My family and I were at the Whittwood Town Center when we saw a long line in front of the new place and wanted to see what the hubbub was all about: A new ice cream place! We were met by warm, friendly service and really enjoyed our desserts. My pistachio was deliciously nutty and creamy. My son gave the mint chocolate chip two huge thumbs up and my wife said the butter pecan was the best she's ever had. (I ended up returning to get her a pint!). Kids under 40 inches tall are treated to a "baby cone," which is a single scoop of your kid's choice, topped with sprinkles. My 3-year-old ended up with two cones that night and instantly fell in love! We've gone two days in a row and plan to make a few more trips next week! We now have a favorite place! read more

Recently my fiancé and I stopped by the newly opened Bruster's Real Ice Cream in Whittier. It's a well run family shop with friendly and very accommodating owners and staff. They have several creative and high quality flavors, 24 made daily onsite, as are the waffle cones. The operations can be readily observed from the large windows. I enjoyed a very refreshing mango freeze and finished with a waffle cone with a creamy vanilla topped with chocolate syrup. My fiancé loved her cone with chocolate chip mint ice cream sprinkled with ground cinnamon. We appreciated the family atmosphere with kids under 40 inches offered small cones, as well as treats for dogs; both at no charge. We will definitely be returning...very positive vibe! read more

the times i came here i order two waffle cones and the employee does one cone and starts helping another customer. i have to always end up explaining to another rep i'm missing a cone! i don't think its the employee's fault i think management isn't training them on how to read customer's orders. when i was waiting for my second cone since they forgot, another customer had the same issue! different employee. the ice cream there is delicious but their team needs work. read more

Good ice cream, terrible franchise owner! On customer appreciation night, we literally got yelled at by the owner for asking for cups on the side as we ordered ice cream cones. We have to drive home and other customers were getting cups from employees, I guess we messed up by asking the owner himself. Aren't they still having their grand opening? We had been waiting for this whittier location to open up and finally we are enjoying some creamy, delicious ice cream treats. Our dog gets a puppy ice cream treat Everytime. Their customer service is great. Ck out their menu. There are blasts and even oat milk ice cream. They rotate some flavors monthly. My favorite now is key lime pie and cherry Vanilla. Also like the banana and strawberry banana with oat milk. My kids enjoy rocky road, chocolate,cookies and creme and pistachio. You can't go wrong with any of the flavors. Their banana splits are bomb and u may choose your flavors and toppings. I liked the pineapple and fresh strawberry syrup. It's been open only for a couple of weeks and we have been over 7 times. My husband & I just visited this new place at the mall & we we're definitely not disappointed. The only difficulty we encountered was trying to decide what flavor of ice cream we wanted.
