes, despite being ordered with drinks. To make matters worse, our plates were not cleared after we finished eating, which only added to the feeling of being forgotten. I ordered the Trifecta with a carrot cake pancake, expecting something special, but it turned out to be just a basic pancake with carrots, raisins, and nuts added.
